Had a good experience even though I ordered to go. Tried the Fettuccine & the Spaghetti w meatballs. Both were good, the bread was okay (not a huge bread guy to begin with). The service was great. The entrance threw me a bit because there’s parking on the side, and they have a few overhead signs, but the main entrance has the word “entrance” on the West side. Seems like a nice date place, no dress code but def a vibe to not show up without some effort.

Google
To start with, Mike was wonderful and greeted us warmly with a smiling face! In fact, I gave him a 5-star rating for his service. The food I tried included pasta, garlic bread, and tiramisu, and it all tasted good! I was a bit disappointed with their table booking system, as I was informed there were no tables available until 8 PM. However, when I tried booking online, I was able to secure a table!

Google
Overall I was slightly disappointed with the experience. It was our first visit and it was very hot and had an off smell in the restaurant. The food was just okay and I felt the portion size on my chicken Marsala was a bit small for the price of $26. The wait for our food was also a lot . Our whole dinner was over an hour and a half which for us is a bit long. Taylor, our waitress on the other hand was great. You can tell she was working very hard but continued to have a positive attitude the whole time. We would come back but might order something different.

Excellent Italian food. Wide variety of gluten-free options. Attentive staff. It can be a bit too noisy in their small, wide open space to have an intimate conversation.

Google
Wonderful experience! Went there for a nice dinner out. Put in the reason for the occasion and they included a nice card waiting on the table. The food was amazing! Homemade pasta so delicious. The atmosphere was great. Busy but not noisy. Highly recommend!

Google
Wow! I was super impressed. We had Father's Day dinner with 5 people and everyone was amazed by the food. Service was spectacular as well. Highly recommend the meatballs appetizer! Portions are generous and reasonably priced for the quality and taste of the food. I will definitely return.

Google
Went for our anniversary night, and it was his first time trying Pasta Amore. They surprised us with a card offering us dessert on them. We tried the meatballs to start off, and they were AMAZING. If you get anything else here, that will not disappoint you. Was not a big fan of the bread with the meatballs or by itself. The chicken Parmesean was on point and just as soft and delicious as I remembered. However, the chicken marsala was made with a sauce I personally didn't care for but the chicken was cooked perfect and the asparagus was huge and cooked to perfection. Will be back again for those meatballs!

Google
Food was decent, half the people we went with liked what they ordered. I wouldn't go for the service, they offered grated cheese and black pepper, and then never brought it out. They also box your leftovers for you, which would be nice if it didn't take thirty minutes for them to remember to bring them back.

Yelp
Our most recent visit here was SO good. We sat out on the patio on a beautiful night, which has great ambiance, especially with the sounds of the water fountain. I had the Roman Carbonara...wow. This was delicious. This has to be my favorite carbonara that I've had outside of Italy. My husband is a creature of habit and ordered the pasta sampler again, which he said was great.

Yelp
Has been many years since we were here. Was really just looking for a good meatless marinara sauce, and theirs sounded good on the menu! The service was great for a busy Friday night. Started with the fried ravioli. Definitely never had fried ravioli like this. Was not really breaded just somehow had a crispy ravioli shell around the cheese which I actually enjoyed. Loved their house Italian salad dressing on my salad. I ordered the basic marinara sauce with spaghetti. Marinara did not taste anything as I was expecting. Was fairly bland and could not taste any garlic. Almost had a taste to it That reminded me of a certain popular canned spaghetti. Strange. My dining partner had the Gnocchi with bacon cream sauce. Was not the sauce she was anticipating either. But she said it was OK. As was mine. Was really excited to have the tableside banana fosters as this is my all-time favorite dessert in the world and it's rare to find it anymore. It was fun to watch him prepare it although that's not necessary. I don't even care if it's made in the kitchen and then brought out to me! Good amount of ratio of bananas to sauce. While it had a good taste the downfall is it became gummy rather quickly once poured on the ice cream. The sauce became quite chewy. Didn't stop me from eating more than I thought that I would! Just don't think I would order it there again. Ambience was nice a bit loud, but that didn't really bother me. Again great service.

