Google
My group the spicy rigatoni, salmon, chicken and the truffle fries. Everything was delicious! I also had a good Mexican draft beer and Moscow mule cocktail. The cocktail seemed light on alcohol however. We sat outside with a nice view of the street and mountains.

We went here for lunch when the restaurant was quite busy. Luckily we were quickly seated while soon after a queue had started building up. It’s also a distillery that offers tours at specific times although we had stopped there for a quick bite. We loved the bison burger as well as the cauliflower rice and chicken bowl that we ordered. The staff were attentive and polite and the overall atmosphere of the place was quite pleasant.

Google
Such a cool place to eat in Banff!! You get to sit inside and the whole front wall is open so it’s like sitting outside! Excellent food and good drinks. I had the chicken sandwich and an Alpine Gin and tonic. I should have bought some gin to bring home! Plenty of gluten free food options.

Google
We had the Park Burgers and Bison Burgers. They were absolutely delicious!!! juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The bison burger stood out with its rich, slightly sweet taste, while the Park Burger nailed the classic indulgence. Beyond the fantastic food, the service was good, friendly, attentive, and efficient. It was a meal worth savoring, and we’ll definitely be back for more!

Google
If it’s not the best restaurant and bar in Banff it’s in the conversation. Very trendy design, epic bar with outside / inside seating to catch a breeze. Very busy early afternoon but we managed to get a table. Great menu. We ate ribs, steak and chicken with large amounts of beer🍺 . Would definitely recommend 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Well done Mr Owner, you nailed it

Google
Pretty solid restaurant in Banff to eat some bison burgers and enjoy some in-house distilled drinks. Came here for happy hour and ordered the bison burger meal ($30), rotisserie chicken salad ($24), and some happy hour drinks ($8). It was my first time eating a bison burger, so I was very intrigued about the taste. It was very similar to a beef burger, but a bit more gamey and tougher. I really liked the unique combination of ingredients they used for the burger. The blueberry aioli, fried onions and bacon paired very well with the bison. The fries tasted exactly like McDonald's fries but less salty, and the salad was good too. Their distilled vodka was very strong but delicious in the cocktail. Overall, I think the burger was on the tougher side and a bit pricey, but I'd come back if I was in Banff again.

Google
PARK is a must stop in Banff. The atmosphere envelopes you in a national park feeling. We had the mac and cheese, deviled eggs, and cornbread. Not only were they delicious, each had unique flavors and spices! Already looking forward to another fantastic meal when we visit again!

Google
This place is amazing, the food, the service, the aesthetic and vibe. I love this place so much and their in-house liquor is sooooo good!!! I highly recommend the maple rye and alpine gin!!! And if you have the time, do the distillery tour with the tasting! You get to try 4 out of all of their current brewed alcohols. We stayed for a week and I think we went here 3 times😂. And just to give a little testament to their liquor, most restaurants/bars in banff use their alcohol in a lot of their drinks!! The Mac n cheese was my fave and their burgers are amazing as well!

Yelp
Excellent dinner!! I enjoyed my Campfire Beef Tenderloin. Perfectly cooked steak and the loaded baked potato was amazing! It came with broccoli and carrots too so it was a well balanced dish. Everything was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. I loved my cocktail. Freshfields Sour was the featured cocktail and was delicious. I'm so glad I ordered it. I had the S'mores dessert and it was so good! Gorgeous view of downtown Banff and the mountains. Excellent and friendly service.

Yelp
Came here just for drinks. Friday night 7PM place was only 60% full. These are based on Personal Preference! Lost Word feature cocktail - 7/10, a little too strong for me. Grand Sentinel - boyfriend got based on recommendation from waiter, way too much like a Old Fashioned for me. Got better once the ice started to melt. 6/10 (not my thing). Floral Fizz - 8.5/10. Light, refreshing.

