It was my first time here. We had a party of 9 the server was engaging and the bartenders were very attentive. I work in the hospitality industry and I pride my self in my own service. So when I see top notch service I must speak up! They have a house beer the “Paragon” it is Mexican style and is on par with Pacifico or Modelo. Definitely coming back. Thanks for having us guys!

Everyone found something they liked, and the food was excellent across the board. The service stood out—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We didn’t order many drinks, but even so, I was surprised at how reasonable the bill was for such a large group. Only downside: the bathroom could use a refresh. It’s what you’d expect in a neighborhood bar—functional but not the highlight of the visit. Would absolutely go back. Great experience overall, and I really appreciate the staff for helping make the day special.

The service here is great! However the food is ~okay. The truffle mac and cheese def needed more seasoning and didn't really taste like truffle. The wings were okay but also was missing "something". Everything else was good though. Loved the house made chips!

Consistently fantastic. Been coming here monthly for 3+ years now, literally never had a bad time. Owner regularly chats me and my wife/friends up. All of the staff have been here for a long time and are super helpful. Great atmosphere, food is consistently good, and they always have a big selection of beers on tap. Can't go wrong with paragon!

This is a great little neighborhood bar. They have a great HH $5 call drinks and wine plus other discounts on food and the like. Bartender was extremely attentive and I left my wallet on one of the couches and another employee found me and gave it back. So cool. Did karaoke on Tueday. Not sure if that's a thing every week or not. Would love to come back during the NFL season.

Came for Happy Hour. The Service- I liked it! Owner took the time to come over and introduce himself. The extra touch like this is always appreciated. The Food- Was going to order the cheeseburger and fries off the Happy Hour menu but the owner told me for the same price he would make me a delicious smashburger with fries and he delivered. Beer was nice and cold. When you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere and the vibe is friendly you should check it out.

Reserved this venue for my birthday celebration and all went smoothly and my guests had a great time and loved the food!!! There's ample parking and Allen and his staff were all great and very helpful!!!!

Stopped into Paragon to catch game 3 of the NLCS, and while my hometown Mets were a complete disappointment, Paragon was the exact opposite. The bartender/owner, Alan, was a friendly mensch who poured a good, stiff drink and made great conversation with everyone. The crowd was fun and lively, and all the food that came out of the kitchen smelled fantastic. I wasn't very hungry this time, so I only ordered an appetizer: cheeseburger egg-rolls. It's a good sized portion, and the wrappers are appropriately crispy; the house made fry/burger sauce on the side was also very good, although I would have liked a bit more spice to offset the mayo base. I ultimately added a little Tapatio hot sauce for some extra punch. My only real complaint is that the flavor of pickle was overwhelming the mildly seasoned beef and very mild cheese. A little less pickle would be great for me. I'm not deducting any stars for this, because it's a minor thing that's easily corrected if the majority wants it (and frankly, others might love it as is). I'll add that my last time here I had a burger that was absolutely top notch, with perfectly crispy fries. All the food seems to be great, and I'm looking forward to trying something else next time, which will probably be very soon.

Great Saturday and Sunday Breakfast Specials- During Football Season! Sunday open at 9:00 AM

One has to love the selection of beverages and especially the HAPPY HOUR!! 4pm to 7pm Monday through Friday!! My two favorite items to enjoy with my diet soda are the fresh veggie tray and the flatbread pizza!!!! I always get pepperoni and sausage and finish with a veggie tray The prices are perfect for a quick bite But if you want some far more extravagant and specialized?? They have prime roast dip sandwich and bbq pulled pork sandwich!! Come see the small plates! Taste the burger plates! And try the California chicken or rib eye!!! Parking is plentiful and free!

What a great find!!! So close to home and yet has never stopped by until a couple weeks ago. It was a Saturday night and it was surprisingly quite but the friendly bartender told us that usually there's events that bring in big crowds. We just so happened to go on a mellow night. No problem since they were playing the basketball game and had music playing. Plenty of seating and really clean. Everything was so delicious! We ordered a cranberry margarita and one other tequila drink. Both were crafted magnificently and tasted great without being overly sweet or weak on the booze. As for food we ordered the prime dip sandwich and the smash burger tacos. We didn't have high expectations but wow were these both good! We were really happy with the portions too. Highly recommend this place

Great burger, I had the BBQ & Blue cheese. Garlic fries are a good portion and garlicky. The menu is diverse, lots of options. Alan, the bartender is caring and friendly. Nice neighborhood vibe, clean and chill. Will definitely come back! It's a good spot to catch up with a friend or bring a group. They have a bunch of large TVs if you're looking to watch sports this is your place.

