Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa

We had the most wonderful stay at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort this week. The resort is absolutely beautiful and very convenient to the ski lift. We enjoyed the excellent service at breakfast each morning. We were so impressed with those who cleaned our room each day also. They kept us hydrated with plenty of bottled water and ice water in the lobby, which was a nice touch. We loved that we never needed a car the entire time we were there. We enjoyed the restaurants which are no more than a two minute walk away from the hotel in Beaver Creek Village! We would absolutely choose this hotel again for our next ski trip!

My first impression of this hotel was that it was an above average ski lodge with exceptional access to the lifts. That was last year. This year my impression of this hotel is one that is poorly managed, inadequately staffed, and does not care about its guests. We had to ask for basic things like having our room cleaned, having our table cleared, not vacuuming under our table while we were having dinner next to the bar!! In addition, the whole vibe of the place felt like a trashed frat house rather than an upscale ski lodge. The patrons at the bar were drunk, obnoxious, and loud, and dirty dishes, clothes, and trash were strewn all over the resort (on the patio, in the library, in the hallways, in the common seating areas) everyday. And how dare I ask for help? If help came, which it didn’t always, it was either given begrudgingly with a scowl or not at all. On the last night of our stay, I was asking the front desk for who I could talk to about the challenges we were having, and instead of being apologetic and attempting to help me, he was very dismissive and said it couldn’t be possible that what I had experienced had actually happened. Reading the other reviews, I would say it looks like my review is accurate and reflective of the terrible experience we had.

Overall, we had a good stay. The resort is in a prime spot and the team was consistently welcoming and helpful. For a premier property, I do think there could be more food variety and the rooms could use some updating. I was also charged for valet even though we didn’t have a vehicle, but customer service removed the charge quickly once I called. Overall a solid experience, but at this price point you naturally expect a bit more.

We had such a wonderful stay. First time in Beaver Creek which is adorable and convenient in every way. ||The hotel is beautifully renovated, we stayed in a king size room with a roll away bed. Closet and bathroom space was adequate. Plenty of water in room and all over the hotel was much appreciated.||The service is truly excellent, the ski valet a pleasure, the slopes and gondola is steps away. We enjoyed the fire pits and outdoor kitchen for lunch, used the outdoor jacuzzi one night. The hotel was full but there was space for everyone. Most suited for young families with kids. ||There was a mishap with our in room dining which the restaurant manager apologized for and comped our drinks. I requested the temperature and pressure for the shower be looked at as it was Luke warm, maintenance came by while we were out and it was working perfectly by the time we returned. ||My only mild criticism is that the breakfast Buffett is really not up to park Hyatt standards. $44 pp before tax & tip is a pricey meal for a very standard selection. I would select à la carte or eat out. Dinner must be run by a different chef bc it was excellent, beautifully presented and delicious. Cocktail & wine selection are very good too. ||We skii’d one day in Beaver creek and took the free bus to Vail for the 2nd ski day. Easy 25 min drive. ||I would stay here again.

My second stay at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, and I loved it even more than the first - thanks to the beautiful Christmas décor. The hotel felt especially cozy and festive, which made the whole experience extra special.||The service is consistently warm, the ski-in/ski-out access is effortless, and everything about the stay feels easy and well cared for. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again.

I love this hotel and Beaver Creek is one of my most favorite places to visit. The hotel is beautiful, has every amenity one could want. It is a ski in and out property, has a lovely spa with heated pool, hot tub, sauna and treatment options galore. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. I have been staying at this hotel for years. It gets better each time I come.

From the perspective of a wedding photographer and filmmaker, the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek offers an exceptional setting for couples who want a luxurious, dream wedding in the heart of Beaver Creek. The views, architecture, and surrounding village create a range of elegant backdrops that photograph beautifully in every season. The ceremony lawn and terrace provide stunning portrait opportunities that feel both intimate and elevated. The staff is warm, attentive, and highly organized, which helps the entire day flow smoothly for couples and vendors. Every wedding we have captured here has been elevated by the natural light, the views, and the refined experience the property offers. It is a venue we always feel confident recommending to anyone wanting a refined, mountain wedding experience.

We have a night booked there. Our kids ended up with Flu B. The Hyatt refused to let us move the dates and wanted to charge us $750 to cancel the room. According to the employee we spoke to they are ok with sick people coming up to expose everyone opposed to modifying the reservation. Very responsible on their part. I recommend the Vail Hyatt. Amazing resort - spent one of our night's here on a car rally that my partner's and I organize, quarterly (Las Vegas to Zion to Vail to Denver). Event Coordinator was easy to work with you! Seemed like we had the whole place to ourselves, and they even kept the bar/kitchen open a couple hours longer just for our group. If you're ever in the Vail / Avon area, this resort is a must!