Yelp
Park Distillery was recommended to me by a girl I sat next to on the plane on my way to Banff. She mentioned the drinks were good- especially the gin. After a long day of activities, my friend and I were famished so we stopped here and were seated right away. The servers were super friendly and very much excited to have us. We sat upstairs on the balcony which gave us the most gorgeous view of tunnel mountain. The weather was quite nice. My friend ordered a lemonade and I had the mojito. The mojito was ok- but it was tiny and could've had more lime juice and mint. We ordered the cornbread to start, the rotisserie chicken salad and the seared salmon summit salad for entrees. We were trying to be wise with our choices. However, the salads weren't exactly the tastiest. They were ok and I ate most of mine but my friend barely ate half of her chicken salad. We both said we wished we'd ordered something else.

Yelp
Had a very simple but delicious meal here. The Alberta Angus Ribeye steak was wonderful. The steak was cooked medium rare to perfection and was juicy & delicious. The accompanying broccolini and roasted carrots balanced out the meal, while the crispy onions elevated each bite. Loved the baked potatoes as well. The Mac and cheese was light and not super heavy compared to other variations I've had, but I personally enjoyed it! The garlic breadcrumbs added a nice texture to it. The backpacker bowl was surprisingly quite good! It contained all of my favorite fresh ingredients and the peanut sauce tied everything together beautifully. I also forgot to take pictures but the drinks here were solid as well. Loved their alcoholic root beer.

Yelp
This one was our first stop in Banff, the patio caught our eye so we decided to swing in. We started by making a reservation for the distillery tour then sat at the bar to grab some drinks. The bartenders made some fantastic cocktails. I wanted to try every single one on the menu. We happened to be there during the end of happy hour too so we got to try a couple discounted options, they have some great recipes here. The tour was pretty cool, it's a very small production area and it was really awesome to see everything. They keep the groups small and you can ask a lot of questions which was cool. They ended it with a tasting and we got to try everything we were interested in, they have some really awesome craft liquors that they obviously put a lot of love into. It would be amazing to try all their small batch flavors because what we did get to try was fantastic. Such a cool spot to try when you're in the area.

Yelp
A phenomenal restaurant right smack dab in the middle of downtown Banff, Canada. While many come to Banff for the beautiful mountains and scenery but you should come for the tunnels. The tunnels at this dining establishment were astounding. If I had to choose saving my firstborn child from a fire or drinking a tunnel I would choose the tunnel every day of the week. I plan on returning to Canada just for these tunnels alone. The burgers and fries were also scrumptious. The fries tasted like McDonald's which is a compliment. Our waiter was a little bit zesty but the service was still very good. Overall an astounding restaurant with some brilliant tunnels and great food. 10/10 you need to come.

Yelp
Visited here on vacation the beautiful Banff! This place is right on Main Street and had a great outside area and beautiful inside. We did a distillery your which was excellent and tried some great samples. We finished up with food and it was SO dang good, service was quick and friendly and couldn't really ask for me. Never been? Go....on vacation? Book it 5/5.

Yelp
Pros: Great location with their own distillery Ample cocktail options Upstairs seating Surf and turf was excellent - steak cooked perfectly and loved the loaded baked potato and broccolini Cons: Only one server was assigned to our large group of 13 - she did a great job, but things were slow Everyone in my group had finished their meal before I was served :( Manager made it right though, which was appreciated! Pro tip: They have free distillery tours at 3:30pm!
google avatar

Christina N.

Yelp
This is a lively place, good for group dinners in downtown Banff. There are two levels, with the upper being reserved for larger parties. They also do free distillery tours throughout the day, which is a nice touch. Our server was nice and the service was fairly quick considering how busy the restaurant was. We ordered the spinach and four cheese dip and hickory truffle fries as appetizers. The dip was good, nothing special about it but it came with small pita-like chips. The fries were nice and crispy, and the truffle aioli provided a sharp contrast that I really liked! As an entree, I got the rotisserie chicken caesar salad, which was a bit underwhelming. There wasn't enough dressing, the chicken was dry, and the croutons were too big and crunchy to enjoy throughout the salad. It was still a refreshing salad, but I wish there was a bit more in all aspects.