Yelp
The ambiance was good! When we first walked in, we were seated immediately (for two people). That's not bad for a Saturday night. My only complaint for the atmosphere is that it smells... very heavily of cheese. Our server came around and got us situated. We wanted to try something new and fancy without spending an arm and a leg; they had options for us! We shared bread on the house, which was a great surprise. We could tell it was handmade, and the butter was plentiful. We then got our ravioli frito (fried ravioli), which was okay for an appetizer, but a bit dry and chewy. Since we ordered entrees, we got a soup or salad. We then had the belly button soup, which was great, but the belly buttons were mid. It tasted a bit like au jus, made with fresh beef broth. If you decide to get a Caesar salad, note that it's an actual Caesar salad with freshly made dressing-- thus, there's an up charge for that if you decide to get that as your entree side. I received my alfio dish; everything was great, except the chicken. It was really dry. I would expect better for the price I paid for it. Our server also did the bare minimum of checking in on us. When I had told our server about the dry chicken, she noted it and apologized, but that's it. My friend received her Calamari steak, which was excellent! It was perfectly cooked and larger than we thought the 4 oz pieces would be. Overall, this restaurant was okay; it was a good dining experience, but the food did not meet my expectations and was dry. I think if you're willing to pay for seafood, the food might be more worth the cost and experience.

Yelp
I came here for a work party with my team of about 20 people. This was such a fun spot for it, and very classy! We had a great time, and really enjoyed the privacy of the back room here. We started with some appetizers-- several people thought this was the full meal, since there was so much food! Everything was delicious. We had our own bartender in a small bar within this private room, which was such a nice touch! Especially with a group that drinks a lot like ours. The espresso martini I had was fantastic! They poured the drinks strong too. The entrées were good, the lemon cream, shrimp pasta I got, unfortunately, was not my favorite. But all of the dishes, I sampled were amazing. This just wasn't my cup of tea! If I come back, I will get a more traditional pasta, as I enjoyed those better. Overall, an amazing experience! I highly intend to come back!

Yelp
I recently enjoyed an intimate birthday celebration for a friend here. We had a 7pm reservation on a saturday night, and we're promptly sat. It is a small space, but again, felt very intimate. We started with 2 orders of bruchetta, and all of us enjoy glasses of pellegrino. Our server was handling our table, and a table in another room so she was in and out. We ordered our dinners, all coming with soup and salad. I really liked the broth of the belly button soup. Then came the bread, and then more carbs, the pasta! I got the combo, which includes 4 different pastas. I wish i liked it. I really only cared for the tortellin. My husband and our friend both got the prime rib, it was cooked to perfection!! Very tender. The birthday girl ordered the pasta with the chicken skewer - that is what I will get next time, it was SO good!! Our table neighbors ordered dessert, and we watched the bananas fosters prepared at the table, and we all insisted we must get it. we ordered 2 tiramisus, and 2 bananas foster, it was like dinner and a show. Frankie prepare it perfectly. I took some of the ice cream and put it in my post dinner coffee like an affogato and it was divine. Overall, an expensive, but very hearty dinner with great service.

Yelp
Finally made it to pasta amore and had a great meal. The chicken Parmesan was delicious and I appreciated how every meal came with a soup or salad, specially for the cold weather. If you are going here, you need a reservation, I had a reservation and still had to wait for my table and was put in a very uncomfortable table, which was next to were everyone was waiting for their tables. The service was great and super fast. I will definitely be coming back and ensure I get a better table next time to have a better experience.

Yelp
We were lucky to dine in. It was Valentines Eve and they were booked. However, there were two small tables in the small bar area or seats at the bar. We chose a small table with a bench and it was perfect. Only two of us so we fit in the space perfectly and it felt cozy and warm - I actually liked sitting there! The bread and salad was served first. The bread was very good, different than any other, it wasn't just "bread", kind of crispy on the edges. The salad was good too. We both had pasta Alfredo. He had with shrimp, they were big. I had with steak bites and there was a lot of meat perfectly cooked/grilled! The steak tasted like a summer day of grilling! The bar tender was busy but took good care of us. Took desert to go, Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake!!! Delicious!

