Where To Eat Near T-Mobile Park & Lumen Field - Seattle - The Infatuation

"In the great Paseo vs. Un Bien debate, we’re Team Un Bien, which means that you’ll only find us at Paseo before a game, thanks to how convenient it is to grab a slow-roasted pork sandwich at their Sodo location before watching DK Metcalf high-step it into the end zone. If the weather is warm enough, the patio full of picnic tables opens up. Then, you’re free to have a double rum punch and watch the fans who didn't read this walk by with rumbling stomachs and $40 in cash they took out from an ATM to buy one beer and a single hot dog. Tragic." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

The Best Restaurants Around T-Mobile Park and Lumen Field | Eater Seattle

"SoDo’s Paseo installation has all the same juicy, messy, marvelous Caribbean sandwiches as the Paseo in Fremont, via the same simple counter service. Just four blocks from the stadium, this location is especially worth knowing about, not only because it’s bigger and less crowded, but also because it has parking." - Meg van Huygen

Paseo Review - Sodo - Seattle - The Infatuation

"In the great Paseo vs. Un Bien debate, we’re Team Un Bien, which means that you’ll pretty much only find us at Paseo in Sodo when it's convenient—like to grab a pre-baseball slow-roasted pork sandwich before watching Julio carry that giant trident into the Mariners' dugout. Or once the sun comes out and we can enjoy a double rum punch and aioli-slathered corn on the patio. At the end of the day, it’s a solid option as long as you’re not anywhere near Un Bien." - Kayla Sager-Riley

Where to Eat Before the Game in Seattle | Eater

"Paseo’s ample outdoor and indoor spaces are nearly as big as their famously juicy Caribbean sandwiches. The best-known version features slow-roasted pork shoulder with caramelized onions, pickled jalapenos, and garlic aioli, but everything else is tasty too, including plates of jambalaya and rice and beans." - Vox Creative

Paseo is definitely a must-try! The Caribbean Roast never disappoints tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Pair it with Caribbean fries and that garlic aioli… next level! The plantains were a bit too crunchy for me, more like kettle chips, but still decent. Wings were okay wish they had a dry rub seasoning same magic as the fries. Still, a solid spot for bold Caribbean flavors!

Google
We ordered the famous carribean roast sandwich and the paseo press sandwich. The Carribean roast is well known for its messy juiciness, and it's no exaggeration. Very tender, flavorful roast pork generously stuffed in a large French roll with onions and peppers. The paseo press added ham and cheese similar to a cubano only without it pressed into a thin sando. Also very juicy and packed full of meat. We also got fries but they are forgettable. The establishment itself is very basic. Tables are sticky and you bus your own table. Overall, you come easily for the sandwiches. They are as good as they claimed. We've been to Un Bien and Paseo's roast pork is much better. Un Bien has friendlier staff and a much bigger menu. They also have a beef sandwich that knocks your socks off. We are really glad to have tried Paseo and get to compare the two.

Google
It was unexpectedly so gooood!!! I wasn't hungry when I visited but I still kept eating because it was too good. I would love to come back hungry. They give lots of meat!

Google
Easy 5 stars. I’ve read on Reddit that Seattle has Caribbean sandwiches even better than this. That’s hard to believe after getting through this heavenly sloppy mess. Now I look forward to trying these other places I’ve read about. I’ll keep you guys updated.

GOD I love Paseos. I swear every time Ive gotten a sandwich here Ive never been disappointed. Thankfully they got some music playing so when I dance from pure joy of eating, I dont completely look like a mad man. On top of that, I didnt know they did gift cards. My friend got me one for my bday, and right after work I immediately came here haha. I am full, I am happy.

Google
I almost wanna give this place a one star to bring that whole average down because it does not deserve to have a 4.5 rating. I ordered the Caribbean sandwich which is their flagship sandwich, nachos, and fries. Before even getting the food, it seemed to odd that you ordered the counter, you pick up your own food, and you bust your own tables, but they asked for a tip? Then they forgot the fries. Putting that aside the nachos had pineapples on them, which I normally don’t have an issue with, but when you add them to nachos with all the juice, it caused all the chips to become soggy. It was offputting and just not tasty enough to be worth nacho chips, soggy The sandwich itself was fine to say the least. The meat was not very seasoned, and the onions were cut as fat strips, which seemed odd choice. The fries were the best part. I also ended up getting a beer which tasted like they don’t clean their beer lines/tubing. The one redeeming quality is that atmosphere was a fun vibe but with bad draft beer, I wouldn’t want to go.

