I visited store around 7 PM to purchase some cake slices. Usually, trays are available, but they weren't in their usual place. When I asked the manager, I was told to request one from the cashier. While waiting, I noticed the trays had been put away. The cashier stated they needed to clean up before closing, even though it was only 7 PM, and the store closes at 10 PM. He suggested I use my hands to take the cakes, which was unprofessional and gave the impression he was more focused on finishing his shift than providing good service. I bought two cake slices and a Lemon Supreme Round Croissant. Previously, the croissant was placed in a cake box due to its creamy exterior. This time, the staff tried to put it in a paper bag, unsuitable for such an item. When I complained, he held the croissant out to me and said I needed to put it in a cake box myself, showing reluctance to assist. This experience was disappointing and unprofessional. The staff's behavior and reluctance to assist properly were disheartening. This store used to be my favorite, but such service makes me hesitant to return. Please train your staff appropriately.

Today, it’s getting better?…hopefully1 I’ve read recent reviews but they don’t know when the Koreans were here…it was beautiful, sparkling clean, and the necessary things for your coffee was always replenished (types of sugar, milks) after they left a bunch of lazy or dirty people was hired… place looked disgusting… but today seems ok … I hope it goes back to what it was if not at least hired people who don’t mind basic cleaning. My hazelnut coffee and coffee donut😂 was delicious

Wow! I walked past this place hundreds of times, always admiring through the window, the delicious looking pastries they had on display. When I finally walked inside for a cup of coffee and looked closely at all the pastries and danish and cakes, I was shocked at how inexpensive they were priced! I asked if there was a sale on, and was told nope, those are our regular prices. Along with my fantastic cup of coffee , I ended up buying a box full of pastries, a couple of sandwiches on fresh baked bread, and even a couple of croissants.. so I admit, I am not normally a consumer of croissants, and this may be the first time I ever used that word in a sentence. Nevertheless, I can say with absolute confidence the food, desserts, bread, pastries and coffee there are all fresh, delicious and of the highest quality. They are served by a bunch of friendly, smiling staff as good-looking is some of the pastries. They were all priced fairly competitively, if not an outright bargain. For anyone who has not ventured inside one of these stores, I strongly encourage you to do so once, and you'll instantly become a regular as have I. This store, located on Broadway btwn West 96 and 97, is so easy to get to, just steps away from the MTA Subway's 1/2/3 96th Street Station, as well as the MTA's M96 and M104 bus stops. I usually get croissants or pastries from them, but decided to try their sandwiches. Bought the turkey avocado and was pleasantly surprised at how fresh it tasted as the bread was still soft. Great place to stop by for a quick breakfast or lunch option.

I love love love this store! I’ve been coming here for about 2 years now. I am a bus operator on the M96 line. I come here almost everyday to grab my coffee and a baked good. The staff here is amazing. They remember my order by heart and always try to be sure I’m pleased before leaving the store. Alex is such a friendly warm hearted manager for this store. He keeps order and is productive always. James makes my coffee and my mango smoothies and is so serious about getting it right lol. Alexey is so friendly and is always keeping stock on the shelves. Marvin no longer works for the company but he’s truly missed. The atmosphere is so warm and calm. I’m never stop coming to this location as long as the staff remains the same. :)

The staff is absolutely fantastic. Everyone is very friendly and provide an excellent client experience. It’s easy to see the managers Troy and Alexi train their staff well and spend the necessary time developing their skills. Lexie is a Devine sales advisor who always greets customers with the warmest smile.

