Google
I visited Pastaio and had a really great experience overall. The staff were very attentive, kind, and professional, which made the visit enjoyable from the start. The pizza was delicious and along with the bottled beer, and bread they served! My only concern was the price — the small pizza felt a bit too expensive for what it was $20.00. While I was there, I also overheard another customer ordering two pizzas and her total was around $45, which seemed pretty high. That said, the quality of the food is definitely there, so I’d say this place is worth trying when your budget allows. Despite the prices, I genuinely enjoyed my time here and appreciated the excellent service & really delicious Pizza. 10' Cauliflower Blondie Pizza!

Easily accessible from the Main Road, Village Center Dr and not far from I 95 Exit 118. Plenty of Free Parking including for Handicap accessible Vehicles. The Restaurant was clean and well staffed by friendly employees. Restrooms were also available and clean. Now if you Pine for a Meal that reminds you of Grandma's Kitchen, or food from Little Italy or a meal fit for the Sopranos, Fuggedaboutit, this is the place. Joana the owner has made her restaurant an excellent place to Eat with Great Food. She has checked all the Boxes! The Menu has something for everyone and it's all prepared fresh, everything was perfect! Our meals were prepared as requested, the portions were more than ample and in our opinion the prices were very reasonable. They offer Both Inside and Outside Seating. The Drinks and Desserts were exceptional. Our Server, Pierson was Excellent! So if you find yourself in Port St Lucie/Tradition area and you are looking for a Great Italian Meal, give them a try, you won't be disappointed and say hello to Joana. *Also. Make sure to stop and see the World's Largest Heart ❤️*

It was our first time at Pastaio's, a party of 10 and I must say that we had a great time! The food, service and atmosphere were outstanding. Our waiter Sebastian was phenomenal, he really went out of his way to make our experience exceptional. He was very attentive and on top of his game. The cocktails and appetizers came out in a timely fashion and the main course followed flawlessly. I was impressed, it was a Saturday night and the place was packed. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends.

Google
I ordered a pizza with broccoli rabe, garlic and oil and it was amazing. The beer was ice cold and Cameron and Troy provided excellent service. Definitely coming back, just wish they offered Beyond vegan sausage to go with the broccoli rabe.

Google
I have been here before and was very impressed and satisfied. I came on a Tuesday and tipped $30 extra since the server did a great job but I was surprised to see a hair in my pasta and the pizza was all black on the bottom. Very disappointed but maybe I just got unlucky it was near closing time but still. The pasta was covered and I had the pizza to go just wished it wasn’t burnt.

Google
I went with my family on Saturday the waiter was awesome I wish I could remember his name he really took great care of us. He recommended the Blondie and crab cakes which both was delicious we also try the carnivore delicious. My cocktail was the sunseeker loved it. Can't wait to go back. Wish i had took pictures next time.

Google
First time eating here after many recommendations from friends. Beautiful restaurant and good service. I had the chicken Parmesan and it was okay. The fresh bread that came out as an appetizer was actually more flavorful. I’ll definitely try again and pick something else. Kids Pizza was pretty tasty.

Google
Visited Pastaio this evening for the first time and it was on point! My wife and I both got our own 12” pizza because we like different toppings and also like to have leftovers to take home. She got the carnivore and I had pepperoni sausage and fresh garlic. Both pies came with basil on them which was a great addition! The pizzas were fantastic. The toppings were plentiful and full of taste. The sauce and crust were perfect. Our friends loved their pizza also and they had a salad which looked great. The place was fairly busy but the service was great. We will be back!

Yelp
Pastaio has become my go-to spot, and for good reason. The pasta and pizza are all made by hand, and you can taste the difference; fresh, simple, and always delicious. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu (trust me, I've tried almost everything). The cocktails are just as solid. No matter what you order, they get it right every time. The atmosphere has this easy, welcoming vibe that reminds me of South Florida; laid-back but still full of energy. If you're looking for a place that's consistent, flavorful, and just plain enjoyable, Pastaio is it.

