"Millennium Park, billed as the Midwest’s top tourist attraction, will be getting several more food and drink options next spring, thanks to a $2.5 million investment from Eleven North Hospitality. The group plans to renovate the 140-seat restaurant formerly known as the Park Grill and add a Mexican cafe opposite the Bean sculpture and a coffee bar operated by Momentum Coffee, a small Black-owned South Side chain." - aimee.levitt

Yelp
Love having this place in the winter. Sitting here having some hot chocolate and watching the ice skating with the city backdrop is amazing!

Yelp
The updated Italian fare at the restaurant is heavy on Pizza options but overall varied enough to select a good lunch. Today was a crisp, breezy 55 degree day, so my guest and I opted to dine in. That was my error. Management insisted on keeping the patio doors propped open so the half dozen indoor diners either kept jackets on or shivered through their meals. The sound was also really cranked up, though three requests finally got it turned down to a normal volume. A nearby diner thanked me for insisting. The concrete floors are also not a good fit for the chair casters which created a din when pulled out. Good food. Good service. Really poor management.

Yelp
Rebranded as Millenium Grill, this restaurant has Italian style pizza with imported ingredients, a spacious bar with wall tv screens, an outdoor dining area, and a Mexican restaurant on the top level with small outdoor dining area and Goose Island beer available. I recently tried their pizza, calamari, cookies, and other desserts. Drinks were included at event. Many people enjoyed the drinks. I found the calamari and cookies to be quite tasty. The atmosphere was outstanding and the staff friendly. Validated garage parking for this event was $14. Staff were not wearing masks and covid vaccination was required.

Yelp
So the summer drink for me while I spend my time downtown has been ---frosé. This place nailed it perfectly strong with the richer kind of frozen drink ... like it's not liquidy or melts fast - other spots unfortunately are those...

Laurel E.

Yelp
We really only stopped to get drinks so I can't speak for the food but the drinks were alright. We rarely saw our waitress and they were out of many of the drinks that we thought we would like. Overall it was alright but I would probably recommend going somewhere else.

Yelp
Stopped in on a whim despite some of the negative reviews and was very pleased. Had the margarita pizza and it was perfect. The Caesar salad was also phenomenal. Also, can't beat the views.

Yelp
I enjoyed my visit to Park Grill.. just off of Michigan Avenue. it's adjacent to the park... just down a few steps near all of the brightly colored umbrellas. Ambiance: Casual to upscale, depending on your needs. We were working out by walking the park and were okay with our yoga pants and tennis shoes, but there were definitely business meetings taking place. Service: My server was friendly and outgoing and made sure to take care of us. My cousins birthday had past the day before and he made sure to provide her with a surprise slice of cheesecake, with candle and all. She was impressed and pleasantly surprised... and so was I. Food: I understand that on Taco Tuesday, PG has a different type of taco for your enjoying pleasure. Whatever they came up with that Tuesday was too much for me (basically stir fry - rice and all- with broccolini all on a taco). It was a no for me... I just wanted a normal fish taco, but my cousin tried it out and thought it was good. My taco, was a fish taco that's on their normal menu. It was pretty good, just a little bland for my personal liking. That's when my server upped his game and provided me with some spice to appease my tastebuds. When in the windy city and at MP, I will definitely stop by.

Yelp
While going around the Millennium Park area with family visiting from out of town, we decided to stop by here for lunch. Unfortunately, it was one of those cold and rainy beginning of October days, so we decided to sit inside. The place itself is nice, clean and gives out an upscale ambiance. When we walked in, we were greeted by the host and seated immediately. We waited about 15 minutes until a waiter came by with the menu. Normally I would disregard that at a tourist type restaurant, but the restaurant was basically empty, so that was inexcusable. The menu is extensive, over priced, but also interesting. I had the Greens and Grains salad. It basically kale, spinach, quinoa, a bunch of other greens, dried cherries, sunflower seeds, and topped with a coriander vinaigrette. The salad portion is hefty for lunch in my opinion, but it was rather delicious. I forgot to ask for the dressing to be on the side and I was worried that the salad might be overflowed with dressing but it was just right. If you are trying to go for something healthy yet delicious, then this is it. My brother had the Dad's Chicken Sandwich and his wife had the Classic Cheeseburger. The waiter never asked her how she'd like her meat cooked, but luckily she likes it well-done and that's how it came out. Both said their meals tasted okay. The food wasn't that bad, we actually enjoyed our meals. It's the inexcusable service that needs to be worked on. It was extremely slow and mediocre for a restaurant that was practically empty on a cold Wednesday in October.