Absolutely, without a doubt, my favorite bar in the valley. It's lowkey, they have amazing food options (I love their calamari) and drinks, and weekly trivia. It's definitely not a bar for college students to party in, but they always have something fun going on. My boyfriend and I try to go to weekly trivia whenever we can, and the staff is always so kind and attentive and the trivia host, Walker, is super funny and sweet. My goal is to drink every drink on the menu at least once (not including beer). My boyfriend wants to try all the beers on their menu. I love that paragon is a family-owned business that supports local breweries, as well as carrying all other popular beers. I would highly recommend the X on the beach, tropical lifesaver, and the strawberry mojito for people that like their drinks sweet like juice! For those of you that like your drinks stronger, I'd recommend the candy fireball and the randells cocktail. For anyone not wanting an alcoholic beverage, I'd HIGHLY recommend a virgin mai tai. I love paragon and I am proud to be a loyal patron!!

I've actually been here many years ago for karaoke and drinks which was a blast.... Fast forward to now, it still was pretty great. This experience many years later we stopped off for dinner. It was still pretty early which wasn't that busy. But it did picked up within half an hour or so. The happy hour rush.... Menu, they have your basic sandwiches, salad, flatbread and so on. But it was quite good. We ordered a few items to share and was really good. The blue cheese burger, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The hot wings, of course you can't go wrong with that was also amazing. As well as the flatbread and sliders which we didn't know it was on happy hour. Sliders was amazing, cooked well and pretty meaty. And for 3.00 a piece, you can't go wrong with that. Happy house menu is limited on things but what they did offer was great. Drinks was great as well, pretty good selection on tap. Lastly, the service was really great. Bartender, amazing. The friendliest ever. Pretty cool place for catching up With some friends over drinks and food. More of a bar vibe versus a full restaurant but pretty chill and nice. Will be returning for sure.

I hosted a gathering at this place and it was a perfect venue to have a group of 12. The owner and his daughter (or server) was really nice. The food was really good. I had the meatloaf and I LOVED it. Felt like home cooking. Also another thing that I noticed about this place was that it was VERY clean. Don't let the strip mall fool you, this is a hidden gem. Thank you very much for taking care of our group.

This place has the best selection of drinks, food and the prices are very reasonable. I particularly liked the overall atmosphere of the place and the fact that they have plenty of TVs. The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive and you won't be leaving with a bad experience. I definitely found my new hangout spot and would highly recommend this bar.

Chill place with solid food and ambiance, always friendly service and they have multiple TVs showing sports or big events of the evening or day.

My first clue should have been the description on the menu "Ahi patty". Not a filet, not a ahi steak but rather a formed round patty of mush and a 1000+ sesame seeds. Due to the blackened sesame seeds that were completely incorporated in the patty it was brown and resembled nothing like a nice pink ahi filet. They describe it as seared rare. It was fricken BROWN with no appetizing color you would expect seared ahi to appear. It tasted like bait.

Went in to watch March Madness and was pleasantly surprised. Survive was good, food was delicious and overall very good experience. Had the prime rib dip sandwich and the Bbq bacon burger. Both were very good.

Went this place for the first time last weekend. I almost hate to give it 5 stars, because everyone will start going there. But that is what they deserve and what they need, new traffic as COVID almost closed this gen of a restaurant. Met Allan the owner, and Ladonna the bartender. (You can actually sit at the bar in pods.) Allan is the best. Very friendly and proud of the food he serves, based on his grandmother's recipes. On one hand, the menu is pretty casual. Burgers, Pizza, Sandwiches, and then you hit items like, truffle mac n cheese and crispy brussel sprouts! Brilliant. The best thing about the Paragon is the atmosphere. Allan makes the place fun and interacts with his customers. If you could imagine the Cheers Bar and Grill in the valley, it's like that. There is outdoor and limited indoor seating, along with seating at the fully stocked bar. Lot's of fun, great food, and wonderful management that deserves to have his business supported. I plan on having a favorite seat at the bar.