Yelp
We love Pastaio - especially for their Happy Hour and Early Bird dinners. Designed in a modern chic style, this restaurant is large but also intimate, as it's separated nicely between entryway, dining, and bar. The service is always okay, not really anything to write home about - either negatively or positively, but the food is consistently good, and the location is so convenient for us. We've been several times in the last few months for double dates with friends and every time the food and drinks were great. My go-to espresso martini is reliable and actually even better this last time than usual. The pour was perfect and the flavor matched. This week we tried the clams casino pizza and spicy rigatoni vodka dinner special that came with a kale Caesar and dessert of the night (crumb cake that day). The clams casino was even better than expected, although I asked for lightly baked and it was still pretty brown and crispy. The kale Caesar is one of my favorite salads from any restaurant EVER and I eat a lot of salad, haha! The spicy vodka rigatoni was good at the restaurant but even better as leftovers. And the crumb cake was thick and dense, which everyone in my house also loved. Last time we had the burrata appetizer and the carbonara pasta dinner special - again with the kale Caesar but that time the dessert was cheesecake. We loved the burrata, it was soft and flavorful, the carbonara was fresh and tasty, but the cheesecake lacked in my opinion (but admittedly I'm not a fan of cheesecake anyway). Either way, all around I highly recommend Pastaio, especially the kale Caesar!

Yelp
Went for a very late lunch, it was good. Husb had his usual clams & linguine white sauce says it's one of the best around. We both enjoyed their kale ceasar, so yummy. I had the chicken sorrentino which was good, sadly the eggplant slices were overly charred, mashed potatoes were cheesy and yummy. Service was great, ambiance nice.

Yelp
Just absolutely delicious! We have tried the Kung fu chicken pizza, pear salad, the fried mozzarella ball(can't think of name) and the Gnocci pasta (blonde) wow wow wow. Everything here is fresh and delicious! A bit pricey but definitely feels worth it!

Yelp
This was probably my favorite dinner out in Port St. Lucie since I've been here. I had hometown friends (a couple) visiting from back in New York and we wanted somewhere to enjoy our last evening together at. It was rainy so everyone had to pack inside which meant we needed to get on the waitlist, but we didn't mind since we walked around Tradition and had a great time grabbing drinks in the meanwhile. When we finally got called back the hostess was an absolute gem, sweet, and kind, talking to us through our shenanigans while we waited for a table to open up (we missed our initial slot since we were having a bit of fun and didn't walk back quick enough - none the less, they worked to get us a spot) Our waiter was also extremely friendly and chatting with us and helped advise on the best food selections. They did not disappoint. Everything that came out was a hit. The drinks were amazing, the food was delicious, and the vibes were at an all time high. From the bread to the app to the pasta to the entree to the dessert (I'm glad we had three people so we could share and try everything). Needless to say, there were no leftovers! Getting hungry just thinking about this meal. Definitely one of the finest local spots.

Yelp
Searched Yelp for a good Italian spot, and this one surfaced to the top. We are moving to the area and this turned out to be a fantastic Italian restaurant with a wonderful menu. There are dining options for both inside and outside. We sat outside and the weather was perfect and the service was excellent. Between the pasta and pizza, it was wonderful. We will be back soon and looking forward to exploring and tasting the entire menu. If you are looking for a great spot for lunch or dinner, stop by and give them a try. Enjoy!

Yelp
We've been there before and we loved it, so we decided to go back and try this time their pizza and handmade pasta. We were greeted properly by Jules, a beautiful young lady with a great smile, she was charming and super friendly. Our server Jenna was also amazing, polite, efficient and professional. Great job to both of them! We ordered pizza and a spaghetti Amatriciana served with pancetta instead of guanciale, but certainly better than bacon, both plates were tasty and delicious. The ambiance was casual and comfortable. The prices were very reasonable. It's our go to restaurant for delicious Italian cuisine and great service! Check it out Yelpers,

Yelp
Food is always good but beware of the prices for top shelf alcohol! $20 martinis are a little steep, imho.
google avatar

Yelp
This is always my go to place when I am in town. I absolutely love their pasta. I always get the pesto pasta with chicken. Also, their garlic bread is to die for I honestly can't stop eating. Our waiter. Tori was beyond attentive and took great care of us. Even the ambience you can tell there are many frequent flyers. Just genuine relationships with the employees and their customers.
google avatar

Noemarie D.