Yelp
Varied | Multiple | Summer Varied: The Resturant has a pretty big menu considering it is a grill. For anyone who is a New York traveler it has a bigger menu than the park grill at Bryant Park. The highlights are the sandwiches and vegan options. With Monica always looking for vegan options ... I've become more cognizant of those options on a menu. I had the dad's chicken sandwich which was pretty good. The fries were enjoyable as well. The highlight for the sandwich was the honey mustard combination with the other c Multiple: The park grill has effectively 2 restaurants in one. The first is indoor formal Dinning. It reminds you of old chicago: Wood with bronze and gold accents. The second is an informal outdoor park vibe. If it's lunch time and you want to get some vitamin D, then sit outside. Summer: I went at noon on a Wednesday. It was still well attended. Given its proximity to millennium park, I imagine it is a popular spot for tourist and groups during the summer on the weekends. Therefore it's best to get a reservation. Why it lost a point? It just didn't have a wow factor. Most of the appeal is a function of location And the energy associated with any restaurant around Michigan Ave and Millenium park. There isn't much of a view considering it sits essentially right below the park. Pro tip: no student discount Pro tip: if you sit outside, during the summer expect a decent amount of flies. Nothing that is too much or unbearable, but if you have "that person" who can't handle a few flies in your group, then don't sit outside.

Yelp
We were hot and thirsty on our self guided Chicago walking tour and dropped in for a beer. Ordered the shrimp cocktail for $15. On the upside: the venue was nice, the location is great, the service was good and the beer ($8) was good. On the downside: the shrimp cocktail was very small, it was served in a large shot glass which made it very difficult to eat, the flavors were ok but somewhat uninspired and it came with one small cube of avocado. For $15 and about 8-10 small shrimp, I would have expected a whole avocado. This place is expensive and more of a drink place than a food place. Yelp
$1 oysters happy hour? Yes! However... the oysters were not the freshest sadly. Still tasted good but lacked the freshness. And... most importantly, no one had a tummy ache afterwards. Huge win. :) Otherwise, the service was attentive and not overbearing. The bathrooms were clean and the food was good. Good spot to hit if you want to sit down a bit after touring the park.

Yelp
Love this place...came here for the King Kahuna Burger and also had the Frozen Millennium Smash...wish the drinks had garnishes...but they did not disappoint. They were out of the Frozen Margarita, but when the machine was replenished they gave me a sample which was nice. Live music was on-point and it is fun sitting outside at the Plaza Bar which has pull up chairs and picnic tables that are shaded. A special thanks to my server Brian who returned my wallet after it had fallen out of my bag and went back to the bar and he retrieved it as someone had turned it in...thank you!

Yelp
Had a really bad experience with a waitress a few years ago here and I vowed to never go back here. However,  we were invited to a private party here and decided to check it out again. The restaurant has both Booth seating as well as table seating,  I would wait for a booth as they are larger and more comfortable. We nibbled on a simple salad,  mini burgers, chicken sandwiches, and sweet potatoe French fries.  All were better than your average Party food. With prices such as $18 for a hamburger, or a chicken sandwich for $14 with a side or salad,  prices are bit on the high side and there are lots of lower priced alternatives for food across the street on Michigan avenue. They do have an extensive wine list,  as well as cocktails from the bar at premium prices. I think perhaps the best feature of this restaurant is the location.  With gorgeous views of cloud gate (the bean), the ice skating rink (in winter) and our breathtaking Chicago skyline,  it is well worth a visit for the views alone.

Yelp
Will only give this place 4 stars for now bc my salad was not enjoyable. I ordered the kale, quinoa, cranberry and nut salad with salmon. The salmón was delish but honestly there was wayyy too much salad for the small piece of salmon they provided for an extra $7. :( can you tell I was famished???? I didn't even eat half the salad. Place had great service, great location and great ambience. I will definitely try again but NOT that salad. Sorry-can only give 4 stars bc of that tasteless salad.