Three year update to my 2021 review. The property is increasingly moving towards relying on its location to dictate the price, rather than living up to the price. The rooms haven't changed, i.e. mostly the same as five years ago, and other things are slowly slipping. Their valet and bell staff continue to be a fantastic outlier in the world of service, for any hotel. They are fast, friendly, will unpack your car, load your car, and they seem to do it at blinding speed. Very well run valet/bell operation; top of the class. Ski valet they keep tinkering with each year and just can't seem to find a formula that works. Miscommunications, relying on names written on painters tape stuck to your shoes, long lines to get your skis, boot dryers that have been broken for 3+ seasons now, etc. Buffet breakfast continues to be great, but it's not excellent like it was a few years back. There will be random things not prepared well, expected sides/toppings present one day and missing the next (cream cheese or capers for smoked salmon for example), etc.. I actually miss their buffet setup from back during covid, because there were plastic panels in front of the food. None of their layout has sneeze/cough guards over the food, and sometimes you see things you wish you hadn't. The pool and hot tubs often have beer cans and other debris strewn around. Finally, price, and availability of benefits. They raised their prices quite a bit for the '23 season (points and dollars), and eliminated suite upgrade redemption. These are reasons why I spend a lot with Hyatt, and reasons I stay loyal to Hyatt, and it would be nice if they'd make their operators participate in the program properly. I also could not book more than three nights on points this season, so I checked out and went to Marriott in the middle of my ten day stay. Would be nice to not have to deal with that hassle, but the Hyatt was double the paid price of the Marriott a short walk away, so that's where I went. Even the Ritz Carlton was a lower rate when booked very early the way I do.

Hard product is at the level of a dated 3- or 4- star hotel: The soft product/service tries to be a 5-star hotel but falls short. You're ultimately paying for the location and convenience to the Beaver Creek Village and slopes. The low shower pressure is very disappointing to come back to after a long day out. Not to mention the shower temperature fluctuates or seems to lose heat after a few minutes, and the handle is hard to turn so it can go from warm to scalding easily. The bedding is a thin duvet that's loose between single sheets, instead of a fully zippered up duvet (often much thicker) found at other luxury hotels. There is one power outlet per nightstand, and it is a small outlet at the bottom of the lamp, flush with the bottom so you can't plug much in, such as if you have a travel adapter. The front door is not sealed well so every evening and night we hear kids running down the halls or people talking outside, earplugs are a necessity. At check-in, we weren't told anything about the resort fee benefits, and when we asked later, they just went over some basics and printed the list from the website. The list is misleading however since some of the services listed on the resort fee benefits cost more, like the arcade room. I did appreciate the Vicks humidifier in the room which was helpful in the dry winter weather. The Globalist breakfast is nice - wide selection of: deli meats, pastries, omelette station, avo/hummus toast station, NY steak carving station, grits station, juice/veggie drink bar, fruits, and various coffees/teas. But service could be better, we had to repeat our room number 2-3x every morning since they don't communicate between the front desk and the servers so we had to keep clarifying that yes, we do have breakfast included. I like it better at other places where you don't have to sign anything at all. The staff is very proactive in engaging us, though it felt forced sometimes. Before the stay, they sent several emails to prepare us in addition to offering a live scheduled call, but some questions were answered too generally. For example, I asked "should we make dinner reservations or is the 8100 restaurant generally available for hotel guests without reservations?" and they just responded "you can make reservations online at this link." During our stay, they called our room and texted our number to check in which was appreciated, though on the phone it felt like they were rushing to get off the phone. The 8100 restaurant is insanely overpriced. $40+ entrees, $20+ appetizers and drinks, and the portions were small. At the lobby bar, we saw a yuzu cheesecake on the menu but we were told they didn't have it when we sat down to order it. Service was aloof and we had to ask for utensils after they delivered an apple cake that we ordered. It was a nice family trip for us, but not sure we would stay at this hotel again - likely another one as there are many other luxury options in this area. This feels like a Hyatt Regency or Grand Hyatt at best, not a Park Hyatt.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful views overlooking the mountain. Lobby is decorated nicely and has several separate areas to gather or relax- also with a bar right in the middle. They have an outdoor pool and a few hot tubs as well as a gym (though doesn't open til 9am!). Service is prompt.

The breakfast buffet before skiing is always such a treat! I love the variety of foods that they have! Some of my favorites are the cheese blintzes, the lox, and the variety of pastries! Always good service and great ambiance!

One Star Service, Misrepresents single rooms as "suites", Doesn't honor Globalist benefits (Breakfast, Late checkout) From the very start, the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek was a huge disappointment. I've stayed at multiple Park Hyatt's in many countries over the years...and this hotel does not deserve that flag. The staff provides no service and lacking in basic hospitality. If you're looking for a hotel closest to the slopes, this may be it...but for $1,600/nt during President's week for a base room and $2,000/nt for the "suite" room we booked, you should have Motel 6 expectations of competence and hospitality. First, I booked the "Parkside Suite" for 6 nights. When I arrived, I find out it is a single slightly larger room (no separate bedroom) for our family. Not a suite as defined in every dictionary definition. When I asked if their staff could find anything on the internet where a "suite" was defined as a single room, I would gladly withdraw my protest, but every definition of the word when we looked online had the word "suite" meaning "multiple connecting rooms in a hotel". Second, the breakfast was an incompetent mess. The restaurant did not open until 7am, had no reservations, and waits of 25 mins to 1.5 hours every day. Room service would not open for orders until 7:30, with 1-2 hour waits. Other families waiting in the restaurant got into huge screaming matches every 15 minutes with a staff that just did not give a darn. Getting to kid's lessons that start at 9am was stressful and anxious all 5 days we hit the slopes. We had to skip breakfast and pay for our kid's breakfast at other off-hotel restaurants even though hotel breakfast was included with our rate. To finish it off, as Globalist I'm eligible for a 4pm late checkout. I asked for 2pm, to give enough time to spin the room for the next guest checkin at 4pm. However, this hotel lied and said it was impossible. Just icing on the cake for the lack of hospitality...especially after all the missed marks of trying to gaslight that a larger single room is a "suite". The general manager Herb Reckliff should be ashamed at his "5 star" hotel.