Google
Paseo in SODO is an absolute gem! Their Caribbean-style sandwiches are packed with bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and perfectly toasted bread. The famous Caribbean Roast Pork Sandwich is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—juicy, tender meat with just the right amount of seasoning. The atmosphere is laid-back, the service is friendly, and the portions are generous. It’s a must-visit spot in Seattle, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a casual meal with friends. Be prepared for a bit of a wait during peak hours, but trust me, it’s 100% worth it!

Yelp
This place has plenty of seating, so you go in, order your food, then find a spot. Kind of a fast-casual place, but so good! Supposedly, according to Mr. Kenji Lopez-Alt, this is one of his favorite sandwich shops in the entire US. That's quite a bold statement from someone who loves food so much. This spot did not disappoint. I think of this sandwich sometimes. Famous Caribbean Roast - Juicy, plenty of meat, plenty of sauce. The meat is tender, falling apart, and not dry at all. To add to its' juiciness, they dip it/drench the sandwich in some liquid gold broth, and then on top of that, even add on some sauce! Combine the meat, sauce, broth, with some pickled veggies, this is honestly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Would consider moving to seattle to eat this sandwich once a month...or more. - Price is also super reasonable, around $14.

Yelp
Was headed to Seattle & a friend said he had the best sandwich ever " I'm still thinking about it weeks later" Ok like we gotta try that right?! Said classic sandwich was DELICIOUS & messy as reputed. Drinks were yummy, loved the vibe chilling at spacious outdoor area. Week night dinner -was not crowded no wait. Scallops & salmon options for my pescatarians. Tostones and fries were bomb too. Loved it here!

Yelp
We stopped by here for a sandwich and it happened to be a day that there was a Mariners game. Despite that the wait wasn't long and when we walked in, we walked right up to order. There is a ton of place for sitting both inside and outside, so it's a great place to bring kids to the family. Parking we got lucky but otherwise I'm not sure where you would park beyond the few spaces reserved outside of this paid parking lot. - -My partner got the Paseo press and it was next level phenomenal. -I don't eat pork much so I got the fish sandwich and it really wasn't that wonderful. We took the sandwiches to go so that could have been part of it, they just didn't seem to travel that well. The bread is really great, but the fish was bland. In hindsight, maybe I should have ordered the shrimp. -We love the yucca fries and the tostones, those were some of the best parts of the meal with the excellent dipping sauces that were flavorful as well. -The habanero wings were soooOOOOO spicy and I eat spicy food all the time. How do normies eat these?!

Yelp
If you're in SoDo and looking for the best Caribbean inspired food, then head over to Paseo on the corner of 1st Ave & Holgate. We stopped in midweek before a show at the Showbox and were able to order fast at the counter and found a table inside. We normally order one of their sandwiches, but this time we opted for the Caribbean Plato and the West Caribbean Bowl, both with the Pulled Roasted Pork. So good! Definitely recommend the pork, whether it's on a sandwich, bowl, or plate!
google avatar

Yelp
I love Paseo's sandwiches! I always get one of their sandwiches when I'm visiting Seattle and they never disappoint. Bread is crispy and fluffy with just enough meat inside the bun. Juicy with amazing flavor too!

Yelp
Came here for late lunch on a Thursday. They have free reserved parking spots for the restaurant! It was my first time trying Carribean sandwiches and I found them delicious!! We ordered the seared scallop sandwich and the pork belly sandwich. So good! The bread was crispy and the ingredients were hot and cooked well. The only downside was that eating them could get quite messy as the ingredients kept popping out. Nonetheless, we used our hands and enjoyed the food very well. The restaurant was spacious and clean. They offered water for self-serve. The staff was friendly. I cannot wait to come back later for dinner and cocktails!

