Best Pies in Texas Hill Country | Eater Austin

"Austinites won’t have to travel far for these pies. Co-owners of this endearing Round Rock bakery pull from their Mexican and Bolivian heritages, offering a menu of both sweet and savory offerings, including quiche, frittatas, and salteñas, an Argentine empanada that’s a popular Bolivian breakfast food. The pies, however, are classic American, with options ranging from strawberry rhubarb and Dutch apple to peanut butter, coffee mousse, and bourbon pecan. Enjoy with a pot of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. Place takeout orders in person or over the phone." - Nadia Chaudhury

What a little gem of a place! Had brunch with some girlfriends and the food was incredible and the service friendly (albeit a bit slow but waitress said they were understaffed). The little old converted house had plenty of character with lovely unique ceramics decorating the place and you were served on pretty pieces as well. The liege waffles were to die for (crispy, not so too sweet) and the bottomless coffee very good as well. Will return for a savory brunch soon! As a bonus, take a little stroll down the park trail to the neighboring little waterfall.

If you’re looking for a little taste of Paris right here in Round Rock, this place is a gem! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the warm pastries straight out of the oven. Everything feels authentic—from the infused waffles to Nutella crepes. It’s cozy and the perfect spot for an intimate breakfast.

This small, local gem has completely won us over! The menu might be small, but it’s so thoughtfully curated that every dish we’ve tried has been fantastic. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, like being at home, and the service is always top-notch. We’re regulars and look forward to brunch here every weekend. Even if there’s a bit of a wait sometimes, we don’t mind, it’s a small, family-owned spot, and the experience is always worth it. Our top recommendations? The Croque Madame Croissant, Tartine au Saumon Fumé, Molletes, Chilaquiles, Prosciutto and Cheese Tartine, and the Liege Waffles. Everything is absolutely delicious! We can’t recommend this place enough. We absolutely love it!

This little gem deserves a visit if you are in the area. Small but cute little setup with some tables inside and the majority outside. Don’t worry, there are fans and it’s under a roof to protect you from the sun. The food was delicious, we ordered one of the frittatas and it was great. The ham and cheese crepe was also really good. We had a great time here and you can bring your dog with you to enjoy!

Google
What a cute hidden gem! The food is wonderful, the ambience feels like I’m in a little cafe in Europe. The people working are so kind and welcoming. Everything was delicious! Quiche was seasoned beautifully and the waffle was delicious! The salmon tartine tasted fresh and bright. Will keep coming back!

We had to try this place because its a staple in Round Rock. We had the veggie quiche with salad and we also had the veggie chilaquiles with poblano sauce and egg -it was just ok for $18 - the chips were not greasy and crunchy so it passed the taste test. We also had the lavender lemonade that was very good. The service was ok. The server didn’t come back once and never got a water refill. And it was not busy so Im not sure why but no big issues. I will need to go back and give some of the pastries a try and see how the service is inside to avoid some of the bugs outside

Came from New York and heard about this place. I was surprised not to find pies haha but the food was so good that I forgot all about it :) The service was great, the staff is very nice and the outside sitting is absolutely lovely! Highly recommended 🤩🙌💯

Yelp
If you're anywhere near this little gem and don't stop at Papi's Pies, you're doing brunch (and life) all wrong. This place? An absolute treasure. I would brave the unforgiving Texas heat, fire ants, and possibly even small talk with strangers just to sit on their patio. First of all, the quiches? Actual royalty. Fluffy, flavorful, perfectly baked--like someone's abuela whispered ancient pie secrets into the eggs. And the eggs themselves? Chef's kiss. Whether scrambled, poached, or tucked into some heavenly brunch concoction, they hit every single time. The whole vibe is cozy, quaint, and effortlessly charming--like stepping into a storybook where every chapter begins with "...and then we had mimosas." Bottom line: I'd happily melt in the Texas sun just to be here. The food is that good. The setting is that sweet. 13/10, would brunch again and again.

Yelp
Don't blink or you'll miss it. I drove past because it looks like a residential property. Quaint little place, is around the side. It's like eating at grandma's house. Mismatched plates and display of teacup. Only about 8 small tables inside. There is a nice patio area which is 2-3 times bigger than the indoor area. Food was great! I ordered lavender lemonade, my sister ordered hibiscus water. Both are refreshing and not too sweet. I chose waffles with bacon and added a scrambled egg. Fabulous choice if I say so myself. Egg was well seasoned. Waffle came with berries & whipped cream. No need for syrup. The waffles were close to those I ate while in Belgium. Dense but not heavy, nice crunch of sugar. My sister said her crepe was great. Savory with ham and egg. Only down side is there were flies buzzing around. But they do have sinning things for the table to shoo them away.

