Quirky, independently owned Chinese‑Vietnamese bistro with hearty lunch combos, orange tofu, and house boba teas. A loyal local following keeps it humming; the owner’s playful menu notes add personality to this longtime southside fixture.

Google
I love this place. My go-to is their Curry fried Chicken. You can't find this dish in most places so that's why I'd like getting it here. But it's really good. This very last time I got it, I had to ask them to give me lemons. I highly recommend adding lemon juice to the fried rice and chili oil to spice it up. I've gotten this dish for years here and just recently they seem to have changed it up to curry to a different kind of curry and it's even better. I was too eager to eat. So sorry for the half eaten food. It's so good.

While the restaurant may not have the cleanest appearance, the service and food quality are great. It's the kind of hidden gem that's often talked about. The food had good flavor and tasted freshly made. We ordered off the lunch menu and the portions are generous.. come check it out.

Ok look. The food was amazing and authentic, just like the Reddit promised. I went during lunch and got the "pick two half-sized entrees" deal so that I could try multiple things. The lunch option came with rice and an egg roll, and I got the General Tso's Chricken and Chicken Lo Mein. Food was phenomenal, especially the General Tso's Chicken. The catch? The place looks and feels a bit run down. But what they lack in decorum they 100% make up for in food quality. I fully intend on returning for more of that General Tso's Chicken.

Google
Horrible customer service bad attitude! Horrible customer service and the food is okay but not worth the negative energy or experience the place stinks and is nasty , unsanitary and they hang up in your face instead of giving you a chance to order ur food

Google
This is my all time favorite restaurant!!! Love the Thai tea latte, Thai fresh rolls, steamed veggie dumplings, and Korean noodle bowl soup. Super friendly staff, and food always comes out quickly. Never had a problem here, and we come two or three times a month.

This place has amazing food- especially the fresh rolls and Singapore rice noodles. Definitely a hidden gem..

Google
Food was good, got chicken fried rice, orange chicken, spicy Ramen and crab ragoon, paid $56. The spicy Ramen could have used a little more seasoning on the Ramen. The chicken fried rice was really good. Waited about 10 min for the order to be ready so it was fast, Would return. The name of the restaurant is something else do when you pull up don't be loss your in the right place.

My wife and I have been following the owners of this restaurant for years now. First they owned Papa Chang, and then iPho, and now Panda Bandido. We've always loved their food and will follow them wherever they go for it. They have always been extremely kind to us, and have always been more than accomodating. Their spicy Korean noodle soup bowl is one of our favorites, along with their steamed veggies dumplings, Thai fresh rolls, and boba drinks.

Yelp
I haven't been in a couple months but I love this place! I always get crab Rangoon takeout and it's soo yummy here!! The guy that cashes me out every time is sweet! The time of day I go (right after I'm leaving a job it's right around the corner on my route home is slow, like 12-3pm so it's always empty and I get immediate service! So it's quiet and quick! Thanks yall! I'll order more soon!

Yelp
A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Quality food and big quantities. Only thing that went wrong was I asked for boba in my Thai tea and they forgot to add it. Otherwise, everything was delicious and I will be ordering here again!

Yelp
We got 5 catering dishes for work Asian-Pacific Islander heritage celebration: chicken Malaysian curry, beef Thai curry, pineapple crispy chicken, too fu Cantonese noodles, & spicy beef. They don't have specific catering menu. You no ok what u want & they can do it catering size for $40 a tray non-seafood, & $45/ tray for combo & seafood. All of the dishes were delicious! The curry's are my favorites. They are very tasty & about medium spicy level. The pineapple crispy chicken & tofu Cantonese noodles were a big hit, ppl loved them & I barely get any! The spicy beef was also very tasty. Our orders came with a tray of side fried rice & a tray of steamed rice. The service was great! The manager really worked with us on the menu. The entrees were ready as promised. They even gave the pick up person a boba tea at no charge.

Yelp
Great customer service. I've been looking for a boba spot and this place is minutes from my house. I found them on yelp and I'm glad I did food was good and I loved my mango, passion fruit smoothie w/ lychee jelly. I went back the next day and got a strawberry pineapple smoothie with pineapple jelly that was also really good.