Suzan H.

Yelp
Yummy!! I wasn't overly impressed with the entree options. But the salads and sandwiches looked amazing, and tasted even better. I had the butcher burger. An amazing mix of short ribs and brisket. Side salad with creamy vinagarette was fresh and delicious! My friend got the chicken parmesan sandwich. She said it was terrific. Great wine list too!! Good choice at the recommendation of our hotel staff.

Yelp
I was hesitant to dine here because of the previous reviews but we had a good experience. We ate a late lunch on the day before Thanksgiving and we were seated right away. Nice ambience and friendly hostess. Our waitress was wonderful. She had great suggestions and was always around when we needed her. The food came out quickly and everything was good. The guacamole appetizer needed more salt and lime though but the cheese dip was good. And we had to ask for some more chips because there was plenty of dip. The burger, fries, lobster club, minestrone soup, salad, kids pasta, and complimentary bread, and special hot chocolate were all good. We enjoyed dining here right after checking out the Crown Fountain and the bean. They also have igloos to dine in on the patio. I would come here again.

Yelp
You know I really tried to like this place. I mean I really wanted to enjoy it. Sadly I wasn't able to and am not a fan of Park Grill. My girlfriend and I came here on a whim on Uesday 12/19/18 and decided to have a seat at the bar. The bar was not too crowded except for a group of intoxicated out of towners / business folk. We each ordered an old fashioned and it struck me odd that the bar was out of 3 different kinds of whiskey. I was told that their delivery was set for the next day or two, but they didn't have much in stock. We were finally able to find a half way decent bourbon, but it wasn't great. The old fashioned itself was just plain bad. I actually asked the bartender if he gave me a bourbon and water instead of and old fashioned. Just a very, very poorly made drink. At $12 a pop, I expect something half way decent. Between the bad old fashioned and the group of drunks who kept falling over, it wasn't the best time. I would suggest going somewhere else for a cocktail.

Yelp
Recently, for the first time ever, I sat down here and actually spent some time on this pretty cool outdoor dining joint. Millennium Park was having its annual House Music Festival this past May and me being a house head had to of course attend. Also my boy was spinning on the stage that was setup right by the tables so I wound up spinning most of that Saturday afternoon here. Me and some friends started out with the very popular millennium froze'...I would say we end up having about 5 a piece by nights end. Truly an awesome summer time drink/treat! They had some pretty good beer for consumption...I mainly drank the Apex Predator, but also hit the Bells Oberon and Goose Island Old Man Grumpy. You can say I drank a lot on this particular day..lol! As much as I drank, I obviously had to eat somewhere in between. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich was phenomenal and the Pilsen Street Dog was pretty decent as well. Good space to chill outside in the spring and summer and possible fall months. Located right under the Bean and on Michigan Ave, this place is a must do.

Stephanie P.

Yelp
This was my first beer can chicken and it was tasty with the blend of spices and the meat was very moist. I wish it came with some sides to help complete the meal. The corn on the cob was loaded with a bunch of spices and cheese which I liked; however, not everyone on the table was a big fan of it. The Bavarian pretzel was meh and the sangria was a little weak as well. A good meal overall but not spectacular for the price charged for each item.

Stephanie A.

Yelp
Stopped here for a quick bite after the requisite visit to Cloud Gate and before we jumped back on the bus to explore Shedd Aquarium and Field Museum... we wanted quick but it was anything but that after we were seated and water was brought to the table. We looked over the menu and decided on the chips and salsa and grilled chicken sandwich. We started to look around for our waiter and saw 3 scurrying around but not one of them looked at our table... we sat and sat and sat before finally making eye contact with one of them, she then walked by another waitress and said something to her and that waitress walked over to the waiter who was waiting on another table. He finally came over and we ordered. When the food came... chips were stall and salsa was out of a jar. Blah! Chicken sandwich was good but it came with a bag of chips. Not feeling it at all and wouldn't come back

Yelp
I had lunch here and enjoyed it. I chose to start with the $1 blue point oysters. They were perfect! Then I enjoyed a couple drinks and a lobster roll. The lobster roll had bacon and was so tasty. The side salad was boring (just lettuce, cucumber and radish) and the lettuce had some mushy brown bits on. The waitress was a sweetie. The toilets were clean. The location is great. I found it a little too warm inside.

