Visiting from Virginia, read the reviews and decided to give this place a try. Ordered two veggie dogs, beef hot dog and hamburger with two milkshakes. Food was cold and burnt. Ordered vanilla milkshake and got a strawberry. Milkshake did not taste like ice cream….just milk. I was really disappointed. I will not be back

Google
Our family ate here during a visit to Greensboro. The burgers, hot dog, fries, and milkshakes were all delicious! We had five different flavors of milkshakes, and they were all a hit and generous in size. The location, near a park, is great if you have kids interested in running around, too. Highly recommend!

I can see this as being part of our community for a long time. It is simple, throwback, flavorful and includes Kris’ special loving touch. Hot dogs and burgers and crinkle cut fries with Lawry’s seasoning. Go check out the latest from one of Greensboro’s food entrepreneurs and culinary rock star! This in LeBauer Park is a big win!!! When you order ask for a membership application for the Kris Fuller fan club!

Google
This is exactly what Greensboro needed downtown, a casual walk-up window style food spot with burgers, dogs, fries and shakes. Not to mention its nestled right in between a local beer spot and a huge family-friendly park. Did I forget to mention it's also a vegan paradise? Almost every menu option has a vegan alternative. Perfect place for a family outing, friend meet up, first date, or a pre-game option for a Tanger Center event, Grasshoppers' game, or music on the lawn performance. This place is a hit and a future staple.

Google
I should have taken the picture before I started but I couldn't resist. This place is great and Kris did another amazing job of a restaurant in GSO! Perfect style of food for this spot and I couldn't be happier to have this here in town. The caramel crunch milkshake is like a big glass of cinnamon that crunch milk - I highly recommend it!

When I first tried this a few years back, I wasn't too happy. This time around, I was impressed with the food. I had a cheddar burger and fries. I will be back again to try again!

Google
Hotdogs are amazing! It was super cold outside, but it was worth it. Love the variety of hotdogs. All beef weiners too!!

Google
Great lunch spot for downtown lunch crowd. Quick, affordable and delicious food. Cool twists on hotdogs and hamburgers if you want!

Yelp
I stopped to grab a quick bite on my way to a show at Tanger last week. If you're looking for a simple, classic cheese burger at a reasonable price, this is your spot! Located right across the street in LeBauer Park, it's a small stand alone, walk up shop. They have a few options of burgers and hot dogs, but very standard, basic no frills bites. There was a decent crowd gathered assuming for the show at the Tanger center, but they moved quickly and get the freshly cooked smash burger turned out quickly. It had great flavor, and hit the spot. I'll absolutely visit Parkside next time I go to a show or am in that part of town looking for a quick bite. Hard to beat a $7 cheese burger!

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised! I've been past this place more times than I can count and have never ordered anything because I thought it was just going to be basic. I was shocked to see the extensive menu of craft dogs and burgers with interesting ingredients! I ordered the Tokyo Drift and my friend orders the All The Way dog and both were super delicious! The quality of the hotdog itself was really good, and we also ordered fries and it was also really good! Would definitely come back.

Yelp
Stopped by while waiting for a show at Tanger and they were fast, fresh, and delicious! The Chicken "Dogs" come as a pair... 2 hot dog rolls filled with chicken tenders perfectly crispy dressed your choice of "Parkside" or "Nashville Hot". I got Parkside and loved every minute of it. If you're looking for great people-watching while you eat deliciousness... this is it!

Yelp
Classic Burger and Hot Dog walk up shop in Lebauer Park. Very quick service and friendly. I got the All the Way and it was perfection! Great place to enjoy classic lunch in the park. Love sitting outside listening to good music!

Yelp
I was in Greensboro with my toddler son to see Blippi live at the Tanger Center. I wasn't sure where we were going to eat, but we left early in hopes of grabbing a bite before the show. We parked, hoped out, and just started walking to where the people were sitting and eating. As we got closer, we realized this cute little spot was there. The line was long, but it moved pretty quickly. Several other families had the same idea that we did. You could pull up the menu by scanning a QR Code, and there were a few laminated ones available. I grabbed a menu before it was our turn in order to expedite the process while trying to wrangle my impatient toddler. We ordered a plain hotdog with no bun, the Betta Chedda burger, fries, a Mexican coke, and water. I didn't get to taste the hot dog and my kid wasn't interested, the burger was loaded with bacon. I wish they were more generous with the onions. But overall it was a decent burger. The fries were the right amount of crispy and were seasoned well. My son liked them and he is very picky. They had a variety of other items that included vegan options, and a non-dairy icecream!! This cute spot is at Lebauer Park so if you have kiddos, fun can be had by everyone (they sell alcohol and there's a bar across from it).

Yelp
The wait is always worth it! Perfect food for a park lunch or quick bite while attending an event at LeBauer Park. The Tokyo Drift is my favorite...think hotdog sushi fusion. Quick service once you order.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was tasty, but a bit underwhelming for the price. Service was good and friendly. The atmosphere was great because of the location.
google avatar

LaTanya T.

Yelp
I wasn't sure what to expect but the sandwich was decent. Just a heads up that they do not accept cash, which can cause a problem for some people. A young lady in front of me could not pay for her bill because she only had cash. Of course I paid for her, but people are not always friendly.

