Convivial, exposed-brick hangout featuring elevated pub fare, bourbon & craft beer.
"Hiding in plain sight across the street from Centennial Olympic Park, Park Bar is a dimly lit tavern filled with beer, burgers, and Bruce Hornsby tunes. Though it feels like the wings should be better in such a pub-like space, they make up for the misstep with a fantastic grilled mahi sandwich. The playful burger of the month (the pretzel-bunned Oktoberfest still stands out) might be tempting, but the simple, flavorful beef option (and its 20+ potential toppings) is probably the best sandwich in a two-square-mile radius." - demarco williams, juli horsford, nina reeder
"This two-story bar near Centennial Olympic Park is where to head for pre- and post-game eating and drinking or to watch Atlanta United and the Falcons play for those without tickets to games at the Benz. Park Bar’s menu is all about comfort food, so expect burgers, patty melts, chicken tenders, and potato skins here, along with more refined dishes like a New York strip steak and grilled Mahi Mahi. Park Bar takes its very large whiskey and bourbon selection (over 60 bottles) and beer offerings seriously, too." - Beth McKibben, Eater Staff

"McCarren Park has many great things: plenty of shady trees, a public pool, grills, a track, a farmers market, and a fun skatepark to stare at wistfully while fantasizing about being able to do a kick flip. Perhaps its best feature is the Park Bar (located inside the McCarren ParkHouse), where you can cool off from your adult softball league or intense handball game with a glass of natural wine or a sweet frozen margarita, pumped with the fruit syrup of your choice. They've got a few picnic tables in the back, there's a sandwich shop next-door, and the venue hosts events like movie nights, DJ sets, and trivia—so keep an eye on their website." - Will Hartman