Yelp
Everything was fine. Food was meh. Nothing stood out or was worth talking about. Ravioli was undercooked. Generally an awkward experience. Maybe would have been better if we ordered wine . We've been here before and had a great experience, so it felt a little off. They used to have more exciting vegetarian options as well.

Yelp
I was craving some Osso Buco and a nice glass of Chianti. it was fantastic. The service was very good. The ambience is upper scale Italian, intimate without being snooty. There were families, couples, and business associates. I came with a teenage granddaughter and her parents who all were pleased with their meals (chicken, parmigiana, ravioli, lasagna, minestrone, soup, and salad. I would definitely go back again.

Yelp
My visit was different than the regular dining experience. We reserved the party room for a milestone birthday celebration. There was plenty to like. Everybody raved about the food. I went basic with a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs, which was served hot and steaming. Just how I like it. Service went above and beyond. We were a semi-large party with a wide variety of opinions. The staff was super patient - especially with one of us who decided she needed to be difficult. We had a few challenges. The party room was nice, but it was too small for our party of sixteen. I'm not going to blame the restaurant. The person who planned the dinner should have done more research before reserving the space. The party room was also in the path between the kitchen and regular dining room. Staff was in and out all night. They were polite, but they were also an interruption. I would return to dine in the regular dining room based on the quality of my meal. I would recommend doing your due diligence if you're planning a special event in the party room.

Yelp
Our new favorite restaurant in Omaha! Everything was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend the Bellybutton Soup! We had the Donatello with a Brunello di Montalcino and it was a better experience than we have had in places like Vegas, New York or San Diego. 10/10 the service was extremely good as well.

Yelp
Walking into Pasta Amore, I was taken back to the scene where Tessio in The Godfather is talking about the restaurant that Michael is set to "take out" McCluskey and Sollozo. "A small family place, good food. Everyone minds his business. It's perfect." Honestly, need I say more?!? But I will. Our service was sincerely incredible. Mike took great care of us and recommended great dishes. The bread is a must before the meal. But the entrees were just as good. I ate the traditional carbonara. Very good. Be prepared that pasta is homemade so al dente is typically how it is cooked. Some might prefer it to be cooked longer.

Deb K.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. My granddaughter and her fiancé are "foodies" and raved about his chicken dish as well as the bruschetta and tiramisu. Love the house made pasta.

Yelp
Took a chance during Valentines season that we could get a table. Place was busy and buzzing with satisfied diners. We were late birds arriving around 8pm. Waiter was very pleasant and professional. Ordered the Italian Quattro Formaggi with tortellini soup. My husband had the Italian prime rib, a huge portion perfectly prepared. Our food was outstanding as was the overall presentation. Paired with a nice pinot. Truly enjoyed this dining experience

Yelp
I can't review the food or the wait service or anything else to do with this establishment, because I couldn't get past the hostess desk. I took a party of 3 in, and the hostess told me that it was " reservation only " , and that there was a dress code. No jeans, and button up shirt only. I on the other hand was wearing jeans, a ball cap and a hoodie. She said she couldn't seat us. So we left. I will go back , from what I saw the food looked pretty good.

Georgene L.

Yelp
Had the worst ($30) salad ever when I was here with friends this week. Seafood salad filled with calamari tough as rubber. Tasted raw. When server came by and asked how it all was, I said "I'm sorry, but the calamari (the prominent seafood in the salad), is too tough to eat!" She said, "Oh, that's OK!" Didn't want to make a fuss in front of friends so called the manager after I left. He initially had the same nonchalant attitude. But then asked a few more questions and agreed the calamari should have been steamed to a tender state. He was struggling with how to get me a gift card since I paid cash and I finally politely declined and wished him well. Told him I thought he should know as raw seafood could be a health hazard. PS: This is the only restaurant review I've ever posted.

Angela B.

Yelp
Just not good food. The pasta I got took forever and was cold. Server barely came by. Just not the vibe tbh
google avatar

Brayden S.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Service was friendly and quite fast for how busy the restaurant was. We also went on Valentine's Day the ambience of the restaurant was splendid. Highly recommend for all Italian food lovers. Ps: they have a good espresso martini.

