Google
This was my first time visiting the area and a friend recommended Pasquale’s for their authentic Wisconsin cheese curds- they were amazing! I had the Chicago style hotdogs with fries which were also great. I’d highly recommend this place to locals and visitors. Next time I’m going to have to try their tiramisu. Great atmosphere and the service was fast and friendly! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Google
I recommended this place to my family and we went with a large group of nine people. We love sitting around the round table with everyone. Everyone was extremely impressed with their meals. We loved the variety of sandwiches as well as being able to combined it with pasta. The vibe is so much fun in there with the vintage feel and fun music. The food is just phenomenal and unique compared to other local restaurants. My dad who is extremely picky about restaurants, and it took a lot of convincing him to go to a new one, told me at the end that he’s adding this to his list of favorites. Which is a pretty big deal. We will definitely be back with the family. For a larger group, I would recommend making a reservation so they can save that table. The outdoor seating also looked nice but it was pretty hot that day so I’m glad we got to sit inside.

Google
Great local place with a great menu. They have a good variety and service was pretty quick. Would definitely make it when in the area!

Google
Not a bad place to get some Italian pasta. I went with the Philly steak and cheese. The fries were delicious along with the sandwich.

On May 6th,2024 Cheese Curd Nerd had the opportunity to stop in here and Try out their Chicago Style Dogs here. This place never disappoints or fails you. Overall they are my go to for these Dogs in the Area. They are definitely authentic and Chicago Style. They are the original 1929 Maxwell St Hot Dogs. These dogs are so flavorful and tasty! If your all about Chicago Style Dogs like myself this is a must stop. Great Customer Service! Huge Portions! Reasonable Prices! Even better food. This place is a must try! It’s always a great experience here.

Google
What an experience! The Italian beef sandwich was amazing. Washed it down with a cold beer (great selection in the color. Ambiance, music and service were all O could hope for. Followed it up with a cannoli which was also super. Thanks Jane, for taking such good care of us!!!

Google
Pasquale's is a cute little diner with a home town feel. In my first trip to Green Bay, it feels like it embodies the city. Very homey, friendly, and hearty. I had the pastrami sandwich with mashed potatoes - and both hit the spot, reviving me from a long day of giving presentations. this is a great spot for a casual lunch, meeting up with friends or a post work beer.

Yelp
Ravioli is delish. I did the mixed sauce, which was a great combo of sauces. Love to see this Depere fave going strong after all these years.

Yelp
Finally got here after wanting to try it for, I dunno, 25 years or so? Service was great! Ambience was fun and reminded me of the Chicago Beef restaurant from "The Bear" so that was cool. The food, while I had no trouble cleaning my plate, was quite mediocre. I ordered the mushroom ravioli with chicken and rosso bianco sauce, which is half red and half alfredo sauce. It was weird that they weren't mixed, but plopped on the plate side by side. I know, I can mix it myself and I did try, but it was hard to do when over a clump of stuck-together ravioli. The chicken was clearly pre-packaged, pre "grilled" chicken (you know those fake grilling lines? It was like that). Garlic bread was tasty but on sort of low-quality bread, it seemed. My mom felt the same about her dish, cavatappi with a spicy red sauce and meatballs, and she said the meatballs were definitely frozen and reheated. She wasn't impressed. I fully understand that we may have ordered the dishes Pasquale's isn't known for. Maybe the sandwiches and Italian Stallion rolls are much better! If you're craving a basic red sauce joint (which I do quite often), this place will scratch the itch. That's about it, though.

Yelp
Cool little place, the menu is perfect just a little bit of everything and some unique stuff on there! I liked the B-52 with hand cut fries. Service was good and the decor is fun. I would definitely stop back when in the area.

Yelp
Pasquale's is the worst excuse for a Chicago style restaurant I've ever been to. Italian beef is flavorless. Ribs are terrible. Gave them multiple tries but every meal was awful. Pasquale's isn't a restaurant . It's a bar w bad food

Savannah J.

Yelp
fries 20/10 honey mustard 20/10 chicago dogs 7/10 chili dog just isn't for me lol so 4/10 probably really good

Kathleen J B.

Yelp
This restaurant is one of my favorites. Everything about the place is great! Love their Chicago style beef & hot dogs! Pastas are wonderful. My husband loves the ribs!

Yelp
Love this place. Fantastic food. Eclectic, vintage vibe/decor, awesome staff. They have it all. On this stop we started with a cup of French Onion Soup-it was a well seasoned and balanced broth with the right amount of onions; topped with rye croutons covered with melted ooey gooey goodness. You can't go wrong with anything here and the Muffuletta Sandwich is no exception. It's outstanding. Honestly my favorite outside of NOLA. We also had some chicken tenders with honey mustard and fries, mmmm.

