Park West

Amazing place to catch a show. We originally took a seat at some chairs that were set up but decided to get closer. That ended up being the better choice because we were right up close to the stage. Probably the closest I’ve ever been to the performers. There are booth options for a group of 3-4 also. Would definitely go back.

I could write a story about this experience. It was everything I had hoped for and the way that we were treated was very much appreciated. From the moment I emailed them up until walking in the door I felt like they were all very nice. A gentleman found some foam earplug’s to help drown the sound for my baby. I left my phone in the restroom and someone brought it to me. I have hope in humanity and I will never forget this day. Thank you for making this trip so much more memorable for my daughters, mom and I 💖

Saw RY X here 10/23/24 Great show and was up close. Sound was amazing, staff were friendly and the crowd was very nice!

Fun place. Perfect size for a ~600 audience size concert. Watch your step on the way to the dance floor.

This is the smallest venue I have been to so far. The staff were nice. I had a great time at the show. It was nice being so close to the stage, it makes a cozier atmosphere for the attendees. I enjoy the smaller venues. It didn't take very long to get there from the train station. All in all I had a good experience there.

Not exactly the ideal venue for an artist you want to dance to. There’s a small floor in the front and tables/booths in the back. There is a bar to the left of the stage which was very nice for getting drinks during the show.

It's a good venue IF you know where to position yourself. If it's your first time here, do yourself a favor and grab a seat that faces FORWARD! I don't understand how they could design a music venue with seats that face perpendicular to the stage, thereby requiring you to crank your head left or right for 2-3 hours just to enjoy the show. Whatever design or architect is responsible should find a different career path, because it is such a basic, element thing to consider for a music venue. It's actually funny watching how uncomfortable people that choose to sit in those seats are. Like, how did you think that was a good seat? Aside from that, the venue is pretty open and a decent place to see live music.

Had a wonderful time! GA seating was a little tricky, so i definitely advise arriving when doors open to figure out where you want to sit. Sound quality was great, good bathrooms, drinks were alright but definitely pricey.

Great environment, staff attentive to ADA. My complete experience was absolutely fun!

I have a few issues with this venue. 1. Will Call line wait is too long for the short line of people. Open up both sides. 2. Too loud for the size, the spreakers crackled many times, the sound engineer does not know what they are doing. 3. Chicago has a no smoking indoor rules which makes me love going to concerts again. The pot smoking was out of hand and I often felt sick to my stomach. People smoked in front of security, they don't care. Didn't make for a good long drive home as I am sure the contact high was on. Stupid on part of the venue. 4. Almost 17 bucks a beer. Worst prices for a Chicago venue. Would rather drive to MLK or Indo for a show instead of Park West.

I got tickets from Do312 to attend a comedy show for John Bishop, a British standup comedian. I had not been to this venue in years and I looked forward to checking it out. We went through security and headed in, only to find that the layout was tables, booths, and counters, 85% of which were marked 'Reserved'. This was disappointing but not surprising, esp for free tickets. We got seats at a counter and ordered drinks at the bar. It's not clear if waitstaff served the area where we sat, so we got our own drinks. The bartender was efficient and friendly. We were able to see and hear fine from where we were, and John Bishop is definitely worth checking out. (warning he is not PC so he's not for everyone, but we found him funny enough). The restrooms were ok too, clean, and with an ATTENDANT no less! If you don't have cash, she takes Venmo and probably other CashApps. Make sure you please take care of them if/when you see them.

Attended a book signing event here . The staff was Amazing and helpful . Event was clean and pretty cool and we managed to grab a bite to eat next door before hand . Would Love to come tow. Concert here

First time at the Park West to see Josh Johnson w/a friend. Nothing really spectacular about the venue or the service. The show and the comedians were awesome!

Great ambience and not one bad seat in the house! Can't believe I have never been there.... Well ki and comfortable seats. Will certainly come back for another show if something nice is happening here.

I liked it. You can see mid range acts at a very nice venue. Equipped with nice seats with a good view and general admission standing only as well. Best if both worlds. The drinks were as pricey as you'd expect . Beer and a double gin and tonic was $42 bucks plus tip. Nice bar tender and not a crowded long line. Descent amount of parking on the street, but it was a Wednesday. Nice place and I hope to be back soon.