Yelp
This is our go to spot. We absolutely love this place. The homemade pasta, the ambiance. The servers and bar! The food is always 10/10. The drinks are always 100/100 lol

Yelp
I really like this place... Well, I really like the food. It's small and crowded, tables not really big enough for their (quite good) pizzas and drinks. Not really a bad thing, but a reason I don't think about going there to eat. My favorite dishes are the Cucumber Tomato salad, and the Pappardelle Bolognese. It's a tremendous amount of delicious food that goes great with a cabernet sauvignon. We tried the old location in the old Ruby Tuesday in Palm City, which was a great interior, spacious, upscale, but sadly the food wasn't as good as the Tradition location.

Yelp
Met friends for lunch at this Italian restaurant in Port St. Lucie. They are open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. They have an outdoor sidewalk patio in the front of the shopping center. The inside atmosphere is very modern with a large bar. The server brought delicious olive oil seasoned bread to the table. I had the entree Misto Salad $15.95 and it was so healthy and delicious with fresh greens, pears, walnuts and goat cheese with a balsamic vinaigrette.
google avatar

Cassandra C.

Yelp
I have only gotten it to go but it has been great every time. The pasta is always fresh. I've tried their appetizers, pasta and pizza and always enjoy them. The rigatoni is definitely a fave of mine. Service is never an issue.

Yelp
This place is popular in town and very busy. We like their pizza for takeout although it can be a little extra crispy for my taste so I like to get it lightly done. I was walking around town busy Friday night with my family and we decided to try to grab a cappuccino to go at the bar . That was a mistake. We ended up waiting in a long time to even get service and then when we did get them, they were bad, and expensive. Get the pizza, skip the cappuccinos. Don't try to go there on a busy night and grab something to go at the bar either especially if you are pushing kids in a stroller. Ambience is nice , cute outdoor seating as well.

Yelp
Food is generous and good! Pizza is delicious Don't hesitate comfortable and great service! Call ahead for reservations especially starting in November! Abbondanza !

Great restaurant and awesome service. The food was delicious, and everything we ordered came in a timely manner. Definitely recommend coming here.

Yelp
*Request for the RISOTTO to be brought onto the menu permanently or at least seasonally ! The mushroom risotto was exceptional. My family & I go into Pastaio every time we want to eat out, it's phenomenal one of the best Italian restaurants anywhere nearby. I would say it rivals some of the best in south Florida without a doubt. The kale Caesar salad is incredible, the pasta is fresh and so delicious the flavors are savory and so well developed. Their mussels are wonderful but every time we've gone in the last year we've asked if risotto is on the menu because the first fine we had it, it was seafood risotto. It was phenomenal, last week we stopped in and they had the risotto ! Their spaghetti Pomodoro is delicious, their parpadelle pasta is amazing as well as their shrimp on that dish. The service is always so friendly and wonderful. It's great being able to walk in without a reservation, it's such a gem I want it to stay this way but it's only a matter of time. Ambiance is neat, clean and adorable. Don't miss out !

Yelp
I used to love going here but my past visit was very disappointing . I went with 7 other people they brought out one dish of bread with about 5 pieces we asked for more and they said it would cost about $6. Honestly for 8 people 2 servings should have beef put out and to charge $6 extra is unheard of. The appetizers were brought out some of got it and others waited patiently for about another 10 min or more. When our food came out we waited about 20 min for someone to bring cheese. They brought us a cheese shaker that you would get at a pizzeria . My husband got up and got a cheese grater and how fast the waiter came and grabbed it out of his hand and said it was his job. We told him we waited for 20 min for someone to come. Also their portions have gotten smaller too. We used to love comming here , sorry will not be returning.

Yelp
If you're on the hunt for a fantastic gluten-free pizza, look no further! We started our meal with the meatballs, which were to die for and super filling. For the main course, I went with a 10-inch cauliflower pizza. They have the option to build your own or choose from their specialty selections. I decided on the Cassino, which featured chopped Jersey clams, bacon, onions, peppers, bread crumbs, and fresh mozzarella. It was incredible! My friend, who is blessed with zero gluten-free allergies, opted for the Fresh Burrata pizza. It included semi-soft mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula salad, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. She's been living in Port St. Lucie for a while and insists that this is the best pizza she's ever had in the area!
google avatar

Heidi D.