Yelp
We had the absolute best time here last night! We hadn't been here in many years, and so much had changed. All for the better! The ambience was immediately right. It felt like the perfect blend of lovely and cozy, bustling yet intimate. And then the service - so nice! Robyn and Katherine in particular were wonderful. Robyn's wine recommendations and Katherine's food recommendations combined to create a top-shelf experience from start to finish. We particularly enjoyed the Linguine Amore, which is bursting with seafood and spice. So flavorful. And the tableside bananas foster is worth the trip all by itself. On arrival we were merely curious if Pasta Amore was worth considering. On departure we felt like valued regulars who had just had another great meal at their traditional date night go-to. Well done, Pasta Amore.

Yelp
Best food, best atmosphere, best service. We go here at least once a month: date night night, family celebrations, and work events. So many options for all diets and pleasures. My personal favorite is the Salmon Greco with Raspberry Amore.
google avatar

Pierre L.

Yelp
I went to Pasta Amore with my mom. The food was really good, we ordered the bruschetta and I highly recommend you do too. They were playing Christmas music in the background and it was very calming. My only complaint was that my fettuccine was spicy, but even then tasted good. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Our party of 5 was seated right away at the time of our reservation! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The food was very fresh and tasted great!
google avatar

Yelp
This place's dishes are not as advertised in the photos on social pages or by the ingredients listed on menu. Our party used to love this restaurant, but the taste isn't close to how it used to be. Cheaper ingredients, less flavor (not talking salt as no one wants over salted) and incomplete mother sauces. Their highly advertised chicken fantasia was a touch gloopy cream sauce (not like pics on their social pages) that has 1 (one caper) and no lemon or wine. No one wants a broken tasteless bechanel and their dishes aren't cheap. They are proud of bad food. Linguine with clams was dry as sand. We got our dishes to go after a few bites to be nice and threw them away. Very expensive evening out that was a waste. Service was great. That's the only positive we have to say about this in 2024.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered takeout and someone else picked it up, so I can't speak to the service or the restaurant itself. I ordered the baked beef ravioli with Bolognese sauce, my dinner partner had chicken Alfredo and we ordered the spinach artichoke dip to share. He really enjoyed the Alfredo and we both really liked the spinach artichoke dip. But my ravioli tasted good on the first bite, but after the 3rd bite I couldn't eat anymore. It was soooo very salty. I put it away and tried to eat it again today with an egg with no salt, hoping it would help, it didn't. Heck the egg tasted salty and I purposely didn't salt it. So I ended up tossing the whole dish, I had eaten very little of it. Maybe it was a bad batch and no one tasted it before they served it, which is a huge chef no no. I may go back for the dip, but I'm not interested in the other entrees since they don't taste before they serve.
google avatar

Jill K.

Yelp
I made reservations online for a party of 6 the day we wanted to dine there. There were limited time options available for us but we wanted early so that worked out just fine. We were quickly seated and our drinks orders were delivered just as fast. We started with the bruschetta and it was nothing short of amazing. We all got salad which was good but nothing special. The bread was yummy with the ricotta! Every single one of us dived right into our entrees and cleaned our plates. Not a single complaint!!! Everything from the gnocchi to the shrimp scampi to the carbonara was outstanding! We were there for a birthday and decided to split two pieces of tiramisu. The server added a candle on one of the pieces for the birthday girl, who is in her 50's! The decor was charming, but could use a refresh! Overall we were all impressed and will definitely be back!

Yelp
This was our first visit to Pasta Amore. After hearing from others about it we were expecting an outstanding place to eat. Our hopes were not met. Average would be our rating for the evening experience on a Saturday night in December. Our server, David was good. He established rapport quickly, was well versed in the menu, and was attentive throughout the evening. A highlight was the quality of the Negroni and the wine. We chose a Gattinara Riserva 2019 from Travaglini Winery in Italy. It's a Nebbiola grape with nice minerality, lighter in body and a good finish. I ordered the Roman Carbonara Tradizionale and my spouse chose the Shrimp Scampi. Both dishes would rate as average for presentation, flavor, and originality. Neither of us felt we would order these again. Overall, the experience was good, just not as great as we had hoped it would be. There are several other Italian restaurants in Omaha that I would recommend over Pasta Amore.
google avatar

Brad B.