Yelp
This is such a cute little brunch spot! I've been meaning to try this place out for a while now and glad I finally did. The restaurant is not really noticeable as it's tucked in the back streets of Round Rock but once you get to the location, there are signs directing you down the path to a back area. It gives off an old timey cottage vibe which I adored. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. It was a lovely day so we opted for outdoor which was this artsy garden area. I'll admit that on the day we went, service was a tad slow but I appreciated the sign on the door giving us the heads up that they were understaffed for the day. Also since it was a nice day out, I didn't really mind. As for the food, I initially had wanted to try their salteñas (Bolivian empanadas) but sadly learned that they only have those on Fridays. Instead I ordered their Quiche Poblano and Lavender Lemonade. Let me just say, the quiche was so incredible that I had a hard time holding myself back from ordering a second plate of it. The lemonade was refreshing and had the perfect amount of lavender as well. All in all, a super lovely spot. I'll definitely be bringing any out of town guests here next time instead of going all the way into Austin, and also hopefully get to try their salteñas!

Yelp
Transport yourself to a quaint English cottage complete with its own garden when you enter Papi's Pies. It's a little hidden from the road which made it even more magical to eventually find the restaurant sign peeking out. The ambiance is casual and feels like you're at grandma's cozy home for an afternoon iced tea and lunch. We sat at a shaded area outside and it was perfect. I had the chilaquiles and the chipotle sauce it came with was perfect and as a spicy food lover the dish had a good amount of kick. 10/10 dish. Tried the croque madam and waffle and all were 10/10. High quality ingredients, perfectly seasoned, texture of the waffle was crispy and tartlets were all grilled to toasty goodness. The chef pays high attention to detail so don't be fooled by their humble cozy appearance. Oh and they brew their iced teas in house and the unsweetened peach one is AMAZING. You can order it sweetened too if you prefer.

Yelp
What a cute little place! An old Round Rock house, turned into a charming French/Argentinian restaurant. Art for purchase adorns the walls along with birdhouses of every kind which along with the limited amount of seating inside and in their garden, makes for a pretty quaint yet whimsical restaurant. I could easily see myself having tea and pie here but for my first visit, it was all about the breakfast. I have heard tales of their liege waffles and though I was tempted by them, I knew I would be able to snag some bites from my nieces. For me, it was all about the croque madam croissant. It was incredibly flaky and buttery and the egg on top was cooked just perfectly. The bites of waffle I had were sugary and crunchy and indeed, did not need any syrup, though I would've liked to try it! I unfortunately did not get to try any of their famous pies but that's what next time is for! We got lucky in that we came sort of in-between breakfast and lunch, and somehow got the one table that was left but once we sat down, there were at least 4 other groups who wanted to be seated and had to settle for the chilly garden tables. Though I very much enjoyed my meal and the ambiance, I will say, if you are hungry, maybe go somewhere else, or just be prepared to order two meals/snatch food from your nieces when they aren't watching. The portions are fine but in my opinion could be bigger.

Yelp
My daughter and I had lunch at Papi's Pies on a recent Thursday. The weather was perfect to sit outdoors in the shade. There is also seating indoors. Based on previous reviews, the menu has changed somewhat and leans toward French bistro in style. The restaurant had a sign up indicating they were short staffed, and it appeared as if there were only 2 people running things. Since it was not crowded during our visit, there wasn't a significant wait. Had the place been full, anything cooked to order could take a while. We ordered 2 crepes. The crepes tasted good and seemed to be made using fresh ingredients. There was a cherry tomato garnish. My daughter had a lavender lemonade, which was slightly sweetened. Portion sizes are not generous, and pricing is on the high side given those portions. The quality of the food was excellent, and service was friendly, which may override any objections to pricing.

Yelp
Charming restaurant with a great outdoor space. We were a group of three and were seated right away. We shared a croissant. It was delicious. Nice and warm. I had the Frittata Florentine. It was very good and surprisingly a lot of food. The salad was also very good. I really like this local Round Rock business and will definitely be back.