Yelp
An employee complained about my review therefore I have removed the apparently "offensive stereotypes" of the young people who work there. Par for the course with that generation. Avoid this place like the plague if you want good customer service and respectful treatment. What an awful place. We had been going for dinner 2-3x per month here and to bar for happy hour maybe 1x week. NEVER AGAIN. The other night we went with friends and waited for ONE HOUR AND 45 MINUTES (they don't take reservations for less than 4 they said). We saw a TWO parties of four who had arrived and been seated within minutes and went to find out what was going on. The two teenage hostesses claimed that those parties had been waiting "for a long time". We said no, we all clearly saw them walk in from the parking lot and be seated. Then the other one admitted that we had been "pushed to the bottom of the wait list". ???? What was going on my husband wanted to know- they said their manager told them to do that. My friend told them to just do the right thing and seat us and the two of them just stood there staring like deer in headlights. Other customers joined in and said that they too, had been waiting for almost two hours, and we were all starting to get mad. An aggressive angry young man in a backwards baseball cap shoved his way between our parties and confronted my husband bellowing that he was the manger and that "what, is he supposed to make people eat faster" and that if we didn't like the way he "does things that he would just keep us all at the bottom of the list and maybe he'd seat us at the end of the night". WTH??? We left. We live in that gated development up the street, the one that has a huge clubhouse and a private golf course and whatnot. We've been chatting with our neighbors and it seems that Pastiao is becoming very well known, not for the food, but for the the clearly untrained and immature staff and specifically this angry young manager and his arrogant and discriminatory manner. The rumor also going around our neighborhood is that this manager seats his friends right away, which sounds about right because we did notice that those parties that had been seated within minutes of arriving looked like they were in their 20s. We've also had conversations with neighbors about the rude and flippant hostesses, the horrible wait times, the food that has apparently made people ill lately, and the owner Joanna who seems not to give a crap. The owner and staff seem more intent on getting yelp reviews removed than adjusting the issues in the restaurant. It's sad really, all it takes is a change in management but hey, if they don't care about the reputation they're getting, fine by us. We won't even order a pizza for pickup because of how disgustingly we were all treated and because of all the other awful things we've heard about the staff and how rude and disrespectful they are to the community. There are so many other excellent eateries in the area, and Kyle G's is going to open a pasta place soon. We can't wait! Pastiao has a lot to learn and would do well to take note of how a real restaurant treats customers.
google avatar

Parker T.

Yelp
We had a terrible experience here. We were told 1 hour wait, ended up getting our table after about 2. Took more than 20 minutes to even get our water filled up. Especially frustrating because we were assured that it would be fine & could've made plans elsewhere. Understandable is not taking reservations. Unacceptable is how it was handled after the fact. We were ignored. If the place is busy at all, you should probably go literally anywhere else. They are not good on their word for wait times and even when you're seated you'll be largely ignored.
google avatar

Yelp
The food is great. The staff is nice the best pizza I've ever had. The ambiance is amazing

Sandy C.

Yelp
We went to the one in Palm City Florida and it was amazing. The food is excellent as well as the staff. The manager makes a point to stop by and introduce himself. I would highly recommend the visit to Palm City!
google avatar

Carlee M.

Yelp
We had a ladies night out, and this was the local spot picked. No reservation but we were sat immediately. Their drink menu was short, and I felt it was a bit lacking. I tried one cocktail and didn't love it (Aperol this time) but my friend got the sunseeker and loved it. We got the Burrata board. I thought it was good, but nothing special. The olives are jarred Kalamata, and I felt the selection of items was not exciting. The complimentary bread was amazing! We did try the pasta and thought it was good. Service was great. Server was attentive and food was quick. I think a manager or owner stopped by too at one time. That was great. I do think the prices were steep, and we were charged differently for a drink then it was advertised on the menu. All and all I think it was a nice spot but I don't think I would return
google avatar

Albi A.

Yelp
Oh my God. Deelish! Food is so good. Try the Kale Ceasar or the Pasta Carbonara - never disappointed at Pastaio!

Yelp
My wife and I visit at least once a week. It is wonderful and the staff is the best. My grandson loves the garlic bread!

