Parma Café Laval

I visited Parma Cafe on a Saturday during peak lunch hours. The service was fast and efficient, with the server being attentive enough to confirm my full order when I thought something might be missing. The table number system worked well. While most prices are reasonable, some items may be slightly overpriced. However, the quality of the food made it feel worth it. The cookies were outstanding, and the bread used for sandwiches was fantastic. Drinks were easy to enjoy. However, the fries were over-seasoned and under-salted, and the dipping sauce could be improved. Despite this, we still enjoyed our meal. Overall, everything was good, and I would return!

This place feels like a coffee shop posing as a restaurant. The interior is nice and clean. Once you order at the counter, you get a number and the items are brought to your table once prepared. That's the extent of service you will get. The food is good, honestly for the price of sandwiches I was expecting a bit more of a wow factor. The cheesecake was good as well, but again nothing to go out of your way to get. Same for the salad. I also noticed signs indicating times at which it is ok/not ok to use a laptop. I believe it's a policy that would make sense for a real restaurant. But the dining experience here is less than minimal meaning no table service or course meals. All in all good food, but nothing to go out of your way to get. Feels like a bougie second cup with real food options. I don't have an issue with it but it seems misleading.

The coffee is rich and well prepared, and they offer a great selection of fresh pastries and light bites. The service is fast and friendly, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Plus, the seating is comfortable, and the atmosphere is just the right balance of lively and relaxing, perfect for conversations or focused work. A versatile café that’s definitely worth a visit!

This place is always packed for a reason! From the cozy decoration to the delicious menu including the extremely happy service team. The rich aroma of freshly brewed espresso and the selection of pastries completes their paninis selection. One of the places that I can go everyday. Bravo Parma 👏🏼

Amazing experience, great staff and the waiting is worth it. Food is delicious of quality and generous for the prices they offer. The coffee is good and the desserts are top notch. Go try it out, and beautiful Italian spot in Laval that makes it very easy to go back.

Staff should really take the time to wipe the tables after guest leaves. Service is 5* when the owner/manager is there but when hes not... 1* Ordered a slice of black forest cake to go. I saw the cashier struggle to cut the cake (suspicious when she wasnt taking it from the display) but what a surprise when I got home. All that for 10$. Consider opening your take out box before leaving.

Parking is plentiful at Centropolis and free. The restaurant is easy to find with google maps. I came here on a Sunday for takeout so cannot speak too much about the atmosphere as I did not eat there. But I could see that it was very busy and full of people. The menu is a good size with lots of options. I got the prosciutto sandwich and the og breaded chicken as well as a Nutella cookie and banana muffin cookie. The sandwiches were great but the desserts were a bit dry. The cookie is not as sweet as it looks, so if you like something very sugary, I would try something else. I would definitely come back here if at least for their sandwiches.

I loved my experience here however it does get quite crowder and loud if you’re planning to study. It doesn’t bother me at all and i enjoy the environment. I would definitely go back. The coffee was delicious and so was the cheesecake and caesar salad chicken cutlet sandwich. The food was fresh and felt homemade.
