Park Pizza

So happy this pizza joint has opened up in the Glassell park neighborhood! We tried it out tonight for the first time and got the veggie and the pepp swayze pies-hot damn they were both delicious. Jessie, pizza chef extraordinaire, recommended the white sauce veggie and it did not disappoint. Really rich and balanced flavors-sauce, cheese, toppings. And if anyone here is a sucker for a perfectly chewy and crusty pizza crust, the dough on these pies is perfect. Seriously. They even delivered our pies to the Verdugo bar across the street! 5 star delivery and pies still piping hot from the oven :)

Just had a chance to try their pizza for the first time, and I am SOOO happy to have them in the neighborhood. The pizza has the perfect amount of char and crispyness. Inside of the crust is super airy. All of the ingredients are top notch. Amazing beer selection as well.

Park Pizza (and the adjoining Glassell General) is a very welcome addition to the neighborhood- especially if you find yourself at the local Dominos more than you'd like to admit. Have ordered pizzas to-go from Park four times since they've opened and the taste and quality has been top notch across the board. Their pizzas are impossible to be mad at. The crust is thin (but not skinny) and crispy with the kind of nice, subtle crunch that makes you excited to be eating a pizza. The cheese is generously applied at a depth that's a nice match to its foundation and the pepperonis are those little round cups that remind you of getting a slice at a roller rink and suddenly you're smiling before the first bite. The staff is helpful and friendly and it's never been more than a 20 minute wait. I'm sure a person could plan better and order ahead over the phone or online but so far it's been fun to be lured into ordering a pizza on the way home. If you happen to be across the street at Verdugo Bar, you can order from your table and they'll walk it over, which is pretty much the ultimate convenience.

The veggie pizza is soooo good, probably my favorite pizza I've had in Los Angeles in all my years of living here. I love the blend of cheeses and the mushrooms add a lot of savory flavor. Really excellent, high quality pizza.

Park pizza is just about 4weeks old, and we’ve been here 5 times already! The pizza is great; crust is delicious and crispy, and the team are friendly and helpful. What an awesome addition to the neighborhood!

Great pizza! We got a cheese and a pepperoni - dough, sauce and cheese all have great flavor. Will be returning to try their other pies!

1st time trying their pizzaa... They did not disapoint. Half chese with basil & have pepperoni with basil... delicious. Will def be ordering again again. Highly recommend especially if you go to thee. Verdugo bar and you are hungie!
