I would give zero stars if I could. I had an absolutely terrible experience with this establishment and their nonexistent customer service. ​On 12/12, I placed an order directly through their website. The transaction went through successfully, and my card was charged immediately. However, when I arrived at the restaurant to pick up my food, the doors were locked. There was a sign stating they were "closed for maintenance," yet their online ordering system was still active and taking people's money. I have called on three separate occasions to request a refund. Each time, I get the same response, they take my name and number and promise to call me back within the hour. I have yet to receive a single return call. It is clear there is no professional management in place, the place seems to be run entirely by students who have no authority or desire to resolve issues.I am now forced to go through the hassle of disputing the charge with my credit card provider just to get my money back for food I never received. To top it off, I've found that their "maintenance" was actually due to serious health code violations.Eat at your own risk. This place is unprofessional, unreliable, and potentially unsafe.

I’ve tried the original Paradise Biryani in Hyderabad, India, and this restaurant is supposed to be from the same chain. I ordered the goat and lamb biryani, and it was just okay—I’ve had better elsewhere. The mango lassi was good, and the carrot dessert was decent but nothing special. Prices are reasonable, but I wish they maintained the same quality as the parent restaurant in Hyderabad.

I've ordered chicken biryani thrice in the last 10 days since I was getting a great offer from UberEats . the first time I ordered biryani the rice was so bland it felt it like as if I eating just the plain cooked rice . The next time when I ordered again it was good as I mentioned double masala in the message to the restaurant column , btw I ordered it medium spicy it was okayish and today I ordered spicy with double masala with spicy . All I received was a flavored rice rather than a biryani rice which is very much flavorful . Not going to order it anymore if you're an Indian , specifically Hyderabadi wouldn't recommend their biryanis at all .

I ordered the Chicken Dum Biryani online today, and unfortunately it was very disappointing. It looks like plain white rice mixed with some yellow rice, with just two pieces of chicken and no real flavor. When I called to share my feedback, the response I received was simply “we’re sorry,” with no effort to address the issue. I told I am 30 miles away and she said come we will replace, question if why in first place serve such pathetic food. When I politely asked for the representative’s name, she seemed offended and questioned why I wanted it. This was quite frustrating. A restaurant carrying the name “Paradise Biryani Pointe” should live up to the standard of authentic, flavorful biryani. Sadly, this experience did not meet expectations at all. Never going back and not recommending.

This is authentic Hyderabadi biryani — not that North-Indian-style colored rice + zero flavor + boiled chicken piece that some restaurants in LA serve and still dare to call “biryani.” I honestly wish there were more places like Paradise Biryani Pointe in the LA area. If you’re eating “biryani” elsewhere in LA… sorry guys, that’s not real biryani. Try the Boneless Chicken Dum Biryani here and you’ll know the difference.

While decent in the past their quality of food has consistently dropped. It was our 3rd bad experience and was the last straw on 30th December night .We ordered a take our of dum ka murg and garlic naan. They handed us food, we paid and left. After coming home and starting to eat (we live a lill far) they had given us half cooked naan and ultra spicy chicken curry. We can eat spicy but that must have been a slip of entire packet of Laal Mirch powder. We had to throw away the food. But we had ordered dum ka murg so they gave us a wrong and inedible order. On 30th Dec night, that was sad! We were very frustrated our year ending was ruined. I called and told them the situation. At first they almost blamed me to come during a time when there was high rush. I told them this is unacceptable we had to throw away the food and want a refund. They said there is a different person who handles refunds, he has left for the day. They took my phone number and told will call next day to discuss refund. They never called. I didn’t either! Very disappointing service and bummer of a food on an important day. Never going back!

I tried their Irvine location. It was pretty new I tried their biryani and butter chicken it was delicious and the service was great. They said they have location in Artesia also So today I was around the area so I tried their Artesia location. The food was ok (but I like it better from Irvine especially butter chicken). But I wanna talk about the service it was terrible.The lady at the front desk talk very rudely. I will never go back to that location again.

