I’ve been ordering food from this place for YEARS and recently visited IRL and couldn’t been happier! Drinks and food are amazing! Our server was super kind and made us feel super welcomed! The soup and noodles were amazing as always! The serving was great as well and had great left overs. The sticky rice was fresh and the brown rice flavorful. The margaritas are perfect. They do karaoke at times and it’s such a great time! Highly recommend alone or with large groups!

Today in Los Angeles, I tried Pad Thai Sukhothai a lighter, tangier take on the classic. The tamarind sauce was perfectly balanced, the noodles chewy yet tender, and the mix of bean sprouts, chives, peanuts, and dried shrimp added freshness and rich flavor.

Best Thai spicy dishes! I went here with my associates and ordered various menu mostly spicy dishes. Super delicious, not dry or bland at all! Food portion was great❤️ Highly recommended!

Went there for lunch and thought I would try one of the lunch specials. Thai noodles with beef. Noodles were hot, but greasy, beef was just thrown in and was cold. For such a simple dish, it came out terribly. After letting the waitress know about the beep being cold, she said nothing. It was my first time there and it would make me not want to try it again. Mainly because there was no I’m sorry. Can we heat it up for you? Can we do something to make you happy. Nothing was sad. I would not recommend a place.

I had their yellow curry with chicken and white rice - it was peak. The mango sticky rice was all delicious!!

Just ordered 3 pad Thai with shrimp. Food looks decent. But how do you not give out utensils? Do you expect us to eat with our hands? I never been to a restaurant that has take outs but not give utensils. Terrible service from this restaurant.

I've been to several of the Thai restaurants in Thai Town and East Hollywood. I go to this one frequently because they offer an excellent Coconut Noodle Soup. Most Thai restaurants don’t serve coconut noodle soup at all. It's very good. People also like this restaurant for the Karaoke. I prefer to eat here during the day before the Karaoke begins because it's quieter, but the Karaoke looks like fun too. Parking is also easy compared to most of the other Thai restaurants in the area.

I am addicted to this restaurant! I It's the best Thai food I have ever tasted. Very unique and rich in flavor. I love that there is a choice of the hotness of each plate. The mild is still very flavorful. Each level of spiciness is exactly what it says. The portions are good sizes. The soups are enough for two. The spareribs soup was awesome! The only dish I was impressed with was the duck. There didn't seem to be a lot of meat in it. Every other dish, and I can't stop trying new ones, are awesome!

Really great atmosphere, live music, good lighting, and a chill vibe that makes the place feel special, especially at night. It seems like a great spot to grab drinks and enjoy the energy. As for the food, I ordered the fried rice, chow mein, orange chicken, and Thai tea: The Thai tea was amazing. Perfectly sweet and refreshing. The fried rice and chow mein were both solid, with the rice being my favorite, and the orange chicken had a real orange flavor, which was a new experience for me. It was good, just different and more citrusy than most places. Overall, I've had better Thai food, but the vibe makes it worth visiting, especially if you're here for the drinks and ambiance.

My favorite dish today is the Papaya Salad medium spicy at Pattaya Bay. The texture of the papaya slice combined with sauce, dry shrimp and peanut are awesome. I have it with the sticky rice. The grilled pork comes with the house special sauce on the side. Yummy! The pork spare ribs soup has sliced mushroom and tomatoes served in the hot pot. Three crispy salad is crisp to perfection. Pattaya Bay restaurant has a good vibe, feels relaxing every time I come to the restaurant. Great service! Thank you!

Me and my friend were craving Thai food and most places were closed at 1am but we came across this restaurant ! We didn't know we're walking into a karaoke night on a Wednesday night haha but lovedd the food and service ! And had tons of fun !We will definitely be back

My friend and I were looking for a lunch spot on a Sunday afternoon. I came across this place and thought it might be worth the try.We got a patient and helpful server that even asked the cooks, on our behalf, if they could make a vegetarian friendly appetizer for us. They did! The restaurant was quiet & not busy at the time we were dining in but we noticed many "to-go" orders. Overall, nice location, friendly staff, and good Thai food.