Yelp
My wife and I come down with our daughter to Port St. Lucie every year now to visit a family friend. She suggested we visit Pastaio and we had a nice visit this past Friday night. Service was solid although I will mention that the hostesses were neither friendly nor hostile. A hint of a smile goes a long way, but it could have just been the fact that they were busy. Our seats inside were provided quickly, which was very much appreciated since our kid was starving. The table bread was absolutely delicious! I probably could have eaten just that and been decently happy. My wife and I ordered a couple of pizzas and one of our friends ordered the eggplant dish. It was large and looked delicious. The pepperoni was tasty. I don't know if they make it in-house, but I would not be surprised. The ambiance was really great and our family friend ordered her usual cocktail. She seemed very happy with it. The bar area looks like a fun spot to hang on a Friday night. Overall it was a nice experience. Oh also there is tons of parking out front.
google avatar

Lesley F.

Yelp
Food: 5 star Service: 5 Ambience: 5 We really enjoyed our dinner! Met friends. I started with an aperol spritz which was great. We ended up sharing a bottle of wine. I had the beet salad and the mussels in a white sauce. The beet salad was mixed greens, big pieces of reed beets which were amazing, walnuts and goat cheese.. mmm the dressing was so good. This salad alone would have been sufficient for dinner. The mussels though I had to taste. The flavor was excellent, albeit they were on the smaller side. None came closed up which is a big +. My husband said his lasagne was the best he's ever had. They make all of their pasta in house. They have all the good pasta dishes to offer, bolognese, papperdelle and so much more. We will have to go back soon. It is not a big restaurant and they do not take reservations for less than 8.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
The food at Pastaio was delicious, because we did not have a reservation, the most immediate accommodation available was outside, which we were fine with. The drinks were refreshing, the portion sizes were generous. My pesto was rich without being too heavy, and my husband mentioned it was the best Italian food we had during our stay is PSL. My biggest issue was the constant intrusion on gnats and flies. It became overwhelming trying to fend them off and still enjoy our meal. It also took a very long time to receive the bill once we were don't eating, we got out to go containers, and still waited about 20 minutes, then decided to leave my husband at the table and go next door to get ice cream for the kids, and came back, before we received the bill. I'd try them again, with a reservation to sit indoors.
google avatar

Hmmmmm O.

Yelp
Told us a 45 min wait. So we went down the block for a drink and appetizer. 10 mins later they say we were up. We called and they said oh now you are at the bottom of the list. F. Then we called and said ok just come back. 3 times we had to open the door for a server (who is the customer? ) and the bathroom toilet was overflowing. Told them. Then the same server who we had to accommodate gave us the stink eye when we ordered so we got up and left.i was not going to Eat at a place with overflowing toilets and bitchy entitled male servers Forget that place.

Art B.

Yelp
Food is Terrific . Service stellar. Ambiance is pleasant. Going back again tonight. Friends from Pennsylvania said this beats one of their favorite restaurants back home.

Yelp
The best brick oven pizza around. Great wine selection Good service Can get noisy but still a great place
google avatar

Cheryl T.

Yelp
This restaurant is a true gem in PSL! We have only lived here about 3 months and it has quickly become our favorite restaurant! Their food is outstanding and the pasta is all handmade. They also have some amazing brick oven pizza with fresh ingredients. We prefer to sit at the bar for dinner as we have found the most delightful people to converse with. We went NYE and had a wonderful time. Met this couple that were close friends of the owner (Joanna, not sure of spelling). She said they were like her second parents, I asked if I could be her third. lol She has been open for 5 years and is doing all things right, in my opinion! Getting seated can take some time as they are always busy, so be patient.

Susan S.

Yelp
Best fresh pasta in PSL! Consistently on point with food and service! A regular stop for us.

Jeff V.

Yelp
Good Pizza and Pasta. Love the outside tables and bar area. Everything that I've had is good.

Deanna M.

Yelp
This used to be my favorite place. Came today and was ignored for 15 mins at the bar. Owner made an awesome espresso martini... but then overpoured, and gave me extra. But when the bill came, she charged us? Had I known she was going to charge us $3.00 for less than a shot of the drink I already had in my hand, she could have poured it out. Carbonara is good! The decor has recently been changed and it's dark and dingy. A lot of clutter.
google avatar

Skip P.