Yelp
Loved the ambiance, food and drinks were great, and the staff were pleasant. We underestimated how big the burgers were and were stuffed leaving the restaurant! Would recommend this spot and will be back!

Yelp
Did not manage to capture Aurora on a recent trip to Banff but enjoyed dining at Park Distillery. We snagged two balcony seats with mountain (and people) view amidst the cool alpine air. Corn bread nicely-charred (served with maple whisky butter) was good. Bacon cheddar burger was well-composed, beautifully presented on a shiny brioche bun accompanied by crispy, thin fries and ketchup. Rotisserie chicken with perfectly browned skin looked great but was a little dry (breast portion), redeemed by clusters of well-roasted, crisped skin potatoes (yellow and purple). Campfire drippin' gravy was lackluster. Negroni (made with house-distilled gin) balanced and quite tasty but slightly smaller portioned. Staffs were friendly and helpful. We were surprised when our waiter informed us that the gentleman whom we were having a conversation with earlier had graciously settled our bill.

Yelp
I have to give Park Distillery props for having last minute reservations for a large group of 9. We were exhausted and starving from our hike so thank you to the staff for being accommodating and getting our orders in quickly. I totally get how crazy it can be with a large group but our server was awesome and on top of it! Park Distillery has a really cool vibe for both the upstairs and downstairs area. The decor gives ski vibes and the upstairs area has great windows to get the outdoor views and big TVs to watch live sports. Be sure to try some of their cocktails made with their own spirits. Had to try the bison burger and bacon cheddar burgers to try the Canadian beef. They had mac and cheese as a side and it was a great app to start and carbo load. Their fries are really tasty with the dipping sauces - great to pair with the burgers! All in all, had a great time and enjoyed our meal.

Yelp
Woah! How is this the first time we've made it here in the past 3 trips to Banff? The weather was great and the open patio had stunning views of the mountains as well as delicious craft cocktails with their own spirits. We came in after a hike from the lakes and thoroughly enjoyed our $7 CAD 12" hotdogs fully loaded that they throw on from 3-5p. 50% off house cocktails is definitely a crowd pleaser as well. The staff were fun and inviting and even offered some free samples of the seasonal spirits while we were there. Service was attentive and we are definitely coming back later this trip!

Yelp
Love the distillery, my margarita was so good!! Our waiter was so nice, he gave great recommendations on the menu and for local hikes that aren't as touristy. I definitely recommend ordering the cornbread starter and the roasted chicken, both were amazing! Plan to make a reservation here if dining during prime time, we lucked into an early dinner table but the place was getting busy by the time we finished eating.
google avatar

Cara C.

Yelp
No one greeted us for 10 minutes so we had to ask a manager to find us a server. We waited at least another 5 minutes after that for someone to finally come to us. Our server ended up being very nice, however, did forget my dad's beer. The food was average bar food, nothing special. I'm positive you can find better food and service elsewhere in this town.
google avatar

Yelp
Had a wonderful meal with my family at Park Distillery. The upstairs seating was great with the open air concept and it was a perfect night to eat there. The ambience was casual. Our waitress was very friendly and service was great. Everybody enjoyed their drinks which were made with spirits from the distillery. For dinner I order a quarter chicken with a side of the Mac and cheese and it was delicious after a long day of hiking. The Mac and cheese was fantastic and I'd be ordering a full portion if I were back to visit again! Great stop on a great trip.
google avatar

Jared G.

Yelp
Great happy hour value, phenomenal drinks and food was good as well. Had the Caesar, pulled chicken sandwich and cornbread first trip. Very good. Floral G&T and Negroni are the stars of the show drink wise. Speakeasy quality in a brewery town. Came back another night for drinks before trying another restaurant because they were that good.

