"You'll definitely need to do some due diligence if you want a table at this always-busy West Loop pizza spot. But the extra effort is worth it, with good pies, plenty of TVs, and a fun bustling atmosphere. Ordering a lot of pizza and sharables, like individually topped nacho bites, is the move." - sam faye, john ringor
"If you combined Big Star and Homeslice, you’d have Parlor Pizza. It has a fantastic patio (two, in fact - one is on the roof), and the space is perfect for groups. The Neapolitan-style pies here aren’t the best in Chicago, but they’re perfectly tasty, and the large menu of satisfying bar food will please any non-pizza-eaters in your group. Plus, the abundance of outdoor seating means you won’t need to wait until October to get a table." - adrian kane
"The West Loop is a lot like River North, in that it’s crowded and the best restaurants have long wait times. And while we’d never tell you Parlor had the best pizza in Chicago, it is perfectly tasty, and there’s also a long menu of satisfying bar food and salads that will please anyone who doesn’t (for some odd reason) want pizza. Plus, there are not one but two patios, so there’s always plenty of space for everyone to sit outside." - adrian kane
"The crowd at Parlor in the West Loop seems to be more interested in drinking than eating (but the wood-fired pizza is actually pretty good), so this place is actually one of the busiest spots in the neighborhood. It has two patios (one of which is enclosed and heated in the winter) and a very active bar area. So come here if you want a club-like atmosphere for your new hairstyle, but don’t feel like dealing with a bouncer wearing a suit and a well-honed glare." - adrian kane
"Parlor Pizza in the West Loop is another spot that feels like a constant party, but more of the house-party variety. And its two large outdoor patios are some of the best in the city for meeting people. Round up your friends, order a bunch of pizzas (they aren’t mind-blowing, but they’re satisfying), and spend the afternoon eating pizza and drinking beer. Like nature intended." - adrian kane