Yelp
I always order the Beef Pho to go at Pappa Chang's and it always delivers! Food is good at least the few things I ordered from there. Service is ok, not the best and could be better.

Yelp
As an Asian, this place was absolutely horrible. Meat was dry. Nothing tasted right. People kept telling me it was authentic but there's nothing authentic about it. We ordered a couple dishes at work and I tried everyone's food. We all didn't like it.

Yelp
My favorite spot in Fort Worth for good Asian food. My wife and I love their egg drop soup here, soooo tasty. And the prices are good

Yelp
This place's food is good, but the service is terrible. I found some HAIR in my food, and the man at the front desk said that he would replace my food. When I come back in and he said he would write a note. When I finally came back for my food, the man act like he didn't know what I was talking about, but the funny thing is he remembered my name. Lastly, This place is terrible and overpriced.

Yelp
Absolutely love the food, boba, service, and people who work here! Must try foods: shrimp egg foo young (not a lot of places sell this so def try it out), pad kee mow (spicy flat rice noodles), & pork nasi goreng (indonesian fried rice & delish!). Must try bobas: taro smoothie, mango & strawberry smoothie, & cookies & cream smoothies!!! I've been a regular customer at this Malaysian Chinese family owned business since 2015 and everything is always exceptional! The food always hits the spot and I will come back for more!

Yelp
Now this the place we had pho, but the kids ordered other stuff and we had a couple appetizers. Since we already spoke about the place(I'll add a pic too) let derail the food. We had fried spring rolls , which made me believe they were giving me the real Vietnamese Cha Gio but no , they were just fried egg rolls... they were good but not what I wanted. The Lemon Pepper calamari were on the other hand very good! Right amount of salt, pepper and lime, although Zero spice , even though the menu says they add fresh jalapeños to it ... I still haven't found ones lime John's Salt n Pepper Calamari @ Pho What in Cedar Park (we miss you John!! Really). Son had pan fried dish that was amazing!!! The sauce was perfect, the noodles were crispy and it was packed with veggies and meat!! 100% recommend this dish. We took some home since it was super well served, and after two days it was still amazing. Daughter had a Chicken Yeriyaki (very safe) and that was honestly too sweet. Well served , full of crunchy veggies and plenty chicken, just tooooo sweet!!! Definitely a place to stop by and try other things!!! Menu is very packed.... Thanks again for the service. Team was awesome.

Yelp
For the area and the audience this is pretty good place. Got the chicken with veggies with rice and it was pretty solid. Portion sizes for me were large and the veggies were fresh and well cooked. I can't complain. There is a mini bar with veggies for pho and I think thats super awesome. Thanks for giving me a good meal!

Yelp
Ordered the crab ragoons and samosa and was very disappointed. They were small pieces and made out of the same dough. They should just take these two items off the menu and way over priced.

Onika W.

Yelp
I love it here papa c. Is so nice. I love the chicken pho without bean sprouts with extra jalapeños yessssss

Yelp
We thought they had gone out of business but we were so glad to discover they just moved to a shopping center on I-35/Berry St. This is a family run business who had a Chinese Malaysian restaurant in Arlington many years ago. The restaurant now is more of a simple take out place with primarily Chinese dishes and still a few Malaysian dishes. We especially recommend the flat noodle dish called Char Kueh Tiau, Singapore Rice Stick and Indonesian Fried Rice. Since we grew up close to Singapore, we know what is authentic and this restaurant does it right! They even have the popular Boba tea, apparently a favorite among some Mexican customers. Portions are generous and prices very cheap. They deliver the food themselves and have quite a few customers who live in our retirement center. Loanne

Yelp
Very good quality food and pho near TCU. I've been coming in weekly for years and I always have a great meal at a very reasonable price. I've never had the delivery service but I've had Consistently good service in the restaurant, every time.

