"A beautiful mock-Tudor house built in Paris and reassembled in an idyllic parkland location; enjoy a drink on the terrace while watching the deer. The seasonal tasting menu offers sophisticated, artfully presented dishes with creative texture and flavour combinations and subtle Asian influences." - Michelin Inspector

We enjoyed a wonderful 6 course winter tasting menu. Each course was delicious and presented beautifully. In particular, the scallop, venison and rhubarb croissant dessert courses stood out. The latter was unlike anything I have had before and was both spectacular and surprising! In addition to the food, Paris House is very uniquely situated in a deer park, which adds to the ambience. It was wonderful to come up the entrance drive and see the deer in the park. I would highly recommend the restaurant, it's perfect for a special occasion!

We had the absolute pleasure of enjoying an intimate dining experience at the Chef’s table before Christmas. The level of service was superb and made for an unforgettable lunch. Thank you to all the staff for taking the time to sit with us and explain dishes and describes wines and basically answer all our obscure questions. Driving through the Woburn estate sets the tone for a wonderful event and being taken down into the kitchen was really a special experience. Thank you to all the amazing staff members, you really are ambassadors for a stand out venue.

Thank you for the meal — there were some highlights, and a few areas where the balance could be improved. The sea bream ceviche was fresh and vibrant, though the white tomato element was quite strong on garlic, which slightly overpowered the delicacy of the fish. Similarly, with the asparagus dish, the wild garlic flowers were very intense — I could still taste them on the way home! The monkfish and sweet potato dish had great warmth and comfort, but the curry notes were a bit too dominant, making the monkfish hard to detect. On the land dish, the miso element was a bit heavy-handed, though the braised lamb itself was incredibly tender and flavorful — definitely a standout. The cheese course was served at a perfect temperature — a small detail that made a big difference. I also enjoyed the beetroot dish — nicely balanced and thoughtfully composed. Unfortunately, the macaron dish didn’t quite land for me — the macaron was not baked right . although the strawberry flavour itself was pleasant. Overall, I found the progression of dishes a bit confusing, as the meal moved between Japanese, Indian, and South American influences without a clear narrative or cohesion in style.

Lovely weekend retreat. Nothing to fault! The sommelier is super nice and knowledgeable. It’s very romantic and has a deer park next door.

Just had a most wonderful Afternoon Tea at The Paris House. The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. The staff were attentive and helpful throughout. Our second visit here and on both occasions it exceeded expectations. Looking forward to returning again soon.

This was a lovely place, it was a family meal out for a special birthday, the atmosphere was great along with the service. I don’t ever go to these sort of places, way to far out of my budget, the food was lovely, we had a set menu which we had the wine paring with, I enjoyed 5/7 courses we had (that’s just because I’m a fussy eater).

Yelp
Went for Sunday lunch. This is a genuine fairy tale location (beware both Qype & our sat nav got it miles out) that has been trading as a restaurant for many many years. It is now under new management with Alan Murchison heading up and with very high aspirations. There is a nicely priced menu with enough courses and variations to suit most, certainly well thought out, so you can be comfortable about how much it will cost. The wine list has no real cheapies but there were several bottles under £40 that I would have happily drunk, though as I was driving we stuck to a good bottle of Alsace Gewurtz at £57. Above the menu you have chosen you will also get an amuse bouche, in our case an excellent leek & potato soup. This was followed by a very beautiful looking Gravalax with beetroot, or ham hock terrine. Then on to belly of pork or cod. A stunning mini desert of rhubarb & custard, and a stewed?marinated mixed fruit desert. Followed with good nibbles. The gravalax & pork was slightly over salted, but not to distress, the fruit pudding rather dull, but the rest was top class. Service was both friendly accommodating and very knowledgeable. I shall certainly go again.

Yelp
I had, without reservation, the best dinner of my life at Paris House. (and I've had a lot of stonking meals) It just so happened that it's where my lovely man proposed too. The scene had been set with careful attention beforehand by my fiance and the wonderful Maitre d'hotel Francois. Champagne flowed, the staff were adorable and the setting really is fairytale beautiful. We had the fourteen course tasting menu at the Chef's Table with matched wines. It doesn't get more glorious than that for a true foodie, and the entire 5 hour extravaganza was utterly magical. Seeing the whole kitchen team working with amazing precision and razor-sharp wit was an absolute pleasure. The food was sensational and the wines were perfect. We were looked after like royalty and our curiosity about techniques and ingredients was met with enthusiasm and a genuine passion for food from the team. I wouldn't hesitate for an instant about going back.