This is a very nice place to stay. All the staff have been very friendly and accommodating, and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay! They have live music daily here from 3-6pm. The bands have been great too!

The Park Hyatt Beaver Creek has a wonderful location, great staff and nice attached fitness center. However, as of 2021 the last time I stayed there, the hotel is in need of a significant renovation in the guest rooms. For over $1,000 a night for even a standard room, its time for fixed up rooms. For example we had broken furnature, a window that wouldn't close, and AC/Heating units that didn't run the way a 5 stay hotel should (fans made clicking noises, wouldn't stay on all night, temp wouldn't go low enough). The recent bar renovation was nice, but still could be more comfortable.

It was definitely a beautiful resort. The views from the hotel grounds are breathtaking. The staff was extremely friendly. I would love to come back in the winter see this place covered in snow.

Beaver Creek is an amazing place to visit. If you visit Park Hyatt during your visit and not a hotel guest, they provide less than Hyatt-level service. While in Beaver Creek last week, we frequented the Park Hyatt in three different occasions: twice at the lobby bar and once at 8100. All three times, as soon as the server identified that we would not be putting the bill on our room, their behavior turned instantly as if we were not worthy to be there. Shame on Park Hyatt! We will be taking our drinks and food elsewhere when returning to Beaver Creek.

I am writing this review while we are actively staying at the hotel. We booked our stay for two nights. There was a beautiful wedding tonight outside (Saturday, 10.15) + the after party is inside the hotel on the first floor connected to the front lobby. The dj music is so incredibly blaring loud + it is currently 11:28 pm. We have two little children under 4 years old but despite that, we couldn't even sleep if they were because of how loud it is inside our room. Our babies have been up several times because the music is so incredibly loud. I thought the music would stop at 10 so we didn't say anything because it is someone's wedding after party + we want to be understanding of that. Then 10pm past, 1030 came + it was still blaring loud. At 1030 we tried calling the front desk to ask when the music would stop but no one answered (they probably couldn't hear their phone because of how loud the music is). My husband walked down to speak with someone around 1045 + the front desk said there was nothing they could do + that the music/after party would be going until midnight. To be staying at a luxury, five star hotel with this happening is completely unbelievable. If this loud of an after party is the norm here then the entire hotel should have been blocked + booked only for the wedding + not for other guests. There are signs all around the hotel stating that they observe quite times beginning at 10pm. This has honestly completely ruined our stay. We booked this trip for our anniversary which is today + it was supposed to be a relaxing getaway with our boys + it has turned out to be the opposite of relaxing. Completely disappointed.

Not a great experience. Was planning a romantic get away and called six times previously to ensure special arrangements were made being very clear that I was seeking a relaxing /quiet weekend. After checking in, kids began to bang on the wall, scream as they ran up and down the hallways. Could not use the pool, sauna or gym as these areas were overflowing with unsupervised teenagers. This place looks great but they should have made it known that they were hosting a teenage event for thousands of kids. We had to find another location/resort the first night and move to a new location. Management had no control.

-- Not certain how this location can still hold the Park Hyatt brand. Unless you're paying US$5K/night for a suite -- Grand Hyatt at best. -- We were really looking forward to a luxurious retreat by choosing a Park Hyatt location as it has always been. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed by a few items such as the subpar bathroom. The sink was cracked, the shower head was very very basic and the fan extremely noisy. In addition the menus at the restaurant were simply basic, but at Park Hyatt prices. The hot tub amenity was wonderful and so was most of the staff. Most of the staff is hired seasonally and doesn't have any higher end hospitality experience, turning the stay into a Hyatt Place experience, with some notable exceptions! With regards to skiing, the location is perfect and the ski valet do an amazing job having all the equipment ready in the morning and packed back up for checkout. On a sale we would definitely stay here again but not at all for $600/night. Would consider other properties first.

This hyatt doesn't understand the concept of customer service. It's Very difficult to get basic requests done. Doesn't matter if you contact Herb Rackliff "General Manager" not once in 25 days did he follow up with. Marissa Orantes "Guest Experience Manager" will till you what you want to hear and never follow up. Make a Promise that doesn't happen. Overall the staff is to busy to talk to customers. Check in they are talking to each other or on the computers. There is no clear check in line. If you don't have Luggage they will Completely ignore you. Trying to get your room clean for a long stay was in possibility. It's seem like you can get anyone do a deep cleaning. My sheets were exchanged twice in my 28 day stay. I end up calling Hyatt Corporate to get assistant. Still to this day the hotel has not offered an Apology. Just Randomly send Chocolate ( after reaching out to corporate to get my room clean. See the picture at how dustly my room got too. I would not stay here for a long term stay! ( or have my Enemy stay here) The restaurant on Site is also not nice too. Try setting reservations and make you wait for a long time. I end up Avoiding the restaurant completely ( note I get free Breakfast there too) The location is great! The building is nice but the people do not follow the values of Hyatt hotels. If you are just passing thru for 2 nights and can over look a leak of customer service then this hotel would be just fine. Nothin wrong with the beds, rooms just the people.

