Very good place for pastas. Very kind owner and staff. Atmosphere is always so positive, upbeat and relaxing. I love their spaghetti the best. The garlic bread is always fresh and amazing. It's usually busy so waiting isn't too bad but there is most of the time a wait if there wasn't a called in order ahead of time. Other than that it's pretty good!

Food is always excellent along with their service and atmosphere! Food; is decently price for the amount you get and one of the most tasteful and cheapest Italian food places in town with how good it is! Service; is never an issue! The atmosphere; is calming. I extremely enjoy eating here and their bread sticks and brownies are a must try!!

The BEST italian food I have ever tasted, and I used to work at Angelo's. The service was utterly fantastic and the food managed to beat out SOUTHEAST CARRY-OUT, which we love. They have not only earned our money, we almost can't wait to go back! I had the Cheese Manicotti w/alfredo and stuffed mushrooms baked in cheese sauce and it was a flavor-gasm of awesome! My wife had the Chicken Manicotti w/Marinara and a side of meatballs in marinara. I HIGHLY recommend this place! And yes they do catering if you want! I have included the menu and the catering menu! They're delicious but they are rarely open. We've been trying to get them for over a week now and they've been closed every day and the app/site says they still won't be open until next week. Would easily be 5 stars if they were actually open like other restaurants.

OH MY GOODNESS IS THIS PLACE AMAZING. The gentleman at the counter was so sweet and patient! We ordered the mozzarella sticks and ravioli. Sooooo fresh and amazing! Also can we talk about how cheap their prices are for the portion and quantity! NEW FAVORITE PLACE ALERT!!

Very quick great portions! I ordered the daily special which was fettuccine Alfredo with crispy chicken, breadsticks and 2 brownies all for $7.95! Highly recommend this place and the two people were super nice behind the counter as well!

I cannot recommend Pasta Express enough!!! They are SO careful with allergies! Both the gentleman up front and the chef in back checked everything and talked me through the menu! I was able to have some delicious grilled chicken and steamed veggies. I brought in a dear older friend of mine who hadn’t been out to eat since the pandemic started, because she wanted Italian. She was thrilled with the stuffed mushrooms—she said they were incredible! I will absolutely be back with friends and family. Thank you for caring and providing such wonderful Italian cuisine!

Bread was delicious. Mozzarella sticks had that pull that you look for. My kids said the alfredo needed more sauce and the spaghetti was basic. The chicken Marsala I do not recommend. Worst Marsala I have ever had in my life. I couldn't do more than two bites. It was sweet, almost like the chicken was coated in cinnamon. This is one of my favorite foods to eat and if I had tried this first I would never try it again.

OMG! I am so excited to find Pasta Express. I had no idea they were connected to Sweet Basil! I was so sad when Sweet Basil closed.... so I'm excited to find this place! I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. Delicious. Tucked away in a strip mall.... but OMG so good.

Clean front of house. Food way meh, pasta overcooked. Sauce was red, lacking flavor. Service though, less than desirable. If you have someone working to great and take orders, they should have a few personable skills and the ability to greet customers without being simultaneously on her phone.

This place may be ran by Asians but my goodness, their Cajun shrimp fettuccine Alfredo is top tier! It's spicy, creamy, and filling! The shrimp are large, the noodles are al dente, and the bread is soft.

I found Pasta Express a decent option for a quick pasta lunch in Wichita. Quality wise, it sits somewhere between Fazoli's and Olive Garden, but portions are generous, prices are more than fair, and the selection is good. I got the Alfredo with crispy chicken and an order of motz sticks. All of this food was like $16, and was easily splittable between two people. The chicken was thin and crispy but still pretty moist...the breading could have used a little more seasoning, but it was still good tasting. The pasta was ever so slightly Al dente, as it should be, and the Alfredo sauce struck a good balance of flavor, though it was slightly more runny than I prefer...not watery, just not as creamy as I would have liked. The motz sticks were good, but they taste like they're probably frozen. While not quite as good as Sonic, they're 8 for $5, so you can't complain too much. All told, Pasta Express is a very reasonably priced lunch spot to get a good meal...it's unlikely to knock your socks off, but you can't do much better for the cost.

I love pasta. My husband told me about a place that only serves pasta dishes. We came for lunch and I was not disappointed! I ate a fettuccine with italian chicken. There was plenty! I tossed some parmesan over it and dug in. The container looked like it wasn't much, but looks are deceptive, as I was full! My husband had I tf alian sausage over spaghetti. He let me try a piece of the sausage. Delicious! Prices are reasonable, portions are generous. We will visit again.