I called them multiple times before placing the order to explain that we were visiting LA from Seattle and asked for recommendations on which items were good and tasty. Based on their suggestions, we ordered four different kinds of biryani and one appetizer. Unfortunately, none of the items were edible. The taste was terrible, the food felt unhygienic, and it did not seem safe to eat. We ended up throwing everything away. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. This was a very disappointing and unacceptable experience.

STOP SCROLLING!!! This is THE place!! Let me start with a rave about their service and attitude in our servers passing comment (we showed up 15 minutes before closing): "When a customer arrives, we stay open." BOOM!! That's a statement rarely heard today. On to absolutely DELICIOUS food. We make the drive for their Chicken 65 and Chilly Chicken. Add some garlic naan along with their yummy sauces (mint chutney, tamarind and yogurt) and it's a gastronomical delight. We've had many different dishes and they're ALL great. We just happen to have our favorite must haves and these are it. Bonus: the portions are enough for lunch the next day. From lunch to a date, it's good for all. Just the right size and always attentive servers. They even have a lunch buffet. Paradise - yes, you are - for ALWAYS excellent food.

The lamb dum biryani here is my absolute favorite. Super flavorful and the lamb is moist and tasty! I think about it all the time. The chicken dum biryani is also pretty good, but we got boneless so it was a bit on the drier side. Both biryanis come with two sauces on the side. Even at a level mild, the spice is deliciously noticeable. I've also tried the chettinad fish curry and both the plain and garlic naans. Everything tastes so good and I find myself craving it long after I've finished. Drinking water is given as sealed bottled water. Service is friendly and each time I've went there's been plenty of seating. The parking lot spaces are a bit tight and can get a bit crowded as it shares a smaller parking lot with many other businesses. Can't wait to come back again!

Ordered online for pick up. Chicken malia was dry and looked stale inside. Chicken drum were not cooked throughout. Service needs improvement.

This place became horrible.. just miss its old authenticity.. uber eats offers are there but they just serve plain tasteless biryani 1+1

Saturday dinner service seemed not too bad and there were many open tables. Started off with Punjabi samosas and a sweet tangy dipping sauce- potato stuffing not too spicy heat wise , flaky and still warm when served. Saag paneer was very delicious, with good depth of flavor without heat, and generous amounts of cubed farmers cheese, served with plain basmati rice. I got the lamb dum biryani dish, which came out really piping hot, with cubes boneless braised lamb- no gaminess at all. This dish was very spiced and am glad it had accompanying yogurt sauce to cool it down. They had run out of mango lassi so I tried a Bangalore style drink made with Nannari Sharbat: an Indian sarsaparilla type herb syrup with lots of citrus flavor - I felt it was overly sweet but the waiters supplied me with a couple of glasses of ice on request. The servings are meant for two or more people so I took home a lot of leftovers. I wish more places offered a sampler type of dish for single diners like me! Although it was slow, I did notice that some tables took a long time to be cleared and my own table had no napkins, but I just helped myself to the ones at the next table. Clean and quiet, just the right amount of lighting. Card payment at the table by card readers . Tips requested to be paid in cash.

We order Apollo fish here. It tastes good and fresh. We liked both this dish at paradise.

My husband's boss caters parties from here so i thought id check out what's so magical about this place. It's much nicer than most Indian joints. They just added punjabi samosa to the menu, had to try it because biryani is not part of my palette. Its beautifully presented on a bed of garnish consisting of cabbage, carrots, and cilantro. The garam masala overpowers the rest of the spices but honestly its not too bad. The staff is attentive, provide bottled water and serve with gloves on. In terms of the restroom, it's the nicest one ive seen and is pretty clean. My only wish is for them to add background music to lessen the sound of clanking dishes.

This place was terrible. The food tasted stale and like it was cooked the week before. The chicken inside of the biryani tasted like it was deep fried in batter before it was cooked with the rice, which is not authentic at all. The service was whatever and overall the vibes were just not good. I would not recommend this place at all.