We are just blown away by this resort and its surroundings. It felt like a small slice of heaven. Before we even arrived, we received emails and text welcoming us and asking if we were celebrating anything. The day of, the GM manager text to make sure our flights were safe. Upon arrival, they upgraded our room! We had wonderful conversation with Faye (sp). In our room was a card signed by the staff, and a bottle of champagne. Our room was so comfortable, and so quiet. Just pure bliss. Bathrooms are slightly dated....but why are you in your room? The surrounding area is a small slice of heaven. The grounds are gorgeous and popping with color. SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY....They did such a wonderful job making the environments feel safe and clean. Yes, some amenities are closed, but again, go outside and explore. Special shout out to the valet guys, they were amazing. Professional and always greeted us with a warm welcome. Felt like we were coming home every day. Also, special shout out to Madeline. She was very helpful with a small situation. Explained it early, was professional, and resolved the issue immedetly. Then right back to smiling wonderful customer service. I highly reccomend this! This was our best anniversary trip so far.

I'm writing this review not to criticize the staff at this hotel who are doing their best during these difficult times but more so to have this escalated to someone at a management level/Hyatt corporate level to address many issues. I requested an ADA compliant room at this hotel in advance of the reservation. At the request of the hotel on the day of, they moved us from an ADA double room to an ADA king room. That was fine. Upon our arrival, they have valet service which I was aware of. We were in town because my partner was having significant surgery on her knee. Given this is a skiing area and the nationally renowned Steadman Clinic is in the area, one would think that expensive resort hotels would be prepared and accommodated for ADA compliance/individuals getting surgery. This hotel simply is not. The wheelchair accessibility ramp is unbelievably far away from the entrance. The hotel doors do not automatically open to accommodate the disabled. It was simply a mess from a drunk man outside trying to "play hero" to my partner while I unloaded our car to just the horrible lack of ease just getting into the hotel to the mad chaos of so many visitors in the lobby during COVID-19. The check-in process was strange, too. There was one gentleman upfront who was almost purposefully avoiding eye contact with me. He looked like an extra in a movie acting like he was doing something important on his computer. At the least, say to me, "I'm sorry. We'll be with you in a second." Nothing. Finally, an apparently competent front desk representative showed up and she was kind. So, to the ADA compliant room: the room is on the 3rd floor and at the complete end of the hall. That's always nice. Make a person in a wheelchair go all the way to the end of the hall. Then, upon entering, there's a strange hump in the doorway making it not easy at all for a wheelchair to get over it. I had to push my partner through while ensuring her injured knee did not hit anything that could cause her more pain. Fun to play Frogger with a wheelchair. The wheelchair could barely get through the area between the king size bed and the wall. The room had carpet. Again, not helpful or ADA compliant. We had brought food for our stay to put in the refrigerator. Upon opening the refrigerator, there was already food in it, some that appeared to be open soup?!? GROSS!!! In these times of COVID, when you don't clean out the refrigerator, how am I supposed to feel about the rest of the room? My partner complained (including the use of profanity...something we both try to avoid being understanding people that have worked in customer service before but this was all obnoxious) and to the credit of this hotel staff they tried to accommodate to the best of their ability. Comping the room was not possible as I used points because I'm a World of Hyatt Member and the only reason I had points was from ANOTHER TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE at a Hyatt hotel and their management gave me these points. So we were provided with a credit at the restaurant. It's appreciated but we're already stressed out with surgery and angry with how this all went down, now you want to make me fat, too? Again, the staff at this location (other than the guy at the front desk) did their best given the circumstances. But these are fundamental structural and customer experience problems with this hotel that are simply unacceptable both legally and for how expensive this hotel is and how elegant Hyatt purports to be. I've already filled out my World of Hyatt survey and instructed someone at corporate to contact me. No one has. Now I write this review in the hope someone will contact me as well. This hotel has ADA compliance issues. It also makes no sense how terrible the Hyatts in this area are at accommodating surgery patients given skiers get injured and it has one of the best clinics in the country in the area which it collaborates with for business. Just unacceptable. So, someone that matters at Hyatt, please reach out. World of Hyatt indeed...a world of fully able, rich people who apparently don't give a damn about their fellow person or customers.

A large reason we booked this place was because of the supposed shuttle for transportation- unfortunately, getting a shuttle ride anywhere (even Avon, which is at the base of the hill) takes an absolute act of Congress (even during their non peak times) Transportation in Beaver Creek is limited to Uber (unreliable, limited number of drivers), expensive taxis (ie $65 to get to Vail, 10min away), or a hotel shuttle that is at best hit or miss - mostly miss (they make up reasons why they can't transport you). The actual room itself is solid - clean, comfortable. The 1800 restaurant is horrific - stay away. Overall an immensely disappointing, frustrating experience working with the team here. Pay whatever it takes to stay in Vail - you'll save money and headaches in the long run. Will purposely go out of my way to steer friends away from this place.