We go to Park West every year for the Warren Miller screening which announces ski season, and it's always a pleasure! The staff here is very pleasant and friendly. Upon entering, our vaccination cards were checked as well as IDs. If over 21, you are given a wristband so you don't have to mess with pulling out your ID everytime you go to the bar. There are two bars within the event space, which I imagine makes ordering drinks here during a busy show pretty easy. The space is intimate, while still being able to hold a decent number of people. We sat in one of the cozy booths and had a server, making the whole process of order drinks even easier! Once seated, you don't have to wear a mask. They have a full bar with lots of options! I had a virtue cider, but took a sip of a margarita and it was tasty. While I've never seen a concert here, I would LOVE to! Parking in this area of Lincoln Park can be kind of difficult, so definitely give yourself plenty of time to find a spot if driving (but ubering is probably the better option).

Neat place to see a show. We saw Samantha Fish. It is a pretty intimate setting, not a bad seat in the house. Sound is good. Table service was good, not at all pushy.

This was easily one of the best live entertainment venues I have been to! There is so much space and yet you also feel like you're getting an intimate viewing experience. I honestly don't think there is a bad place to plant yourself for a show. I believe the show I attended was nearly sold out and there was so much room. I chose to enjoy the show from the top level instead of being down in the pit, and honestly, best decision (for me at least)! There are bars allll over this venue also, so no long lines waiting for drinks. Also, the staff that I encountered were all so courteous and kind. Definitely will be looking to attend a show here again in the future!

This is a cool venue! It's definitely different than any other venue in Chicago I've been to. I came for a live podcast recording, and after we waited in line we could only find seats up on the top level. The view was still decent, but the overall vibe of the venue was lacking a bit. They had a good drink selection which was nice, and it is super conveniently located which I loved. Not my favorite Chicago venue but I'm sure I'll be back for a show in the future!

An awesome show venue that doesn't have a bad viewing spot in the house. Good acoustics and great sight lines no matter where in the venue you are. Capacity is about 1,000 people so you get the close and personal experience with the artist. We saw the Hu and were situated on the rail. The place was packed, but comfortably so. The band put on a phenomenal show with great energy. Bar prices are consistent with other music venues. We had to show proof of our Covid vaccination and wear a mask. Not a fan of the mask after having been vaccinated, but it's a small sacrifice in order for live music to resume. We found a parking spot in the neighborhood with relative ease. A great venue and we had an excellent experience. I'd definitely consider a return trip for the right artist.

My 2nd visit here yeah but it looks like is like a possibly had a minor renovation.. I was here for Tabitha Brown book tour nice and intimate. We were able to find seating to the right of the stage which wasn't so cramped with people. The air conditioner was definitely on on and I was glad that I had and a blazer on I didn't get anything from the bar but a lot of people did in the service was kinda slow and that in a bar staff seemed kind of inexperienced the one young lady kept coming to our section and messing up people's orders But for a small Intimate setting this place is perfect

Cabaret style venue with an intimate performance experience. I didn't get any drinks but the staff was attentive and hustling so I'm sure it's a wonderful evening out whether you indulge or not!

Great venue thats been around for decades. Last minute purchase of tix to see the great Mike Campbell. As any music aficionado will know, he was the former lead guitarist for Tom Petty and now heading up The Dirty Knobs. It was a high energy show and Mike and his band rocked the place all night. Great sound. 18.00 for a vodka tonic was exorbitant though.

Super cool venue, with a variety of options for seating. Went here for a concert, and I loved that we could either sit in the back or on the balcony, or join up front for a GA/Pit situation. Very good visibility from all areas. There's a bar with a variety of drink options. The folks at the front are very nice and diligent as well. No complaints!