Debbie M.

Yelp
MICROWAVED MEAL Chicago dog - Disappointed. MICROWAVED Hot dog - MICROWAVED. Not grilled, or even boiled or steamed. Barely warm. Bun - MICROWAVED. Tough & chewy as a result. French fries - Delish!

Yelp
This is a hidden gem. The food is so good and love the ambiance. Music was great I love the history on the walls. I wish I would have gone here sooner highly recommend. My new favorite hangout place

Josh G.

Yelp
This place has great sandwiches which is what I get when I come here. Haven't had much more but when their sandwiches are as good as they are why would I switch it up? Also love to hang out at the bar and have a beer when I'm waiting for my food. Never had bad service here. Only thing I'd like is a bottle or two of bourbon there which would make this place perfect but I'm guessing they're not license for it which is okay. Keep making this sandwiches!

Yelp
We spent $120 and had it delivered. The Italian beef was VERY salty and lacked flavor. This was the most disappointing because Pasquale's used to have killer Italian beef! The Chicken Caesar Salad had a small amt of reheated pale frozen strips of processed chicken. However, the lettuce and veggies were fresh. For the price I feel it should have had decent chicken. Chicken Alfredo was average. Talk of the town sandwich was ok - not much meat and the bread was spongy and odd. Sweet potato fries and French fries were pretty good. Paid $6 for a little thing of French onion soup with some croutons (no cheese?). Sausage & Peppers had just noodles with a watery tomato sauce (flavor?). I know prices have gone up, but you can get a lot better food for your money most anywhere else. I'm happy to pay more for good quality food. Not what it used to be. :/

Yelp
The BBQ ribs here are the best in the area !!! It's a smaller, place but still has adequate seating, and the wait staff is great.

Yelp
The food is delicious and I love the atmosphere. Ever time I order from this place it exceeds my expectations.

Yelp
Met a friend for lunch today. Really great food and service! I would recommend this place...
google avatar

Stephanie K.

Yelp
LOVED this place and their food!!! I loved it so much we ate it for dinner and had to go back the next day for lunch! The ribs are literally fall off the bone, I could pull the bone out and it was completely clean. Very juicy and tender ribs! The pin is pasta with brainless Chicago style chili over pasta, shredded cheese, and the best tamale I've had in a long time! Sounds like a crazy dish but it all works together. This place is worth the drive no matter where you live.
google avatar

Michael G.

Yelp
Jumbo Italian beef, only order if you are hungry. This sandwich is a lot of food. Eggplant fries was a first for me, loved them. Also had the asparagus fries, wow talk about a lot of food.
google avatar

Rob K.

Yelp
Not a bad stop in West DePere, just before the bridge where the roads combine. They have Chicago style Dogs to keep the SNCollege visitors pleased, they are yummy. The chicken, the ribs, pasta and I've already mentioned the hot dogs. The WW2 era images all around make this place a interesting sight. Be sure to sit near the windows and people watch.

Yelp
My wife and I were in the area and were looking for somewhere to get dinner and stumbled across Pasquale's. We put in an order for pickup and it was ready in 20 minutes. She got the Baby Back Ribs and I got Poncho's pasta. Both items were so delicious!! In fact, my wife loved it so much - we stopped by again on the next day so she could get an order of Poncho's. We'll definitely be back. Keep up the delish food, Pasquale's!
google avatar

Robb G.

Yelp
If you like local flare, good food and great staff go to Pasguale's. I recommend Poncho's Pasta. Very cool place with local atmosphere.
google avatar

Logan S.

Yelp
They serve the best Italian beef I have had - it makes it hard for me to want to eat anything else here, honestly. This is definitely the place to stop if you're looking for any kind of Italian sandwich - the portions are huge and everything smells great. For years I had been hearing about their delicious lasagna on Tuesdays and each time I went for dinner they told me it was sold out by lunch time. I did eventually make it on a Tuesday during lunch - it was pretty good, but not all it had been hyped up to be. The service tends to be slow at all times of the day, but the people are nice and the amazing food outweighs the slow service.
google avatar

Brent B.

Yelp
Best ribs I've ever had. Fall off the bone tender and the sauce is second to none in my book. I've been coming here for about 30 years now and while the staff changes, somehow the friendliness never wanes.