I changed my rating of this hotel. After spending three nites at this hotel, I feel that my initial experience with the receptionist was not truly indicative of this hotel. I still feel they need to remember that they are in the hospitality business and it wouldn't hurt for the employees to take a refresher course. The hotel room is outdated but it is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. They provide basic amenities and have a housekeeping and turn down service daily. They don't have a mini bar, but give complimentary water twice daily. They also have a humidifier which was a godsend. There is a ski rental and retail shop in the hotel and once fitted, they will bring the skis, poles and boots to the ski valet. From there you can get right on the lift. The convenience of all their services puts this right up there with the quality of high end ski resorts. I suggest that you take advantage of the travel deals because this is a pricey resort. In addition to the room cost ($499 as of this post, there is an extra $100 in fees for parking valet, state tax and CO community village fees.

Always the place to be in Beaver Creek. Good bar. Good restaurant Great hotel and Spa. The Residences are very nice

Brunch buffet was great and Drea, our server was exceptional, particularly with all of the mediocre service we've been getting in the mountains. Awesome tofu scramble, bacon was on point and blueberry pancakes were a perfect way to start our day.

What a wonderful place to stay at. The rooms were clean and very well maintained. The entire property was amazing and they had the staff to go with it. Just outside the hotel we're many shops to choose from, along with multiple restaurants and bars. A great place to ski, snowboard or just relax on a nice family vacation

I love this resort. It's one of my favorites on the planet. That said, this time I was rather disappointed in several things. First, the jacuzzis and pool were closed. I was looking forward to having coffee in the jacuzzi with the snow lightly falling. They said the heaters were down and I should go to the spa, so I did. I love the exhale spa but they only have indoor hot tubs and they are gender segregated. In addition they charged $40 to use them. I thought maybe they should waive that given the others were not available. I was also surprised to see a spa menu with nothing under $200 and no paper maps of the mountain available. Not great to have to use phone for map while skiing. Finally, they closed the bar at 8 and restaurant at 9. They claimed low crowds which was true but when I come here I expect all of the same amenities even if it's a lighter crowd. It's a beautiful property with unmatched location. The Christmas tree was beautiful! Not sure about the remodel that painted all of that beautiful wood dark gray and exchanged the Frank Lloyd Wright style fireplace with gas inserts but that's just me. The staff was wonderful across the board. The food was excellent too. Great fitness center and spa. Fire pits are wonderful too!!

This is a great hotel! I enjoyed everything about this hotel and the location. We stayed for four days in August during the off season so it was not too busy. The fire pits at night were nice with enough room for all guests to partake in making complimentary s'mores. The hotel food was good and it was conveniently located to shopping and other restaurants in the plaza. I enjoyed the vibe here over Mammoth, California and Incline Village, Nevada.

My partner and I have been staying at the Park Hyatt for two years now whenever we need to get away for a weekend, and I truly couldn't imagine a better place to stay. The rooms and property are absolutely fantastic, and the ability to literally walk outside into Beaver Creek village is a real plus. The food and drinks on property are great, and there's always more options in the village if you need something different. But what truly sets it apart are the little touches. The staff seems to go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. As I'm looking out from our patio, I'm looking over at the amazingly thoughtful gift left for us from the concierge thanking us for our years of business, and a note that reminds us that "we'll always have a second home at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek". I never feel more relaxed than when I'm here, and I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

I have waited to write this review. After years of coming here for excellent accommodations and care, our previous stay was sub par, to say the least. I had heard there was a management shift, and the details noticeably suffered. (And details are eeevverryytthingg) I am pleased to report that all that we have loved in this picturesque mountainside village hotel is back in place! And it should be, as this is a Park Hyatt property charging Park Hyatt rates. There is no more convenient place to Ski in/ski out in the greater Vail area. (The mountain is your back yard) I am currently sipping an apres ski cocktail, listening to the acoustic tunes of a talented local, next to a raging Fire, on an overstuffed leather couch, watching the last of the late afternoon skiers wind down the majestic mountain dramatically framed by 3 larger-than-life picture windows. The staff has just circulated s'mores kits to the children. And the culinary team is passing out warm cookies to kids of all ages. *happy sigh*. (Read:spoiled rotten)This evening we will wander just steps from the hotel to watch the village ice skaters and enjoy a fantastic Italian fest at Toscanini. The hotel staff is ultra accommodating. The rooms are average in size, but the sheets are of the highest thread count, and the towels are soft and oversized. The spa is not to be missed. Even if you don't want a full service,opt for the water experience (about $20) and get a relaxing change in l'attitude. Welcome back, Beaver Creek Park Hyatt!

Amazing hotel!! Not only is it very beautiful, the service is first class. We had a small snafu upon check-in (a well intentioned error over the room type for our family), but the staff made up for it in spades. Thank you to the managers, Jeff K. and Herb, as well as Omar and Jess at the front desk, for going well above and beyond to remedy the situation. We appreciate each of you greatly. Thank you for making our trip so special! It is also worth mentioning that the accommodations here are incredible. The ski valet service and staff are fabulous and the concierge is exceptional (thank you Laura for all of your help in advance of our trip)! If you are considering a trip to the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, I can't recommend it enough. It is really difficult to want for anything while you are here!

