The 26 Best Restaurants In São Paulo - São Paulo - The Infatuation

"This unassuming spot next to Allianz Park, home to Brazil’s most successful football club of recent years, Palmeiras, is an institution. With a long marble bar and a few tables, it’s a familiar set-up in South America. Some of the waiters, in their sharp white outfits, look like they’ve been here since it opened in 1975. Perch at the bar, order a pastel (a deep-fried pastry filled with meat or cheese), and stay as long as you like. The pastries here are flaky, generously filled, and just the right size to make you order another—we love the pizza flavour with cheese, tomato, and oregano. Other snacks, from kibe to coxinhas to esfihas are available, but it’s the pastel that gives Pastelaria Brasileira its reputation." - tome morrissy swan

One of the best experiences I had in São Paulo. Extremely reasonable prices, very good quality food, and exceptional service. I actually really, really enjoyed coming here to eat and can only commend the people here as it was incredible. Will return!

Ate pastel for the first time and I had to have it every day. I also loved the taste of Caldo de cana with a bit of lemon juice. If I come back to São Paulo, Pastelaria Brasileira is my first stop

Google
An authentic pastry shop with great traditional Brazilian delicacies. Don't miss the chance of ordering pastel with sugar cane juice. It's a must go when you are around. Expect to have non healthy food, but are definitely worth it.

I really loved the pastéis in there. I have eaten pastéis in many places in Brazil, and these ones were amazing! Really recommend. The only sad thing is that they didn't serve any coffee.

Google
Traditional pastelaria in Sao Paulo. The beef and egg pastel is huge and they can add extra ingredients like cheese if you want.

Carlos Eduardo Magalhães

Google
The best place to eat tasty, fresh and fast food. They use the same recipe since I had fifteen years old. Just love this place, you can eat a esfiha with caldo de cana and feel happy the whole day.

Benjamin Roake

Google
Greatest traditional Brazilian diner around. As a foreigner, I can’t stop thinking of the place.

Great pastries. Fast service. Smell of greese too strong.
