Park Hotel Vitznau

A perfect stay, a must visit. The hostel has the most incredible views, the most helpful staff, and incredible food. The waterfront area has a floating dock with a slide, stand up paddle boards, and floating devices. There was always a seat available, all with great views! The spa ‘free’ facilities are wonderful (though don’t open till 3 pm on weekdays). The had a driver available to take you for free to either Weggis or Vitznau. ||Feels like Lake Como but better views.

This is literally the BEST hotel I have ever been to. We did not have AC until we arrived here and even then they said they use a certain system with water and stones to cool everything down. It was incredibly impressive. |We were late on our arrival and the staff recommended that we order room service ahead and will have dinner set up in our room upon arrival. It was so lovely and thoughtful! The food here is insane and you just have to try everything you can. |The views are breathtaking and the pool is just so relaxing. I can’t wait to come back here for our honeymoon.

This might be the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at, out of hundreds worldwide. Everything was beautiful, service was impeccable. The view of the lake while walking into the lobby is just stunning. House car will take you to visit nearby sites, and it is a Maybach which felt ultra luxurious. If you like wine (or even if you don’t!) do the winer cellar tour - it is very impressive and well worth the cost.

My husband and I have just spent 5 days at this fantastic hotel. It was a treat for my 40th birthday. Everything was absolutely glorious (apart from the iffy weather). I was given a lovely cake and bottle of champagne in the room. We had a lake view balcony room and the views are stunning. All the staff are so lovely. We also had the pleasure of meeting the general manager who was a very pleasant gentleman. ||We had dinner at Focus which was out of this world. The Grill restaurant was also delicious for dinner and breakfast.||We had a very relaxing couples massage.||I swam in the lake a couple of times. It was so cold but so refreshing. We don’t have many opportunities at home to do this so I had to make the most of it while I was there. ||I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Just book it! ||Thanks Park Hotel Vitznau.|Amy & Craig 🥰

My partner and I said this was the most incredible place we ever stayed and it is. However the second time we visited (we liked it so much we changed our route home to come back for one night), the hotel was extremely busy and the service was, to be honest, quite poor. It took a very long time to get a sun lounger, the tea station in the spa was a total mess and the staff seemed under huge pressure and very stressed. We felt sorry for them. As a previous reviewer has also mentioned, the atmosphere, for a while during our first stay and for most of the time during our second, was ruined by children screaming and yelling. In the pool, in the lake, the spa, the restaurant…. Everywhere. I definitely would suggest to management that this hotel should be adults only as it definitely had a detrimental impact on our experience. It’s hard to relax with screaming kids running around and the staff didn’t seem to bat an eyelid. This hotel has such potential and we will still come back, but outside of summer holidays and peak season.

Unfortunately very disappointing and not what it used to be…. Nice location, miserable service and not welcoming. Always had it good in memory from past visits and my brother even had his marriage here… now I have not been for fee years and it changed. Can’t recommend anymore at all.

Beautiful hotel, impeccable service. I had high expectations for this hotel, and the hotel exceeded them. And the spa… WOW. Incredible. Definitely the most luxurious spa I’ve been to. So many sauna/steam room/pools. And the views. Make sure you leave enough time to thoroughly enjoy the spa and relax. We booked via Amex FHR for a night and were able to enjoy noon check in and 4pm checkout. A perfect amount of time to go up to Rigi, enjoy the spa in the evening, have breakfast the next morning, and enjoy an afternoon at the spa before continuing on our journey. Can’t wait to come back for longer next time.