Yelp
Place a order today to be deliver paid $37.62 for house Egg Foo Young which was a 45 minute delivery wait. Owner Charley deliver food was provided a $5.00 tip however sauce for Egg Foo Young was missing. Called restaurant at 2:06 pm and informed sauce was missing was informed they would deliver sauce in 15 minutes. It it 2:46 and no sauce the owner was very rude not helpful in resolving this matter hung up the phone on me multiple times. Per owner states he left sauce at information desk instead of making sure the sauce was delivered to me. Called number and states left cell phone. Owner then ask me to bring the food back to restaurant as I explain to him I'm at work and paid for food and a service which you failed to ensure what I paid for was delivered. Worst customer service ever will never spend my money or recommend anyone else to this restaurant. Would not refund me money or make the situation right.

Yelp
High-quality Asian food with big portions at a very affordable price. I am an especially big fan of the boba that they serve here!

Yelp
This place is awful. The guy who answers the phone is not only rude but hangs up on you for no reason.

Yelp
This is hands down one of the best Asian restaurants I have ever had! CB is very friendly, and has great suggestions of what to try. Each order is made fresh, and is so flavorful! Be sure to try the bacon wrapped chicken pieces, as well as the General Tso chicken with the sauce on the side. I thought they had closed down, but was delighted when I found them at there newer location on 35 and Berry at. Must try!

Yelp
Man this place used to be a cheap go to chinese spot when on Pennsylvania it declined when they moved to the TCU campus and now it's totally fallen apart. Got it via UBeR...after placing order and paying via UBeR they called to say the driver didn't have enough funding on their card...and then after paying a balance to them the food arrived and was soggy and lacked much taste.

Ava G.

Yelp
Super sweet staff! Had great conversation when picking up the food. Got the milk tea it was fantastic!

Yelp
I would recommend the Deluxe won ton soup or the ramen. The portion sizes are good, and they added jalapeños to my won ton soup for me :) The guy who answers the phone is hard to understand and gruff, but I got my ordered delivered in a timely manner. Prices are a little high for some things, but reasonable for others. Overall, a good place to get some Asian food.

Mitch S.

Yelp
I called at 2pm to ensure a delivery by 4pm as I had mouths to feed. Order was not delivered until 4:10pm. When I called to make inquiry, the person hung the phone up. Bad service. Horrible service. Not reliable.

Bruce F.

Yelp
I'm not sure what happened to these other people, but this is my go-to Asian food place in Fort Worth. You get exactly what you would expect from a take out place, which is good food. What else do you want?

B D.

Yelp
Super delicious very good service. They have old fashioned Chinese food and pho too. Great smoothies and boba as well. Love it

Sara F.

Yelp
I love Pappa Chang! We've always been greeted with a smile and left happy with the service and food. We were so bummed when we thought they'd closed, and were relieved to learn about the relocation; we had often called to check just in case!

Dee B.

Yelp
Used to go to their old location a couple of times a month for the buffet for several years. Found out they had to move and looked them up a their new location on Berry Street. Sad to say, no more buffet, but you can order some of the same dishes off the menu for $7.95 or $8.95 lunch price. Being able to have a little bit of everything from the buffet was the attraction for me and even though the food is still good, I may not take the drive down to TCU.

Yelp
I was on a business trip and was staying at Sheraton downtown. I wanted chinese delivered to the hotel after traveling for hours. I ordered from this restaurant and requested delivery. $2.50 delivery charge and I willingly tipped an additional $5 to the driver. Short of it, ordered a 2 item combo and received 1 item. Wanted to make I -pho aware. He denied the validity of this even after I offered to take a picture of the untouched food. He said that he would call back on his personal cell# so that I could send pic. He NEVER called back. I called him back to send the picture. He became so irate....understatement. I told him I didn't want another delivery, just wanted to make him aware. Mr. Boon Chuah tells me that it's only a $4 difference. And I quote him "You just want something for nothing!". I NEVER asked this man for anything. Just acknowledge that you screwed the order up. He then proceeded to hang up on me. I wrote this entire book to simply say, if you make an honest living and work hard for your money,......NEVER throw it away on ANY merchant that is too ignorant to appreciate your sacrafice..... Good Day Mr. Boon Chuah. May that bee in your bonnet be oneday removed.