One of my very favorite places to see a show. It's a great size with excellent sight lines and sound. Its easy to park around there as well. The servers are quick and friendly. Pretty cool not to have to leave your seat to get a beer or something. They have a small baloney that is the great spot if it gets too crowded downstairs. I also think they tend to draw a great mix of talent here...there is a lot of history in this place. Seeing someone here is a very special intimate experience that you will not forget

I love the organization of this place. The workers were extremely organize in checking everyone in. There was.no pushing not shoving. Parents brought their little kids which I was totally amazing since it was rock music and it was extremely loud for their ear drums. The place is very nice and very romantic I might add. The only thing I did not agree it was the price on the drinks and also the forced tip on the servers it was not optional. We had a amaretto sour and bayley one shot on the rocks I means drop of Bayleys for 35 dollars too much money . On the way out same thing very organized and the crowd just left. The bathrooms were very clean. That's news to me since most of the places in chicago the bathrooms are pitiful not here at park west. I had an amazing time. I will come back Negative the drinks

When here recently for any event from Miller Lite called tap the future with Daymond John from Shark Tank. We have not been here for many, many years and this place looks like it is stuck in time. It looks just like I remembered it. A large space with a beautiful Dome ceiling and lots of room to sit and socialize. The Acoustics are great and you can hear the entertainment from anywhere in the room. I was told that you have to pay extra if you want a booth near the front, but I don't know if this is true or not. It was an enjoyable night in a place that holds many events and musical performances.

I've only been to one show here but this place is great! the line moved quickly and the security and ticket staff were all pros. there are at least four bars -- one full bar near the entrance and two fill bars in the balcony upstairs, and another on the dance floor that I *think* only serves cans/bottles. the balcony was open to GA, not sure if that's always the case but seems likely because it's all stools and standing up there, no numbered seats. sound at the show was great. they had one technical problem with a screen that wouldn't work but it didn't change the show really. there is a section of reserved tables and lounge seating that's positioned kind of awkwardly, between the main dancefloor pit in front of the stage and another standing room area in the back by the entrance. I think it's separated from the pit by a few steps, not very raised and not blocked off or anything. it makes sense for a mellower concert but felt kind of weird for a show where most of the crowd is dancing. not a huge detractor though and definitely would come back here, loved the size of the space and how well run it was. I do think it's an AXS tickets app venue if I'm remembering correctly so download the app ahead of time if you don't have it.

Saw a comedy show here recently. Process of getting in and getting drinks was easy, even though a vodka soda with double shots is $20.....also there was a older staff member who just seemed very put out when we asked her to explain something to us and her demeanor wasn't the nicest. overall a fun and nice experience!

I attended Park West for the first time almost 2 weeks ago for a concert. My friend purchased the tickets and it was confusing because we were under the impression that it was a standing only concert. When we arrived inside it was more like first come first serve seating and once that seating was filled there was standing room. If we would have known that we would have definitely arrived much earlier considering i didn't work to attend the concert. As we were standing around before the concert we saw several booths with reserved signs on them so we asked a host how do you reserve a booth which she mentioned calling a week ahead to reserve but stated that if the person didn't come that we could ask another host if we could sit there. When the seating host walked by a middle to old age lady I stopped her and said hi and stated we was wondering if we could sit in a booth and i was just stating we had never been there before as she Rudely cut me off and said I you would listen... I laughed it off and let her talk. She told us she didn't have room for 2 but if we didn't mind sharing with someone she could seat us.. Surprisingly we ended up sitting in a booth with a nice group of people so we were happy about that! The concert was nice and the view was good throughout the venue i think considering it's not very large. The drinks were pretty pricey about $ 40 for 2 drinks but overall nice place. I would probably go again if there was a artist i liked there now that i know how the venue functions.

Great show but needed more people at the door to explain the admission you reserved\etc. Line moved decently around the building. Drink service staff was prompt and friendly