This review is regarding a catering order. They have various catering options in a variety of tray sizes. They also have a set number of items on a per person basis and items for you to choose from vegetarian and non-vegetarian appetizers and main entrées and desserts. We ordered for a set number of people and customized the dishes to be all vegetarian. The food was very tasty, delivered hot and good quantities. I was a little skeptical because it was going to be based on set number of persons (their minimum order is for 25 persons), but there was enough for close to 30 guests. All our guests relished the food and we couldn't be happier!!

Paradise Biryani is my favorite. This location makes a spicier biryani than others I've been to in the past. I'm always excited to get my next lamb dum biryani!

Food was delicious. Very flavorful and heat was at the level we asked for. Place was clean and well ventilated. Service was prompt and server was friendly.

I had Gobi 67 and Lasuni Chicken Kabab. The items are over-spicy and less flavourful.

We tried the Irvine Spectrum Location and the food is Amazing! We highly recommend this restaurant. 5 Stars!

I am becoming increasingly disappointed with takeout and dining out experiences. The price of food has gone up considerably yet the level of service is decreasing. I tried this place for the first time looking to have a good curry. I ordered take out in person and spent more than $20 for curry and 1 Naan. I get home to find out that I was not given any rice. I called and was told that I needed to request the rice. For $22? Really? So now I am making my own rice........I can't attest to the quality of the food yet (my rice is still cooking) but if you get take out from this place be sure to ask for rice.

This is amazingly good Indian food, I don't care what some of these mixed reviews have to say. Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious and tasty and I will 100% be back much sooner than later. Here's what I ordered - everything was such high quality. Perfect amount of spiciness and flavor and not dry at all. $47 for a very bland favourless rice, for such a small quantity which they sell as VEGETABLE DUM BIRYANI - FAMILY PACK is really a scam. Lost respect for this Paradise franchise. There are many other restaurants which sell delicious, value for money food.

Take out order - Ordered one "Vijayawada Chicken Biryani". However they gave us Dum Chicken Biryani :/ We realized once we were home and the chicken was pretty dry Not a good experience

It was our first visit & will return for sure. Food is simply amazing, it is a beautiful restaurant which is spacious & clean. We went on saturday and it was really busy. Everything was perfect, Akanksha the manager was really helpful & kind!

If you're a fan of biryani, make sure to come here and get their goat and chicken dum Biryani! Damn! It's good!!! I got it packed and seriously I can't say no for it! The meat chunks were awesome and it's in the rite amount! The spices are so good and rich but not over, it's tend to be spicy but it's Biryani, a little kick of spicy ness should be there! Ohhh, if you come here ask for more raita, it's so good too!

Very nice Indian restaurant in Little India in Artesia. Staff are very nice and they have some nice and unique Indian dishes here (recommend the Tangadhi Chicken). Biryani is their specialty but the portions are huge. They also have your regular dishes you find at Indian restaurants such as Paneer Tikka Masala or Tandoori Chicken. Only real negative is the parking lot is very small and parking is very difficult here especially on a weekend evening. Overall, excellent Indian restaurant worth trying!

Stay away from this place. They scam you with pathetic food with stale meat and sell you the leftovers! I am looking for legal options to report to the authorities to check the quality and food safety. Indian restaurants are known for violating quality standards and this place is no exception. You order Briyani, they give you something that's not even an eatable food! Establishment with so low morals it screwed up my stomach. Not once by 3 times now.

The boneless chicken biryani here is good but you really need to specify the spice level as mild or medium because they sometimes overdo it.