Rose H.

Yelp
Our party of 7 ate here on a late Saturday afternoon. The place was wasn't busy, but we were seated after a 5 minute wait. The restaurant location is super convenient, as it is off the Millennium Park garage elevator and under "The Bean". They have covered, outdoor patio dining area with views of the city buildings. I guess they extend the outdoor area during the warmer months, so there are views of The Bean. We opted to eat inside. Our waitress was attentive, friendly and informative. I ordered the lobster club with a side salad, along with a vodka spritz punch. I thought the bacon might overpower the lobster, but they complimented each other well. The sandwich was delicious. My side salad could've used more vinaigrette. The alcoholic drink was refreshing. They also served big portions. We all enjoyed their meals and the fries were a hit with everyone. This is a convenient place to eat when visiting Millennium Park. We look forward to eating in the extended outdoor patio area when it gets warmer.

Yelp
Happened upon this joint at random after touring around the magnificent Bean. The weather was scorchin and we spotted ice cold beers and outdoor seating; easy choice. We were pleasantly surprised at their local beer selection, ordered a couple of amazing Michigan IPA's. Then there's the food. Don't think. Order the beer can chicken. It was the bomb. Also very fun to eat with pickles and limes and hot sauce, getting your fingers dirty over some beers with a friend or date. Awesome couple hours lounging, eating and drinking with the skyline before us.

Ozzy C.

Yelp
The staff here is friendly and helpful when you can get their attention. Our bartender spent most of his time with his back to us playing pokemon go or something. I would've traded him my Charizard if he would take my food order. The bar needs more shade, was getting stage one skin cancer but that was my friend's fault, she wanted to sit outside and drink warm yeasty beers. The high chairs were too low for the bar. Was gonna ask for a booster seat from Ash Ketchum. The drinks were good and those specials made my wallet happy. I sympathize with the bartender, gotta catch em all. I'll probably be back

Christy V.

Yelp
I hate that I can't give this place 5 stars. The location is great. I love the outdoor seating during summer and the atmosphere and aesthetics are great because it almost reminds me of somewhere I'd go back home in SoCal. However, the food is over priced and not that great. I understand that because of the location, this place will be pricey like every other place here, but at least offer high quality tasting food. That way although my wallet is empty my stomach doesn't feel empty. The drinks are decent though and the handful of times I've been here my drinks weren't weak. I'll most likely still frequent this place for a drink only, but I'll pass on the food. Service is as expected. No complaints.

Peter D.

Yelp
From the start order was completed wrong, but we ate it because we were starving. Ordered there signature hamburgers which we got regular Double cheese burgers . Hotdogs were ok . Drinks were ok. If you're not starving keep looking.

Don N.

Yelp
Wandering about the city I started to feel a little parched. Saw a whole bunch of folks in a park off the main street and figured that may be a good place to get a drink. Walked in around 5:30 pm or so, place was still pretty empty and I had the large bar all to myself. I didn't order a full meal but just wanted a beer and a snack. Food: Looked to be a pretty extensive menu, seeing how I was going to look for dinner later on I just wanted a snack. I ordered a dark draft beer from Wisconsin and since I'm going with the whole cheese state thing I ordered the fried cheese curds. The curds were very good, not overly battered, crispy, light and all melty gooey in the middle. Paired perfectly with the draft I was enjoying. Service: Good service sitting at the bar (but then again I was the only customer at the bar) with a friendly bartender and a big screen tv all to myself. Atmosphere: Large space with a big bar, lots of booths, etc. There seemed to be a lot of servers working so I imagine the place gets busy. Seeing how it was early (before 6) it was pretty empty, quiet, and relaxing. Value: On the pricier side but being in a prime spot I can imagine that the prices are in align with other similar establishments in the area. Overall: Based on the cheese curds I'd be willing to come back and order something more substantial. Good selection of regional beers, lots of food choices, you could choose worse places to spend an afternoon.