Went here for a free Big Sean concert hosted by Pandora recently, and I was surprised in the best way when I walked through Park West's front doors! I've been to a lot of music venues all over the country, and this one is pretty unassuming from the outside: Aside from its Terminator-esque signage, it could just be any other clubby dance venue. But once you walk in, the open concept (thanks for the term, House Hunters) makes for an airy, comfortable, exciting space to see a show, because even when it got packed, it was fairly easy to walk around and dance during the concert. When I visited the restrooms for the first time about two hours after arriving, I noticed they were very well-kept, which is *very important* when you've got a bunch of drunk concertgoers who are rushing in and out of the stalls so as not to miss a moment of the show! So thanks for that, Park West patrons and employees! Y'all rock. My only slight disappointment is that the bar areas were so very tight, and there was only one main bar where everyone was packed like sardines, and a smaller side bar. Granted, this was an event where there was free alcohol, so it could've been crazier than usual, but I do think an extra makeshift bar area on the other side of the room might help the flow of traffic ever-so-slightly next time! :) Overall, I really surprisingly enjoyed this venue and I would suggest seeing a show here, as the atmosphere is fantastic and it's very clean.

This is one of my favorite venues to see a show at. I go to A LOT of live shows. I have gone to Park West to see Matthew Sweet and most recently K.Flay. First, Park West does not nickel and dime you like other venues I would mention (I'm talking about you HOB). I always find a place to sit, however you can go to the Standing room only section if you prefer to be closer to the stage. Many times you'll find artists in the lobby signing copies of their LP. There are several bars which makes the wait time short. The drinks are also reasonably priced. There is a bathroom attendant - this is helpful to know - bring a few dollars for a tip. Their bathrooms are actually clean. There is not a bad seat in the house. Who ever designed Park West was smart. I love this place - you will not be unhappy attending a show here.

I first came here to see Ron Pope in concert. It's possible to find metered parking in the area but give yourself some time to search since it's populated area. I appreciated the quick, hassle free entry without a bottlenecked line out the door. The ornate domed ceiling, and mixed bar and table seating made me feel like I was in a theater at a Casino. It's a very chill and simple venue which is great for an intimate artist- no barrier or guard rails between you and the artist, and a good opportunity for the artist to interact with the crowd. The sound system was good- everything sounded very articulate. When it comes to concert venues, I have no complaints as long as I can enjoy the music.

MINUS the artist I came to see, and the waitress that served my guest and I, the owner is extremely disrespectful, arrogant, rude and uncooperative. My guest and i were seated well before the concert started and had no existing issues. Our waitress introduced herself and served us with no error or issues. When the venue started to become packed, we leaned up top the couch back rest to see better. She told us as long as we didn't put our feet on the couches, We were ok. The seats are very low to the ground, so there was no need to put our feet on the furniture anyway. After a while, The owner came over and was YELLING at my guest and i, to "get off of her couches". Confused? I asked her what the problem was? She pointed her finger in my face, berating us like children. We had not been disruptive, irate, disrespectful... none of that. I attempted to speak with her, like an adult but she refused to hear me or listen to what i had to say and STORMED OFF. I wandered up front to inquire about management and security , only to find out, the woman who just scolded me like a 2 yr old, was in fact the owner. Disappointing. I ended up finding her and finally speaking to her in a more civilized conversation. I explained to her that several people were sitting on top of the wall and barricade of our area we were seated in and we simply could not see. With the approval of our waitress "as long as we didn't put our feet up" we were fine. She still had an attitude with her exchange but eventually agreed to have the randoms move, but by this time a bad taste was left in my mouth. I don't know if the owner was frustrated with the event, having a bad day, or is ALWAYS in this mood, but this behavior is horrible and this is no way to treat guests who have chosen to spend money in your establishment. We didn't commit any crimes or vandalize her place - as I'm sure she probably assumed. I can't help but wonder if race played a part in her distaste and dismissiveness. Either way lady, YOU ARE RUDE and i hope your energy changes for the sake of your business. We did not appreciate your child like behavior or the way you handle us after we spent a considerable amount of money in your "section" I left displeased with my experience and your waitress had to suffer for it!!!!! She also expressed to us that you are often a B***H and your vibe and energy is unpleasant. SEEK THERAPY! It helps. Your energy shouldn't be this negative when you service the community. As I'm writing this, several concert goers are "violating" her - ass to couch - demands *rolls eyes* but of course - she's no where to be found. Only available to scold and display crazed energy towards the brown and black people. Approach and delivery is everything in representation of your business!!!!!!!

