Parlor's Handcrafted Ice Creams

Tried the Milk & Cookies and Cookies & Cream. The Cookies & Cream was delicious—definitely my favorite of the two! I wasn’t a huge fan of the Milk & Cookies—it mostly just tasted like plain vanilla to me. The waffle cone was super fresh and added a nice touch. I do wish the ice cream texture was a bit creamier and less icy, which I’ve seen others mention too. Overall, the ice cream tastes high quality, and I appreciated that it wasn’t overly sweet. The space is pretty small, and I wish there was indoor seating, especially with the heat. There are benches outside, but we ended up sitting in the car. Staff was friendly, though the vibe was a bit awkward/fake nice; we got some odd looks that made sampling feel a little uncomfortable. I’d still come back to try more flavors!

As my quest to find good ice cream in Dallas continues, Parlor hit my radar so we gave it a try. The mint chip ice cream was minty fresh. The cookies and cream has fresh cookies in it. The waffle cones are excellent (it’s their only cone option). The service was excellent. We’ll be back for sure.

Best ice cream in Dallas, hands down!! I'm so impressed with the quality alone. As a person who grew up in the Midwest, my standards for ice cream are probably unreasonable lol. This place exceeded all my expectations. Also, they have homemade waffle cones that have the perfect balance of sweet and crunchy to go with the ice cream. The very best part is they offer the "single split" where you can get smaller scoops of two flavors instead of committing to a huge double scoop that most places only offer.

Every time we visit a city we look for clean or organic ice cream. They make their ice cream with cream from pastured, grass fed cows and use pastured eggs. It wasn't too sweet. We loved it. We tried strawberry and cream, 5 mi chocolate, and double chocolate chunk.

Ice cream always tastes fresh and never took sweet. Great treats to beat the heat. Owners and staff are so kind. Pricey but worth supporting a small business.

I had never been to this place before and a coworker recommended it. I stopped by here today after work, because ice cream after a bad day is the best. I didn’t really know what to expect. Let me tell you. This is the most magical ice cream. If ice cream could be a $exual experience, this was top tier. So delicious. The store is cute and clean, and the milk and cookies flavor is to die for. Amazing waffle cones. It definitely made my tummy and taste buds so happy. 15/10

I'm an ice cream snob and have been searching for good ice cream in Dallas. I'm very impressed with their ice cream and loved their unique flavors. They have the best waffle cones I have ever had! I also was very impressed with the server. She was very knowledgeable on the all of the flavors. 10/10 service!

The hands down best ice cream shop in DFW by far. We love that they use clean ingredients, no preservatives or gross ingredients that so many other shops and grocery store ice cream uses. Great variety of flavors they rotate though. The brown sugar ice creams are THE BEST and our absolute favorites. Service is always wonderful here. They have a ton of cute smu girls that always are super friendly and have a smile on their face which is such a nice break from the insufferable miserable staff and service so many other places have these days. Highly recommend making this an afternoon or after dinner treat stop.

It might sound funny but if I may....sheeeeeeesh! This is THE SPOT for ice cream! I literally drive out of my way to go here. The rich creaminess of the ice cream, the unique flavors and the care taken in crafting it all is above and beyond average. This gem is tucked away, but I can't help but share because it's really something special. No gimmicky towers of ice cream with crazy toppings and syrups, or novelty instagrammable cones the size of your head, just an honest to goodness treat that can make any day feel like that sweet spot between Saturday and Sunday, peak weekend enjoyment in a cone or cup. The store front is clean, inviting and there are nice, family accommodating benches outside. This is a place where everything is just right, I really hope y'all enjoy!

Parlor's is a very cute, handcrafted ice cream shop in the Lakewood area of Dallas. They use great local ingredients in their ice creams. They offer some great flavors as well. Thank enjoyed the ice cream although I did find it to be a little icy. The taste was great but I wish it was creamier.