I got the fruit fruit bite pastries , cherry cheese danish with raspberry, and croissant crisp with raspberry. So good I come here all the time and they never fail. All there bakery goods and sweets are great

I stopped by this bakery earlier today to buy some pastries for my family. My nephew loves berries so I bought the Berry tart for him, and I also bought the pumpkin cream donut and one of the Halloween donuts with cookies and cream filling. The berry tarts are always good and pricey ($9.19). However, my nephew deserved a treat so I got it. He was so excited. The pumpkin king cream donut was good; it reminded me of the Boston cream donut from dunkin donuts but with pumpkin custard instead of vanilla and the donut texture was similar as well. The Halloween scream donut was okay. I wouldn't buy it again. Overall, the desserts were nice. I enjoy buying the parties at this location because they display the pastries well and they aren't squished or anything. They are decorated well. The service was exceptional. One of the store staff placed each of the desserts in its own box so they wouldn't be squished and he was very helpful and nice. I'm looking forward to stopping by again to try other items.

Paris baguette has a beautiful display of cakes when you walk in and the pastry case is beautiful as well. Very clean location and the staff is polite. My favorite cake is the strawberry cream cake and the tiramisu. We get it for almost every occasion. I tried the crab meat croquette. The outside is crispy. Good bread to filling ratio. The filling is a little sweet but I guess most crab fillings are. It was good. The Cronut was my favorite. There was a cream Filling that I was not aware of but made it twenty times better. The orange taste is refreshing. Definitely a good place to stop by and get pastries. I find then reasonably priced especially since the pastries are big!

I was asked to email details of my experience, so I did. 3 weeks later, no response. I don't understand the reason why they ask us to take the time to email them if they are not even going to respond...

I came in to get a coffee and I got hypnotized by all the wonderful croissant pastries! Very nice staff ! Blueberry cheese croissant looked very beautiful (I got it!) and I picked up a chocolate croissant for my neighbor & A small coffee to go . Next time I'd like to stay at one of the tables!! Great service, tidy shop filled with the most beautiful pastries, and cakes!

So I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I guess in a city where you see a bunch of these, it's easy to just write it off. But I decided to give it a whirl, I was sick of pretty much everything in the hood anyway haha. So I like their self service pastry bar. Their cheese danish was probably among the best I've ever had. And their pain au chocolat (differs from the chocolate croissant...you'll see when you go), it rivals that of Pain Quotidien. They have cold brew, and it's strongity strong strong. So much so I need to get extra cream And extra sweetener ... but it does the trick. The staff was great, especially with me because I'd never been there before and I had a bunch of questions haha.

Yes its a chain, there's a bunch of them sprinkled around the city but the quality is there. The serve yourself bakery has so much to choose from, don't go there hungry. The pastries are delicious, the croissants are real- buttery, flaky and addictive. The cakes are amazing. If you want to impress your guests or be a favorite at a dinner party, grab a chocolate cake or chocoholic Chiffon, for coffee lovers: Capuccino cake, Mocha cake or tiramisu and enjoy the desert. The coffees are great. The premade sandwiches and salads are spot on. It's pricey but worth it. Can't compare to the crap they sell at Starbucks or other chains. It's good. Personal favs: chocolate ganache cake, rich and decadent, a tiny slice will fill your chocolate addiction. Mixed berry tarts are beautiful and look truly amazing on the table. Mango salad with chicken is a healthy option. Mini croissant with lemon cream and fresh strawberry is like floating on a cloud. I want one right now. Actually two :)

Oh their desserts are so yummy. It always hard to make a decision here here. Hubby wanted something sweet and finally honed in on a raspberry cream cheese danish. It smelled heavenly. He said it was light, buttery, flaky and flavorful. He's happy!

I'm a fan of Paris Baguette's cakes and other items in general. This is place is very clean and spacious. With more seatings in the back. Tried couple items both sweet and savory: Coconut mango cake tart slice: loaded with fresh mango chunks, very refreshing, mixed with light and fluffy whipped cream. Didn't get much of coconut flavor though. Tiramisu piece: loved the mascarpone layers - very light and flavorful and delicious. Topped with some fresh raspberries - great touch for a summer treat! Wish the cake layers are more moist. Hash brown bread: very interesting concept of carb on carb lol. I actually quite enjoyed it! A thick layer of hash brown topped with a slice of cheese and a slice of ham. The bread is soft and very flavorful. Crab croquette: was bit disappointed with this one - wish there's more filling (especially crab) inside, and also the texture is not my thing (it's bit dry for me, but maybe that's just how croquette is supposed to be and I'm just a croquette person lol)

Super crowded in the morning. Staff was kind. Small and no place to really sit. It's definitely a place for desserts and small breads when you're on the go. Cakes and pastries were decent. Tight space.