I've been to Park West a couple of times for events and had a great time. My review is a little bias because what I love most is how convenient it is to get here from my house. I usually walk or take the #22 bus on Clark Street. The venue itself is pretty small and cozy. I'm an early bird so I always arrive at the event early to get a good seat. The events I've been to here included drinks so not sure on the prices, but my friend said it's pretty pricey, but expected with this area.

This is a wonderful spot for going out with a group of friends or a date night after dinner. I and my girlfriend went here to listen to electronic music - Goldroom and some other DJs. It was amazing! Since we didn't make table reservations, we sat at the bar for a while and went to the main dance floor afterwards. Very nice crowd with people from different age groups although mostly people in their early 30s, but depends on the type of event, I guess! I will be on the lookout for interesting events here and attend frequently! Making a table reservation might be wise although they cost more but totally worth it!

I attended a Grace Vanderwaal concert here in November of 2017 and I have no complaints! It was a GA concert, so we arrived between 4-5 hours before the concert started and ended up being about 10th in line. The line formed right by the door, with the help of some metal barricades, and looped around the side of the building. Once inside, we got right up next to the stage! It was incredibly nice because there were no barriers, creating a very intimate show. The building itself was in nice condition and the bathrooms were well maintained. I'd say the acoustics were great, but we were also right in front of the performer... We had no bad experiences seeing Grace Vanderwaal, as all the fans (although extremely excited young girls) and staff were friendly and helpful to one another. The event itself was well organized and prepared for. All in all, our experience was great and we would definitely catch another concert here!

Disgustingly loud. Door security groped me just a little too much on my nether regions. Regular security guards were judgemental and unhelpful. Light beers are $9. When asking the price of drinks, I was told "You probably can't afford it anyway." Still reading? Go somewhere else. This place is nothing more than a B-grade disco cesspool of white-privilege soccer-mom spawns and their hellish attitudes. I'm sorry, what? Did you say something? Can't hear you, still need ear drum surgery after attending a show here. What? Say that again? Bad. Avoid.

I was lucky enough to attend a recent benefit here, A Night With Oscar, benefitting Center of Halstead. The benefit itself was wonderful, but of course this review is for the venue. I loved this venue. Apparently, it's been around for over a hundred years under various names, but it seemed state of the art to me. There were so many people here, and yet it never seemed too crowded. There were two huge bars, and the tiered seating was really cool, with little four tops ringing the front part of the second tier. We were lucky enough to be seated there, where we could see everything. The party was an Oscar party, and there was a pretty complicated A/V setup, and it was perfect! The restrooms were spotless, but that was perhaps due to the fact that this event was about 80% gay men and the ladies rooms were very lightly used compared to other events, lol! I loved this venue and this party!

Great venue to see an intimate concert. We saw The Proclaimers. Wonderful show! The seating is comfortable. Tables for this concert. Waitstaff patrolling and taking orders. We went to the bar and the two bartenders we had were great! The hostess was also very helpful. If you get the chance, see a show here!

This a nice theater. It's clean and has a nice large stage and I have visited this theater every year for the past 10 years for an event. They need to do some updates. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of the staff and the prices for drinks. The wait staff is atrocious and the prices are outrageous. Between the two of us we each had four drinks and our tab was over 100 dollars. I understand Chicago isn't the cheepest city but the prices here far exceed other venues like this in the area.

A referee, drunk soldier, and Sandy & Danny (from Grease) made their way to a party at the Park West last night. If it seems like an odd group to be hanging out on a Saturday night I should probably clue you in that it was Halloween. I've been to many events at the Park West and think it's a fabulous venue to throw a par-tay. There were approximately 1000 people at the party last night and although it was a bit crowded there was still room to move around and getting a drink from the 2 bars was not a problem. However, the bathroom with only 5 stalls is a problem (especially when people are taking extra long because of their costumes). I haven't seen any musicians at the Park West yet, but I do think it would be the perfect venue for that as well. My friend also attended a wedding here last weekend and said it was absolutely beautiful.