Big Al was awesome behind the bar and the food was excellent... 5 + stars... if I am ever back in California I will definitely stop here again to eat. i highly recommend it!!! The service was also great!

The food here is a really fantastic, as is the service. My wife and I eat here regularly. They have a house Mai Tai that I have to get every time. It's just a really great neighborhood vibe and place to grab a drink and dinner.

We went there a while back and while the food was good, the owner behind the bar seemed bent on making his political views known to others there. Big no no these days.

This is such a nice family business little location you don't have to worry abouthe problems or drama like you do of some of these dive bars. The owner Allen is usually there and he makes his rounds to make sure that all of the guests are happy! And how can you not be when he offers so many things such as Trivia nights, karaoke nights and more! This is not an ancient business by any means this is definitely 100% family owned. It has been here for under 10 years but it will be here for many years to come or so I hope. With the variety of seating options and excellent waiters are dangerous management and staff.... the service is fantastic! The food offers a wide variety from everything from Middle Eastern to American and offers items pretty much tapping into immaculate flavors from all 7 continents. It can be on the pricey side but the do have appetizers and usually happy hours. The hummus platter is very popular as are the burger sliders I recommend both and beyond This location can be kind of loud at times but it's also very chill other times and what I love the best is that it has really cool lounge areas with power chargers. It has a full bar you can choose to sit at instead and then there's a plethora of tables. Great place and always good to support family business!

I enjoyed what I had... the wings and the calamari, but I wouldn't get it again. The wings were good but kind of flavorless and the calamari was odd. The aïoli was good though. There wasn't enough staff and our poor waitress was taking care of the entire place. She was very sweet and helpful!

2.5 stars... This has been on my list for awhile, and just managed to get here... No drink specials so I ordered a local brew tall. It was hard to hear myself think as they were hosting a painting party with amplified PA system..annoying. Mushroom burger medium was on the radar, but the $13.50 burger didn't come with fries, so I had to give them a try ala carte... burger slid apart as the bun just wasn't up to the task. Fries had raw garlic and didn't quite live up to the hype. Ambiance is ghetto strip mall, prices were above expectation and food quality, and service was very spotty. This joint does not make the list..

Went for trivia night! Had a blast with trivia won 3rd place. Only reason why it really got any stars. Food was bleh. I def don't recommend the wings or French fries. The drinks weren't good. AT ALL!! Service was good though, the waitress was understanding when we said we didn't like the wings!

Dive bar atmosphere... food and service were good. The surrounding neighborhood was super quiet.

The food is 5 star hands down. The potato soup was rich and the artichoke dip had a nice heat to it. That being, the service is a 1. Although everyone was super friendly, including the owner who should be proud his establishment, our server was very slow and distracted. It turned our night out to support a local business into an exercise in patience. We were clearly having several beers, but had to wait too many times and for too long just to get another round. Our server wrote down the wrong burger, which happens, but brought my husband's soup at the end of the meal?! Who does that? Most of the time I watched our server chat with the bartender while our glasses sat empty. I last reviewed Paragon a few years ago and it will probably be another few until we return. The food is so good, but the service needs to be better.

I went to Paragon last night to see the band (theroyaldynamics.com). The venue is great, with a neighborhood/family feel. I had a Mai Tai because it was at the top of their drink menu and it was very tropical! The Ahi Poke was delicious too.

The food and drinks is always amazing. The owner, Alan, is always there and watching over the place to make sure everything is in tip top shape. They have plenty of big tvs and seating. The customer service is amazing and everybody is always friendly. No matter what you order it's gonna be delicious.

This was a nice little bar, prices are a little high but that's life these days! The Brussels sprouts with a side of the paprika aioli was so bomb! Kids can go in and site a tables with you! They have many tvs to watch the football games on. They have 2 cute little booth area with a bar game which was cool!! Great atmosphere!

I like this spot and it's so close where I work. Their food is good! I love their flat breads, this time I tried the combo and it was delicious! Their wings what can I say delicious.!!!! They also make good chocolate Martinis! Really recommend this place!

