The 8 Cantonese Restaurants That Make Me Want to Move to Canada | Bon Appétit
"At Parker Place inside Parker Place mall, the move is to get the roast pork and duck, which is glossy, a touch gamey, and totally underrated (people are sleeping on this!)." - ByElyse Inamine
Renowned for its exceptional BBQ offerings, this place stands out, especially for its delectable BBQ duck, savory soy sauce chicken, and notably, the exquisite BBQ pork. The chef's mastery in carving the meats into diverse and tantalizing cuts adds to the culinary experience.

The loonng lineups at this place needs no explanation. This place has been around for decades and STILL serves up quality & tasty BBQ meats.
My friends from Seattle sometimes will make a special trip to this place just for their crispy BBQ pork. The meat is lean & not too fatty. This is my family’s favourite.
TIP: buy a big piece and cut it yourself cuz you want the meat to stay juicy when you serve it at home. Get there early and be prepared to wait in line. Parking is a challenge at the best of times. It’s THE best place for Asian BBQ meats in BC. Definitely worth the drive!

Best taste balance of BBQ pork that I tried here in LML. $18/pound as of Sep 29, 2023. Not sure whether prices are all up but months ago the average price in many places was $11-12/pound. Will come back definitively.

OMGaaaahhhh YUM-YUM-YUMMY! this is probably the best roasted pork I’ve ever eaten. It’s so crispy and tasty. You are able to request more fatty or less fatty cuts. We also ordered bbq pork sausage and bbq pork. The bbq was a bit too sweet but still good. It was worth the time we spent standing in line for this. This place is located inside of the Parker Place Mall. Follow the line -you won’t miss it. Also —it’s CASH only.

Completely average level Chinese BBQ meats. The pig tongue was cold and not juicy. The BBQ Pork was decent. The soy sauce chicken was alright. The roast pork was okay. Rice was good.

You will see the line and smell the roast pork and BBQ pork when you get there.
I've heard so much about it and I had way too high of expectation. I mean it was good but I've had better in HK barring those in HK are Michelin stars. Still. So I'll give it a 4 stars.

There is definitely a hidden gem in Parker place! It’s bbq meat!! Anyone tried before?
I heard of their name for a long time. Tbh, this is my very first time to give a try for it! As every time there’s a long queue outside... I hesitate to do so:P
One thing I need to highlight that their takeout box has make a big hole on their cover. It is for keeping their condition in a perfect way. You know what? After I back home(I think after 20-30mins), they are still warm... and those Crispy Pork Belly skin are super crispy!!!!
They are totally out of my expectations and I highly recommend this shop to you guys!

$18/lb for roast pork, jowls
$21 for half a roast duck
Spent about $67? Was worth about 3 days worth of food /dinner for 2 people.
Roast pork skin reheated in oven next day was stil crispy. The skin was truly the best I’ve had.. it’s a really good close to a chicharron.
But I waited in line for 30-45 mins for it on. Sunday afternoon. It’s kinda worth 30 mins if you have not eaten toast pork for a long time and you’re buying for special occasion.
Also a tip, maybe ask them to not chop it into such tiny pieces. We had such random small n big pieces. Also maybe avoid getting the rib if possible~ you’ll end up paying for a lot of bone/ end pieces.. tough and dry pieces.
