Fast casual fresh pasta? Yes, please! This restaurant has been open for only five months, but I'm so disappointed I didn't find them sooner! Everything, from pasta to sauces to bread sticks and dessert, is all made from scratch, in-house. The chef-owner, Cosmo,was on site the day my husband and I visited, and he was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
My husband had the strozzapretti with the Bolognese sauce and sausage. He said the pasta was well cooked and the sausage was tender. He was surprised by the flavor of the Bolognese, as it was more acidic than he anticipated, but he enjoyed it very much. The bread sticks, only 50¢ each, were PHENOMENAL.
I had the fusilli with lobster cream sauce and chicken. The chicken was fork-tender, the sauce was creamy and flavorful, and the pasta was perfectly al dente.
Cosmo said that the pasta shapes and sauces change from time to time. He is currently working on ziti, with the idea of creating baked ziti. We will definitely return, multiple times, over the coming months.