The food is amazing. It's in a weird neighborhood but take out is available. I recommend the Chicken Picota or chicken Marsala is good too

Very friendly staff! The guy at the counter was very soft spoken and accommodating. The food was flavorful and the portions were generous, especially considering the price. My young son and I wanted a nice meal that was NOT from a fast food place. Something that wasn't a burger or processed taco. He actually found this place on Yelp and we gave it a go. So glad we did as I think it was the best Italian food I've had in quite a while. We will DEFINITELY be going back!

Fast. Friendly. Great taste. Not what you'd expect from the locale. You'll not be disappointed however. Portion sizes are generous. Quality of the food is very good. Flavor is wonderful. This is a nice, hidden gem.

Ran by one of the previous owners of Sweet Basil. The recipes are tired and true! Love their chicken teriyaki and spicy shrimp fettuccine. The steamed veggies were perfectly good. Lightly flavored with butter, I believe. The breadsticks are freshly made and delicious! Happy they give two for each entree. You have to try their ranch, I believe it's homemade and it's so addicting. Food is plentiful and affordable. I usually have leftovers for another meal. I love that their food comes piping hot, just the way I like it! I work very close by and it's a quick lunch stop to go with friends. Staff is friendly as well!

Another weekly trip to our new favorite Italian place in Wichita. This time husband tried the chicken Parmesan and I tried the lasagne. Both had excellent flavor. Little too much tomato taste for us, but still is classic Italian. Another set of brownies and breadsticks came with the meal. I am telling you the breadsticks are very very good. I will keep coming back to try new dishes. Again we had excellent service.

Since discovering Pasta Express, I now eat her once a week for lunch. Call it in and take it back to the office. I've go as far as calling in food to go and driving from our home at W.119th & N. 13th St. My wife has also fallen in love with their food. Don't let the location of this place fool you. The food it is outstanding and well worth the wait or drive. Give it a try and you won't be sorry.

They have THE BEST alfredo here!!! I used to be obsessed with olive gardens but MAN, they can't even compete with Pasta Express! It's the best pasta I have ever had. Plus the owner (or maybe a manager) is so so so cute! He's always so happy to help me and very thankful for the tip we leave him. And the other workers are always very friendly too! I love coming here!

Pretty good place to get pasta on the go. Never had any complaints. They have have some pretty good combos of pasta that are pretty tasty. Definitely a great spot for lunches.

When I heard that the cooks here used to cook at Sweet Basil, I had to go try it right away. This place isn't fancy but the food is good. I love the fried mushroom appetizers. Lasagna is my favorite. The price point and portion size is perfect, too. I like how everything is already served in a to-go container so if you're dining in, you don't have to worry about asking for a box for your leftovers.

Delicious food! We had the shrimp fettuccine alfredo and penne meat pasta. It was amazing! We also got the chicken wings are well seasoned, and cooked perfectly! Inside was nice and clean and food came out quick. 10/10 would recommend!

Love the variety they offer! We ordered a staff lunch with them and they made the process very convenient! We called in and picked it up, was ready in less than an hour and had all the orders correct. We really appreciate their kindness during this COVID19 ordeal. The spicy shrimp alfredo is amazing! The breadsticks are worthy and super tasty. Would skip on ordering the cheesesticks again but everything else is good! The meatballs are huge and super good. Will return!

Hard to come by a restaurant with good, homemade food that isn't processed and don't overcharge you for what you get. Prices were much cheaper then what you'd see at a big chain like Olive Garden. Server was extremely helpful when giving us what we needed and made sure to instill some kindness in our hearts.

This is a wonderful place to go if you're just feeling some pasta. I tried the Caesar salad which was really just a salad. But I also had the meat manicotti and it was superb. One of the best manicotti dishes I've had in years. It's not fancy and they mean it when they say express: everything comes in to go dishes and comes out quick despite a small rush before us. But if all you want is good pasta, then this is definitely the place!

This is absolutely the best Italian food ever. We've gone to most of these places in Wichita and no one beats Pasta Expresses food taste, quality or quantity. Absolutely love this place. We discovered this little place just because I absolutely love Italian food and was in the area helping a lady from church and seen it and decided to give it a try and I made the best decision ever that day. That was back in September 2019. We go there at least 3-4 times and sometimes more now that we can get delivery. I'm really picky when it comes to Italian food. I've eaten at several very well known places here in Wichita and I promise you will absolutely love the food especially the price and quantity with awesome flavor. So,so good you won't be disappointed. Our 5yr old absolutely loves their spaghetti and meatballs and mozzarella cheese sticks and fried ravioli's. He also loved the stuffed mushrooms and doesn't believe that they are stuffed mushrooms he thinks there cheese balls. Where we order his dinner gets pretty big and hard to choose from because he loves all except the spicy dishes his dad loves. Go in or order delivery for yourself or your family you won't be disappointed or empty your bank account, great taste and price for the quantity and quality you get .