Yelp
Wow!!! What a great find!! Nestled in the back off of Chisholm trail in Round Rock near "the round rock" is this amazing little jewel. We tried croquettes for the first time.. wow.. what a savory little delight. The ham and cheese were amazing. I will come back and try some pie soon because they look amazing... The service was very personable... felt like I was in Europe. The mood/ ambiance was very nice and quiet.... Just a great experience

Yelp
Very neat little quaint brunch spot in Round Rock. Worth trying for sure. They seem to be shortstaffed a lot so be prepared to wait. Still though, really fun little spot with great food.

Yelp
I knew this place was gonna be good when the coffee tasted good. This is a family run place, which I love. The decor was so fun and unique. The food was outstanding and the service was great even though they were understaffed. You know this place cares and I can't recommend this place enough. I will be back!

Yelp
I give the food and service 5 stars. It was delicious and everyone was nice. They have a lovely small outdoor eating area as well as indoor. The one thing I cannot get over is how ridiculously horrible their water smells. We ate here 5 years ago an I gagged when I tried drinking the water and had honestly forgotten about it until they gave us water. It isn't their glasses because our kid got served in a disposable cup and it was just as horrid. Something is majorly up with their water. It kinda ruined the enchanted experience. If they can figure this part out they're a 5 star establishment.

Yelp
This is such an adorable and inviting spot in round rock and definitely worth a visit. What really makes me give this a 5/5 is just the charm of the whole place. You can see the love & care of the family restaurant as the owners are the ones serving you and explaining how to properly eat a Bolivian salteña as they did in Bolivia. It's warm, inviting, and has a cottage feel. Truly a lovely place to enjoy breakfast and stay a while! The menu is a mix of European, Bolivian, Mexican comfort foods, reflecting the owners backgrounds. We ordered the chicken salteña, cherry blossom tea, a few quiches, cherry pie. Everything was very good, I particularly really enjoyed the hot tea on a chilly day and the Florentine quiche. I'd love to come back to try some of the other menu items. I hope this place never loses its small-town feel & charm!

Yelp
We really liked Papi's Pies, so I hate to say anything negative about it (but I will a little further down). First the good...the food was delicious, and very artfully prepared. I had the smoked salmon sandwich, pretty much what you'd find on a bagel at most places. Here it was served open-faced on a tasty roll. For a simple sandwich, it was very pretty, with sweet, pickled onion and capers topping it. It was picture-worthy (although I didn't take one). The sandwich itself was yummy. My SH had the side salad and a croissant. The salad was a very nice mixture of greens, and deliciously dressed. The croissant was flaky, buttery, and very good. Lunch was finished off with a slice of cherry pie, which was house-baked and very tasty. Portions on everything (except may be pie) weren't particularly generous, and price/value ratio could have been higher, but there was enough food to satisfy. The ambiance was what I'd call "shabby chic", very cute, and something that looks family-owned. Lots of vegetation outside with a large patio area. As others have noted, inside dining is very limited, with around 8 smallish tables. When full, it's pretty noisy inside too. As far as the "not so good"... when we arrived, there was a sign on the door noting that they were short-staffed that day, and it was certainly true. Our server was friendly, but clearly overwhelmed by having to serve the whole restaurant (about 8 tables), and apparently inexperienced. Service was a bit slow, but definitely confused at times, with questions about orders being directed to the wrong tables, no silverware and no napkins. One other example was that I ordered wine (which she was too young to serve herself), and asked for it several times during the meal process, and it never came (although it was still on the tab when we went to pay, even though we'd finally asked it to be removed). Would we go back? Absolutely! Papi's was fun, and the food was good. I'd expect the hiccups to be a "one off".

Went back last weekend and forgot how yummy this place was. Great friendly customer service and the food was excellent.

Yelp
I love Papi's Pies and I have been going there for years. Today's food experience didn't disappoint. My poblano quiche was delectable and my husband's croque mosieur was tasty. The chilaquiles were fine, sauce was tasty but the tortilla chips (homemade), were overcooked, brown, and very thick. We were there when it was about 90F outside and we realized the great need they have for cooling fans, specially considering that getting our order served took them over one hour! The tea refills didn't come often enough, considering the heat, and water was not offered either when we first sat down. When we finally got a tea refill it didn't have ice, and when they brought the ice, we had drunk the tea and there was no other refill offered to us. Overall, food was very good, but the facilities could use some TLC or upgrade to make their pretty patio pleasant, taking into account Texas temperatures. The staff could definitely be trained better to serve guests better and more efficiently. I wish it would have been a better experience since my husband and I were there to celebrate our anniversary, but at least we got a quiet table, with nice music. Funny note, this was my husband's first visit to this restaurant and he nicknamed it "Papi's Purgatory" because of the combination of the heat and the service experience mentioned above. The made a joke saying that he felt like Tantalus when they finally served us some of the food but didn't bring utensils for us to eat... ha ha ha!