I double checked the address and photos ~ yup, this is where I was. What am I missing? First, this is NOT an easy venue to reach unless you live walking distance in Lincoln Park. Second, no reserved seats, you buy your ticket which gets you seating, first come, first served. Hence, people were lining up, in the rain, waiting for the doors to open. Third, and I would have to think there must be a city code on this, the line for the ladies "comfort station" was about equal to the line to get in the doors. 6 stalls to service hundreds of people. Why not add a few port-a-potties ~ oh wait, once you exit you can't get back in the doors (except those who went out to smoke at the intermission). Fourth, the chairs are very uncomfortable, the booths are positioned so that at least one person has to turn at a funny angle to see the stage. Yes, the servers were very efficient and checked if you needed a drink. I would have to think twice about ever visiting this venue again.

I've been going to the Park West for a long time. Each time I'm always thrilled with the intimate atmosphere. The only thing is waiting in line outside during colder weather. It's fine for me, but when taking my parents who are getting up there in age it is more challenging. It would be nice if the Park West would consider who will be attending certain concerts and prepare accordingly. Maybe some heat lamps and chairs available for those who need it? In any case, I still love this place!

I have a tendency to ignore things in my own backyard. That's how I treated the Park West for many years; I've lived in the neighborhood for nearly a decade, but visited for the first time a few years ago. I've been to Park West about four times now for a few Moth Grand Slams and most recently for a performance of The Piano Guys. The space is different than most of the other venues I've been to in Chicago; it's a mix of cozy tables, booths and regular chairs or stools - it reminds of a place that could pull off dinner theater. The acoustics here are good and it's nice that there are a few bars throughout the venue and servers walking the floor. Of course drinks are expensive, but that's par for the course. The venue is really clean, the floor isn't sticky and it doesn't have the faint stink of stale cigarette smoke that will probably never disappear. What I don't like about the space is that it's completely open seating (at least in my experience) and some of the seats kind of stink. If you don't arrive early, you might be stuck craning to see past people in the row of stools in front of you or relying on the balcony mirror to get a decent view of the stage. Or, if you're lucky enough to snag a table, you'll get a nice view, provided you twist around to face the stage; for me, that gets old, fast. Maybe it's different for get up and dance performances, but none of the shows I've seen have been like that. Street parking options are limited, but Park West is transit-friendly (near 22, 36, 151, and walking distance from Armitage or Sedgewick Brown) and in close proximity to a few pay lots. Bottom line: It's a nice mid-sized venue to see a show.

I have seen so many shows and events here over the years. It's still, I think, one of the best places to see a live act in Chicago. There's not a bad vantage point in the house, the acoustics are great, and it's easy to get to. They book COOL acts and events here as well.

This has always been one of my favorite spots to come see a show. It's small and intimate with wonderful acoustics. I recommend after you purchase your tickets calling and reserving a booth for the event. Yah it costs extra (about $10 per person more) but you also can show up as the event begins and have your booth waiting for you....not to mention table service. The last event I attended for trombone shorty was over-sold though... people everywhere, filling every hallway and inch of free space and kind of ruined the intimate experience. It's been a while since I have been to the theater so hopefully this isn't a new trend. In the past it hasn't been a problem. Parking isn't easy in the area either so there is that. The last time I visited I hit the restaurants 1/2 mile west on halsted valet my car and then you can walk or jump in a Uber. Defiantly a great opportunity to see a band in this smaller venue and still one of my favorites in Chicago.

I give them an extra star for being within a easy half-mile walking distance from the Brown Line's Sedgwick Station. Since parking in this area is a complete pain in the butt I was relieved to discover this fact. A nice medium sized venue with several bars and servers who come around. The sound and lighting was perfect. The only 2 gripes I have are: -Bathroom attendants. Really? I'm coming to a comedy show not a night out at a swanky steakhouse. Sure it creates a job but an unnecessary one that makes most people uncomfortable in my opinion. I don't normally carry any cash, either, so I had nothing to tip the lady. Had I any inkling there would be a bathroom attendant I would have brought a couple of bucks with me. -The seating closest to the stage, at least for this comedy show, is a bit awkward. They have the tables radiating vertically out from the stage (think of your crayon drawing sun as the stage and the rays of the sun as the tables). This wouldn't be too bad if they didn't cram as many as possible up there and then put at least 3 chairs too many on each side of the table. Once this place fills up the servers have a heck of a time getting up and down between the tables for drink orders. And if one person needs to get up and move several other people need to dislodge themselves first. It is my understanding you can call ahead to reserve one of the more comfy booths, ranging from seating just 2 to a group. I'm not sure if this cost any extra or not but it would be worth it. The seating otherwise is first come first serve so COME EARLY. Couples DO NOT show up 10 min before the show and expect you and your sweetie will get to sit together. You won't.