Parlor's has the best ice cream around Dallas and has become my new benchmark standard. Start strong and always get a cone. They're really great and fresh here. You will not go wrong with a buttery, delicate crisp as a foundation for their wonderful ice creams. They're scoop the best ice cream I've found so far here. Any place that starts with Mill King already gets a place in my heart. But they also use plenty of other quality ingredients and bake their own mix ins like cookies and brownies. All the little details make for literally the perfect ice cream. My only critique is that I wish they had more unique flavors. My partner is more so the connoisseur and he doesn't seem to mind because they do basic flavors extraordinarily well. Please at least give me an extraordinary strawberry. Maybe even a honey vanilla or an intense matcha, if I may. Overall I can't really complain though. Parlor's makes amazing ice cream and it's the best I've tried around Dallas so far.

My work rented out their mobile cart for work appreciation. I got the milk and cookies- it's vanilla ice cream with chunks of cookies. Overall it was really yummy and tasted very fresh. In my opinion you tell tell it's not has processed as store bought ice cream. They were really nice and helpful as well!

Parlor's Ice Cream is what dreams are made of. Pure, fresh, and, soothing spoonfuls to the senses. After one taste, hooked I am to their "Sweet Peach". Impressive also it was to watch the all under control and still smiling young servers to the crowd 15 mins before closing this Friday night. Kudos to the three. Keeping it DFW, perfect blends and mixes with local partnerships PIC has made. Here's to the success of this their 1st bricks and mortar, with more to come. CHEERS!

New, fresh, clean, friendly staff, great tasting flavors of a local small batch premium ice cream parlor! They use minimal ingredients to make it taste great! No corn syrup, stabilizers, fillers, artificial ingredients, dyes, emulsifiers, etc... Great quality! Not a lot of flavors at a time and they rotate with seasonal ones. I blew my diet to have a dip. Worth it. I'll exercise it off!

20/10. It's the best ice cream I've ever had. You can taste the fresh, homemade good quality ingredients hand scooped by nice and friendly staff. It smells so good inside and reminds me of my grandmas kitchen. I got the milk and cookies (seasonal) which was so good I took a pint home. Cost-($) cheap/reasonable for the quality The staff is very nice, friendly, and helpful. I'll definitely be back soon!!

Excellent quality ice cream! One of the best ice cream spots in the Dallas area hands down. You can especially taste the high quality ingredients in the ice cream which taste very fresh, unlike other ice creams where you can tell they have been frozen for a while. The Autumn Pumpkin and Triple Nut Butter Cookie complimented each other very well. The pumpkin tastes basically like pumpkin pie and the triple nut butter has delightful chunks of cookie in each bite that brings this dessert together perfectly. Highly recommend, and will definitely be a repeat customer. This is a great place to bring guests from out of town for a quick and easy dessert that will surely impress.

EDIT: Our orders cost between $6-7 with a tip. As an ice cream lover, this was an extremely disappointing experience. The small restaurant was clean and the two staffers were friendly, but the options were very limited and the product was lackluster. I visited Parlor's Ice Cream around 5 p.m. on a Sunday with one other guest and we were in and out within five minutes. There is no seating inside and only two outdoor park benches. We each ordered a single scoop in a cup. I ordered sweet cream and she ordered mint chocolate chip. Each order was about $6-7. We both wanted a waffle cone, but they were a $1.50 up-charge, which we didn't feel necessary to pay for. The sweet cream had almost no flavor and left a thick coating in my entire mouth, which was not great. The mint chip barely had any mint flavor. Additionally, there were only about a dozen flavors, which would typically be fine, but they were all vanilla or chocolate-adjacent flavors. There were no fruity flavors, which was very odd. Overall, I wouldn't visit again or recommend to anyone looking for a sweet treat. Dallas has so many other fantastic offerings.

I've never had better ice cream until I tried here. This literally blew my mind! Good vibes and you got to try it. It's WORTH the trip!!!!!!

On my way into Haystack I noticed this shop and decided I would stop in after dinner. Enjoyed my meal and headed over to Parlor's for dessert. Upon walking in I was instantly greeted. The owner was behind the counter and was so helpful in deciding what to order. He explained the process they use to make the ice cream and suggested the triple butter ice cream. After tasting the sample I instantly knew why it was the most popular flavor. The ice cream is very smooth and the chunks of the nut butter added so much great flavor. Thus is a great addition to the area that serves great ice cream. They currently do not offer any vegan, or lactose free ice cream options hopefully sometime soon.