Was not familiar with this place until we had a meeting with our Thai Friends and place has a good vibe, price is decent and food is good

My boyfriend, his sister, and I were looking for a delicious Thai spot to eat a late night dinner after a long day of work for me and moving for them. It was an hour before they closed but the staff welcomed us with open arms! They were so hospitable & kept the good vibes going singing karaoke even though we were the only ones there. The food, service, and ambiance were beyond expectations! Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!!

I've tried many things here .. some have been flops and the others have been staples ... I suggest for appetizer getting the money bags .. for entrees I stick with the yellow chicken curry .. so good and flavorful .. my friend gets the seafood soup and loves it from here .. service is always impeccable and the ambiance is great , it's usually pretty chill.. they have karaoke nights and sometimes it can get packed so if you like a more chill ambiance skip those nights

The atmosphere is great. The food can be better. The pad se ew smelled like dog breath. It tastes fine but also the noodles were short and overcooked and same color as the beef so it looks like a dark sweet mush. No fountain drinks and the entertainment is appreciated but it doesn't need to be so so loud. Not having a fountain drink though is very lazy. You as a restaurant should provide a different experience. We can buy cans and bottle for less and sit at home without overcooked noodles. Service was good.

I love coming here! Excellent spring rolls and other dishes. Karaoke is fun! Bring your dollar bills. Cash only for it.

Mild here is not mild. It's more medium. They have a Thai spicy warning sign that states that there is no refund or exchange if the food is spicy. Ease it off with the spices. Putting the sign here seems disrespectful on not pleasuring the customer.

The service is friendly and fast here and the pad see ew is some of the best in the area. The bonus is that they also do karaoke most nights which makes for a fun dinner. The place is clean and spacious with no frills. Sometimes they have the TVs on playing some odd things (no sound) so I might recommend not facing them if you don't want to be surprised by some occasional off-putting scenes.

I had a wonderful evening tasting the exquisite water of Pattaya Bay Thai with lovely company. The water comes in a tall glass. It is cool and delivered to the table.

I didn't know much about this place when I went in, but I throughly enjoyed it. The service was very quick and everything came out hot! I got the Hainan chicken which was delicious!!

Came here for lunch and unfortunately there were no parking spots in the tiny lot so we had to park further away and walk in. When we entered, there was no one there so, after waiting a while, we rang a bell and a server came out and sat us. We got the spicy seafood salad and the Pad Thai Sukhothai. The salad wasn't very spicy at all at mild heat so if you like spice, try medium. The seafood, while they give a large portion and it is cooked perfectly, was unfortunately a bit bland and didn't seem to have very much seasoning, if any at all. The pad Thai sukhothai was delicious, though! Full of flavor and a variety of textures. We also got a Thai iced tea which was pretty standard. Overall, the dine-in experience wasn't the best so I'd recommend ordering takeout from here because the food is still really good and worth trying!

This place is like church service for me. I feel redeemed after my visit. It's just the best kind of karaoke bar. Owner loves his job, sings at least one song a night. Some of the customers are straight up world class musicians who just annihilate their song. This dude got up and re-invented the 4 Non Blondes song "What's Up", with a harmonica and deeper male vocals.

Went here for dinner before seeing a show at the Impro Theater. We had chicken pad thai and yellow curry with chicken and it was delicious. We took some home and enjoyed all the great flavors the next day. Recommend!

First time ordering here and it was delicious. It was just a wonton soup but the flavor was soooo good. Better in flavor than where I get wonton soup by my house I ordered pick up but my food was ready by the time I got there. They work quick. They also have karaoke inside. Looks like a fun place to eat at.