Yelp
Great place for a cheap snack. Got two hot dogs and fries and a pineapple shake. Shake was great with chunks of pineapple and crumbles of cookie. You can also get a cheer wine 'float' where they give you the bottle and a glass of ice cream. Classic. Perfect snack by the park

Yelp
Parkside Pull-Up is convenient to the History Museum and Lebauer Park and offers burgers and hot dogs and ice cream. I stumbled upon it as I left the museum and thought it would be a good option before my afternoon food tour. The menu is posted near the window to order and service is very friendly and helpful as I had questions. The food is cooked to order so it does take a little while to be ready but not too long. Although I could see a wait at busier times. Your name is taken so you will be called up to the window to get your order. I went with a cheeseburger and fries and a Mexican Coke with real sugar. I was happy to find Coke as everywhere I had been just offered Pepsi. I don't drink soda often but when I do I want a Coke. The burger was really good as were the few fries I ate. I like the thicker fries. I decided not to finish those as I wanted to be hungry for the tour and the burger was filling me up. I'd eat here again as the food, service and prices were great.

Yelp
If you're looking for a cheap bite to eat while visiting Lebauer Park, this is definitely your spot! Is it the best burger and hotdog in the world? No. Is it perfect for a cheap bite if you're passing through or chilling in the park? Most definitely. The hotdog was standard. Your basic toppings. The fries were good but also basic. The burger was great - seasoned nicely and I actually really liked the nacho cheese on it. The sloppier it is the better it tastes IMO! The best part of the meal though are the prices. Definitely not somewhere that's going to break the bank - especially if you are bringing kids along. It's also nice to have a place you can enjoy a hotdog/cheeseburger if you're getting a beer from lawnservice. A match made in heaven being paired together. Overall it's a place I'd love to bring my daughter to if we are hanging out in the park on the greenery or at the splash pad. I want to try one of their milkshakes next time for sure!

Yelp
My daughters and I tried this cute spot out today for an early dinner. Beautiful location and awesome seating. I love the concept. The girls decided on a hotdog and a cheeseburger. Both with only ketchup! The burger has a great crust that you can only get from smashing it on to a flat top grill. Perfectly good for the babies but I wanted something special. I had the Crab Roll. This guy is like a sushi that went to a cook out and walked out in a hotdog bun. In the best way. I really enjoyed it! The avocado was very fresh and creamy and really complemented the touch of heat in the spicy crab salad. Downsides: The service at the window. There was not very much direction for ordering, or any welcome as you came up? It seemed to be this way when others approached as well. I forgot to order drinks when we placed our order and it wasn't suggested either. (TOTALLY my error, but most places ask) And unfortunately there was a hair in my crab salad, it happens, still sucks.

Yelp
PHENOMENAL! The mastermind behind Crafted has done it again. This is such a neat concept and it is very well executed - a modern take on 1950s drive up fare. There are plenty of classics available, and some out there combos if you're feeling adventurous, such as the Crabby Patty and Tokyo Drift, a burger and hotdog adorned with spicy crab mix, avocado, and fried onions. I can't stop thinking about them - they were that good. The ice cream/milkshake menu looks amazing, but I didn't get to try it this time. Get over here! It's a perfect spot to grab a bite before a show at the Tanger Center.

Yelp
A new concept from the amazing chef/owner of Crafted Art of Tacos! We had the classic cheeseburger which was simple and amazingly delicious. I recommend doing a double and adding pickles. It's a very simple burger but it's done insanely well. It's a true smash burger so the Pattie's are small but the addition of cheese, pickles and some spicy mustard are the perfect touch! We also had the Tokyo drift hotdog and it was AMAZING. It had spicy crab salad, French's onions (shoutout to using these for other things beyond green bean casserole) and a delicious hot dog and bun!

Yelp
It's hard not to love a good smash burger or hot dog covered in delicious toppings. This is a restaurant that Greensboro, NC has been missing for a while and we are glad it's finally here! From the rich milk shakes to classic smash burgers it's hard not to be drawn to ParkSide Pull-Up. If you're craving a burger, fries, or hotdog at a reasonable price this is the place for you!
google avatar

Cassie M.

Yelp
Unimpressed. I just went here for a quick treat - a milkshake. I wish I saved the money & got a better shake at Steak 'n Shake by my hotel. It was way too small for the price, & wasn't that tasty.

Yelp
Had a Daddy Daughter day of fun today and decided to finish the day off with some dogs. A quick Yelp search landed us at Parkside! Love the downtown area and the park so off we went. They didn't disappoint! The gentleman that took our order was super friendly and the service was fast! My daughter had the all the way (chili, slaw, onions, ketchup and mustard) and I had the Windy City (classic Chicago dog, tomato, pepper, special bun, green relish and mustard). Honestly the Windy City dog took me back to being in Chicago days. Authentic and delicious! Fries were hot and yummy! The price was reasonable and the food was so good we had to get 2 more to go. The hard part was I couldn't decide which of the two dogs were better (a good problem to have). Keep doing it right!

Tiffany A.

