"Fans of eating pizza at bars (all of us?) should be excited for this takeout-only neighborhood pie shop in Glassell Park, which serves thick-crust, blistered pies right across the street from Verdugo Bar. The classic cheese pie involves tomato sauce spread on a hefty layer of cheese that’s then sprinkled with even more cheese. Plus, if you’re having a beer at Verdugo, they’ll deliver your pizza right to your seat. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Cathy Park