Yelp
The 'burbs are calling you to a secret garden and this gem of a cafe. Why wouldn't you want to sample 12 kinds of pie? Caution to the wind, just bring all your friends. I leaned on restraint and had a (yes, vegetarian/vegan) Quiche Poblano - light, delicious corn, onion, and cheeses layered with poblano in a potato crust alongside a mound of the freshest garden greens. The place is JUST DARLING, exactly where you'd envision meeting some Cheshire eating her heart out in 5 pies, but I tried one, my friend's makes two, and neither were my fave. So quiche it is! Take the house recommendation, also grab a croissant, they know what they're doing.
google avatar

Melissa P.

Yelp
Cutest little place to have brunch. Restaurant is literally an old house converted with option to sit outside under porch cover in yard. I've been twice now and both times were consistent in quality of food and service. Go to this place when you have time. It's not going to be fast service but the meals taste like old home cooking made with love. Lavender lemonade and peach tea are wonderful summer options. Plenty of pies to finish off the meal or take with you.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a favourite spot for my wife and I. It's small and tucked away, just as we like it. The place is run out of a small cottage-like house, and it feels like you're around at your grandparent's house for food and drink. It's also just a minutes walk from the Round Rock's actual Round Rock location, so you could kill two birds with one stone :) The people are really nice, and the Saltenas are great; they remind us of Pasties from our homeland of England. Think of them as a baked empanada. If you decide to have one, you have to wait 20 minutes for them, as they bake them there. Hint: They're worth the wait. My current fave thing to eat is their Spanish Cheesecake; light, fluffy, and creamy. So good! They also sell whole pies to go, so if you need to feed a crew, they got you. The Chocolate Cream and Coconut pies are legit! When they're busy, it can take a long time to get served. That'd be the only downside of the place. Go. Eat. Drink.
google avatar

Shradha A.

Yelp
Such a charming quaint spot. When was the last time you saw someone reading an actual newspaper? I loved the gluten-free poblano quiche and can't wait to return to try more items on the menu.

Patricia W.

Yelp
Finally after too many years driving by this spot, we stopped and enjoyed the most delicious lunch. The food was wonderful- fresh and full of rich flavors. We sat outside on the patio - blue skies and a perfect fall temperature. The service was excellent. We can't wait to come back soon. P. S. We ordered a pie for Thanksgiving ; )

Yelp
Love going to this place when in town A gem of a find ! Love the pies ! Peaceful and enjoyable vs loud megachain restaurants

Yelp
The place is so extremely cozy and cute. The service was wonderful. The food, desserts, and drinks were absolutely perfect. Love the environment and the food so much, definitely one of the best sandwiches I've ever had.

Yelp
Incredible, almost a secret! I was invited by a friend and I'm already planning my next visit. The service is fantastic, the food is gourmet and just the right amount. The Quiche Florentine was light and dense, smooth and crunchy, how can that be? The salad is delicious with a dressing that gives the veggies room to be themselves, vibrant. The strawberry rhubarb pie was the jewel in the crown. Took a meal home for the hubby and shared the piece of pie with him. The garden area is charming, and I want a small painting from the current works on display.

Yelp
Directions UPDATE: If approaching northbound (e.g., from McNeil) don't turn left onto Round Rock Ave., continue on the service drive toward Sam Bass Rd. Instead of turning left at the light, you can take the left turnaround to get onto the southbound side and take the next right (Sunset Drive, just past the bank) and one more right to get to it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think I was looking for pumpkin empanadas when I found it years ago, but I discovered something better--Bolivian salteñas. It's now one of my favortie food spots in Austin. As I've reduced the meat, I've appreciated the variety of vegetarian options on their menu. My favorite menu item is now the Huitlacoche Crêpe--a little spicy; a lot of tasty. ;) I still pick up a few frozen portobello mushroom salteñas to store in my freeze for a warm breakfast or a wholesome backup meal later in the week or month. I am looking forward to eating their side salad again, once these braces come off...one of the few salads I've ever ordered intentionally. The place is cute, bright and comfortable. I enjoy coming here to read a book outside after basketball or when I have an afternoon free, and it's also one of my go-to recommendations for a spot to have a nice convo with friends. I miss this amazing tiger painting they had up once, but the art on the walls is swapped out regularly. My palette continues to expand to want more savory things, but Papi's Pies pumpkin pie is still one of my favorite deserts of the fall and early winter. I also like their blackberry pie, apple pie, and cherry pies. I'm a fruit pie person, but I dislike most of the popular flavors, except apple. This place is amazing for that because they usually have at least three fruit pies, so I'm rarely out of luck if my sweet tooth is callin'. Their pie crust is light and a bit toasty. Most pumpkin pies are dominated by the taste of sugar, but their pumpkin pie is a standout for me because as an actual spiced pie. The consistency is on the thicker side, so it's a pretty satisfying slice too. One last thing: Don't know if they'll reinstate the bring your own containers policy with COVID actually still being a thing. It was a big win with me when they had this policy. My green heart wishes I wouldn't take out as often as I do; but at least they give you compostable, paper-based containers. Thanks, José! Other notes: * dog-friendly patio * quiet * neighborhood location with friendly patrons * They do have a few vegan options, but most of the vegetarian options have dairy and the meals, cheese. * the scoop on the main team is on the About page of their website