Yelp
Paseo simply isn't what it was back in the "2nd-best-sandwich-in-America" days. If you want that caliber of sandwich you need to go to Un Bien, where the original Paseo recipes live on (and dare I say, have even improved), and perfect preparation is the routine. Neither of those statements is true about Paseo. But - all things considered - do they make a good sandwich? Yes they do. It's just not AS good, in any way, as the sandwich we all know it wishes it was. The bread isn't quite as crunchy, and can be a little spongy. The marinades on the meat, no matter which variety you get, are missing a little je ne sais quoi. The lettuce gets soggier and the aioli is out of balance. The caramelized onions are less caramelly...and somehow less onion-y. Even the wrap jobs are worse - they tend to get onions all over the outside of the sandwich. (Be warned, lunch will be messy.) I know I'm not raving here, but if you've never eaten at either of these two restaurants, you WILL like Paseo. It's good food. It's just hard to justify going when I know what the alternative has on offer. If you're crunched for time, eat here - you won't regret it. If you've got an open afternoon, drive 20 minutes north to Un Bien for what truly must be one of the greatest sandwiches on earth. (Don't expect it to be less messy though.)

Yelp
Pros: Delicious food, good drinks, friendly staff Cons: Can get busy and parking is odd Details: We have been here a couple times and try to make it whenever in Seattle. This place is highly rated for a good reason, it is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. We have tried a few kinds and each are incredible. They have good drinks too. The parking situation is a bit odd, I'm guessing because of the stadium? The inside is spacial and has really cool decorations in back. As mentioned, the staff are great.

Yelp
How do you not give them a great review. Always so good. Got the pork sandwich but then also got the pork bowl. If you don't want all the bread and want something a little spicy the bowl is great. The pork is amazing. Tender and delicious. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Super good! Customer service is great! They even have a rewards program!! Convenient place!
google avatar

Yelp
Food - tried the tofu sandwich, which was quite good though had a bit too much onion for my preference. I really liked the vanilla and lavender tropical spritzer with oat milk and the tostones! My partner had the chicken thighs sandwich, fries, and the street corn which he liked all of. The sandwiches and corn can be messy and a bit tough to eat so plan accordingly. I can't comment on the service and ambiance as it was take out.

Natalie R.

Yelp
Scallops spot on!!! amazing and service was perfect. Very nice crew working here!! Will absolutely be back again.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Grilled sweet onions, garlic aioli, jalapeños, lettuce, and a sweet and salty marinated pork belly, with the best crispy bread. I highly recommend trying this place out. It took about 20-25 min for our sandwiches but well worth the wait. Indoor and outdoor seating, cute spot!
google avatar

Yelp
If you're unfamiliar with the flavor associated with the menu items at Paseos then let me be the first to tell you that this place is delicious! My go to here is the West Carribean Bowl with extra jalapeños!!! The sandwiches are long written about and probably the staple of the place but the Bowls are something to be rivaled! Make sure to use extra napkins when you eat here cause it will leave some flavor on your hands!
google avatar

Rona C.

Yelp
There were only a few parking spots, maybe 3 actual spots then 2 spots for pick up. The rest of the lot required pay to park, kind of weird since it's such a big empty lot. The inside of the restaurant was spacious with a good amount of tables and bar seating. Food: My boyfriend ordered the Caribbean roast and I ordered the paseo press. The Caribbean roast was more refreshing and not as heavy since it didn't have cheese. It did have a huge leaf of lettuce, which should have been cut more to make the sandwich easier to eat. My paseo press was delicious, I love how there was cheese and pepperoncini peppers! The meat in both of these sandwiches was soft and full of flavor!
google avatar

Maxine L.

Yelp
Well known direct competitor with Un Bien. TLDR Un Bien is better imo Ordered the signature Caribbean sandwich. It came cut in half with generous chunks of pork, lettuce, onions, jalapeños, and cilantro. The cuts of pork were weirdly uneven, some super lean and kinda dry, some just huge bites of pure fat. I found that the meat was lacking some flavor when comparing to Un Bien. Don't get me wrong though, it was still good. One other complaint is that the sandwich is a huge mess to eat. Yes, un bien is also a mess to eat, but somehow less? At least it maintains its sandwich structural integrity. Overall, pretty good! I will continue to choose Un Bien over Paseo though!!
google avatar

Janet M.