Yelp
From the friendly helpful staff to the fun decor inside of the distillery, we had a high hopes for this place. The cocktails and food were all a 10 out of 10! They absolutely delivered to the point where we had to make a second visit after a long hike in Banff. We drove 45 minutes just to eat at Park distillery one more time. Could not possibly recommend this place more! No notes!
google avatar

Yelp
I came here for dinner without a reservation, but luckily they were able to accommodate me! I ordered the beef tenderloin with a medium cook, and what they brought me was very rare! My server, Tonille (sp?), kindly had the kitchen re-make it for me and also threw in a complimentary dessert. When my steak came out, it was perfect! It was seasoned so well, too!! It was absolutely delicious! My loaded baked potato and campfire veggies were also fire. For dessert, I had the caramel apple crumble, which came with a scoop of vanilla gelato. It was such a big portion and so yummy!! I would definitely recommend having a bite here while in Banff!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious! I started with a floral gin drink which enticed me to purchase a bottle. My daughter had the salmon which was clearly a popular choice as we saw it on many tables. She enjoyed the salmon itself but felt there was a lot of garnish. Honestly, as a teen, I was happy she ate as much greens as she did despite her feelings that they were "garnish." I had the chicken with drippings. Even with just the 1/4 order, it was a lot of chicken and incredibly delicious. Dare I say, moist? To finish off we had the s'more dessert. While quite decadent and tasted incredible, it did not really resemble a s'more. It was cold and there wasn't graham cracker present. The only thing that really gave the illusion of a s'more was the small piece of burned wood for the smell and the marshmallow on top. Delicious, just not a s'more. Our server was lovely and attentive and provided great conversation and serv

Yelp
Tl;Dr: Great place to hang out and enjoy the vibe but the actual quality of the drinks was quite deceptive. Would not be my first choice Park Negroni: Skip* If you try reaaaally hard you might be able to taste the difference in the barrel aged gin but not really. The campari really shines though way too much. It's for sure a run of the mill negroni that has no redeeming qualities. It poured from a premixed containers so it's even less special and you really could have just made it at home. *For $10 it isn't bad so sure. Knock yourself out if that's your vibe. Maple Old Fashioned: Skip Decided to go for a higher quality drink with this one but... it did not go well either. It ALSO came from a premixed container so that was hilarious. One of the most popular and simple cocktails and it's still premixed. Smokey and cacao nib flavors were overshadowed by the maple novelty of this drink. Storm mountain: Get If you like sweet, fruity, and refreshing, this one was actually not bad. I did not observe this one get made so i cannot comment on the premixed-ness of it haha. Hot wings: Get Sure is hot but more so just from the high amounts of tabsco/vinegar used in the sauce. The wings were definitely tasty though and I recommend Service was polite but as we sat in the corner of the bar we were neglected a tiny bit. After settling the bill and leaving, I finally thought twice about why I was charged almost $100 for the above (which is around $65) and realized they probably messed up our bill. Oh well....

Yelp
This is a very lively gastro pub with a hint of log cabin touches. We walked in on a Saturday night at 8:30pm. They had an over 2 hr wait but we choose to sit at the bar which had open seating. The bartenders were very friendly and helped us right away. We even got to taste a sample of their very own house distilled maple rye. So good!!! Even my mom who doesn't drink thought it was very tasty. If you want to take a bottle home, you can. I can't remember the price now but I believe it was about $65 Canadian dollars. Everything we ate was well prepared. We ordered buffalo burger with truffle fries, salmon plank plate, salmon salad, tomato soup. The only complaint we had was the fries. They were served cold. I advised the bartender who offered to bring us our new fries which they did and so very fast. We loved our dinner here and would highly recommend it when in Banff.

Yelp
Loved the service, the food, cocktails and especially their on site store! This became our favorite restaurant on our trip to Banff and I can't rave enough about their amazing cocktails! They have an on site distillery and a daily tour, and cute sized alcohol you can get on our way out. They also ship across Canada so you won't feel the withdrawal once your stock is done! Our favorite has got to be their buddha bowl and vodka tomato soup! Their feature cocktail during pride week was also delish. I miss them already!
google avatar

Melissa A.