This is a classic venue for Lincoln Park Area N Chicago. Used to go & dj at all ages parties here that would end at 9/10pm on SATs. They popped off. then they'd kick all the kids out onto the streets and turned it into at 21+ respectable mega-club. {DOn't recall there being dope deep house night or dj legends playing there). Now, The place is great in tradition. Great Venue for shows and concert. Drinks were good. bathrooms clean.Sound great. Vantage points perfect. I was a little perplexed at the angle mirrors above all the box room seats. Almost allowing everyone on the ground level to see what is happening on the table in the booths. Interesting methodology. I still don't know where the hell everybody parks at but it works as a good amount of transport method have to be NMT.

We came to visit for a first time and enjoyed the Chromeo show. We were waiting for an Uber and one of the trash bag bouncers named Melody told us we couldn't wait in the empty inside area for a ride but had to wait outside in the rain. Super disappointed with Melody and I really hope the management figured this out. Been to many of bars/concerts and that was a first.

This is a great venue for a medium-sized show. There are no bad seats, as many have said. Whether you are on the floor or on the balcony or have to stand on the stairs or aisle, you can always see without being in someone else's line of sight. The acoustics are great. I've heard Josh Ritter both solo/acoustic and with full band, plus Neko Case solo/acoustic, and they all sounded great. Also, the staff are friendly and seem to be familiar with the artists. It's true that the parking is tough by 7 pm, and there are few drinking and dining options in the immediate vicinity. But if you want to hoof up Lincoln a half-mile there is plenty to do. One other quibble is that the lobby is small, and they set up the merchandise table there, leading to a significant traffic jam at the end of the show.

Laid back, cool place to see a show. It's nice since if you want to get real close to the stage it's wide enough for you to be able to do so. If you prefer to lounge a bit and sit in one of the booths you'll still have a great view. The acoustics are great. And overall the vibe is relaxed and friendly.

Came here with my cousin for the naked magic show...which was ok. I had bought tickets for the balcony but when we got there, the balcony was closed. My cousin is really short and would not have been able to see all the way in the back. I asked an employee if we could sit at the bar and watch and she said no until I reminded her that where we were sitting were not the seats that I bought. Then, you have to buy $20 worth of alcohol to use your credit card which again I thought was pretty tacky. Overall an alright venue but you can see from the picture that it was not sold out and there was no need for all these rules.

I've been attending shows regularly at Park West for years, typically loving the intimacy of the venue. Last night I waited at the front of the line to be up close to a favorite artist and, for some reason, they've removed the seating / tables on the main floor. Since I'm pregnant, I couldn't stand in a pit and, (by sheer luck of knowing someone -- NOT venue consideration), ended up seated at one of their "VIP" booths. This seemed like a wonderful score at first but, once the crowd filled, I could not see *at all*. The stage / seating areas are both so low that even short people in front of me stood taller than I was, seated. Just a really inconsiderate, terrible change that left SO many people around us complaining they couldn't see -- those seated and standing. What's more -- I went to contact the venue, instead of yelping, and there's no customer service email. Real bummer. Very important FYI -- venue set up has totally changed and visibility is low unless you want to get there early and crowd the front. No consideration of pregnant woman. And defiantely not worth a booth "VIP experience" -- as you REALLY can't see from the booths in this new set-up. Not a bit. I've attached a photo of my view.

Love this venue. It's swanky, yet laid back. There are plenty of seats/booths/tables at the outer perimeter of the venue, and open standing room towards the stage. I saw Gabe Dixon Band and Marc Broussard here this past week. Parking around the area is a pain in the ass though. The last couple times I've been to Park West, I've resorted to dishing out $20 at the public parking garage around the corner.