Yelp
Great service and clean environment. Reservations are recommended as it does get busy. The meal started off with Mozarella Frito which was delicious. The carbonara has just the right amount of pancetta and a fried egg on top of it. The salmon was cooked perfectly in the Salmon Greco appetizer.

Azrael R.

Yelp
The food was unbelievable and unique. I took my wife here as a Valentine's Day date, and we were thrilled with how delicious this place was. The staff was on top of everything, and made sure to check on us regularly. We will absolutely be back!
google avatar

Karen W.

Yelp
Our waiter was top notch, but the food was pretty terrible . Between 4 of us, 3 of the meals were super bland - literally no seasoning at all. One got spaghetti and meatballs, one got clam linguini, and the other , who ordered risotto, got a bed of rice and random veggies. Even with salt and pepper, it still wasn't good and my clam linguini was almost inedible. The espresso martinis we got at the end were just chilled coffee and vodka and I had to ask for cream and sugar to add. Would not go back again. Again , our waiter was awesome which is who the 1 star is for.

Haley J.

Yelp
Food was good! Service was 10/10, I believe our waitresses name was Kaitlin, she was on top of it all! Drinks, when was a good time to order & checking in on us. Parking lot for parking. Restaurant was very clean and old school Italy vibes. We don't usually go out for pasta but this was a great exception!

Cheryl L.

Yelp
I'm just curious as to how somehow can rant and rave (positively) about the service and the food and then give a review of 4 stars!! I, for one, would give Pasta Amore as many stars as I could. The food was the best I have had for a long time! I had Salvio (chicken breast, angel hair spaghetti, capers, tomato, marinara, artichokes...subbed for asparagus...with lemon cream sauce). This may sound minor, but the Italian salad dressing...homemade...was excellent as well. Our server was excellent. We had 2 bottles of wine with dinner. My dinner companions had different entrees, but enjoyed them as well. What a wonderful evening!

John M.

Yelp
Pasta Amore used to be my favorite restaurant. One could always expect a great meal there...until now. First came the ciani. I like that wine. I am not a wine oenophile, so when the wine came out with lots of sediment on the bottem of the class, I was a bit dismayed. Italian restaurants, including this one at one time, start with the ubiquitous bread and olive oil with parmesan That is now gone for some bread that is huge and reminiscent of corn bread. I loved the bread and olive oil, and it was missed. The appetizer was fried ravioli. That was good. The entrée I ordered was one of my favorites, eggplant parmesan. I love the breaded slices of eggplant covered with sauce and parmesan cheese. Except this restaurant, under new management, doesn't believe in breading the eggplant. Thus, my dinner turned out to be the perfect meal for a person who had no teeth. The eggplant was super soft and mushy. The sauce was tasty. The eggplant was something meant for someone who cannot chew. Except for the skin of the eggplant, it became kind of gross. The angle hair that is the side to this dinner was fine. The service was fine also. The restaurant was busy and we were not in a hurry. I might go back there again, but I will not order the that meal. I will skip the bread also.

Yelp
Well -- this place was my favorite restaurant in Omaha for a while. It was so good that I made six visits in a very short period of time The brandy chicken was so amazing on some nights that I told the staff that if I ever committed a crime and was forced to choose a last meal before execution, this would be the meal. The service is always great and the atmosphere seems festive. The wine is decent and it is a fun place to go. The problem is that the original owner, who was from Italy, sold the place in early 2021. That's when the food started to suffer. The new owner is also the person that owns Timber. If you have ever been to Timber you know that sometimes the menu seems to outpace the execution. Timber never seems to live up to the promise. Now Amore seems to be sliding into that same arena. It's worth going ...just know that you may never have the same meal twice -- even if you order the same entrée.