Yelp
Booked on a recommendation from ChatGPT when I asked for an itinerary with unique options. I love fun cocktails and was impressed by their cocktails, food, atmosphere, and service! Marjoan was very attentive, patient, helpful, and fun! There was a new Irish bartender that was very nice as well and made the amazing cocktails! Overall very happy with the food and service so much so that we bought some chili vodka to take home and try to make some Sawback margs.

Yelp
I came to Park Distillery on my first night in Banff hoping to get a good, hearty meal before a busy weekend filled with a lot of hiking, and had a great time at Park Distillery! My partner and I decided to split the bison burger and the spicy rigatoni alla vodka. I'm not a vodka pasta snob - they all taste pretty similar to me and for the most part I think all vodka pastas are good, and Park Distillery's falls under that umbrella as well. Something special they did was use was sprinkle bits of fresh mozzarella over the top which I thought added a nice touch and made this dish more interesting. We were between the bison burger and the regular burger but I had never tried bison before and wanted to give it a go. It was definitely a nice burger - I'm not sure if I would've liked a regular burger better, but I appreciated how unique the flavors were between the more game-y bison and the blueberry aioli. I think I expected it to blow me away a bit more but there wasn't anything to complain about! I'm glad we decided to share these items because I think while they were both good, I sense I would've gotten a bit tired of the flavors if I had to eat a whole dish on my own. Most importantly, we were able to get through some pretty intense hikes the following days, so thanks to Park Distillery for properly fueling me!

Yelp
Slow service. Staff makes excuses. Good atmosphere and decent location just off the main drag. Never ate as we left one half hour after ordering.
google avatar

Thao L.

Yelp
Friendly staff, very clean restaurant, they have indoor and outdoor seatings, dogs are welcomed to their outdoor seating areas. Ate here 4 times and all their main courses and drinks were excellent. Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing food and drinks. Great service. Visited twice (lunch and dinner) while on vacation in Banff. Kids enjoyed Park too!

Rachel B.

Yelp
The Park Distillery was packed when we arrived, but we were still seated instantly. Food overall is quite pricey but we really enjoyed every thing we ordered. Both the hard cider and hard root beer were amazing, but the root beer was especially delicious with their house made vodka. The server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the distilling process which was a cool touch as well. Highly recommend, would go back!
google avatar

Brittney N.

Yelp
We stopped here for cocktails- pricey! However between 3-5 pm certain ones are 50% off... worth it! I can't speak to the food but everything we saw looked delicious. Also free distillery tours! Great atmosphere. We didn't wait at all for our table and the service was fast and attentive. We will definitely be back (between 3-5 pm )
google avatar

Yelp
This was one of our last stops in the Banff area - and I am glad we did. Wanted to try out some local distilleries and this one had a tour and tasting, so it quickly crept up the ranks of places that had to be visited. A good tour, and am glad I got to taste their vodkas and Gins, as they are not that easy to find in the US. They walk through the various parts of the distillery and take their time with things which is great. I did the tour and tasting while the rest of the family had a quick bite - made it back to our table just in time before our next excursion started but did get to taste the apps that were good. Didn't need an appointment for the tour which is great - given how busy Banff is during the summer The tasting was a great way to meet other fellow travelers as well as some locals. Would recommend if you are into tasting interesting new spirits

Yelp
The Park Distillery & Restaurant, Banff - Wow, just wow. I have been lucky enough to have eaten at a lot of restaurants in tourist destinations across the continent, but The Park Distillery in Banff is among the very best of them. Great environment, excellent service (Thank You, Brooke, Super Job), clean washrooms, and a happy, positive vibe that made our entire party, including the kids, feel very welcome. And, what we really care about, the food, was outstanding. Usually, food at busy tourist destinations, like Banff certainly is, rates about a star. It makes sense, the tourists are one-and-gone, probably never to return. This is not the case at The Park Distillery. We ordered a variety of dishes ... Asada Torta, Bison Burgers, Kids Burger, BBQ Chicken Sandwiche, Hikers Greens, Truffle Fries, and Maple Corn Bread ... and it was all fantastic. We ate like kings. I highly recommend The Park Distillery & Restaurant, you will not be disappointed. Five-Stars, really ought to be more. I am looking forward to returning soon.