Great items but service is on the slow side. I like the big dining space but the stools tend to have a lot of people hogging up the counter space

I love the pastries, but I can't go here anymore. The coffee is always, always cold. I've been here six times in the last two months and never once got a hot coffee. I've always had to complain and wait for 10 minutes for a new one. When I get the new coffee, it's always scalding hot and overfull. The staff is well meaning and eager to please but they are just not properly equipped. The place is no longer clean and is starting to look tired. It's a pity. I can't go back.

Someone said fancy? This is by far the best bakery uptown. If you want delicious bakery goods i highly recommend you to visit this place. Its fancy and affordable yall! Very rare. If i have something negative to say is that the employees are not very helpful and the hispanic people in the kitchen have a bad tendency to make fun of customers (yes i know spanish i know exactly what yall were saying) but beyond this little issue i give the bakery 10/10 and 2/10 customer service

Could not ask for a better breakfast in New York. Paris Baguette was recommended and I can say we enjoyed it a lot. Their prices were fare and the quality was excellent. We live in Florida and We always crave for pastries that are not too sweet. Their pastries were as sweet as we wanted and it reminded my hometown pastries. I highly recommend their coffee and beautiful view they have and the second floor to enjoy your break and watching Beautiful New York. Enjoy

French and Asian inspired pastries to chow down on. Croissants, muffins, baguettes, cake, puff pastries, Ohhhh Myyyyy! Hot and cold coffee drinks. Some seating and it depends on location how much is available. No wifi though? It's 2019, what's with no wifi? Kind of like a mini-pasty/coffee house chain around the city. There is a new one that also opened up on the UES near 86th and Lex. Decent staff that was helpful and friendly. OK pricing.

Unfriendly and unsanitary Cashier used same gloves to handle cash register and payment and then touched my pastry. Other worker prepare drinks with no gloves and dirty long nails. Resting his hands on my latte Lid as he prepares my hot chocolate.

Our destination stop every Sunday after Church. Sometimes, we take out. They have a variety of pastries, from meat and eggs breakfast products ones to sweet mini tarts. We tried the Mini Hot Dogs, Egg Toast, Chocolate Croissant, Fruit Tarts, Raisins Twists, Almond Croissant. There is also a refrigerated area with Sandwiches, Salads. Cakes are available to go. Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, Juices, Cold Drinks, are available

I love Paris Baguette and I'm so grateful there's one literally minutes away from my home. They have a great selection of different pastries and cakes, but my personal favorite is the strawberry soft cream cake as I always order a slice whenever I stop by. During the past few times I came here, service was always excellent and staffs were very friendly. I always look forward to coming back here.

They're always very, very slow. Takes forever to check out one customer. They also close earlier than the stated closing time, which makes it very inconvenient for my schedule.

Most of their pastries are good, but avoid the matcha croissant. It is super bitter from excessive amount of matcha

They must have really revamped their customer service since the last reviews were written because everyone was super nice. We were greeted upon entering and the cashier was really friendly. They have indoor seating available as long as you're willing to fill out a contact-tracing form and get your temperature taken. All the pastries are prepackaged now due to COVID guidelines. But everything tasted light and fresh, up to typical Paris Baguette standards. Next time I'm going to try one of their breakfast sandwiches because they looked so tasty. I will definitely return in the near future!