Yelp
Came here on a date and heard the microwave cook my food and everyone else's. ew! literally the sound of plate placed on microwave tray. to beeping of buttons pressed. microwave on.. then beep beep beep ... 15 seconds later our food was brought out. Then i couldn't un hear the microwave the entire time i was here, watching everyone's food be brought out. I don't use the microwave at home let alone at a restaurant! ate around my chicken.. will not be back. service mediocre as well. sorry but true!

Yelp
Pasquale's is definitely a local favorite in De Pere. I've been here a couple times, and most recently here for lunch. It's a popular spot, and you want to get there early as it's small and will fill it up fast. It's great if you're going with one or two people and not the best for a big group. They specialize in Italian food, along with Chicago style hot dogs, and New York deli sandwiches. I ordered the jumbo meatball sandwich. I'm kind of glad the meatballs weren't jumbo otherwise they would have fallen out of the sandwich! The sandwich was hot and tasty! They serve some big fries, I couldn't finish them. They have a good craft beer bottle selection. Was pretty excited they had Point Special and Amber...you don't see those beers very often in this area. The atmosphere is cozy, and makes you want to stay and hang out for a while. I love all the kitchy signs all over the restaurant. Gives you something to smile about when waiting for your food. Can't wait to stop here again.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with some coworkers, there were about 6 of us. We called ahead to reserve a spot because we know they're usually busy during lunch but the person over the phone told us that we were okay without a reservation. When we arrived, we were seated right away but it took about 15 mins for our server to take our order. People who came in after us, got their food and left before we got our food. Once the food came out, everything was hot and tasty. I ordered the philly cheesesteak and fries. Philly was delicious but the fries were overcooked and short of fries...more like ends. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals as well. Server apologized for the long wait. Overall experience was decent. I would visit again but won't be in a huge rush to come back.

Dolores E.

Yelp
I don't know what happened to the great "Italian Beef" sandwich here, but it sure went downhill. Bland and not even on Italian bread (some kind of soft bun. This tasted like Gaucho beef you buy in the store. I'm not going back there anymore. I'm from Chicago and I know what the Italian food tastes like

Pat E.

Yelp
This place was an amazing find. The Asiago ravioli was delicious. Go early to get a seat, fills up fast.

Yelp
Well all good things must come to an end and Pasqual's ended a few owners back. Gone are the pots of Italian goodness filling the air to be replaced by the beeping of microwave ovens. The once best in town Italian Beef sandwich is now reduced to jerky like bits of meat that have to be drenched in Au Jus making it impossible to pick up and eat. The home made French fries seemed reheated but the pasta was presented well. Our waiter/bartender was new and he had the bill so jacked up that he wanted us to sign a blank piece of ribbon paper. When I told him I felt uncomfortable with this he said we had to wait while the manager/owner? finished his smoke outside. One the bright side you can get a seat right away because the once crowded lunch hour is gone. I don't think a new coat of paint is going to fix this one.
google avatar

Yelp
Great Lasagna! We lucked into Lasagna Tuesday on our first trip here. We happened to be in DePere and stopped in for lunch. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
I don't think I have had anything that wasn't amazing here! Really neat little place with amazing food. My favorite is the muffuletta sandwich!

Yelp
Says it opens at 11 .....it's 11:05 and the person inside just looked at us a few times ....left to find somewhere that actually wants business ( group of 8)

Yelp
Old world Italian flavours, daily in De Pere. I'm a lover of Italian food. Always looking for new and interesting ways to make Italian foods. My favourite here is the - Butternut squash ravioli. Savoury and delicious. I love the decor with the plane theme. More than once, I've stopped in on the way home from work and picked up something tasty for dinner.

Yelp
I was intrigued when I first heard about Pasquale's International Café. I grew up in NW Indiana, one hour's drive to downtown Chicago so The Windy City has always had a special place in my heart for the city, the culture and, of course, the food. This hole-in-the-wall joint is decorated with a blend of WWII paintings and propaganda along with some signs reminding me of Sweet Home Chicago. The menu seems comprehensive and offers quite a bit for a place with such a small dining area. My wife and I sat at the bar and ordered our dinner on a Sunday evening: starters of cheese curds and eggplant fries. For the entrees, she chose the Italian beef sandwich while I opted for the more robust Windy City sandwich (Italian beef with cheese, red onions and mushrooms). Portion sizes were good and the bartender who took care of us did a great job. Both sandwiches were very filling and flavorful. The eggplant fries were about what we expected--a bland vegetable breaded and fried--but the house marinara sauce brought the fries to life. Similarly, the cheese curds on their own were alright but the dipping sauce that accompanied them sent them over-the-top.

