"A bright and fun spot in Wimbledon Village, Patara Thai is a go-to for a casual first date or when you need somewhere that’ll keep your whole family happy. But one of the main reasons we like it is the outdoor terrace. It’s a hidden garden where you can enjoy a top-tier Thai green curry that’ll have you dousing your tongue with water before going in for another bite. The casual indoor space is nice to sit in too if the weather’s being British, especially if you’ve got a bowl of hearty lamb massaman in front of you. This restaurant is in a quiet and beautiful location. When you go there in the evening, you immediately love the atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and all the dishes I ordered tasted delicious. The restaurant offers high-quality Thai cuisine. I liked it very much.

Amazing experience. The selection of food is vast. We must have had shared a dozen different food choices. From curry , wagyu, calamari etc. Amazing flavours, very satisfying and memorable. The restaurant has a nice tranquil “namaste” vibe. Very well decorated. Ala in all a great place for lunch or dinner

I tried many dishes Massaman chicken, chicken coconut soup, turmeric rock shrimp tempura, fish cake, grilled beef, mini taco, etc . Each dish was beautifully plated and portioned just right for fine dining. The staff were warm and professional, greeting us with smiles and guiding us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations. Although the prices are on the higher side, I felt that the quality, presentation, and service made it well worth the experience.

Staff is nice and the decor is very decent. I liked the curry but every Thai restaurants I have been to has been excellent at this dish The seafood platter was a let down for the price - the prawn didn’t taste fresh was barely acceptable and the scallops just don’t match well with my palate at all and tasted like it’s taken off a supermarket shelf

My girlfriend and I had dinner here for Valentine's Day and it's so rad! The place is well-designed and feels really upscale. The food was tasty and priced really good. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the manager! We'll definitely come back!

A high-end Thai restaurant where the spice level is adjusted for those who typically avoid spicy Thai cuisine. I noticed many Japanese customers during my visit. I ordered the massaman curry and tom yum kung. The lamb in the curry was very tender, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The tom yum kung struck a perfect balance between spiciness and sourness. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back.