Yelp
Love this place. Food is delicious. Nice atmosphere. We usually eat at the bar. Service is great..
google avatar

Claudia O.

Yelp
Love love love this restaurant! We've been here many times and have never been disappointed with the food or service! One time I just wanted a plain pasta dish. Wasn't in the mood for sauces. The waiter made a suggestion and came back with the most delicious, fragrant olive oil, garlic and Parmesan cheese spaghetti! I had to fight my hubby not to eat it all. Cocktails are always on point and food is delicious. Definitely making this my hometown restaurant! Nice outdoor seating too.
google avatar

Kevin M.

Yelp
Stopped here on our first night in Port St. Lucie after reviewing Yelp and all the recommendations. Must say this was a gem of a find! The food was absolutely delicious and the service top-notch! The only thing we would've liked would be to add capers to the carpaccio. The bread service is out of this world! The pasta is fresh and delicious, you can't go wrong here!
google avatar

Taylor A.

Yelp
We've lived here since January and haven't had a chance to make it in and boy were we missing out !! This will now be our regular spot. I had the chicken parm but upgraded to the spicy vodka sauce and it was magical. My husband and I always get chicken piccata everywhere we go so he got that and it was incredible!!! Derek was a great server and so fun to be around !!
google avatar

Marilyn W.

Yelp
Poor customer service. Only takes reserve for 6 or more and everyone else stands around while they take tables out of service. After waiting 1 hour they said at least 30 more minutes while 6 tables sat empty waiting for reservations
google avatar

Hunter B.

Yelp
Food and service is always spot on at this restaurant. The environment is calm and relaxing most of the time. On the weekend it does get very busy. Here is the food we this time around. MEATBALLS-Tomato sauce, dollop of ricotta, fresh herbs, parmigiano KALE CAESAR SALAD-Chopped kale, creamy homemade dressing, snaved asiago, pine nuts, croutons MOZZARELLA BURRATA-Semi-soft fresh mozzorelli , heirloom cherry tomatoes, basil, evoo, balsamic THE CARNIVORE-Pepperoni, sausage, meatball, bacon

Yelp
This is truly a gem in Tradition! We stopped in last night for dinner with friends who are considering moving to the area. They don't take reservations for parties less than 8 which is truthfully the only reason they don't have 5 . This is very much the type of caliber I expect to see on open table. Our server was wonderful. We had a couple of mixups in the kitchen but the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Susan M.

Yelp
I have always liked Pastaio in Tradition and had looked forward to a great evening with great friends last night. The service was impeccable, my friends ordered pasta, but I always ordered the eggplant stack. A very big mistake last night ! I received 3 pieces of eggplant with sauce and cheese. Then the fight began. The eggplant was like shingles , so hard and actually burned on the edges the my knife would not cut it. I splashed sauce on my shirt and pants trying to cut and eat it. I had learned never to complain at restaurants for fear of what would happen to the food back in the kitchen. I eat 1 meal a day , so I choked it down with water. I will not return to pastaio, ever again. The chef in the back had to have known, because they had to have cut this themselves to put it on the plate. Sorry Pastaio, you lost a long time supporter. Never Again.

Yelp
I was going to do a review in the spirit of Tevye's (RIP Topol), "If I Were a Rich Man", but then I decided that doing a song concerning Jewish values and priorities and an Italian restaurant in southern Florida simply will not work, except for the prices, which are rich, and the food, which is rich as well. However, if I were rich, I would eat here almost day. Eating the amazing pasta dishes, the perfectly (and yes, free) bread. Soaking in the atmosphere while talking to the customers and asking if they want another fine wine, all the while a wood-oven pizza is baking in the oven. It is a fun atmosphere where even the children are behaved here. Everybody seems to not have a care in the world. As my grandmother once put it, "How does anybody get anything done in such weather?" Pretty hard to believe this Italian restaurant stacks up well with some of the ones in New York City. Just eat it slow so you savor every morsel of food, and then go next door to Kilwins for some ice cream to make it a true happy ending. Of course I would make that all possible every day... if I were a wealthy man.

Absolutely delicious food. And great atmosphere. A little expensive but well worth it