Yelp
Added this place on my list after Kenji Lopez-Alt uploaded the "This is one of the best sandwiches in the world" video, and finally, I got the chance to visit. Ordered take out as paid parking in the area is quite crazy due to sports game happening on the same day me and friend visited. We were pretty full so we only ordered one sandwich to go, the most popular Caribbean Roast sandwich. Pork was very juicy. Onions was cooked, not caramelized but still a bit sweet and still have a bit of that crunch. Bread was great, but not a "toasty". Probably would taste better if we eat in, but nevertheless still amazing sandwich.

Yelp
This seems to be a little gem of a spot. Had the Paseo Press sandwich and chips and salsa. The salsa is served hot (not warm), this caught me off guard. It had good flavor, but reminded me more of a tomato soup. Chips were good. The sandwich was one of the best I've ever had as far as flavor goes. Fresh, crunchy bread, the pork was incredibly tender, flavorful and juicy. The banana peppers added a perfect amount of spice to balance the sweet and savoryness of the meat and onions. You really can't eat this sandwich without a fork though, it immediately falls apart. Prices seemed reasonable. The outdoor seating area is definitely nice for a sunny day, and has umbrellas to give you a little protection. The inside reminded me a little bit of a breakfast diner combined with a BBQ place as far as seating goes. You order at the counter and then they call out your order by name, even if you are dining inside. Wait time for the food was a bit on the long side, but it's obviously a popular place. I think they were balancing a lot of to-go orders. Definitely worth a stop
google avatar

Mike O.

Yelp
My daughter and her wife took me here prior to the Metallica concert and it was GOOD! It was their signature sandwich (grab extra napkins!!) and we shared an order of fries. Highly recommend a visit here, you wont be disappointed.

Yelp
Paseo is heaven. We typically come here before a baseball game, or randomly on the weekends if we're taking a trip to HD. The Caribbean Roast sandwich is a must. This is ridiculously messy (because it's so juicy and flavorful) so you will need a bucket load of napkins. I love it so much that I exclusively order it. My husband has eaten the West Caribbean Bowl and has also enjoyed it. We have both tried the yuca fries and the tostones which we also enjoyed but don't order them regularly. Food usually comes out pretty fast, it takes a little extra time on game days, but we've never had to wait for egregious amounts of time. They have a few dedicated parking spots, but they are almost always full, so you're gonna have to pay for parking in the parking lot. If you're not coming for a baseball game (and it's Game Day), I wouldn't bother because it's an arm and a leg to park. Their chips have this seasoning on them, I don't know what exactly is in it, but it gives them a fun flavor and goes well with your meal. And the place is super colorful, and they have plenty of outdoor seating and some select seating inside. I have also ordered from here online and pick up was pretty seamless. You will not leave hungry or disappointed!

Yelp
Ordered catered food delivered for a small wine event and was not disappointed! They have a great menue selection, food is delicious and even delivered out to woodinville for us. We will look forward to using them again for an event.

Yelp
Wow this place was great! I am a fan and will be back. Food was reasonably priced and was freaking delicious! I got the #1 because well it was a good place to start! Wife got the corn appetizer. Both Amazing!!! that freaking sandwich though! wow i want like 3 togo! Staff was great and friendly. Place was clean and had plenty of space. we sat outside and tried to enjoy some of the sun before it disappeared. We will be back and are so happy our friends recommend this place!
google avatar

Geoffrey C.

Yelp
These sandwiches continue to be elite! Parking sucks so you either get lucky and get one of the few parking spots. If not park along the street and not necessarily the parking lot so you don't have to pay. Inside is pretty huge so no worry about not finding a seat. Famous Caribbean Roast was exactly how I remembered it...filling, messy, and delicious. This time I also got the Tostones which was also good. Some of the plantains were a bit to thick and dense, but all of it was salted well.
google avatar

Elissa E.