Yelp
This was my second visit here. I was first here for lunch about a year ago. I enjoyed my lunch here so I thought I should return for dinner with my family. It is located in the Millennium Park so it is conveniently located if you are visiting the park or the bean. My family of 5 did not have a reservation on a Saturday evening at around 6pm, but, we were seated immediately. For an extra $2 I started with my usual Patron Silver margarita for $12 total. We shared the cheese curds appetizer for $9. We had a 3 year old so we ordered the chicken nuggets for $5.95. I enjoyed my Ballerine Lobster Mac and Cheese entrée for $24. See my picture. I had the most expensive entrée. I ended my meal with a draft Guinness for $8. The total bill less gratuities was $187 for the five of us. Amanda did a good job of serving our table.

Tony R.

Yelp
Unorganized chaos. Walk to the bar , was told can't order a drink unless you are sitting at rail of bar. Told to go on patio, waitress would take our order. No one came . Try to go back in. Patio doors locked, we have to walk all the way around. Order a drink, get them, bartender who made drinks won't take payment. Have to pay the other bartender. One extra star for the nice pour of my double shot Makers Mark.

Daniel M.

Yelp
Right by 'The Bean' this is a good option for a nice cold beer and bar food. I think the outside area is called 'The Plaza' and during summer it's seating under the sun, during winter it's an ice-rink!

Marielle G.

Yelp
This place was the perfect stop after a long morning spent walking around Chicago and sightseeing. We stopped in just in time for happy hour. We sat at the bar and our server was phenomenal, attentive, engaging and especially great about all my dietary questions. I had a free beverage offer that I used with Yelp so I ordered the Fall Sangria which was delicious My salad was also tasty and dressed with a light house vinaigrette.

Michelle Brady S.

Yelp
It's a perfect spot to enjoy the meal and some fun activities around. The best location for everyone especially, for tourist. It's right by the cloud gate or everyone calls "big bean" in Millennium park. Art institute, rock climbing and the river are a couple mins away or you can walk along Magnificent mile for a fun shopping day. Very convenient. I love sitting at the patio, I would say this is the biggest patio in town and the coolest thing is, it turns into an Ice skating in the winter. This amazing patio is very well decorated with beautiful flowers & a lovely out door bar. The service was great & the food came out shortly after we ordered, didn't expect that so that was awesome. If you prefer AC, there is an in door section available. This restaurant is very big but they are busy through out the summer. They take reservation if you don't want to Wait in line. We had a few simple dishes, Cobb salad and grilled burger plus some cocktails & wine, we really enjoyed them. The price was reasonable and the portion was just enough, no wasting. They also have a lot of draft beers, great selection. I love this place so please check it out and you will be thrilled :)

Erika G.

Yelp
I haven't written a review of this yet?! I love this place, and go here quite a bit. In the summer, this place is the BEST bar in Chicago. Enjoying a refreshing drink, gazing up at gorgeous skyscrapers in the coolest city in the world. Right in the shadow of the Bean and steps away from the Frank Gehry-designed Pritzker Pavilion. The service varies. Sometimes it's atrocious, and sometimes it's very attentive. The food is good enough, but tends to be a bit overpriced. The hummus is not that good - pass that up. A great place to hang out and watch people.

Kyle H.

Yelp
The Plaza at Park Grill is a haven for tired tourists and in-the-know locals looking for a chill place with great views. The burger menu is diverse and I almost went with the California burger (roasted pineapple, Sriracha BBQ sauce) if it weren't also topped with another meat, Pulled Pork. I mean I love meat, but I didn't want to have a heart attack on a plate! The Plaza serves up plenty of salads and wraps for the health conscientious, still I went with the Kobe Beef Tacos. A generous portion of seasoned beef with lettuce and a chopped cilantro topping. Tasty for sure, but they were probably two times the price you would pay anywhere else. Service here is top notch! And I like that the bar here mimics the design of the Metro stop a few streets down, that was donated from Paris to the City of Chicago. They also have bags to play and couches for those just wanting to sip beers and chill out. The location offers up some stellar views, great people watching and this really is a fun place to catch up over a few beers. Still, the food and specialty drinks are quite overpriced for what is offered, and therein lies the rub of being at the hub.

Joyce A.