Park Hyatt is pricey, but also conveniently located RIGHT beside the slopes. Literally. You could walk a few feet from the hotel and you're at the ski lifts. In addition to the slopes, Park Hyatt is also right beside the Adult Ski and Snowboard School, where my boyfriend and I took lessons, and a "village" of stores, restaurants, and a ski rink. We came here using our 2 free nights (room was $900/night during our visit), which covers the cost of the room and taxes. However, we still paid $50/night for the valet parking. Our room was OK. A little small considering the size, but we appreciated how the front desk was able to accommodate our request to be on the highest floor with a view of the slopes. Everything here is $$$$. We went to their downstairs restaurant for breakfast one morning and paid double the price for half the portions of eggs benedict and steak frites we would get anyplace else. No kidding, it was the smallest piece of steak I've ever received. We also ordered room service-- charcuterie plate and a bottle of wine cost us a little more than $100. The amenities were a nice touch. During our stay, we enjoyed the free smores and chocolate chip cookies. Since we didn't bring our own skis, we didn't get to use the ski valet service, but they were on top of their game and were quick to push the carts of skis indoors when it started snowing. Park Hyatt has a game room, fitness center, swimming pool, and 3 jacuzzis as well. They have a large lobby with a ton of natural lighting coming through the floor-to-ceiling windows. There's a cash-only bar, in addition to free hot chocolate and water. Unfortunately, we visited during Spring Break, so the space was always crowded.

Really sad reminder of why i moved my 50+ nights a year away from Hyatt. They used to be so great but this place is a terribly overpriced property with little to no service. What is most outstanding to me is that the key places where there is easy money (main bar, pool bar, dining) is poor and mostly non-existent. With 30 people in the pool, the pool bar is closed?? With at least 40 people in the lobby bar they announce last call at 8;45??? Room service took 1.40min. The "on demand" shuttle took over an hour to get us. Golf club closed at 5? Honestly, a total waste of money. Sad - stay away.

Best location. Beautiful place to stay. Pool area is great, warm pool, 5 jacuzzis. A lot of entertainments. Pool side food is great. Highly recommended!

I came with my family during the off season because we wanted to come during a quiet time and we don't ski. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is attentive, friendly, and helpful, but that has been the case with every Hyatt property I have been to! During our visit, we spent 6 days in the Fireside suite. It was stunning, with an open floor plan and a nice view of the trees and the trails that wind throughout the grounds. The suite includes a large hearth and an inviting gas fireplace. Nightly turndown service included both milk chocolates and dark chocolates, and Italian bottled water. The hiking in the area is superb, and it is only a few hours drive to Rocky Mountain National Park is you're looking for something more challenging. After spending the day exploring the grounds, my family and I enjoyed a soak in one of their six hot tubs. It was a perfect, rejuvenating day and it didn't even require leaving the grounds. Every evening after our dinner we went into the lobby for our complimentary S'mores kits that we cooked outside over their roaring fire pit. Overall I found the property to be beautiful, the grounds and amenities to be top notch, and the staff warm and helpful. The vibe was relaxed and laid back; exactly the sleepy mountain town experience that I was looking for. 10/10 would recommend again.

My fiancé and I had a lovely stay at the Park Hyatt in Beaver Creek! Our first greeting was from Jared that worked the valet. He was so helpful and friendly. He even went above and beyond when my fiancé left the valet ticket in the car and had to dig through multiple keys to find ours. First impressions are so important and Jared set the tone for our stay with his customer service! I also want to recommend the restaurant inside of the hotel. Everywhere was closed and we were happy to find it open later. Keegan was so knowledge and provided us a mini education on wine and mezcal. It was more than just a casual stop at a restaurant bar, it was an experience we won't forget. Wendy and Matthew were also fantastic and everyone really showed us a great time! They even had a situation with a customer that was too drunk and made sure he was escorted out professionally and safely. We cannot wait to come back again and stay at this wonderful ski in ski out hotel!

Decided to come here out of the blue because of an amazing deal. We stayed at the Mount Lincoln Suite with the attached room. It's on the first floor. I originally had booked the Meridian suite but for some reason the reservation was changed to the Lincoln suite without telling me in advance. I only noticed this change day of checking in. Not entirely happy about it but the front desk said both rooms are equivalent. The room is amazing. It over looks the courtyard/village center. If you don't want that view, don't get this room. I was trying to originally get the Oxford room but it wasn't available. Room comes with a humidifier and I highly recommend you using it. We actually have the same kind and I was able to see that they clean the nooks and crevices of the device very well. At the time that we came, they had their BBQ festival. This room in particular was not sound proof. You could hear all the music but luckily it ends around 5pm. You can also smell some of the BBQ smoke. I would highly recommend blasting your AC just to clear out some of the faint smell. Not all rooms will be exposed to the loud music so if you have toddlers/infants that need their afternoon nap, you might want to pick another room if you can. Like with rooms at other hotels, they have a nespresso machine and works without issues. In terms of parking, it's $35 a day and only way to get it waived is to be globalist. If you have any lounge passes, this hotel does not have anything like that so you won't be able to use your passes. The shower in the main room is not very useful. It basically splatters water everywhere else except you. I think they should change the shower head to something more practical. As with any ski resort area, bring your own quality lotion and chapstick/vaseline. You definitely need it! In terms of overall experience, I would say it was only good because of the service you get compared to the nightly cost. It costs so much because it's a ski resort town. For that price point they charge, I expect A LOT more personal touches and attention to detail (especially because they are part of the Park Hyatt branding). I feel like if even I had globalist status, they wouldn't have been able to offer the personalize attention/detail I received at Park Hyatt Sydney. They also have a restaurant within the hotel which I will write a separate review for.