Yelp
Well I'm back on board! We did take out here a lot during Covid, and at first the portions were sooo generous- then the opposite happened and the portions shrank to 1/2 or less the previous size. We stopped going for a few years, and then were in area and it was convenient to come in. Hubs and I both had Caribbean bowls- which turned out to be multiple meals each. I had the citrus salad as well which was absolutely delicious. I am a big salad lover, and this one is not to be missed. We are back on the Paseo program. Yum! Lots and lots of yummmm. Also the food came out quickly after ordering and music was at the perfect level. Overall a great experience
google avatar

Yelp
When you walk in, you order at the counter and then find a seat. They will call your name when the order is ready. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the beans and rice trio with chicken breast, my husband ordered the caribbean roast and Yucca fries, and my son ordered the Steak and Swiss. We also got a Mexican coke. Mexican cokes are the best! They use real cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. It's not only better for you, but it tastes way better. The careibean roast sandwich was good, and my husband said it reminds him of adobo. The yucca fries were bland by themselves but were good with the dipping sauce they gave you. My sons said his was really good too, and it reminded him of a cheese steak sandwich. The beans and rice trio were good, and even though I got the chicken breast, which is usually dry, it was flavorful and still juicy. We really enjoyed it. If we're back in the area, this is definitely one on my list.

Yelp
This famous Caribbean/Cuban sandwich place was busyyyy bc there was a mariners game, but service was fast and highly recommend going!! Sautéed prawns sandwich ($14) - This was a really good sandwich if you like shrimp. We got a level 3 spice which had a KICK so opt for lower/none if you don't like spice, but the bread was so crispy and paired perfectly w the shrimp filling. Their fries are also sooo good, they're slightly sweet and delicious dipped with their sauce. Caribbean roast sandwich ($12.50) - MMMMM this sandwich was so messy but sooo good!! Bursting w flavor and the pork was so tender and juicy. This is their classic and I recommend getting it bc you can't go wrong! Instagram- @joangela.eats

Yelp
They say they are the best sandwich place, but i would say they are cheating. Their food is perfectly cooked dinner thrown on some bread. Don't pass up on the fries either, they are downright amazing with that seasoning coating. I would love to eat this all day. I would give this place a 10 out of 5 i like it so much. Note: The location is in an industrial area where people park to go see events at the stadiums. What a madhouse. Parking could cost you.
google avatar

Tony J.

Yelp
The SoDo location of the Caribbean sandwich shop. Pretty swell known in Seattle apparently. Medium size space with counter seating and some tables in the main area, and a room in the back with more tables (which smelled a little stale). Plenty of parking out front unless there's game happening in the nearby stadiums, but they reserve the parking spots right in front of the building. You order at register near the entrance and pick up your food a bit further down the counter. We got their signature pork roast sandwich and the spicy sauteed shrimp sandwich. Both sandwiches use toasted baguettes with garlic aioli, and the bread has a nice crunch on the outside without being too hard. The roast pork sandwich is very flavorful and juicy, and kind of hard to eat without it falling apart. For the spicy shrimp sandwich, you can pick the spice level from 1 to 5. We got level 2 and it had a noticeable amount of heat without being too spicy. Got that more zesty seafood seasoning as well. In addition to the sandwiches, we got the tostones (fried plantain) and the roasted corn. The tostones were very starchy. Has a thin soft center and a thicker harder crust from frying. Doesn't have much flavor in itself, but the chipotle dipping sauce that comes with it was really nice and creamy. The roast corn with garlic, parmesan, and seasoning was very tasty. The bold seasoning, cheese and garlic goes well with the sweetness of the corn. Total was probably $50 for all the food. Medium priced.
google avatar

Maggie L.

Yelp
You gotta come and try the sandwiches here!! Yes it's going to be messy, but so worth it. I heard this place gets packed on game days, but there is no wait during Thursday lunch time. They are famous for the slow roasted pork shoulder. So if it's your first time, try #1 Famous Caribbean Roast (roast pork) or #2 Paseo Press (roast pork + smoked ham + banana pepper). If you don't want to get messy, opt for the bowl. Since it ain't my first rodeo, I got Seared Scallop (5/5 spicy). The scallops are juicy and sweet, and the garlic tapanade so flavorful. This sandwich is super delicious.
google avatar

Alexa Z.

Yelp
Food is delicious. Portions are decent. A sandwich is definitely a filling meal on its own. Caution that it can be pretty messy so make sure to grab plenty of napkins. Service is friendly and fast. Dining area is clean and spacious for small parties. 4-5 max. They also have bar seating for smaller parties. Outdoor seating available. Parking lot for parking.
google avatar

Kevin D.