Yelp
Met friends here on Sunday evening for dinner by request from one of them. The person who seated us AFTER he had to clean the table; we were a party of six, looked like someone from a bad biker movie with a beard that was put into the shape of a "V" with tiny pony tail holders. He also became our server and his personality matched his appearance. I wasn't sure if I should even speak to this person for fear of getting my head chopped off, so I made sure that I ordered something that didn't require me asking a question OR two. My requested sun dried tomato ravioli dish with marinara sauce ended up to be cheese ravioli which we were charged for the sun dried version. It was served JUST warm and that was only in spots, like it had been sitting under the heat lamps. The shredded mozzarella on top before serving was an attempt to "freshen" the dish up. Since I was hungry, I immediately picked up the mock Italian bread (was actually a sub roll) , and started to sample the sauce. Since I was the last one to get my food, everyone else in my party had started eating and because the dish washer was, I guess running behind, two of us DID NOT have eating utensils. So I picked up my friends butter knife and attempted to start on my raviolis before they became even colder. A pair of utensils eventually arrived but not before I had managed to "eat" a couple with the knife. A friend of mine at the table picked up the tab. I'm only glad that I wasn't the one who suggested this place.

Yelp
I had been warned that the quality had gone down and confirmed that for myself. Everything about our experience was just ok - I hope they can turn it around this used to be such a fun stop.

Yelp
I enjoy every meal I have here. This time I had the antipasto salad. It was so big, it made 2 meals! You also need to have their fresh hand cut french fries, they are to die for. Don't leave without having a canolli or you will regret it. My husband had the baby back ribs as always, they were perfect as always.
google avatar

Gary H.

Yelp
They have excellent French Onion Soup and a good Greek salad. I've ordered from there several times for take out. The items I order are very tasty and still warm when I get home.

Russ H.

Yelp
My favorite dish is the house pasta with poutana sauce. I'll go there once a month for dinner and a salad. I've been going there ever since they opened.

Yelp
I never learned who Pasquale was and the waitress, a delightful young lass was equally perplexed and said she had never learned. Google couldn't help either. But that aside, this is a quirky little space very near the river in De Pere with a decidedly vintage aviation theme inside. Cluttered, messy, design with a sense of humor, you can quickly gauge they have a strong local following. Some of the signs, humorous notes posted on the walls and bar have clearly been there for a long time. A plate consisting of two Chicago style hot dogs got my attention and were met with delight. Hey, this is like really being in Chicago! A properly prepared bun, green relish, peppers, pickle, everything you'd expect in the Windy City. Washed down with a lunch time Goose Island Honker's Ale and you had a restaurant worthy of hunting down. Ah, and the service. There are rare occasions when you are served by someone so delightful and genuinely nice that you're thinking, "if I owned a restaurant, I'd want this person working for me." That's the young waitress at Pasquale's. Whatever she's being paid, it isn't enough.

Yelp
This is an odd little restaurant in the corner of a tiny town. We stopped in with our parents, who frequent this establishment because of their love for the food. The location is great, it's a cute little place. My father loves the beer options (plenty of craft). We tried lots of food, the appetizer sampler platter, the large rib plate, seafood ravioli, and the house salad. Everything was great! The ribs were my meal, and they were excellent. I would highly suggest them. The portions were very large, impossible to finish by yourself.
google avatar

Randy Z.

Yelp
They have really good food, fast and friendly service. The restaurant is the perfect temperature. It's not too loud and it's not to quite. I can honestly say we enjoyed our dinner there. Only two things I I didn't like: Cheese curds were way over cooked They really don't have a big sign or anything advertising the business, we had to find it using the address itself.
google avatar

Shawn E.

Yelp
Not your typical restaurant. If you're looking for 5-star fine dining don't bother but we like both the food and the atmosphere. It's "International" but the focus is Italian. It's kind of a "townie bar" that serves really good food. Plenty to choose from on the menu with 5 different sauce selections. We've stopped a couple of times and have been happy. Food service is quick and the portions quite large. Reasonably priced. Again, not 5-star food but it's good and there's plenty of menu options. The first time we were here I was really surprised by the offerings. I don't believe they have beer on tap but the bottle selection is large with many American craft and imports. Now, about the atmosphere. It's definitely relaxed. The tables and chairs are unique to a certain era (1970's?). The bathrooms are in need of major renovation to most people's standards. I don't think the place has been touched for some time and some may find this off-putting but it's not dirty and to me adds to the charm. I really don't want to go in to a modern restroom in a place like this. What you will notice immediately and can spend some time looking at is the hundreds of posters and pictures on the walls and items hanging from the ceiling that focus on American involvement in WWII and that era. It's part history, part American pride and part kitsch but in a good way. A small place just West of the DePere bridge downtown that time seems to have forgotten. You can enjoy a good meal with a drink and marvel at our country's contribution to WWII.