The food Is good. The service was good. The time wait was about 15 min. We were two tables total of four people as customers at that moment. But heads up!! The tab was correct but I did not notice they automatic charge of 15% tip. I gave me credit card to pay. The waitress brings my receipt for me to sign .. (The original tab was left in the counter). Then I was going to tip again when I ask for my original tab to check again. Normally you see the total at the end and leave a tip. (But here, you might tip twice if you don't pay attention.) The percentage is up to you Just heads up in you next visit because they are already charging you a 15%

I LOVE this spot! It is some of the best, cleanest, yummiest Thai food I've ever had. I have some major allergies - I can't have soy sauce or peanuts, so that really limits me in things I can eat. This place was able to make me all the dishes I want without those things, and it turned out amazing! Their food is not oily and it's super fresh. My faves are: basil leaf chicken, cashew chicken, black pepper chicken, chicken pad Thai, chicken drunken noodles, chicken fried rice, and their vegetable egg rolls. Super consistent each time! And perfect amount of spice in each dish!

The food was delicious, and some karaoke for entertainment. I would recommend this place if you want some good food and like to sing.

Pattaya Bay has amazing Pad Thai. When i crave a good Pad Thai, i always think of Pattaya Bay.

I've lived on Kingswell and Vermont for 17 years. I used to frequent Pattaya Bay Thai weekly. Every Monday I'd get Fried Fish Filet in Curry and Pad See Ew and Fried Rice. So I USED to love this place. Also. I rarely believe my opinion is necessary to broadcast to the world, so to write a review especially a negative one takes a lot. Tonight we Ordered the Tom Ka w Beef. The Beef Massaman and Spring Rolls. Everything was Garbage. $50 worth of garbage. Both Spring Rolls fell apart and were just pitiful. The quality of the beef in both dishes wasn't fit for street dogs. Boiled, grainy, inedible. The Curry was watery and flavorless. The 4 pieces of Potato weren't cooked through. Barely any Carrots. The Tom Ka was a shame of the same quality. Do not spend your hard earned $ here. Go to Sanam Luang or any of the many other delicious options in the neighborhood. I was embarrassed to have recommended this place tonight. We had to go order Sushi from Starfish which never disappoints.

This was terrible. The crab Rangoon was undercooked at the bottoms and the tips were overcooked. The orange chicken had way too much breading and not enough chicken. There was almost no orange sauce and the rice was mostly big stale chucks that wouldn't break up.

Pad see ew is AMAZING! love this late night thai spot. Have gotten food here a couple times when super hungry driving home late at night, and it hits the spot everytime. thanks guys!!!

My friend and I wanted to check out some late-night restaurants, and we found this place nearby where people could enjoy karaoke too. The music was so loud since we got there that I personally got a serious problem with hearing, and I was not expecting the place to be so loud just because of the karaoke, even though we were sitting against the wall on the opposite side. Also, some guys were yelling on the stage without control from the staff. Once the server started taking our order, my friend and I barely heard what she said, and we had to say it repeatedly more than three times to tell her what we wanted. I started telling her to turn down the mic a bit or whatever she could, and then she said sorry and talked to the lady, who I thought was the DJ. Then she said she ok I will with her attitude, which was not professional at all. On top of that, she walked around with her glass of wine and seemed not to get the problem fixed at all, so at this point we were not sure that the staff in the restaurant could have some drinks while working at her shift legally, as I know it is illegal and not allowed!!! I thought she could have done her job better than just asking for a dollar bill for tipping. At the same time, the same server and another one came to check on us about the noise and everything else, which we appreciated. The food was just okay and nothing wow. My point of view, the restaurant should have a decibel control which is not over than 85 Db otherwise you will lose typical customers who just want to try delicious Thai food, regardless, you are the restaurant not a nightclub.

I tried this place on a spontaneous whim. I was on my way to Sidewalk grill but thought why not try this Thai place. REGRET is the only thing. I was super disappointed. Not only that just this orange chicken and drunken noodles with a Thai tea was $54. Everything was gross except the drunken noodles which was my husbands plate. I'd skip this place. I love Thai but this is a HARD PASS.

Very bad Pad Thai, bland. I ordered here because everything was closed and they were way out on Vermont in Los Angeles and I am in Pasadena - safe to say I will never order again.