Yelp
This was our last meal before leaving Banff (on a Wednesday afternoon) and it did not disappoint! This was the best spot we tried in downtown Banff. Our server was super friendly and on-point with her recommendations, and service was quick as well. I had the maple old fashioned and it went down very easily. The maple really made the drink but it wasn't too sweet. The tomato chili soup was delish. The 3 of us split it and I could have easily had the whole bowl because of how good it is. I got the shrimp tacos - also very good. The shrimp were huge and flavorful and there was a good amount of avocado on each one, which you don't see often, at least in the states. They were very filling. My friends both had the Buddha bowl which they both liked. I'd definitely come back if I'm ever in Banff again!
google avatar

Aman A.

Yelp
Great service, vibes, food, drinks. Recommend the wings and the bison burger. Salad with their rotisserie chicken was great too. All our drinks were great and server at the bar was super friendly. Highly recommend

Yelp
Park Distillery is definitely a place worth checking out! I ordered the quarter rotisserie chicken, which came with crushed potatoes, slaw, gravy, and grilled lemon. I also ordered a side of broccolini for additional veggies. The chicken and potatoes were seasoned to perfection, offering a delicious and savory combination. While the gravy had an unexpected flavor, deviating from the typical gravy taste, it was decent. The broccolini stole the show with good flavor and some subtle hint of spiciness. The service was exceptional, with your waitress displaying top/notch customer service and a constant smile on her face. The venue itself is both beautiful and spacious, exuding a modern cabin ambiance. The classic cabin decorations, such as (fake) animal head, skies, and snowboards adorning the walls. They also had tv's by the bar for the sports fans. It's also worth noting that they can accommodate large groups, but I suggest making reservations in advance, particularly if you want to snag a table upstairs adjacent to the outdoor deck.
google avatar

Bill W.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, super bar and selection of spirits. Pretty busy place, was lucky to get in without reservations. Service was casual, friendly and attentive. The mixed grill with BBQ meats was a nice choice for two and the real Smokey flavor was evident. All the side were tasty, presentation excellent and kitchen staff really took pride in their product. Best meal I had in Banff/Calgery!
google avatar

Gina K.

Yelp
We missed the free 3:30pm tour but still were able to partake in the delicious beverages using the Park vodka and rye. I opted for the Mountaineer Marg which is made with tea from a local tea shop. It was quite interesting in the most wonderful way. The flavor was like a marg but lighter and the coconut rim was a perfect match to the flavor. If visiting Banff and wanting to grab a unique cocktail check out Park Distillery.
google avatar

Lynn N.

Yelp
This food was delicious! My friends and I stopped in for some dinner and the three of us decided to have cocktails and share the mess hall platter and truffle fries. This was plenty of food! I had the maple old fashioned which admittedly was a little too much pizzaz for my taste but I loved a sip of my friends hard root beer drink! When our food came out, it's hard to decide which food item from the platter we liked most because it was all so good. The corn bread is super unique and tasty and if we return we would probably get an order of that! The ribs were fall off the bone and the potato salad and broccolini were other highlights. The curly truffle fries were delicious and the aioli was spot on but honestly the platter would've been enough for the three of us!

Stacie M.

Yelp
Had one of my favorite meals in Banff here. Arrived in Banff by bicycle on our first day in town (parked the bikes across the street at the free bike valet), and just walked over to see lots of people sitting outside. Menu looked good enough (and quick yelp search validated), and we were able to be seated right away outside (beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon in September). I got the Mountaneer Marg which was delic! And the Buddha bowl and added tofu. The bowl was large and full and well seasoned and suauced! Service was so friendly and efficient. Great meal!
google avatar

Valerie F.

Yelp
Come for the drinks, stay for the fries. Popular spot with friendly staff and plenty of tables. Came here mid afternoon for a light lunch/snack and really enjoyed it. Great spot for a drink, and we loved their floral gin. The curly fries were sooo good - definitely recommend getting the truffle ones. Other food was good, but nothing super memorable.