Before booking a suite for our two week spring break we decided to call both the Park Hyatt and the Ritz Carlton. Upon our first try we were sent to voicemail. Upon our second call we were met by a gentleman who could not have been more annoyed by our 4 questions about our upcoming stay and rushed us off the phone with a rude "do you have anymore questions." We will he booking a suite at the Ritz, where we where our questions were met with a wealth of information and kindness. My husband has a deep nostalgia for his childhood stays at the beaver Creek Hyatt. We had hoped to build the same memories for our child. We will be making those memories at the Ritz where they understand customer service.

I want to return once COVID is over and experience this fine hotel at its best. Pool and hot tub are great. Restos mostly closed. Had to get the driver to take us to the Westin nearby for food and drink. Small suite was very nice. A great visit except for COVID.

Soooo bummed to Post this, but...Musicians in the Lobby used to engaged people in the audience; everyone was so very pleased. Present entertainers, only interested in playing what makes them content, when asked to play average songs(oldies) REFUSED. Will say that we had an excellent server (Missy?), she was friendly and gave our party excellent service.

AMAZING resort!!! :) I went here in the summers of 2014 and 2016, and it is amazing!!! :) In the biggest suite, there was a shower with 2 rain shower jets in the ceiling. Also, there are a lot of activities for you to do. There is a waterfall hot tub, along with 4 other hot tubs. The spa (Allegria Spa) is great, with its own thermal suite called Aqua Sanitas, and the age requirement is 16 years old. The hotel is up-to-date and is located in the guard-gated community, Beaver Creek! :) 5 STARS!!! :)

Ultimate luxury and convenience. This 5-star resort offers unmatched amenities and guest service with a smile. Resort architecture Beautiful and luxurious - take a look at my photos. Staff Front desk staff is friendly but in no way exceptional. The night "turn down" host in room 4023 was a standout. Thank you. Cost This place is not for the faint of wallet. Standard room nights in ski season run $800. Then add resort fees of $50 a day. Beaver Creek Ski Resort The best skiing in America. And small lift lines. Just step off the hotel back patio and you are at the Buckaroo Gondola. Ski back right to the resort door where you are greeted with the Beaver Creek complimentary "boot-to-outdoor" slipper exchange. This service is offered to all BC skiers at the Guest Service Center Four stars? Why four stars. I find the guests here so impressed with themselves it actually diminishes the experience. Recommendation If you want the finest is skiing with luxury treatment, Park Hyatt Beaver Creek is exemplary. They get my vote

We went for our new years vacation, and everything was perfect. The location is amazing. The view from for our room was spectacular and the service was outstanding. The fitness center has everything you can ask for and has different classes everyday. The chair pilates class with Michelle was fantastic and the snowshoeing tour with Mike was such a great experience that i went back the next day this time it was with Michelle and it was the funniest adventure ever. We had dinner at the restaurant the waiter was very attentive and the food was as expected, very good. We are for sure coming back. The Valet was awesome and the new lobby is breathtaking.

I've been hearing about how beautiful this resort is and how I must stay here at least a dozen times since moving to Colorado several years ago. Well, I finally stayed here after road-tripping back to Denver and definitely had a memorable stay. From the spacious room with a mountainside view & balcony to luxurious amenities like the plush robes, Chris definitely went above and beyond ensuring we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience even though we checked in late night. No need to leave the resort if you're in the mood for breakfast as the restaurant downstairs serves until 11 am on weekdays. The food also deserves an A+ rating (see pic.) Just a quick less than 15 minute drive to Vail it's the perfect setting for your mountain getaway!

We decided with a few friends to take a long weekend getaway, and after looking at several options, we decided to stay here. We booked through the American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts, which helps get you an upgraded room (if available) and breakfast at their restaurant. When we arrived we happy to see that this is a very well taken care of resort. We upgraded to the fireside suite which is a great size room, that has a couch, 2 chairs, and 2 flat-screen Tvs. Our view was amazing. The staff have great service, and the room attendant saw that we had used the humidifier the first night, so everyday when they made over the room, they would refill the humidifier (it's the small things that add up). We didn't walk around the resort as much as we went into Vail & Aspen the 2 days that we were there. Though in the evenings we did make sure to make it back for the free s'mores and sitting by the outside fires. In all, we would definitely come back during ski-season and i can only imagine how beautiful everything looks with fresh powder on the ground.

