lovely place to go for a nice connection with nature. Animals are very well cared and you have a lot of them to see. Multiple options of locomotion are available to rent for couples, families or even a group of friends.

My visit to Parc naturel régional de la Brenne was a captivating immersion into the beauty of the natural world. From the moment I entered the park, I was greeted by a pristine landscape of sprawling wetlands, tranquil lakes, and picturesque meadows. The abundance of flora and fauna was astounding, with diverse bird species, rare plants, and enchanting wildlife that seemed to thrive in this protected sanctuary. Exploring the park's numerous walking trails allowed me to fully appreciate the serenity and biodiversity of the region. The informative visitor centers and knowledgeable guides provided valuable insights into the park's conservation efforts, fostering a deep sense of appreciation for the delicate balance between human activities and nature. Parc naturel régional de la Brenne is a haven for nature lovers, offering a chance to reconnect with the beauty of the natural world and understand the importance of preserving it for future generations.

Not easy to navigate though pretty. The nature centre closed at 12.30 for two hours. We saw three types of heron and the pond turtle.

Hard to describe this one. It seems to have a little bit of everything except mountains! It feels like the remotest place I've been to in France. Lots of good fishing, cycling and food. The walking also looked pretty good and some amazing wildlife. I saw snakes, frogs, eagles, hares and a variety of other things. Also, at night the star cover is amazing.

Great place to camp, lake really shallow so safe for kids. Older lady in booking office possibly the rudest, most unhelpful person I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The young English girl was so much more helpful.

Came here for a holiday, the people are so kind and helpful, the countryside and lakes are amazing. We bought a house and moved here. We now have a wonderful life in a wonderful little hamlet.

Lovely area for a holiday away from the crowds. Charming villages, some beautiful chateaux (Guillaume) and endless greenery along quiet lanes for cycling (all very flat).