Really delicious food and opens late till like 2 AM. They have a really awesome karaoke set up. My favorite was the glass noodles and my friends ordered a lot of other things like spring rolls and vegetables and curry . The red curry was way too hot even though we asked for mild in the spicy. The Tom kha soup was really really delicious. The crying tiger quality of meat was OK, I'm used to eating ribeye Crying tiger from soo Rha thai . Other than that is my favorite place in Thai town to karaoke, and I had an epic time ! , and there was plenty of seating I love to see that they renovated !

The food is good especially the pad Thai and the Chinese broccoli with crispy pork however portions are too small. Service is good and everyone is super nice, we love having the karaoke here we had so much fun

I'm so freaking piss right now! Order pad Thai, deep fried soft shell crabs and they didn't give me the plum sauces they only gave me sriracha sauce call to complain all they can said is "you can come back and pick up the plum sauce" WT is this service!?!?

I write this as I sit here getting a headache from the loud karaoke waiting for the food I ordered almost two hours ago for pick up. I ordered a sticky rice and two drinks for scheduled pick up an hour in advance. I even arrived 10 minutes late so my order should have been more than ready. I had it planned out so well I had 1000% confidence in ordering my lyft to my girlfriends house with this as a quick pit stop. I waited 5 minutes upon arrival for my lyft to tell me it was time to come back or call my next ride later. when I asked the waitress how long until my order she told me 10-15 minutes. over 30 minutes later I've now seen 6 to go orders get picked up and packed. The waitress has been ignoring me only to show me orders that aren't mine asking if they're for me and then walking off when I say I no. This is beyond unacceptable. Do not order this restaurant for pick up they do not care about you or your time.

Ya girl has tried a couple of pad see ew's in the area. Some of them are pretty dry or too much oil or fatty. Hm. But gurl. This one is IT. The search is over. Also. They got their own parking lot shared with the plaza. No street parking? Please! Love it. I'll be back.

Bland and overpriced. The Crab Rangoon which is $8.95 was small fried pieces with NOTHING but cream cheese in the middle and burnt on the ends. They were so bad that I could have made better ones at home from frozen and cooked in the air fryer. They were immensely disappointing and had absolutely no imitation crab filling. The Wonton Soup, $15.95 was equally disappointing. I couldn't even eat more than a few bits. It was literally just hot water with small reheated from frozen wontons. No flavor at all on anything. This entire meal was a waste of money.

I am just a sucker for thai in general but one of my favorite things about this restaurant aside from the staff and the option for weekend karaoke is the thai green tea they have. it's crack and i 100000/10 recommend it. be mindful it will give you a bit of energy but it's sooooo tasty! I tried to make friendly with the waitress to find out the recipes or where I can buy it and she said she doesn't know. it's a secret i'm here for tho. food is felicitous, parking can sometimes be tight but there's neighborhood parking across the main road just be careful crossing that street.

This place serves up good clean Thai flavors in a nice environment. They are open for dine in again with limited capacity. I had the Thai Basil Chicken and it was perfect. Great flavor, quickly prepared, friendly service, good prices. Not sure why this place has such a low rating, but definitely give it a try.

My neighborhood go to for take out, a casual dinner, and even late night drunken karaoke! This place has it all! I've taken my picky 12 year old nephew here- he loved it! Multiple vegetarian/pescatarians have been impressed with the options and menu! And of course- when I need to order 3 meals worth of food to celebrate surviving a tough week- this place is always in the rotation! Tiny parking lot, amazing service with friendly and helpful staff, and truly DO NOT SLEEP on the late night karaoke crowd. It's a neighborhood staple for a reason, and I will definitely be making a lot of excuses to go back as often as possible.

This is, without question, the worse "Thai" food that I have EVER attempted to eat! I seldom write reviews of any type, but in this case I consider it a mandatory public service announcement. What they attempt to pass off for food at this establishment is simply garbage! The Pad Thai had the colour of Kraft Dinner, and absolutely no taste. And the "Green Curry" was watery and populated with over-cooked chicken. Unless you have had your taste buds surgically removed, I would STRONGLY avoid ordering from this slop-shop! It is a complete waste of money! Utter garbage, which is were this crap is being relocated. Pattaya Bay Thai should be ashamed of itself!!