Great place for pastries that infuse both Asian and French styles! I stop by here once and awhile to grab a pastry since I live nearby. I particularly like the back seating area which is never packed! So if you're looking for an alternative place to get work done or study from Starbucks then I'd recommend dropping in here

Great coffees and pastries. Staff is nice but WAY understaffed so the line is often long.

Upon entry the staff was friendly and greeted us. They offered their personal support and opinions on what to get based on our individual likings. Moreover, the staff even gave us a friendly wave off as we left. Management and employment is run pretty effectively here. I highly recommend getting any breakfast pastry that they serve. To that point, their croissant's are airy with the perfect light sense on crunch with what ever respected filling they have inside of them. My personal favorite was the Bavarian creme filling. The croquettes are good, especially when they are warmed up, but in the sense of traditional croquettes; the top layer of the bread is thicker than what French culture allows (don't let this take away from the deliciousness though(it just makes for for a heavier entree)). Also, if you don't want a pastry, they offer a delicious and nutritious honey chicken baguette sub. Ask them to warm it up and you will be hooked asking for more. Lastly, the brew of coffee we had tasted burnt as I think they grinder their beans a little too fine, so I don't see myself ordering coffee again. All in all, I will be a repeat customer here for breakfast pastries and toasted subs.

Love this place, best pastries ever. Their donuts are pretty good, I like donuts that are soft. They have the best ones. When it comes to sugar they have a pretty good balance, their pastries are not too sweet and I love that about them. Will forever be my favorite bakery in nyc.

This is my last time with them I have been shopping there for years first time one employee stoped me and told me "cannot walk in with my dogs " I am shocked I canceled my order because of the employee and decide never buy anything even other branches

So so great! We needed a cake for my dad's birthday in a pinch and we are so happy we went here. First, the staff was super friendly and kind and went above and beyond with the candles and cake messages. The cake itself was super yummy and we were all pleased. Moist. Fluffy. Fresh. Tasty. Dad was super happy. Definitely recommend Paris Baguette!

Visited this outlet at about 8:55pm last night (March 22) with a friend after dinner to have coffee. It was supposed to close only at 10pm. But the male counter staff didn't allow us to be seated inside, and only agreed when I said we would sit at the outermost table. After placing our orders, the same counter staff also refused to let me use the restroom, claiming it was already closed for cleaning, citing the so-called "company policy". I had to quickly rush outside and look for another place with a restroom, and there was none nearby. When I returned and told the same coutner staff that I really needed to use the restroom and that I would like to talk to his supervisor to ask about the "company policy" preventing patrons from using the restroom, he finally reluctantly allowed me to enter, after the cleaner confirmed that it was not yet cleaned. Why didn't the counter staff lie to a patron who obviously had to urgently use the bathroom? Later, he chased my friend and I out at 9:30pm, half an hour before the official closing time at 10pm. This is absolutely the worst Paris Baguette outlet I ever visited.

When I saw the Yelp rating for this Paris Baguette, I was surprised that it only had 3 stars. I'm a big fan of Paris Baguette's pastries, and all the locations I have been to were clean and nice. After visiting this location, I can see why some people gave it a low rating. I would give it a 5 for the pastries and drinks they sell and 3 for the service. Their pastries and cake are delicious as expected. If you like croissants, fruit filled croissants, savory pastries, and cake topped with fresh cream, this is the place for you. They also have cafe drinks to go with your pastries. There are plenty of seats in the back and a restroom. It's a nice place to sit and do your work, but be aware that they don't have a wi-fi of their own. (I used the Xfinity Wifi.) During their busy hours in the morning, the service tends to be a bit slow. If you are in a rush to grab and go, you may feel frustrated. If you are planning on staying in the store to chill for a bit, it's not too bad of a wait. Overall, great food and great space, despite the slowly service during the busy hours.

I wish I had found something I didn't like here The Very Berry Croissant is seasonal. GET ONE!!! It is lemony and berries and only slightly sweet. Perfection! There is also a Tiramisu Donut that I fell in love with. It is like chocolate gravy over biscuits with coffee, all in one!