Yelp
I picked up a few sandwiches here on the way to a picnic. The place wasn't too busy and had plenty of parking. The sandwiches themselves were tasty, but seemed thrown together hastily as the ingredients were all over the place -- meat halfway out of the sandwich, pickled jalapenos on the outside of the bread. Also, by the time we ate them the sandwiches were very soggy and greasy on the outside, with grease all over the wrapping paper.
google avatar

Yvonne D.

Yelp
Despite the drama with the former business owners, Paseo is still a solid go to. This location is easy to find and has it's own parking lot. The website allows preorder (sometimes doesnt work and you have to call it in) which makes it convenient for group ordering. We love the roasted pork sandwich of course but the jambalaya was a surprising win that we have ordered multiple times now. I would probably skip the nachos (tried twice and it just doesnt hit the spot for me). The flavored lemonades are quite good too! Note: there is a loyalty program but hard to use.
google avatar

Theryn K.

Yelp
I recently Grub Hubbed their famous roasted street corn (absolutely most delicious roasted corn I've had in a long time), the Caribbean Plato with roasted pork (not delicious), an order of tostones (best when eaten hot) and chips and salsa (chips were fresh and also delicious. This is the second time I had their roast pork and for a second time, it was flavorless. Straight up, it was so narly I gave the plate to my son after two bites. After heating it up for his dinner, he too was zero impressed. I also did not care for their black beans that came with the pork. Everything else was great!
google avatar

Sylvia F.

Yelp
The tostones are obviously not fresh and they taste oily as well. The waiter said it's how they sell them. It's either they are old/refried and microwaved, or the oil is bad. I've never had tostones like these. The beans weren't good either. The corn was edible and the chicken breast was soft and not dry. Not a fan at all and won't be coming back here. I need to go home and take an alka seltzer to head off the inevitable indigestion.
google avatar

Zabrina G.

Yelp
Husband has been getting Paseo delivered to his work for a while now and I finally got the opportunity to try it! It was just as good as he told me. We both got the Caribbean Roast sandwich and shared an order of fries. The bread for the sandwich way on point! Having a crisp crust substantial enough to handle the load of juicy roast pork. And this sandwich is over loaded with meat! So delicious if not totally messy worth it!! Sorry no pictures it went all in ma belly!!
google avatar

Sindu K.

Yelp
Never been to this place but got a takeout a bunch of times. I don't eat meat so I got the onion obsession sandwich and corn on the cobs both times. The corn on the cob is amazing, with great flavor. I love the sandwich as well. The only issue I had with the sandwich is that the wrapper around it doesn't hold up well with the sauce and becomes harder to unwrap properly. And the bread could be less chewy. I am guessing the non-vegetarian sandwiches are great too!! Overall, I would recommend this place
google avatar

Tribecca B.

Yelp
Delicious! My favorite sandwich is the cod, but I haven't tasted one I didn't like. The owner is also amazing. I came in after the pandemic and she was giving away free food to everyone that came in. She didn't advertise it, she just rang people up as $0 after their order was placed and thanked them for keeping their business open through the pandemic. I already loved the food, but that made me a customer for life!!!
google avatar

Kristina R.

Yelp
Gimme that red sauuuuuuuuuuce. I'm a vegetarian and I adore this place. Flavors on point.
google avatar

Samuel C.

Yelp
Love the Food! So much flavor and fresh ! What's not to like! This is pulled pork with Jasmine Rice ! Oh so good
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
I was in Seattle for a couple concerts and one of my friends took me here for lunch. It was my first time trying Caribbean food, and it won't be my last. There's pay parking in their lot, or free parking on the street for 2 hours. You place your order at the front and then find a place to sit. They have both inside and outside seating available. I tried their Red Sauce Plato with Alaskan Cod at a level 3 spice level. The sauce was extremely flavorful and the cod was delicate. The dressing on the salad was light and the beets were a nice addition. The black beans were so really good with a little hint of sweet.. I am very happy I had the opportunity to give this place a try and wish I had some pictures to share. There was so much food, I couldn't finish it.
google avatar

Earnie G.