Yelp
Little hidden gem in Round Rock. You have to try it! But I'd recommend to go as early as possible as they get crowded and they are short-staffed. It took a while for us to get serviced and for the food to come out, but the staff and signs help us acknowledge that so I'm fine with it. The dishes are so tasty, so much better than they look! They look simple but has a magic to it. One of the staff even shared a little history and the way to eat of the Bolivian empanada, making us feel very welcomed. Food and drinks are in a pricier side, but I'd say it's worth it for once in a while European style chill brunch.
google avatar

Rob R.

Yelp
Come here with time to spare. Service is slow which I tend to enjoy. Quiches are good. Creamy with nice crust and served with salad, perfect little portion if you're after a light lunch. The teas are high quality though not loose leaf and served on a tray, the Earl Gray being my #1. Crepe with fruit is disappointing (batter is dry and watery, not chewy like I hoped for) but Nutella makes most things edible. The Bolivian owners are wonderful, and have included tasty salteñas to the menu - Get those if you'd like a savoury pastry. This place is tucked away with an adorable walkway and lots of artistic flair. Really cosy and enjoyable.
google avatar

Yelp
Adorable place with delicious food. Everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned. They were short on wait staff according to a sign but I couldn't tell. Staff was great and brought everything out quickly. Plenty of street parking that I could see.

Yelp
Such a CUUTEEEEE little place It reminds me of a restaurant in Claremont CA Fist time here Wish there was A bit more interaction with employees didn't really know what to order or good recommendations (Yes we did ask) Seems like a place everyone knows everyone? (Only reason I say this is because after we ordered the ppl behind us knew someone n who ever they had with them it was there first time , n they had a lot explained to them n how to eat what they ordered in a certain way)!? But in all will be back I love little spots like this Looks like a little house full of Charm n flavor !

Yelp
Delicious food, very cool environment, and extremely friendly staff. My cousin and I enjoyed everything about this sweet little hole-in the-wall. The poblano quiche was FABULOUS. Highly recommend trying it!

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't reviewed Papi's yet!! We live this place. It's our go to brunch spot. I always get the frittata lorraine and fruit crepe with Nutella to share with my two year old. We also love their hibiscus tea. We visited most recently for mothers day and Papi had roses for all the moms who came in. So sweet! It has indoor and outdoor seating. It's not a big place but we've never had to wait very long. It's a local family run place so just have some grace when you visit.

Yelp
I have been to this establishment more than once, however this review is specifically for my last visit here with Thing Two on June 24, 2021 for a Mommy and Me date. We ordered a few menu items and sat outside on our visit here. Quiche Lorraine- The dish was partially cold (warm on the top and cold in the middle). I am not adverse to eating cold quiche. However, my issue is that if the quiche is not freshly made and it is intended to be served a day after making it, then it should re heated through out. Croissant Choco- Thing Two ordered this and loved this item. It was filled with warm chocolate and the croissant was light and fluffy. Lavender Lemonade- This item was light and refreshing. There are only a few locations in the RR and ATX that serve this beverage, so it's always a treat to have this. Thing Two and I enjoyed our time here as it was nice to sit outside in the fresh air and let the calm breeze serve as a background element for a perfect day.