Yelp
Oh boy... I really don't want to be the first one to give this place a bad review, hopefully this experience was a one time deal. I spent much of my dinner hour grasping (well, nibbling) for a reason to like this place from the previous rave reviews. Our visit occurred on a night that demanded a comforting plate of hot pasta. When our entrees arrived they were tepid at best. The cheeses garnishing each of our sauces weren't even melted. C'mon people, use the sally maybe? After notifying our waitress she brought back our microwaved meals almost throwing them down on the table because they were too hot to handle. For some reason the Butternut Squash Ravioli that I ordered was sitting in a warm puddle of sour, oiled water. It was very unappealing. Maybe it was the Tossed Fretta that I had picked to top it with. I guess "Fretta" (meaning "hurry" in Italian) means they throw this together in a hurry not even allowing the spoonful of dried Italian herb mix to rehydrate in the sauce. There were also mysterious hard bits in the sauce, could've been chopped nuts or gratings of really hard cheese or who knows... the menu didn't include anything of the sort in the description. The butternut squash in the ravioli, sorry Pasquales, this is one you've gotta work on. I tried to find sweetness, nuttiness, and freshness that makes butternut squash so wonderful. It could barely be found, I've had more flavourful butternut squash in baby food mash. The pasta overcooked, under-seasoned, and disappointing overall, not to mention, barely warm when it first arrived If they offered each type of pasta dish with the appropriate sauce pairing instead of leaving it up to the patron they'd bring out the right attributes in their dishes. I couldn't really find an appropriate sauce for the butternut squash so I just went for one that could contribute to my veggie intake for the day. The Alfredo was suggested as a sauce but recalling how wet the pasta was upon serving it just would've been worse to see separated Alfredo sauce that didn't adhere to said wet pasta. Food aside, the waitresses and, I'm assuming, the owner were all very friendly and the place has a great vibe to it. Really neat place to enjoy a drink or two at but take note that they're only open until 10pm. Bar is not open late.

Yelp
A staple in De Pere. It's small, it's old, it's retro and it's delicious. The gyro platter was always a fave of mine but recently got the Cuban on the waitress's recommendation...she wasn't wrong. Very good. The homemade Alfredo sauce they served for dipping with our cheese curds was . We debated back and forth what it might be which made a fun game but finally had to ask the waiter what it was! It's great. I love old buildings and imaging what it was like in its hey day. It's fun seeing the old pictures and you can just feel the history. It's a tight fit between tables and there aren't many...the bar is long but just know it's a "cozy" feel to it!

Yelp
One of my go to spot's in DePere! Love the food and there's nothing there that isn't good! Try it all is my suggestion! The place is old and there is TONS to look at. I've always enjoyed looking at all the little trinkets. Definitely the best old fashion in town as well. Servers are top notch they have been there a while so they know what they are doing!

Yelp
So far, this is the best food I've had since I moved to Wisconsin. We came here on a whim, and I wasn't expecting too, too much. The decor is interesting and original, it looks a little divey. We talked to the waitress, and I got a rec for the butternut squash ravioli with a sauce that mixes their red sauce with their alfredo sauce. I think that their garlic bread is the best I've ever had when it comes to seasoning. And the ravioli was perfect. The mixture of alfredo and red sauce was amazing, both creamy and hearty. The burst of sweetness from the squash made every bite an experience. My roomie got the Chicago dogs; he's lived in Wisconsin in his life and has traveled to Chicago quite a bit and said that these were the best Chicago dogs he's ever had. We were both very happy with our decision to eat here.

Yelp
Amazing little find in the heart of De pere! Down to earth place, amazing Italian food, priced right and great service! 10/10 recommend

Jayden D.

Yelp
Order was wrong, which happens, not a big deal. The bugs I found in my salad were a big deal. And their response, "not our fault". Disgusting.

Yelp
I loved the eggplant fries and the Italian beef sandwich!
google avatar

Kathy C.

Yelp
Parking sucks. That being said, the food is excellent. Italian Beef is authentic. Comes with Giardiniera on the side. Chicago Hot dogs are authentic as well. Asparagus fries and eggplant fries are scrumptious. The place is on the smaller side, so if you happen to pick the wrong time to go, be prepared to wait for a table. Can get very busy, especially during the school year with St Norbert College right there. But, it's worth the wait.