We ordered first time from this restaurant biryani is good but chill garlic noodles was not up to standard Shahi ka tukada is spoiled we open the box and it's smelling

The service in the Artesia location was the worst ive ever encountered at a restaurant. The server acted like she was doing us a big favor by waiting on us. We never got our drinks till our main meal was over and even then had to go into the kitchen and remind the server. We also didnt get half our order until we were mostly done with our meal. The table next to us packed theirs as they got tired of waiting. The food is ok ( Birayani felt like it was just boiled rice with some boiled chicken thrown in last minute, the other curries were ok) but the service is horrible. If you care about service then Ashoka the great or the Indian Resturant on Pioneer blvd are much better options. They gave us stater brothers bottled water but didnt have the courtesy of providing cold water or glasses. Even with the soda they just gave us cans and no glasses or straws or even bothered to ask. We paid 5.50 for a lemonade which looked like it was a kids size drink in a disposable plastic cup ( looked pre-made though they claimed they were making it fresh and hence we had to wait for it). Wonder how people still keep coming back to this Resturant.

The food was amazing, and the ambience was great too. I really liked the tandoori chicken, and its flavors tasted really natural. The service was great too, and our food came pretty quick.

Paneer dum biryani and chicken dum biryani are amazing. Please inform them about spice requirements during the order else they would usually keep spice on the lower end. Service is amazing and staff is very helpful and courteous. We usually prefer a take out but this place has a nice ambiance. Parking might be a chalange during weekend as there are a couple of eateries in the block.

Picked up some food to go yesterday- chicken Biryani, Tangadi Chicken and Sukha Goat. Turned out to be horrible. It was covered with heavy dose of uncooked masala. We simply had to throw it away. Will never recommend to anyone.

So I have been here like three times and all the three times my experience has been very contrasting. The food was really good at the first visit, mediocre in second and quite unworthy in the last. I got the chicken dum biryani which has a nice authentic taste but between all my visits ,the quality of rice varied. I noticed basmati rice was kinda mixed with the normal one which doesn't boast about the quality ingredients. Also tried the paneer dum biryani which was utterly disappointing. It had the same fried paneer cubes used in paneer chilli that i ordered before which made it quite dry and inedible and not really authentic. It was more of a paneer chilli fried rice if that makes any sense. Moreover we ordered a lot and the dishes kept coming in at its pace but the table was never cleared even after asking them to clear the empty dishes. It was not a delightful experience. We also got the chettinad chicken curry which merely had two pieces of chicken, the quantity doesn't justify the price. The ambiance feels nice and the place is always buzzing but I won't recommend anything else here other than the special biryani they have on weekends if you like spicy food.

I've had meals from this Paradise location 3-4 times and the food is consistently good. I always get the Boneless Chicken Dum Biryani. In fact, I have a takeout order of it tonight and am impressed by the quantity of chicken and flavor in the dish! I agree with others that the service for dine-in could be better. The last time I ate in the restaurant I remember being surprised by the waiter's customer service or lack thereof. You can't find biryani like this elsewhere, so I still recommend them for the food.

Haven't had really good tasting Dum Biryani in a while but Paradise changed that. We ordered the goat dum biryani and Hyderabadi goat masala. The rice was so soft and the meat was cooked perfectly and was very tender. The spice levels were on point and our garlic naan was very soft. Now I know where I will order my biryanis from.

Read about how the chicken dum biryani was good. So we went to try it. I did ask for mild spicy cause I can't handle extreme spices. But what they served was just plain rice with dry chicken and half a boiled egg. There was no flavor to the food. I would just walk over to Anjapar next door and eat the food there. Waste of time and money. The hostess was not very friendly to the customers there although I did not interact with her. We also ordered the gobi Manchurian appetizer which came out super crispy. Overall I don't think I would recommend this place or go there again.