Yelp
Our family ate lunch here while in Greensboro, and it was simple but delicious! We enjoyed smash burgers, fries (well seasoned!), hot dogs, and five different flavors of milkshakes between all of us. I highly recommend it for a casual lunch if you're in the area, and it is near a fun park for kids as a bonus.
google avatar

Katie T.

Yelp
The fries were very hot and fresh - some of the best fries I've had in a while and the chili cheese dog was delish. Love the outdoor seating and proximity to the park. Look forward to trying a milkshake in the summer!

Yelp
Where to start? Kris really knows what she's doing, and she's perfectly executed the diner-esque food that everyone remembers from childhood, but in a modern and elevated way. While you can get the classics, like a hot dog or a chocolate malted milkshake, Parkside Pull-Up also has wonderful twists on the classics that mean anyone can find something to eat there. My personal favorite so far is the Tokyo Drift-- an unexpected hot dog topped with crab salad and avocado. There are plenty of milkshakes to choose from, and I've yet to have one that I wasn't scooping the last remnants out of my cup with my straw to not waste a single drop. This is exactly what LeBauer park needed, and now you can get a delicious, casual meal at a great price.

Treshaun W.

Yelp
Great food, even better environment, definitely recommend giving them a try, service was great and all the employees were super nice and helpful

Yelp
Parkside pull up is exqctly what we need for such a clean and family oriented park like LeBauer. The food is fresh and made to order. Absolutely diverse menu and easy to navigate. I enjoyed this classic style, originality, and home feel establishment that serves comfort food and is different.

Beau L.

Yelp
Split the Tokyo Drift and bacon cheese burger - delicious! Great option and close to several breweries.

Boni F.

Yelp
Love this place! Nice smash burgers with crispy edges.. hits the spot every time. They even converted me to crinkle fries, which I've consistently hated since elementary school.
google avatar

Stephanie W.

Yelp
I loved this cute little addition to lebauer park and the kids I nanny do too (win!!!) They have super creative menu items like the crab roll that I'm definitely going back for and then basic menu items that anyone would love, like the pictured grilled cheese and fries! We also enjoyed the cookies and cream and strawberry milkshake! So yummy!
google avatar

Madison M.

Yelp
Took the suggestion of some other users on here and ordered the Tokyo Drift hot dog. It did not disappoint! Such a unique combination of flavors. I loved every bite of it! Will definitely be back to try some other items off their menu. Great location, super friendly staff and did not have to wait long for food.
google avatar

Brendie W.

Yelp
This place is a great add to Downtown Greensboro! its easy, fun and good food. The hotdogs, ice cream and BLT are all slamming. Chef Kris is always slaying the food game. If you're in downtown and wanting a snack attack stop in and grab a milk shake and smash burger she won't do you wrong. If you are home and craving if- order to go!

Romesha H.

Yelp
This shit was some midddd aka trash. Gave me a stale ass bun and drowned my shit in mustard which i didn't ask for and they don't take cash smh.

Taylor E.

Yelp
Amazing spot to grab a bite in the park! They're right by my work, so I eat here at least once a week. Service is fast, food is nice and hot, and their milkshakes are KILLER!! The cookies and cream milkshake is awesome because you get real nice chunks of Oreo cookie. I love that they crisp up the hot dog buns as well. It's a nice touch. They got a nice little seating area as well.
google avatar

Marisa B.

Yelp
Anything owner Kris puts her hand to, ends up being great! Parkside pull-up is no different. The food is awesome. Unfortunately our experience with the window delivery serve was not. The person at the window delivering our food was rude and snappy almost shutting the window on us mid-sentence. The lady at the first window was great but the other person at the pick-up window really needs a lesson in customer care. The food deserved a 5 star though.
google avatar

Tom E.

Yelp
Best milkshake- hands down. Flawless friendly service and conversation, and the location cant be beat! Much more extensive menu than expected- can't wait to go back!!

Cory L.

Yelp
Extremely disappointing experience. We went to Parkside for hot dogs and ice cream before Tanger. After 45 minutes and watching 3 orders completed we left without food. The person taking orders misrung multiple orders adding to the delay. Kitchen looked flustered. Screams of a restaurant needing to limit / simplify its menu further to items it can turn quickly. We were definitely not alone in this experience and felt for those around us whose children were unfed as well. Not our first experience with Parkside as we got ice cream before but will be our last getting anything from the grill.

Mia A.

Yelp
Love Parkside Pull-Up! Excellent staff and delicious food! Best location for fun and yummy food!

Jossalyn P.

Yelp
very rude workers and very very slow business, i asked a simple question because it took 30 minutes for us to get fries when it wasn't even busy and they decided to be petty and put others in front of us because of it.

Jeri H.

Yelp
I have craved a Chicago style dog as a vegan for years. Much to my surprise I stumbled across one at this restaurant and it is to die for. If you are plant based and craving good hotdogs, hamburgers and vegan soft serve this is the place for you
google avatar

Paulino D.

Yelp
best bang for the buck hotdogs and burgers. asked for an extra thick shake and they obliged. friendly service and short wait times on the food. food was nice and hot, really great with the cold Mexican Sprite.