Yelp
OMG, Paseo! These are the sandwiches you dream of, made by the same kitchen crew who has cooked here for over a decade (well, at the old Paseo). Same. Same. Same. SUPERB! Only issue was one of the snotty millennial counter workers who told me I could not take any photos without permission. Uh huh. That worker needs to have some training in customer service and politeness. That's why I took off one star--no other reason. Great place. Great food. If you've never been, go! If you've been, return! I really need to try some of the non-sandwich menu items sometimes, but it's so hard to not order the fantastic sandwiches. I'll have to try harder next time.

Yelp
Honestly not that impressed with this place especially when considering the other high rated reviews and the pork shoulder being rated one of the best sandwiches in the states. Don't get me wrong-- it was still good, but just nothing special. I would rate the meat itself a 4/5 stars. It was cooked well, tender and very juicy. I just don't think the meat paired well with the bread, the sandwich was thick so it was very difficult to eat and enjoy. When I bit into the sandwich, the meat slid off the bread and was messy. The "best rated sandwich" was just a pulled pork sandwich and I thought the pork shoulder + ham had a better flavor profile from the combo of meats. I think I'd like the sandwiches a lot more if it was on different bread and was easier to eat.

Yelp
I am no expert on Caribbean food. There are definitely some Cuban sandwiches here and a hefty amount of pork. I appreciate it, that they innovated in order to have some tofu dishes. I have never had garlic tofu with beans, rice, and cheese before. It was quite delicious. The atmosphere is casual though colorful. The service was pretty fast. Be aware that it's very crowded at game time but maybe that's what you're looking for!

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick bite last Tuesday evening. We arrived pretty late, around 7:30 or so, so there wasn't much of a line. I ordered the #1, which is noted as "the best sandwich in America", haha. The sandwich was good, but nothing particularly standout. It might be because I don't like cilantro though, so I ordered mine without it which maybe changed the flavor. I'm still curious to try their other sandwiches though since it seems to be really popular, so I'd go back for sure :)

Yelp
Went to the location near the ballparks. Lucky no games today, plenty of parking. Service was pretty good, server took order quickly and got food in reasonable time even though they had a ton of big Togo orders. We got there early and before the lunch rush. Tables clean. Ordered the #1, nachos and Caribbean fries. All my items tasted great. Seasoned well, juicy sandwich, tasty nachos and fries. All came out hot and crispy, juicy meat. This place lives up to the hype. Will def come back if in town.

Yelp
I really want to keep this review short for a place that has simple menu and just ****ing amazing Caribbean chicken sandwiches. I have tried all of their locations several time. Their baguettes are perfectly toasted and buttery - yet not something that would cut through your gums with their toastiness. The chicken thigh are slow cooked and just melt in your mouth. The carmelized onions are soo sweet and juicy and with the aioli in the sandwich...just heaven. I have also had their bowls and shrimp sandwiches. The chicken thigh for me has been the winner over last two years and doesn't seems like that is changing any time soon I would love for it to be more spicy but that is totally a personal preference.

Yelp
Great sandwiches!! I got the chicken sandwich and the chicken was so juicy and tender. I would definitely come back and try a different sandwich. Apparently #1 is the way to go - husband got that sandwich and it was fire! Kids got a bunch of different things to share such as nachos which they highly recommend. Basic sit down place where you order first and then they will call your name when the food is ready. Lemonade was pretty fresh! It wasn't that busy when we got here.

Yelp
Paseo is one of those places where it's a highly recommended must try place if visiting Seattle, I'm a native and finally got around to trying it. So I've been to Florida where there's a huge Cuban population serving authentic Cuban sandwiches, and even my friend from Florida agrees that there's better Cuban sandwiches here. The true true form of Cuban sandwiches is just the piece of flatten bread with basic ham and cheese, here at Paseo, they have varieties of meat and toppings. The most popular sandwich here would be their #1 roasted pork sandwich, it's super flavorful, but it's also super messy. Make sure you either roll up your sleeves or wear a short sleeve shirt because the juice be dripping down to your elbows. I took it home to eat because I wanted to be in the comfort of my home eating like a slob hahaha This is located in SODO district, it's connected to a parking lot but only the 5 spots right in from of the shop is free, the rest is a paid lot so make sure you read the signs. Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)

Yelp
Great food and service. Diverse menu for brunch and breakfast items. The pancakes are awesome!
