Parma Café

Elie found this café and suggested that we go and discover it together. To set up is a little bit weird, you order from the main cash. They place your order you find a seat and they serve it to you. There’s nothing weird about it. It’s just confusing when you get in because they don’t necessarily explain it to you. we’ve seen other places give a kind of number that you place on your table to identify one to the person that they know what to expect and two for the server to bring the food to the right table. We ordered a couple of sandwiches and a Caprese salad we decided to go with the large size which in all honesty was a little bit too big . There was cheese and tomatoes, which is great, however, way too much balsamic and not enough basil. For people who have travelled around and have eaten various types of Caprese salads (not that we’re being snobby) but this was not one of the better ones sadly. The sandwich was OK, the bread was really good. However, we didn’t really care much for the chopped up lettuce inside and the lack of certain toppings like bacon for instance . There were just a few strips, barely enough to cover the bread area. The fries, however, came in the gigantic basket which we were unable to finish. It was OK to visit. The decor inside is nice. a nice place to visit if you’re looking for a quick breakfast in a downtown area of Montreal.

My director and I went to try it out for lunch one day. We absolutely loved it and enjoyed every bite, so she had it catered for our daycare to celebrate teacher appreciation. All of us educators enjoyed it very much. Delicious, healthy, comfort food. Italian style! I highly recommend.

The Salmon sandwich is ART!! The prochutto one is pretty good too, but salmon is best! The coffee was average, I ordered a latte and it was definitely not a latte, more like a cappuccino. The stuff members could use a little training on the coffee making from European bartenders. The decor is great, however there is no much space to seat and it gets crowded and noisy very easily. Otherwise a good spot to seat, chat and have a sandwich!

It’s a nice cozy and tiny place to gather with your friends with good food and coffee My smoked salmon sandwich was so good as well as the double espresso coffee. I ordered a small cannoli and pasteis De natal but the cannoli was smaller than I expected. The Portuguese dessert was quite well. Overall, the service and food are great and recommend it.

A 'must-do' every time I'm visiting Montreal, and a go-to recommendation for friends in town. The Steak Sandwich is one of the BEST I've ever had. Fantastic service. Great value! I'll be back!

Great place! Food is excellent, generous portions also. Kind and prompt service. The only thing is that it was a little unclear with whether you pick up your food or if they drop it at your table, but I asked: they drop it at your table. Would certainly recommend!!

Beautiful little café with incredible sandwiches and very decent prices. The arancini is to die for!! Their coffee drinks are truly authentic Italian. If you’re looking to quickly satisfy a growling stomach, this place is for you. Cozy, warm, delicious and artistic!

Sandwiches are good, bread is great and they offer a nice variety of combinations but we find they could add more (quantity of cold) meat to them. The staff is welcoming and the place is nice & clean.