I never leave reviews but Pasta Express deserves a major shout out! I've been eating there very often for a couple years now and NEVER once have I had a single complaint. It does not matter the time of day, food is always consistently delicious. Portion sizes are awesome and price is very affordable. Only thing I would change is I wish there were more locations!!

Pasta express is a place I found one day after a long practice and wanting pasta. It is actually a great alternative to an olive garden. When you first walk in you're greeted by a friendly staff. The smell of garlic and alfredo sauce hits you hard and it smells amazing. The space is in a strip where there are plenty of other places to eat but it stands out. It is very clean and worth the small wait you'll experience. My first time trying it I tried the spicy shrimp which was so great and had so many different flavors and the texture was great all at once. The breadsticks are freshly made and delicious! Happy they give two for each entrée.

Although the place is small and not the best looking restaurant, The food speaks for itself, much better than the big box store Italian restaurants in town!

I used to love this place. When it first opened up the food quality was very good. But here of late I would have to say the quality of the food is lacking very much. I just ate at pasta Express and I was very unhappy to say the least. The stuffed jalapenos used to be almost like handmade at the restaurant, but this time the breading sucked it was tasteless it was soggy and almost room temperature. The jalapeno itself, the skin was tough I almost couldn't bite through it. And the jalapeno had absolutely no flavor and no heat. The breadsticks used to be of a decent size but this time they were smaller did not seem fresh we're almost tasteless. I ordered the cheese manicotti with the Alfredo sauce, it used to be thick rich and velvety and now it's too runny, there seemed to be more filling in them before. I asked for it to be spicy this time and there was no spice to it at all. The sauce was also lacking in flavor. I think pasta Express needs to lower their prices to match the poor quality of food they have served lately.

Really good options, fast service, offers dine in & takeout. Also can get delivery through Doordash all Post-COVID, unsure if other services also service. Not gourmet exactly but it is downright good!!!

Affordable freshly prepared and very tasty. A really nice spot to eat for quality fair price and quick friendly service. I highly recommend Pasta Express and yes they give you a lot of food for small amount of money that they ask for. Truly a delicious delicious spot when you have a pasta craving.

Great food at reasonable prices. Place was clean and service was quick. I had the Alfredo chicken on angel hair pasta with a Caesar salad. Serving was big enough for lunch the next day also.

Really lovely people and the servings are massive. I ordered the manicotti with alfredo sauce and it was so yum! My two little boys shared one regular order of the spaghetti with meat sauce and loved it as well. Really good local little spot.

We live in Boston & wanted to send a Happy Birthday dinner to our son who is at the McConnell AFB. Before I placed the order with Doordash, I spoke with Jason several times. Jason was friendly and patient with all my questions. I told him I was ordering 3 dishes but didn't want them all to be Fettuccine. I asked him if he could change 1 w Angel Hair and 1 w Penne, he said he surely would do that. My son called me to let me know Doordash was meeting him at the Front Gate.... right on time as requested :) He said the food smelled so good. He put two dishes in the refrig and had the Alfredo Fettuccine w Spicy Shrimps while we visited over Zoom. He said it was delicious and confirmed he indeed had 3 different pastas for 3 dishes. He said he will bring his buddies over sometime :) THANK YOU, Jason at Pasta Express for making such special birthday meals for our son who is so far away from home. A happy and thankful AF Mom :)

They have the best pasta! I've had the shrimp Alfredo and I would recommended. It comes with two breadsticks which is very nice. The side orders are big enough for one person.

So good! Their manicotti, anyway they serve it, is a favorite treat I enjoy at least twice a month if not more. The prices are great and you get a lot of food. I also love be their garden salad served with the "real" ranch dressing.

My husband and I were in the mood for quick pasta and Pasta Express was just what we were looking for! We ordered the large Italian salad with ranch, toasted ravioli, and two combo meals- penne and chicken alfredo. The salad was crisp, fresh, lots of olives and banana peppers. The ranch dressing tasted homemade and was delicious. The toasted ravioli came with a very fresh tasting side of marina. The alfredo and penne with meat sauce were pretty average but still good. The breadsticks were soft, garlicky, and buttery. The portion sizes were huge! We paid a little over $30. We each ordered an entree. Instead, we split the entire meal and have another whole meal for leftovers. Overall, would recommend and visit again