Yelp
This place is an absolute Omaha gem, if you need to get your Italian fix, this is it! Everything they do looks and taste so authentic. I particularly love their lasagna and the fried ravioli is to die for. You always are welcomed with a smile, and the servers are helpful. The place is clean and gives that perfect Italian feel so that when you're full and ready to leave, your satiated with that Pasta Amore a feeling!!!!

Yelp
Strip Mall ambiance not much you can do about that. Service was ok to poor. Eager to say good bye but not eager to say hi. They forgot my salad and forgot to put in or lost our appetizer order. Linguine amore had lots of fish which was great. Except the white fish had freezer burn and tasted like a smelly beagle. If you have a beagle you will get that reference. I can't say I'd ever eat there again. If someone would have asked how the meal, service, ambiance or anything was maybe they could have redeemed themselves? The food quality was extremely bland so if you like bland Italian food this is for you. And note to the chef the morel bruschetta should be a game changer but you dosed it with so much garlic that it ruined the delicious delicacy of the mushroom.

Karen M.

Yelp
What a disappointment tonight's dinner was. We meet with several couples tonight for dinner. We believed we were going to be in a special room but it appeared to be a storage room with a table for 11. we were there to 15 minutes before we saw a waitress for a drink. service was disappointing and food marginal.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is dreamy. We came in on a Friday night and started with drinks. The limoncello martini was SO GOOD. We started with an appetizer sampler and had the most delightful olives and marinated red peppers and mozzarella ever. We ordered two entrées that our server recommended. Both items were delicious. I love their house Italian dressing. The tables have candles on them, and there was music playing, and it felt nice enough for a fancy day, but also comfortable enough that I could bring my own kids in there and have a family dinner. Definitely at the top of my fave places in Omaha. Service was slower, but in the best way. You had time to savor each portion of the meal and nothing felt like it took "too long". It was truly a wonderful experience

Yelp
Truly a hidden Jem. Great food, old fashioned service. Everyone should give it a try!

Yelp
I've always heard amazing things about Pasta Amore so I figured we'd try it for our Christmas Eve meal! We were seated immediately and brought water... then we just sat... for a good 15 minutes we waited for anyone to acknowledge us and take our drink order but no one did. My dad finally said something to the host and he ended up taking our drink and appetizer order. All of the sudden 3 waiters are trying to help us. Once we figured out who our waitress was supposed to be, she was nervous at first but really picked it up by the end of the meal. Our time didn't start our great but the food was good and the drinks were yummy, and luckily our waitress really made our time there fun once we were finally served. It's not my favorite Italian in Omaha but it's sure worth a try!

Paul C.

Yelp
The food was not good and it was plain with No Taste and this restuarant don't allow customers to see any prices. So you place an order knowingly you don't know how much your spending and again the food was not worth the price and your being over charged for your dinner. I am a cook over 25 years cooking and anyone at home can cook the same exact food this restuarant cooks and with someone that DON'T HAVE ANY EXPERIANCE CAN DO A BETTER JOB THEN WHAT YOUR BEING SERVED at Pasta Amore. My visit was not great and I will never go back knowingly I spent 40.00 dollars on something that could have better. The service was good but the food was carbage. There is No star rating on this experiance I had there.
google avatar

Audrey R.

Yelp
Service was outstanding. Food not so much. Being 100% Italian the food here is not up to Italys standards. Food was not piping hot. That is so important. Red was sauce was very bitter and had no taste. Eggplant was mushy/wet, bitter and again no taste yet drowning in sauce. Popcorn tortellini were dry, cold and over cooked. Carbonara was dry / pasty and over powering with guanciale/ pancetta. Bread. This might be better served. See pics. Your sliced bread was not impressive. Pasta Combo, slapped on a plate and everything tasted the same. Mussels were good but very heavy on the hot spices. Use a bit less so the dish can be more enjoyable. Caesar salad should not look like chopped salad. Once you dine in Italy it's very difficult to find an excellent Italian restaurant in the US. There are several gems but hard find them. It's about quality not quantity, taste and presentation.