Yelp
Great location, great service, great food. Enough to share between two: Angus beef burger, with gorgonzola and balsamic grilled sweet onions, generous side of fries and fresh tomato, sliced red onion. Flatbread of Buratta (a soft fresh mozzarella type cheese) with fresh tomatoes and basil - my favorite style of "pizza) - crispy and chewy at the same time! Smoked chicken and ballerine pasta (really Campanelle) was creamy, smoky but not overwhelming. Enjoyed the meal!

Mike M.

Yelp
Going up one star over the average 3-start rating. This might be a touristy spot, but it's also a spot for locals to hit up for a drink or quite bite if they're doing something in Millenium Park - like a concert or just spending the day. Super limited food menu makes choosing easy and gets things rolling fast. Service was great, the outdoor lighting was super nice too. I may have been starving, but the cheeseburger I was great. Don't pass it up because it's "touristy."

John T.

Yelp
I came here with a large party during lunch during the week. We had a reservation. The hosts felt the party was so large we should get two rows of tables, without really consulting or asking when we put in the reservation. This causes us to request rearranging (there was ample room) which took a little while to do. Then, when we were finally ready to order, the way the servers split the table felt incredibly awkward and difficult. One server was at one end announcing specials none of us opposite could hear but the server on our end didn't make the same announcement for our benefit. It was just inconsiderately handled. The food itself is overpriced as a downtown establishment by a major tourist destination but you generally know that going into the whole affair because of said location. However, they actually had some lunch time specials that were incredibly reasonably priced so I think there truly is something for everyone at every price point. The food was fine, done perfectly fine. Generally not somewhere I would recommend unless you're in the area or coming for an event. But it's a perfectly fine place to dine.

Felix C.

Yelp
The Plaza at Park Grill is A-OK. It's a perfect meeting place in the middle of the city. A great location to stop after walking, sightseeing, or just hanging out. It's a fun place to people watch, get to know out-of-towners, or guests visiting Chicago from all over the world. The food is typical bar quality, which is by no means great. It's not five-star dining, but if you'd like a refresher, some chips and dip, nachos, or even a burger, you could do a lot worse. Prices are also a bit high, but the views and location are great. In addition, it's a great pit-stop to use the washroom. Let's be honest, where else in the middle of the city can you find a public washroom? LOL So, all in all, I like this little outdoor Summertime station. I'll definitely be back!

Kate M.

Yelp
I saw this place multiple times, but line that starts next to ice rink always scared me away from it because I would always assume that all those people want to go to the Park Grill. Yesterday, after pushing through a crowd, I finally got to actually try this place out. I really liked design and style of the place. Fire place makes it super cozy and brings extra warmness to the Park Grill especially during cold evenings in Chicago. All Christmas decorations made it feel like home. I expected prices to be much higher, taking in consideration restaurant's location, however, I was pleasantly surprised by reasonable pricing. My friend and I ordered burgers and got a cup of a soup with it, making a perfect combination for a dinner. Overall, good experience.

Mariko M.

Yelp
Our tour ended at Millennium Park and it was already one o'clock so we decided to lunch in the area. I wanted to see the Bean so while looking at it, I noticed this restaurant underneath it. The decor is nice; it was really cold so we decided to sit inside in the dining room. We sat in a booth that had a great view of Michigan. On a warmer day, the patio would be great for some lunch and people watching. The service was really great- our server was attentive and came often to see how we were doing. For a tourist spot, the price point wasn't too bad. Most entrees were in the $12-15 range and portions weren't too small. I had the falafel entree, which was a-okay. My DC had a burger with fries and a carrot-ginger soup. Come here for the location and service; the food is pretty average so don't expect to be blown away by your meal here. Good for: Chicago sightseeing

James R.

Yelp
Slow service, very average food and at a highly inflated price. The staff was friendly, but it wasn't enough to compensate for really poor food. I wish that I'd crossed the street and gotten a burger at the shake shack. In spite of the friendly staff, you'll still be very unhappy about this place.

Beth K.

