Park Hotel Vitznau

Phenomenal experience, they really made our trip special. The room was perfect, they think of everything. Breakfast was amazing and the grill restaurant is great quality. Michal went above and beyond, even helping with pictures in multiple locations giving direction. Enrique was a fabulous driver. The second time we drove with him he already had the Bluetooth ready to go for my connection for music. Looking forward to my next stay.

A perfect stay, a must visit. The hostel has the most incredible views, the most helpful staff, and incredible food. The waterfront area has a floating dock with a slide, stand up paddle boards, and floating devices. There was always a seat available, all with great views! The spa ‘free’ facilities are wonderful (though don’t open till 3 pm on weekdays). The had a driver available to take you for free to either Weggis or Vitznau. ||Feels like Lake Como but better views.

The lakefront view at Park Hotel Vitznau is breathtaking, and the Michelin-star restaurant delivers exceptional cuisine. But for $2000/night, this hotel falls short in every other way. A wedding with loud music and shows disrupted our stay, with no prior notice. The front desk and management were shockingly rude and inconsistent—allowing our guest to swim in the public lake, only to retract permission after an unnecessary argument, despite the half-empty hotel. Their inflexibility ruined our plans, with zero effort to make amends. The hotel’s vibe is cold, lacking warmth or authentic charm. Spacious rooms feel sterile and poorly designed, despite the obvious money poured into the place. Kids screaming everywhere added to the chaotic atmosphere. The main restaurant’s food was average at best for the price. Save your money—this hotel’s stunning location and fine dining can’t redeem its lack of service, taste, or heart. Not worth it.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The lobby, the rooms, the spa, the lakeside area, the views from the restaurants - all breath-taking. This was the perfect spot for us to relax and unwind after a more active segment of our vacation in the mountains. ||We never had any trouble getting chairs by the lake or in the spa, nor any difficulty securing reservations at the restaurants because the property limits access to guests and people with long-standing reservations. So it has a quiet, exclusive feel.||We also wanted to praise the chef and the kitchen staff. We have some very specific dietary needs (kosher diet), and the chef, Christian Nickel, was extremely accommodating. He communicated with us extensively, both prior to the trip and during our stay. He demonstrated understanding of our needs and went above and beyond to meet them, providing us with delicious meals adhering to our needs. Thank you Christian and staff!

This place is top notch in every category. Property- high end and stunning. People- heavily staffed at all times and they are all dialed in. Service might be most impressive part. Food- delicious. Chef and team are excellent, all meals were wonderful. ||Overall I can’t imagine a better run more beautiful facility.

This might be the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at, out of hundreds worldwide. Everything was beautiful, service was impeccable. The view of the lake while walking into the lobby is just stunning. House car will take you to visit nearby sites, and it is a Maybach which felt ultra luxurious. If you like wine (or even if you don’t!) do the winer cellar tour - it is very impressive and well worth the cost.

My husband and I have just spent 5 days at this fantastic hotel. It was a treat for my 40th birthday. Everything was absolutely glorious (apart from the iffy weather). I was given a lovely cake and bottle of champagne in the room. We had a lake view balcony room and the views are stunning. All the staff are so lovely. We also had the pleasure of meeting the general manager who was a very pleasant gentleman. ||We had dinner at Focus which was out of this world. The Grill restaurant was also delicious for dinner and breakfast.||We had a very relaxing couples massage.||I swam in the lake a couple of times. It was so cold but so refreshing. We don’t have many opportunities at home to do this so I had to make the most of it while I was there. ||I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Just book it! ||Thanks Park Hotel Vitznau.|Amy & Craig 🥰