Ice cream you can feel good about eating! This locally owned ice cream shop uses fresh, high quality ingredients that make for an (almost) guilt-free, 100% delicious dessert! Plus, they serve their ice cream in compostable/recyclable containers.

Thanks for your response. Your husband just must not be a pleasant person. Not friendly at all. Had the ice cream been good, the price would not have been an issue at all. It's just a bummer to pay for something only to throw it away. My kids did eat though and they were the ones wanting ice cream so I guess that's worth it. I feel really duped by these reviews. The ice cream was less than basic. I tried the half baked and the milk and cookies and they were just way too plain for the price. Top that off with an employee with a bad attitude and I will 100% never return. Oh and not to mention it is not inviting at all. There are no seats or restrooms so they want you to just pay and get out.

Love this ice cream shop. Was first introduced to them via the farmer's market and I'm glad they opened up a store so that I can get some year round. My ultimate favorite is their oatmeal cookie crumble which unfortunately is on their rotational menu. Other favorites of mine are milk & cookies, double chocolate chunk and cookies & cream

Exactly what we were looking for! I've been struggling to find a simple ice cream shop in Dallas as everything seems to be super fancy or expensive for no reason. I want just simple flavors and cones and Parlor's was exactly that! The boys working the front were so kind and helpful. I asked how many samples I could get and he said as many as I want because he wants to ensure I get what I want. My roommate got the seasonal Sweet Peach and I got the double chocolate chunk. Both were delicious and offered in pints sizes! Clean and bright inside, smelt great too! Just such a darling place. If it isn't family owned, they sure do make it feel like it is.

Oh my GOSH their stuff is good. Totally fresh ingredients and the flavors I've tried are amazeballs. Currently experiencing addictive issues with their Strawberries & Cream.

Amazing ice cream - seriously some of the best I've had. The only downside is they don't have seating (inside or outside) so you're left to awkwardly eat it in the heat standing up before it melts. It definitely took away from the enjoyment of it a bit. Update: I added that fifth star because apparently they are getting seating (yay!). We will definitely be back

We absolutely love this place! It's a weekly treat for my husband and I! The scoopers are so sweet and I love all the flavors! My personal favorite is the horchata and the salted carmel. Lots of parking and easy to get in and out of the shopping center.

Whoever was working Sunday at around 8:10pm when we came in was so so kind and made me so happy! The chocolate waffle cone ice cream was yummy and its a cute, clean store.

I LOVE this place! After having it, I truly don't want any other ice cream. I started following them on Instagram through the farmers market but was waiting for the shop to open up to try it. Lucky me, I had a craving for ice cream and was in this area of town the day they opened and I have never looked back! I take every guest I have from out of town here and pick up pints to deliver to friends in Austin every time I go. It's also just a nice treat on my good days or bad. Favorite flavors so far are: Milk and Cookies, Salted Caramel, Horchata, Oatmeal Cookie crumble, Gingersnap. Seriously, just go, I promise you won't regret it!

Just stopped by there yesterday and had their horchata flavor with a waffle cone. AMAZING!! You can tell it's not as heavy as other ice creams and I attribute that to it not having fillers/corn syrup etc... highly recommend and will be back. Service was also great as well as the ambiance.

Really enjoyed our recent experience at Parlor's! The staff was pleasant and so helpful! Since it was our first time there we sampled 3 flavors and all were good so it was hard to decide. I had a cup of the seasonal peach and my husband had a cone. The peach was delicious but because it is a seasonal flavor will probably not be there when we return, but I already know what flavor I will get when we do go back which will be soon!

Service was good but the ice cream was very mid unfortunately. We came at night on a Friday but I got to sample at least 5 flavors and they were all icy lol. It's cool that they have a lot of locally sourced ingredients ie the chocolate. Their flavors are all good in concept but it came out okay. The cone was good though so there's that!