I came here tonight for Trivia Night and it was so fun! I've been here before with some friends on Karaoke nights. They are on Friday nights starting at 9pm. They have Trivia Night every Thursday at 8:30pm. You can have as many people in your group and make up team names to your liking. I'm not sure if they had happy hour at that time but we only bought one beer each so that we can support the restaurant. I came with my brother and sister because we are avid Trivia goers but we really do suck at the trivia. But it's really fun to test your knowledge and, hey you'll learn something new! We ordered the garlic fries and they were gone in an instant. They do have a great variety of cocktails and food. I personally like the appetizers because they are fairly bigger than the normal appetizers. You can order them for about 3-4 people if you're planning on sharing. They have great hours and happy hour specials. The area is roomy, as they have couches in the back. They also show football and any other sports in the tv.

We love this place!! Family owned and run bar and grill. The food is so tasty and the cocktails are great! The ambiance is nice and suitable for families and kids. We have been several times and have always had great service. We will definitely go back!

We were looking for somewhere to watch the game and this place did not disappoint. Great food, clean, not too loud, good drinks and friendly staff, we felt like a local.

Last night was our first time. Food was excellent and service was too. We had a party of 17 and everything was perfect. will be back.

We never got the food it had taken over 30min already and as soon as I asked the lady what happened she wanted to say a smart comment about it so my husband just said to cancel it . And no matter how many smiles your service takes you can feel the vibe. I felt like We was discriminated. To say the least .

If I could give a zero I would. On Tuesday I went to karaoke night, as usual I ordered my regular drink, Grey Goose and cramberry. The first one was perfect then I got my second one and it was too sweet for me. I asked the bar tender/owner for another one and explained him that it was too sweet and I wanted less cranberry in my drink. His answer was " he was not going to play my game". I didn't understand what he was talking about, since I have never asked him to re made my drink, but he got upset and was very rude. He treated me like I was asking for a free drink when I didn't care if he wanted to charge me for the new and the old drink. All I wanted was less cranberry in it. I was a regular on karaoke nights and usually I always bring in friends with me. I believe in supporting small business but this bar tender/owner has a nasty attitude. If he keeps treating customers like that without no reason, he is going to kill whatever he has left from his business. He is making customers walk away from his stablisment with his rudeness and the only reason why people comes in to this place is because of karaoke nights. Oh if I mention food... it is bad. The fish and chips is the worst. It has a horrible smell and watering breading. It is the worst thing you can order. So save your money and time. Hopefully the owner takes some customers service experience classes so he can serve customers better and provide them with an xcellent experience. Excellent Customer experience = Returning customer = $$$$

Allen, the owner, is has vast experience in the food and bar business, long before opening Paragon (met him years ago when he was working at another establishment, which he left when new owners took over and they eventually drove it into the ground unfortunately because it was a great place), and that experience translates to good service, good food, and pleasing the customers. Lots of TV's, nice variety of beer, and tasty food options. I don't live near but whenever I'm heading in that direction on the way home, I'll stop in when I can. You should as well.

The food is excellent, the karaoke and host are a blast and the customers are fun! Also, plenty of parking.

Bad ass happy hour burger! Free Wi-Fi! Drinks are solidly rock my world. Burgers are Def badass! Did I mention the burgers? The fries are epically bad ass too! Waaay cool spot for fud!

The food here was delicious! The sliders were my favorite. It was the grilled onions for me. The poke had really good flavor, but for some reason it was missing the avocado? We devoured it so we didn't even notice until later. So no compliant from us. We tried the Brussels sprout - I would definitely order again. The calamari & artichoke hearts were pretty good. Garlic fries- just as it sounds if you think it too much garlic than you shouldn't be ordering garlic fries.. note, they doesn't travel well so by the time we got home they were a bit soggy. So pop open your favorite beer and order some food from here to bring the bar experience home. They offer delivery. We ordered over the phone and pick it up. Fast and friendly.

The paragon is a gem in the valley. It's been there since 2014. The food is great. I recommend their burgers and poké. The drinks and beers are great. I really love the ambiance. They have karaoke and trivia nights during the week and weekends. Love this place

food was fair.Server was great at bussing the table and taking order.Drinks ok ,beer was cold. The restrooms is something else,no soap,no paper towel to dispense,and not clean at all.