Yelp
Papi's Pies is a hidden gem! The interior is super homey and cozy, not to mention they keep their garden in peak condition. It's always photo ready. Personally, I love the mismatched look they have going on as it reminds me of family gatherings and my grandmother's dining room! The food is die for. I've been having the waffles for a few years now, and the crepes are absolutely delicious. My mother and sister always scarf down their quiches, so it's safe to say the enjoy them. The lavender lemonade is the best, and personally I wish they'd sell it separately so I could take some home as well Staff is super nice, not very chatty but that's nothing to complain about. They seem to be understaffed more often than not, but they always seem to make do. I'm looking forward to many more visits

Yelp
This is a small place so it can be a bit crowded. But we continue to go back. The food portions are great for the price and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Yelp
Great breakfast/brunch. Quaint space, wonderful staff and service, and oh my, what a fab slice of cherry pie.

Robin B.

Yelp
The food was pretty good, the location and space were super cute. The service was stellar and on top of our needs. I had the waffle, my husband had the quiche. The only downside was that it ended up being a pretty expensive breakfast.

Yelp
Stopped by this place while in around Rock after seeing the positive reviews. I enjoyed my time here - the owner and his grandchildren were very friendly and it was nice to support a local business. I got the Prosciutto quiche ($12.75) which I would rate 3/5. While I enjoyed the initial bites, it got very salty towards the later half. I think it could have benefitted from more tomato or less prosciutto to cut the saltiness. (I was very impressed with the amount of prosciutto though!). I was definitely full from this portion. My friends got the quiche poblano ($11.75) which they enjoyed a lot! They weren't completely full after this though. Both entrees came with a side of salad (arugula, tomato, other greens). We also ordered a chicken saltena ($6) because they ran out of beef. This was very understated and delicious! We also got the Spanish cheesecake and Key Lime pie. I'd rate the cheesecake 4/5 - I think I'm not a fan of that style of cheesecake because it was a bit too crumbly and eggy for me but that's just the style. The Key Lime pie was also 4/5 - tasty and not too sweet but the cream wasn't the best. While prices were a little high, it's understandable for this small shop in the Austin area. Also just to note, they were running out of a lot of pies while we were there, and didn't have salmon for quiche or beef for the saltena. They have indoor/outdoor area to eat, and a counter where you can order food to go. Overall, definitely a place to stop by and try if you're in the area and craving quiches and pies!

Yelp
Papi's pies is a hidden gem. I love this European style cafe with it's outdoor seating, and romantic ambiance. The food is great and the empanadas are to die for.

Yelp
Adorable Bolivian family running this super charming café, not an extensive menu by any means but the food is fresh and simple and tasty. Smoked salmon quiche and caprese salad both solid. Very cute patio seating. Perfect for a quiet bite.

Yelp
Been coming here ever since they opened and the food is amazing EVERY TIME. Everything they have is good. Best pies we have ever had. Guava and Passionfruit pies are always a favorite, and we just discovered a new favorite pie - lemon meringue. Mile high, perfect meringue just like my Grandma used to make. I can't say better because well, it's my Grandma. Saltena's are a truly unique experience and another favorite. Just today we tried some new menu items, ham and cheese crepes and caramel sauce crepes. Again, super, super good. We also love that everything is served on nice china plates. If you haven't been here yet, it's a must try. Everyone that runs Papi's Pies is kind and hospitable. This is hands down our favorite place to eat in Round Rock.

Yelp
This is the most adorably quaint cafe. The food is delicious. I had the ham and cheese crepes. The best crepe I've ever had. Of course, the pie is delectable. I had the cherry and had to force myself not to get a second slice!

Yelp
It's almost like eating in grandma's kitchen! Loved the cottage like atmosphere and excellent service. The food was delicious. The salad was the freshest I've eaten in a long time and the flan is to die for. I'll be back for lunch on the patio now that spring has finally arrived.

Yelp
Great food! Leisurely service in a wonderful setting. The music is easy. It's a great relaxing place for brunch... i kinda hate to post a review because I don't want this hidden gem to become "hot spot". On the other hand, you should check it out.

Yelp
Every time I visit this place I'm immediately put at ease and feel like I'm part of both the owners' family. They are super nice. Now, let's talk about the food! All of there food I've tasted here is so delicious. Although, I do have an affinity for their Quiche Lorraine. The crust is so flaky and you can tell right away that they make all their food from scratch! They offer an arrange of breakfast/brunch items, including croissant sandwiches, the tasty liege waffle and more. Oh! I also forgot to mention that when you order the quiche it comes with a side salad, that has a really light but awesome dressing. All in all, this is one of those places, if my one of my friends start talking about brunch, I automatically gravitate to this place.