Yelp
Shrimp cocktail was hard; but not frozen. Hope I don't get sick from eating one. Restaurant 1/3 full; 95 degrees and couldn't get my water refilled. Ordered tomato salad to replace; end of summer and tomatoes hard and barely ripe. Chicago can do better than this. I'm kind of embarrassed that this bad food and service establishment is how we're showing off our city? Note: service got worse since I wrote the review? Any manager on duty? Untrained, uncaring and doing very little????

Tavi J.

Yelp
I did not go here out of choice, but we were meeting up with some friends to watch the end of the world cup game and this is where they went. I felt un easy right off the bat because of how touristy this place is. LOL. Actually let me clarify touristy and people who think this is the only place to go from the burbs. I gave it a chance and ordered the nachos....OMG....disgusting. I have no idea what kind of cheese that was, but it was really runny and tasted weird. The chicken came in ridiculously huge pieces and there were like 5 pieces. Might want to consider cutting it up next time. It took a while for the waitress to come back and take our orders, but in her defense it was crazy pack. The best thing they have going for it is location...Michigan Avenue right in the heart of millennium park. They are sure to attract a lot of attention from tourists and other people that don't know about the many great Chicago restaurants we have. Venture off of Michigan Ave people :)

D J.

Yelp
Our waiter kept disappearing. We were in the restaurant for over 2 hours and were never offered a second drink. It took almost an hour to place an order! My food was okay but others in my party enjoyed the spinach dip, cheese curds, steak and fish. The kale and white bean soup had no beans in it? If you don't mind terrible service the food is good overall.

Victor H.

Yelp
Came here after a walk in millennium park for an early dinner. The dining room was nearly empty so we got sat right away. I ordered the salmon and dad ordered the scallops. First after working as a server in the food industry for several years, I was impressed that our server was knowledgeable about what we ordered. My dad is lactose-intolerant so we asked if there was any dairy involved with the scallops. Fortunately our server knew the ingredients and could confirm the scallops were okay to eat. With that said, we got our food and dug in. The salmon was very flavorful with the sweet mustard glaze giving a sweet/sour taste. The potatoes weren't anything special but the broccoli was nice especially mixed with the mustard glaze. Dads scallops were decent. They were a good size but I could tell he wasn't overly impressed. Nonetheless he finished everything on the plate so at least it wasn't terrible. This is a nice establishment although we weren't blown away by anything. The service was very good though and they do have a nice outside dining area which looks like a nice place during the spring and summer.

Yelp
Meh. Nothing amazing or worth the ridiculous prices. You are paying for the locale. I would have preferred one of the hot dog stands.

Yelp
We stopped at this nice outside bar inside the Millenium Park for a quick beer after a day spent walking around Chicago and had an OK experience. We had a Green Line Draft and a Goose Old Man Grumpy PLZ (each $8) and they were very refreshing. Service is a bit slow.

Yelp
WARNING. Please do not dine at this place. We came here for lunch after a day downtown. Horrific service. The Waiter was inattentive and slow. It wasn't even that busy. We waited to ask for our check for almost 20 minutes because the server was nowhere to be found. We finally got his attention and he lost our order and we had to tell him everything we had again. This place seems completely disorganized and the people that work there are shameful. One guy busing tables REEKED of cannabis and had his sunglasses on the entire time laughing uncontrollably. I am all about having a good time and letting each person enjoy whatever it is they like to do, but if you are at work you should be somewhat semi-professional. I would have have been better served going to a hot dog stand. Side Note: the bloody Mary is good.

Yelp
As part of my quest for great fish and chips I gave this place a try. No way, no how, never going back. The fish was horrible and greasy. It had a thick batter and there was more batter then fish. Only had a few small bites and was done with that. They served the fish in a basket over fries. It made the fries greasy too. They only gave the basket no plate, had to ask for a plate. They were nice to take it off my bill and offer me their fish sandwich. The fish sandwich was a little better not greasy but it had hard parts on it that I could not eat. It was also crazy covered in tarter sauce that was gross. the tarter sauce was all over the sandwich hiding the taste of the fish. The sandwich also was filled with about 5 to 6 different vegetables everything from red peppers to cucumbers and some greens. It was all too much and the fish was drowning in other stuff that took away from the fish. If you are listening Park Grill, a good fish does not need all that other stuff. a simple piece of good cod or haddock and serve the possible toppings on the side to let me choose. Service was good but food was not.