I order from here weekly and get the shrimp salad (the sauce is so good), chicken fried rice and crab rangoon. I've ordered from a lot of places in LA and I keep coming back to this one. Always on point.

One of my favorite dish here is Pad Thai Sukhothai however, they also have many variety authentic Thai food to try. Food : taste good, do recommend spicy fish soup and Pad-Thai Sukhothai is going good together. Service : really nice and friendly. Atmosphere : big nice and cozy restaurant.

Pattaya, in our recent experiences, serves good Thai food that IS NOT greasy yet flavorful. We continue to order for delivery or pick-up because their food is consistently good. Ordering by phone through a pleasant staff or online is easy. We shared the papaya salad (medium spicy) and the lunch combination with grilled marinated pork. The pork had very little fat and was on a bed of shredded cabbage and carrots and came with a good chili sauce. We didn't care too much for the egg roll that was soggy and pale. The fried rice wasn't greasy either and is the standard fried rice. Finally, we ordered the pad see ew with chicken (sorry, forgot the photo). Nice chunks of chicken and vegetable, not just noodles. Bottom line: tasty, non-greasy Thai food, friendly service (from the staff and delivery man) Con: parking can be challenging in the tucked away mini-mall-ish spot they're in. It's been easier because of the pandemic but it also depends on what time of day you go to pick up.

Ordered this for delivery - green curry, pad see ew, mango sticky rice. And it was so good!! Will definitely order green curry from here again.

My favorite spot for Karaoke night and Thai food at the same time. This place bring me back to my country. The food honestly is regular standard Thai taste but the atmosphere is totally change the mind from the food quality. I mean the food is not bad do not misunderstand but i am Thai so my standard is for authentic Thai only. If you want to feel like home, Thailand, so this is the right place. And i dont have any reasons to reduce the star.

Pattaya Bay Thai has good food and fun karaoke. THE AMBIANCE: Small restaurant. Cozy. They have a stage for karaoke. Bathrooms are to the left and back. THE FOOD: Everything I have tried has been good. My favorite is the Pad See Ew. I like it because the noodles are thick and the dish is flavorful. THE KARAOKE: A lot of fun. The environment is laid back and the crowd is supportive. We normally arrive later in the night around 11pm and there's people on stage already. The woman that runs the karaoke is pleasant.

Experiencing a lot of great Thai food in the area, I decided to try my luck here. The restaurant is located in tower plaza next to sidewalk grill. Great modern space with ample seating provided. There's small stage in corner for live entertainment and musicians to perform. Service is fast and friendly. I started off with some delicious Thai Tea, compliments of yelp's check-in offer. Ordered red curry beef and Hanan chicken. The curry was terrific. Usually, coconut base curry can be too rich, Pattaya's was perfect and packed with flavor. Good amounts of meat and vegetables provided. Only drawback was their Hanan chicken was underwhelming. The chicken was slightly overcooked, dry and tasteless. Rice could have been better too, lacked in depth and aromatics. No traditional ginger-garlic relish, soy sauce or sweet chili sauce were offered, but instead it came with spicy sauce which I thought was okay. Thankfully, I had enough curry sauce to douse over it and keep my taste buds interested. Over all it wasn't half bad, I did leave full. I suggest you stick with classic Thai dishes and pass on hanan chicken.

We always get food to go here and they never disappoint! Shrimp cake, pad see ew, Tom yum and curry are all delicious. They have good sized servings too. Food is always on time.

People Hungry at rate night, this place can make you full. They closes at 2 .a.m. The food is Good, Special in "Pad Thai Sukothai" and "Spicy Sour Sea food Soup" or call Po-Teak Tom Yum. It has Karaoke at night from 9 p.m. - 2 a.m. on Friday - Monday

I thought it was VERY entertaining!! They had karaoke and as the night went on it got busier and busier and it was only a Tuesday night! Seat yourself and when you check in you get a delicious Thai Tea! I would highly recommend this place for a date night! Or a night with good friends!! I had Pad Thai Sukhothai and it was delicious!!