Services sucks. Nothing more to say. It's so hot inside there's no AC inside I am sweating and no one is here at the cashier to help us pay. This is the worst PB store in NYC. And on top of it there was no 'sorry to make you wait' and I was over charged so we had to correct the price after. Seriously you need to hire someone better to do cashier. I like the baked goods here, I got almond bread

This place has really strong iced coffee. The baked goods are really delicious but a little to heavy for me.

I'm giving three stars for the location, because the one in Queens is sooo much better. This one is smaller, they don't have really big selection like the Queens location. Also it's not as pleasant either. I mean the staff just wasn't inviting. Although the lady at the register did help me with my questions and showed me some attention, I'd prefer another location

Lots of baked stuff, certainly not for the diet-conscious. The prices are high, but the orange croissant doughnut was indescribably delicious, and washing it down with an iced latte was perfect on this hot summer day. It's clean and neat, but definitely shows its Asian flair. The price tag for a medium iced latte and donut was over $10, so be prepared!

This place has the worst service through DoorDash. It is a hit or miss getting a correct order. Today I received a burnt croissant with filling and strawberries. The lemon filled strawberry croissant was not available so it was subbed by a raspberry croissant and some fruit pastry with kiwi (I'm severely allergic to kiwi). I think this was my last try with this location.

I'm super fan of Paris baguette. This store used to be closed to my workplace. Which I went there every day again every day... Since they change the stuff. (over a year or 2 years ago) That's make many people start to complain. I never complain any restaurant or any store before. But here, customer service is Terrible !!!!!!!!!! (Don't guess about summer is high temperature for them) Do not work if you're not ready to service. Even smile or say hi...!! I'm not the picky person But the way they act was so bad. Ex. you ask for the item didn't not show in shelf. Just make sure your product ran out. They gave me the answer like I'm going to bother them. I give up for this location for long time. But today I have no choice I have no surprise about their service again or their attitude. You can check my point how many times I went to Paris baguette because your product is super fantastic I never use your reward on app for free or your calendar that I got every years more 3-4 calendars per year. This is mean I alway spend the big money for Paris baguette. No matter what I will support you for another location

I have always loved Paris Baguette for so many years. But this is the only branch that their employees doesn't listen to their customer. I told the staff I wanted almond milk for my coffee, she asked me again after 5 min. I reminded her that i wanted my beverage hot not cold. I was in a hurry at the time so I wasn't able to protest about the mishap. So disappointing and sad.

Paris baguette food is always so disappointing. Also, the workers always wear the same dirty gloves they use while handling money....

Will I stop in tomorrow and get a croissant? Probably. But really all you need to know is, this is the type of place that will take the large, beautiful, chocolate twist puff pastry you just bought for 5 bucks and BREAK IT IN HALF in order to fit it in the bag. WHY!!?? It was so beautiful!! Let the head poke out of the bag!! I cant. Anyway, this perfectly exemplifies the thought and care of the staff here. Beware of large pastries.

The line was incredibly long. The Manager and the Cashier were having a bad day. But I had time to kill. A ham and cheese baguette, a pastry, and a beverage was OK priced. There was plenty of seating. The food was not stand out. I could have had the same setup at a Starbucks and been semi-satisfied. The bread stiff and wet. The pastry was a bit tough. The drink was warm with ice in it. But the meal was worth not getting on the rush hour train. Its only saving grace. I wouldn't return unless I was caught in the rain, and had to walk in. Merci.

I really liked the ambiance of the place. The selection of paatries and viennoisere items were vast. Caught a glimpse of a few chefs cutting up strabwerries. Ordered a cappuccino. The coffee was OK. Every barista is different but I had too much foam. Will come here again. First time visit to thia company.

Stopped hear for dessert one evening. Tried the tiramisu and thought it was the perfect amount of sweetness to end the night. Was nice to sit outside and enjoy the neighborhood at a quieter hour.