Colleen S.

Yelp
We went here on a recent trip to Banff. This is a great restaurant and we enjoyed it very much. Happy hour at half-price drinks is a plus. My husband had the chicken for dinner and I had a burger and both were delicious. We would highly recommend Park Distillery.

Yelp
We came on a whim because everything else has closed towards the end of the day and boy was this an interesting experience. FOOD We had a bite to eat prior arriving to Banff so we only order a burger to split and some drinks. The bison burger itself it's pretty decent. I guess because of the meat, it has to be cooked all the way through. It was pretty well packed and an overall decent burger. SERVICE AND DECOR Inside of Park Distillery has really cool designs. They have made the perfect match between a distillery and a cabin/hunting themed restaurant. The service was pretty good too. Server was super nice and attentive. The only downside is that they over charged us for few items that supposedly was charged "in the beginning of the day". Sounds like BS, so please make sure you double check your itemized bill before paying. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt that they're not trying to punk us.

Yelp
Saturday night - this place had an opening at 8 pm!!! Everywhere else 1 hour wait unless you had reservations. It's February- I think everyone eats out on Saturday. Place is still packed but lots of servers! Loud but not crazy. Full BAR! Bison burger lean, bbq sauce and thin onion rings on top- it was cooked well done/ as the way it comes- you do not get a choice like in USA. Also in USA one can drink at the bar casually-- in Canada- they are more civilized and required you to be seated by a hostess!! So do not be a crass American (like me) and hover around the locals at the bar -- you need to have a seat!!! Lesson learned-- there is a hostess who knows everything and you as a foreigner should be more informed. I don't get out much. Anyway/ I really enjoyed this place!! Fast food service/ excellent tasty burgers, fries, I also got dry rub wings and an ale beer on tap. Everyone friendly, smiles, and I love that they pay at the table and allow separate checks.

Yelp
Overall, I would give this 3.5 stars out of 5. It was a but disappointing but had enough that I would come back and try something else. There's lots of food and drinks on the menu that look interesting! My girlfriend and I split the Mess Hall Standard sharing plate and an appetizer of the wood fired carrots. Our favorite parts of the meal were the cornbread with butter and the carrots. The meats on the mess hall plate were all overcooked, unfortunately, and that was the biggest detractor for me in this meal. The broccolini was chewy, too. But, the warm potato salad held its own, and we loved the cornbread! The carrot dish was unique and flavorful. Carrots are my favorite vegetable, and I was delighted to see something like this on the menu! I ordered the spiked vanilla root beer to drink, and the root beer was a little too cloyingly sweet for me. It didn't have a rooty taste at all. Instead, it had an overly sweet taste almost exactly like A&W rootbeer barrels candy. I would order something else if I went again. For dessert, we had the s'more with a blonde brownie. The dessert was good, although it was a little too cold for a s'more like they had just taken it out of the fridge and/or didn't put it in the microwave long enough. Would be interested in going back and would order the carrots and dessert again, but a different drink and entrée.

Yelp
Dishes Rotisserie chicken Pros Great slaw (glad no mayo was in it) Chicken has a medium smoke profile Chicken was good and tender Quick service Friend staff (thank you Megan!!) Came strong plenty of times Great views Outdoor or second floor seating available Cons Slaw needs a little acid (vinegar or fresh lemon) This restaurant was amazing all the way around. I enjoyed the food and the drinks (old fashion - local whiskey). I don't have anything negative to say which is surprising. Thank you staff for your hospitality and great food cook team and chef.

Yelp
Pizza was really good and the beers were great after a long day of hiking. Service at the bar was quick and our drinks remained full. Loved sitting upstairs it is light and has a patio that is open to the inside. Live my was a bonus on the night we stopped by.

Yelp
Our absolute favorite spot in Banff! We ate here twice! My go to drink is the sawback with tequila. I wish we could've taken some bottles home. Service - super friendly! Ask for a table on the second floor patio!