So good! Will be back soon! Ice cream is fresh, unique, and not too heavy! Can't wait to see what other flavors come this summer.

First time in this afternoon, but definitely won't be the last. The two young ladies working were very friendly, helpful & welcoming. The brown sugar with milk & cookies was a delicious combination.

1st. They do not accept cash and they will not print you a receipt if you use your credit card. They will either text or email your receipt. 2nd. They are very pricey $5.75 for a small scoop of ice cream. 3rd. Limited selection and none with nuts. The milk & cookies had very little cookie in it. Mainly crumbs. I will not be back!!!

BEST ice cream I have ever had! I'm so glad I got to try Parlor's Ice Cream on my most recent trip to Dallas. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! They were also knowledgeable in helping me select gluten free ice cream. The cold brew and horchata (cinnamon) flavors were DELICIOUS! The shop and merch were SO cute too! I will definitely make it a tradition to stop by Parlor's each and every time I'm in Dallas!

Absolutely fantastic experience! The ice cream is so fresh and delicious, and there are a variety of flavors (including rotating flavors). I tried the Milk & Cookies in a hand-made waffle cone - it was unreal. There were legit fresh made cookies in the ice cream and the waffle cone tasted like heaven. Hands down the best ice cream I've had in Dallas.

How can you not make a good salted caramel ice cream? it was almost tastless and it was flat. For the little bit of ice cream I received it was not worth the money. For those of us that like to use "good old green" (cash), this is a cash-free business.

Love this place! Probably my favorite in the area! Cute shop, very friendly, ice cream is creamy and tasty! Be mindful that there isn't a place to sit and eat your ice cream, but that doesn't bother me!

I love Haagen-Dazs chocolate chocolate chip ice cream. I went in here and got their Double Chocolate Chunk and swear it is better. Everything is locally sourced and organic...we stopped on a "chocolate tour of Dallas". 100% recommend.

Parlor's catered an ice cream treat for our team during our annual conference and it was by far the hit of the day! Not only was the ice cream amazing and delicious, of course, but the service was also impeccable. 10/10 would recommend Parlor's to anyone looking for 1 scoop or 100 scoops! The cart that was brought onsite was the perfect extra touch and made having ice cream feel even more special. After learning about the intentionality, freshness, and integrity behind their ice cream we fell even more in love with Parlor's and their dynamic founding duo. Thank y'all so much for an incredible experience and taking such good care of the Cariloop team. We are all Parlor's fans now and I personally can't wait for my next scoop!

This is just stupid good ice cream. Very high quality. Friendly service is proverbial cherry on top, but it's all about the ice cream. I started with the milk and cream (kinda their take on chocolate chip cookie dough) and mint (so fresh!). Both superb. Can't wait to return.

I really wanted to like this place. I grew up in the area and love ice cream. I've eaten both at chains as well as mom and pop stores . I always order chocolate chip and feel that flavor is a good measure of the quality of the place. I was disappointed. The vanilla ice cream just didn't have any flavor. I also thought the chocolate chunks were overpowering. Lastly, the spoon was not plastic. I believe it may have been a compostable one, but it took away from the experience, like a paper straw does with a soft drink. It had a strange texture. It would be nice if they had plastic spoons as an option. I may give it another try in a few months. Maybe I just went on an off day.

Best ice cream in Dallas and it's not even close. Fresh, great taste. Dallas has been missing an actual good ice cream spot- glad they're here. Go try the difference for yourself!

Incredible ice cream. Phenomenal infact. Very clear that the owners put intention and care into everything they do. Friendly staff. Great ambiance. Shop is CLEAN! Even better ice cream. Best I've ever had. I will be back both for the ice cream and the excellent service.

I am not one to leave many reviews but I absolutely had to after discovering this ice cream spot!!!!!. It is truly the best ice cream I have ever had in Dallas and possibly ever. It actually may be a problem that it is only a 5 minute drive from my house because I want it all the time! Lol. You can taste the quality in their ice cream. This place is a must try!