Yelp
I grew up hearing about this place because my parents would go all of the time. They absolutely loved it and would rave about it. I went a few years ago and loved it but then moved and forgot it was there. Then fast forward to this week - a friend turned 40 and wanted some really great Italian food so I suggested we go here. We were in no way disappointed! Everything was SO good from the food to the service. We started by having bruschetta and caprese. They were both very good, although I probably would not order the bruschetta again, but the caprese was delightful. Now on to the entrees.... the table all ordered different items; -Beef tortellini with con panna (cream sauce and bacon): SOOO good, but VERY rich! -Housemade Pasta Combo: Such a wonderful spread! It was really nice to be able to try 4 different things and they were all AMAZING! -Rigatoni di Pollo: This was light, refreshing and had an awesome sauce. Highly recommend this! -Marsala: Traditional item, but they did it so well. It was so nice and flavorful! -Donatello: This one stole the show. We all LOVED it. I would honestly order this for myself next time. I am not a big sausage fan but this dish was phenomenal! Such excellent flavors, a little spice but not overpowering. Seriously we all loved it so much. OH also - the bread with the truffle butter they give out was out of this world. Best bread and butter I have had in a long time! Go here, you will not regret it!

Yelp
This was one of the best meals I've had this year. The Osso Buco was delicious. Outside of a forgotten drink the service was very competent. Very impressed all around.

Yelp
Classy venue with inside outside seating, intimate tables for small parties. Food was what I would expect from Italian restaurants, nothing special with the flavors or presentation and not much options for vegetarians. Service was absolutely horrible, drinks brought one at a time, received my drink last and it was just from a can. Plates were not cleared, bread not brought out mid dinner after asking.

Yelp
So the gal who gave this place 1 star because the food wasn't as good as what she had in Italy. What a psycho. Anyway, 3.5 star avg does not do this justice. I would go for the bread alone, it's wonderful. The red sauce is excellent. Apps were excellent. Drinks are great. Main course was very good. A solid 4 stars. Give it a try.

Yelp
This is a very popular spot for locals. I would say it's 4 stars for dine in, and 3 stars for the food as take out (which is how we have been dining mostly during the pandemic). The ambience and the food is always homemade and very fresh, and I like that a lot of the dishes are not too salty. The staff is really great as well and the restaurant has a nice little patio to dine on. This is definitely a splurge meal, as the prices here are a lot for pasta and sauce. Even when I order a marinara without meat or any protein, it is over $20. If price is no issue, definitely check it out!

Yelp
This place keeps getting better and better. The service here is always excellent. The food is consistently fantastic. While the previous chef was quite good, the recent menu changes are great additions. The restrooms are always clean. Of note to some friends was the house-made bread, feeling a bit like Grisanti's of old. The steak salad is a winner. The pasta sampler was delicious. Regarding the review that says that this restaurant is not up to Italy's standards, that's comparing apples to oranges. As a former, long-term resident of Italy, (una persona che parla italiano e conosce quella buonissima cultura) I can say that the ingredients, restaurant experience, seasons, beverages, ambiance, etc., in Italy are just different. Pasta Amore is an Italian-American restaurant. It's rooted in Omaha's Sicilian history. Looking for today's Italy here will only lead to disappointment. Looking for a flowering of Omaha's Sicilian-Italian-South O-American history will lead to pride in this local gem.

Yelp
This restaurant is in 108th and Center Rd. Classy decor as an old-school Italian restaurant. A bit clustered, though with appropriate lighting. We got a sampler of their appetizers, which was amazing, their fettuccine alla puttanesca and spaghetti with calamari. The puttanesca sauce was on point and absolutely loved it. The calamari, though was a bit stale in flavor which was disappointing. The portions were huge so, even though the place is pricey, I think its worth giving it a try given the generous plates and the amazing flavors. The entire setting is great for a date or meeting with friends. Excellent place!

Yelp
Hadn't eaten here for several years. Not sure why but it was as good if not better than I remembered. Had the Lemocellitni cocktail. Great way to start the meal. Friend had the Chicken Brandy I wanted their house made pasta but will think again next time as the chicken was so tender and flavorful. The Donatello pasta was what I was spot on for what I was craving. Server wonderful and attentive. Atmosphere lovely but not too noisy. Won't take so long to revisit.