I've been coming to Paradise since before the pandemic and might I say, this place will always be my favorite Indian place! After our 4th visit we thought we wanted to try other neighboring places but nothing could beat Paradise. We've visited so many times that the owner recognizes us! Some suggestions for newcomers: the pepper marks next to each item means they are spicy - Garlic naan - paradise shrimp fry - Paradise boneless chicken biryani - Dum Gosht - chicken tiki masala (house special/very popular dish) -malai kofta -mango lassi (smoothie)

I ordered a paneer tikka masala and two garlic naans to go, and the total was $17.49. The spices in the paneer tikka masala dish were perfect, and not bland like at some of the other local Indian restaurants. The texture of the garlic naan was also good- not crunchy or hard, and instead soft but not soggy. A little pricier than I'm used to for Indian food but good, and the portions were definitely filling. I did not sit down in the restaurant so my review does not reflect service (I saw some other reviews describing slow service). I had called and asked how long it would take for my order to be ready for pickup, and was told it would take 20 minutes. I showed up after 20 minutes and my food was ready to go. So this review is based on the food only.

Former client already introduced me to this restaurant before COVID-19 and I'm thankful it's still there. Biryani staples still fantastic, same for Naan and roti sides plus my Mango Lassi. No complaints!

Ordered the egg biryanis and boneless chicken Biryani. Food was ok. That is where the positives end. Raita was watery and not cool. AC was broken so place was super stuffy and warm. The ice machine was broken so no ice water. Diet Coke and bottled water server room temp. Waiter looked like he just started working there and didn't care about anything. Would not recommend when there are so many better Indian options in the area.

We ordered cut mirchi bhajji for starters and paneer dum biryani for main course. Mirchi bhajji was yum, the filling was ultimate and i really liked it, paneer biryani was also tasty, they provide curd and salan with biryani, i really liked the food there, the quantity of curd with biryani was lil less, service is good. Nice staff Will definitely gonna visit again soon

Ordered to go today. When I got home, saw the 3 naans from my order were missing!! I should have probably checked, but you'd trust them to pack whatever was ordered. Lesson learned! When I call, no one picks up the phone, called 4 times already. I'm hoping the owner sees this and responds.

Quality is declining. Service is bad. Goat Biryani was bad . Would not buy it again . The best part of goat biryani was Raita and gravy.

I have ordered take out food from here about once or twice a month for the last 6 months. I have always order the same thing each time. However, Over time I have noticed the quality of the food has diminished drastically. This is very unfortunate. I decided to order the same thing I ordered from them but tried there competitor in the same plaza (Anjappar) and was pleasantly surprised. They blew Paradise Biryani our the water! I order the exact same thing and the quality and portion size was not even comparable. Anjappar is going to be my new spot for Goat Sukka, Mutton Dum Biriyani and Garlic Naan. The Garlic Nann from Paradise Biryani is actually very good. However, their goat sukka was basically a container of grease, sauce and almost no goat. They totally ripped me off last time I went there. ‍‍‍ Also the goat biriyani was light in the amount of goat as well. I would definitely order the garlic naan from them but nothing else or you may be upset if your order came out like mine did.

Got this order to go an hour away: Chicken vepudu: This was so good!!! There are spices marinated into the chicken so it's so flavorful and moist. The outside breading is very thin and prob has the same spices as the chicken marinade. I got it take out so it wasnt crispy but despite that it was really really good. To me this tastes like a chicken pakodi.

This is the best place! Their food is consistently good, unlike many other places in the area that taste different every time.. They also have a very perfect spice level when you tell them you have want it to be spicy very nice place

Terrible service, ok food. I came here for lunch, and the place had a typical lunch crowd, not overly busy. About half the tables were taken and there were two servers. I got seated pretty fast, and that was the best part. One of the servers came and handed me the menu, and just stood there waiting to take my order. Normally they leave the menu, allowing the customers a few minutes to decide before coming back to take the order. I guess the safest bet at this place would be to order biriyani, so I ordered goat buriyani and chai. He said they didn't have chai, so I went with mango lassi. The food came pretty fast, but the lassi needed 3-4 reminders. When the time came to pay, he selected No Tip without checking with me first, and then looked at me and asked me to give his tip in cash. As for the food, the Lassi was typical but the goat biriyani should be renamed rice biriyani with a very few tiny pieces of goat meat. Lousy service with an entitlement mindset.
