The 20 Best Restaurants In Wynwood - Miami - The Infatuation

"These days, if a restaurant is smashing burgers or selling pasta, there’s an 80% chance it’s happening in Wynwood. But Pasta has a refreshingly light cacio e pepe, razor clams topped with ‘nduja, and a funky gorgonzola and mascarpone cheesecake that proves there is room for another Italian restaurant in Wynwood—especially if it’s this good. Other than some starters and dessert, pasta makes up the entire menu. It has the standard Wynwood look of minimalist decor and exposed ductwork, so nothing here will distract you from the cacio e pepe. It's outstanding—and tossed in a cheesy sauce that doesn’t overwhelm the true star of the plate: the fresh noodles." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino

The Best Pasta In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"We didn’t add Pasta to this guide just because of its name. All of the pastas on the menu are made in-house, whether it’s a squiggly noodle or a plump agnolotti. Our favorite is the cacio e pepe. We know Miami is saturated with cacio e pepe, but this is the standout. The pulverized pepper works its way into every bite. And the cheesy sauce, while rich, doesn’t overpower the true star inside this bowl: the fresh noodles." - virginia otazo, ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino

The Best Kid-Friendly Restaurants In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"A lunch here is the best way to introduce your kid to the wonderful world of pasta beyond mushy noodles topped with Kraft dust. Just don’t come on a busy Saturday night. It is in Wynwood, after all. But if you come on weekends when they’re open for lunch, it’s more of a family crowd. There are no high chairs, but they have booster seats that attach to their booths. Since it’s in Wynwood, near walkable shops and many massive murals of Messi, you can take a stroll afterwards and try to find that guy who walks around with a rooster in jeans." - mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer

The 14 Best Italian Restaurants In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"Sometimes, when you say you want Italian, you really just want pasta. That’s exactly what Pasta is great at. Originally from Peru, this restaurant makes all its noodles fresh. Other than some starters (get the razor clams) and dessert (get the gorgonzola cheesecake), pastas make up the entire menu. If you can only prioritize one, go for the refreshingly light pici cacio e pepe, a redemption to all the subpar bowls of cacio e pepe floating around Miami. The dining room has the standard minimalist Wynwood look, and works for a casual dinner at the counter or a last-minute date night." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo, mariana trabanino

Pasta - Review - Wynwood - Miami - The Infatuation

"These days, if a restaurant is smashing burgers or selling pasta, there’s an 80% chance it’s happening in Wynwood. But Pasta, originally from Peru, has a refreshingly light cacio e pepe, razor clams topped with ‘nduja, and a funky gorgonzola and mascarpone cheesecake that proves there is room for another Italian restaurant in our city—especially if it’s this good. photo credit: CLEVELAND JENNINGS / @EATTHECANVASLLC Other than some starters and dessert, pasta makes up the entire menu, and Pasta’s pasta prices are mostly under $25, which isn’t bad compared to its ever-growing competitors. It has the standard Wynwood look of minimalist decor and exposed ductwork, and works for a casual dinner at the counter, a last-minute date night, or a weeknight family dinner. Food Rundown photo credit: CLEVELAND JENNINGS / @EATTHECANVASLLC Razor Clams, Housemade ‘Nduja, Salsa Verde Challenge yourself to slurp these narrow clams in one go. That way, you get a juicy, meaty, citrusy bite that gets more flavorful with every chew. photo credit: CLEVELAND JENNINGS / @EATTHECANVASLLC Pici Cacio E Pepe To everyone who’s been recently affected by subpar cacio e pepe (an epidemic in this city), this is your redemption. The cacio e pepe here is tossed in a cheesy sauce that doesn’t overwhelm the true star of the plate: the fresh noodles. photo credit: CLEVELAND JENNINGS / @EATTHECANVASLLC Agnolotti Di Funghi With Butter And 36 Month Parmigiano Reggiano It looks like a snow-capped mountain and tastes like it was made in a mushroom and parmesan cheese farm, which is precisely where we want to be once we retire. photo credit: CLEVELAND JENNINGS / @EATTHECANVASLLC Tarta De Quesos You’re obviously coming here for pasta, but you’re also staying for dessert. Specifically, for this cheesecake that’s more gorgonzola than cake. Still, if you’re a person who loves to end dinner with a sharp cheese instead of a sweet dessert, this is the slice for you. photo credit: Mariana Trabanino Torta Di Pistachio Di Bronte For a sweeter dessert, go for the delightful pistachio di bronte. It’s nutty and comes with a dollop of tangy cream to balance out the sweetness." - Mariana Trabanino