This review is for 8100 Restaurant- This was really awful. Like REALLY awful. We had a party of 9- first, they couldn't split our checks in 4. They sat us in 2 tables for covid protocol, then one table got their food 20 minutes before the other table. The food was mediocre- not bad. But definitely not worth the money. I've been to Beaver Creek several times and this has been the worse experience in a restaurant. I'd recommend stay away for this place. We complained with the manager and he just said "ok"- no "i'm sorry you didn't have a good experience". This is not compatible with the Hyatt

Great hotel if you have kids! I dont and I still thoroughly enjoyed every bit of staying here. But for families, you have the best location for ski schools, the ice rink, and plenty of hot tubs. The lobby is massive and beautiful with views of the slopes. The staff is friendly, the rooms are nice and the beds are comfy.

We had a wonderful experience at the Hyatt. Our room was big enough, loved the service, and the atmosphere was perfect. My wife had a nice spa day, while I spent day at the pool. We will definately come back...

So this is our first night here and we are blown away. It's so beautiful here ! It's basically like a little town so you really don't need to leave the resort. There are restaurants , shopping , bars, you name it. The hotel is very nice !! Only thing I would say (which isn't a complaint , but nice to know ) is that everything here seems to be fairly pricey ... $28 for two drinks at the bar which is a lot more than what we typically spend . We are on our honeymoon so it's whatever, but just be prepared to spend some extra cash . Also, when we booked, the site made it seem that there was free parking but when we arrived we learned that valet parking is now required and it is $35 per day . Anyway, this is a lovely place and we have enjoyed ourselves so far !

Go to the Ritz Bachelors Gulch if you want to be treated like a king//queen! Go to the Hyatt Beaver Creek if you want poor generic service, where you wait an hour for one hamburger and still not get the hamburger!! Hyatt lobby renovation ripped out the Vail/BC charm and replaced it with the ambiance of an airport hotel lobby. Go to the ritz and get hot apple crumble pie at lunch, go to the Hyatt and you get a stern no desert until after 5pm lololol. The spa is generic and boring at the Hyatt, you go to the ritz and it's full zen with A+ service! I highly recommend the Ritz Bach Gulch and highly advise to stay away from the mediocre Hyatt! Ritz has everything, from impeccable humble service to pure Colorado luxury!!!

During my first visit to Beaver Creek, I stayed at Hyatt Residence Club and was very impressed with the cleanliness and quietness of the condo in which I stayed. Most everything I needed was in the room with the exception of good WiFi (or a wired connection) and - this was the reason I only got rated for stars - no climate control in the room. Instead. The fourth-floor room ad only baseboard heaters and a gas fire place. The daily outside temperatures were in the low to mid-50s and the heat from the lower floors and adjacent rooms and caused our room to stay completely uncomfortable with the heat completely off. We had to open the window to allow in outside air to make the room comfortable enough to sleep in. Otherwise it was a great experience and Beaver Creek is a cute little ski town that I highly recommend.

I stayed here for three nights and I found my stay to be very pleasant this hotel has some excellent spa services including an amazing appointment of rooms throughout the facility the hotel staff was very helpful the gym is excellent breakfast area is nice lobby is amazing and the backyard is just fabulous with amazing views of the mountain and close by there's a lot of trails rental facilities skilifts etc.

I can't say enough great things about this resort. The room was fantastic. Just put in new 4K TVs. The spa was amazing and massage therapist Nanci was really great! The dining experience was excellent. We had the Cauliflower steak! Delicious, and the service was amazing! All in all, staying at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek was fantastic. Can't wait to go back.

I've stayed at the Park Hyatt 5-6 times over the past 12-13 years, and it's an experience I look forward to each time. The hotel does an amazing job of making you feel special. The beautiful fire and Antler Bar are beautiful and a great place to have a cocktail, hot chocolate, and some snacks after a long day of skiing. I could sit here for hours reading, people watching, or just chatting with friends. I've only come in the wintertime, and my visit almost always coincides with the Birds of Prey world cup ski race on the mountain. It's one of the first ski weeks of the season, and the ski valets make sure you are well taken care of. I love that they heat your boots up and have your skis ready for you to slip right into. After your done with the slopes, it's great not to have to worry about your equipment and just hand it over to them to take care of. The fireside smores around 4 pm are not to be missed-even as an adult I never pass up on them! The breakfast buffet is a necessary indulgent at least one morning of your trip. It's expensive, but there are so many amazing options. I love the eggs dishes and the fresh cut fruit. Though I've never indulged in any spa treatments here, the space looks amazing. The outdoor hot tubs are a great way to relax tired ski muscles or just enjoy the cold weather without being cold. My next trip in the first week of December, and I am counting down the days until I'm there! This Park Hyatt is one of my favorite hotels in the world, and staying here is always a huge treat.

This was easily one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at and I travel a lot for work and frequently stay at Four Seasons and Ritz Carltons etc. the entire staff was so friendly, nice and helpful and the lobby and entry was beautiful. Loved the lived music guitarist/keyboardist in the lobby from 4-7 - he played the best songs. The rooms were very luxurious from the comfortable beds to the Le Labo bath products. I loved the fitness center it was huge and had tons of machines- all of the latest equipment. My kids loved the 3pm fresh baked chocolate chip cookies at the base followed by the s'mores happy hour at 4pm. The resort was extremely family friendly and my boys loved the playground too. We walked to dinner each night in the village which was steps away. Can't wait to come back!
