"Down in Fall River, Patti’s is a great option for those south of the city looking to get their pierogi fix. The menu is huge — traditional pierogi are joined by “Buff chix max and cheese-ogi,” “steak teriy-ogi,” “pizza-ogi,” and lots more, not to mention mini bacon-wrapped pierogi. Make sure to order one of the many dessert pierogi — a rare (and very underrated) offering in the States." - Hanna Pisera

Wonderful!! We went for lunch when they first opened for the day. So the service was awesome. We met Patti. Everything was so fresh and had such great flavor. There are a ton of options on the pierogis. From traditional, specials and dessert ones. I love the traditional ones along with the cabbage roll. My husband loved the soup, kapusta. We both got more food to take home. Also had bread and butter, the bread was rye and pumpernickel. A nice change from white rolls. Highly recommend stopping here! We loved all the history on the walls, plus this was on Diner, Drive in, and Dives!

Google
A hidden gem- delicious perogis and authentic polish food. The food is so fresh! Service is fantastic and the restaurant is really clean. We had a fantastic lunch and look forward to visiting again.

The pierogi's were very good, and I had a kielbasa, as well, and it was great. My wife had a peanut butter cup, for dessert, and I had a fluffernuter for dessert. I have never had a pierogi for dessert. They were very good, as was everything else we had. I will be back.

Google
Amazing food! We met our siblings there and we all spoke of our memories of growing up eating Pierogis. These were amazing!! Everything was fresh made and delicious. Will definitely be back again and again!!

Google
OUTSTANDING FOOOOOD!!! First, I heard about Pats was from Dinners, Drive-Inns, and Dives. As it was from my original hometown area, I had to check it out, and WOW, I was blown away! They have an amazing variety of Progies. The basic version, of course, but also a variety of different fillings that will keep you wanting to come back and try them all. They are not just a one trick restaurant. They have a variety of traditional Polish dishes. The few I have tried were delicious. If you find yourself in Fall River and looking for a great meal at a really great price, you need to stop by Pats!!

Stopped in here to try some pierogis. They are very good and there is a great selection. The bada bing Italian pierogi was my favorite of the ones i tried. I would like to try some of the dessert flavors on my next visit. Service is very friendly and helpful. Nice location and unique atmosphere. Also tried the Polish beer and it was good. To me it tasted like a light beer but with more flavor.

I ordered take-out for the first time a few weeks ago and have been thinking about pierogis ever since. I work nearby and have always heard of the famous pierogis, so I figured I'd finally try them. I tried calling several times, but I never got through, so I decided to drive there to order. I was relieved there was a small parking lot out front. The entrance has stairs or a nice ramp. Inside is a bit dark but cozy. There's a long bar. I was greeted, and my order was taken right away. I got 6 "loaded-ogis" since I love loaded baked potatoes (surprised?). I have only ever had frozen pierogis. My order was ready fairly quickly, and I was omw. When I sat down to eat and opened the box, I was blown away. These were the best-looking pierogis I'd ever seen and way more appetizing than any I'd ever made. Perfectly fried on both sides. Way bigger than I expected. The filling was perfect and flavorful. They were very satisfying and I'm looking forward to trying all the varieties.

Google
We started out with the Cabbage Andouille Sausage Soup bowl and it was hot, tasty and had plenty of meat. In fact, it’s a meal unto itself! We’ll either share next time or order the cups. I next ordered the Homemade Kielbasa ring and again, way too much food because we also ordered the 8 Is Enough dish with sweet Italian sausage instead of the potato cheese pierogi and my wife ordered a half dozen Specialty Pierogis. We ended up taking most of the food home. Our waitress was great and answered all our questions. 4 Stars because the restaurant is very cold inside (1/26/22). Everyone kept their winter coats on while eating and that made it uncomfortable to fully enjoy the meal.

Yelp
Great spot to grab some Polish food while also staying true to its Fall River roots. Has a bar and a large seating area with a homey vibe. Their menu is focused on pierogi (some authentic and some more Americanized), but also features other Polish dishes like golabki, kielbasa, and kapusta. They have several sample plates on the menu where you can mix and match. I got an international pierogi sampler, most of them were fantastic and while I was less impressed with some, particularly the French one, they were all good. We also had their cookie dough pierogi for dessert, they were very rich and delicious. In addition to the food, they also have some Polish beers along with the usual options you'll find in the area. Service was great, Patti came out to check on how our meal was. Prices are also reasonable, and they allow mixing and matching with the pierogi so you can sample a lot for a reasonable price. Definitely a unique spot that's worth a try!

Yelp
An Institution Finally had a chance to get to Patti's Pirogies and we weren't disappointed! The Polish dishes were amazing. The potato pancakes were tasty and covered the plate. Next time we will share one. My husband loved the cabbage soup and stuffed cabbage. The pirogies were to die for and stuffed with a multitude of choices. I opted for a few traditional cabbage and potato as well as a French meatpie pirogi. The apple rum raisin and cherry pirogies for dessert were also delicious. We order stuffed cabbage and more pirogies to take home. The restaurant was very clean. The service was great, and the delicious Polish home cooking evoked memories of dishes I had in my youth. The food us also very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back to Patti's often. Thanks

Yelp
As seen on Tripple D. Walked in and felt like I was ina saloon, had an old school feel to it. The place wasn't so busy, I got seated at the bar and given a menu. It was pretty dim inside. I ordered 6 different pierogi to try and the kapusta to start. I never had it so soupy. Flavor was good, maybe could have used dill. My pierogis were pan fried but the center were still cold. Could have used some more seasoning as it was a bit bland.

Mark R.

Yelp
Great takeout experience. Food was ready on time on DELICIOUS!!!! Pierogis and kielbasa Rueben was outstanding. Beet salad was also delicious!!!!

Mike L.

Yelp
The Wife & I wanted something different for lunch on Saturday so Patti's Pierogis was our choice, based on prior reviews. Not a disappointment at all: attentive, prompt & courteous service, welcoming atmosphere & a bright smile made for an enjoyable meal, which was: International Sampler (12 pierogis - our favorite were the Bada-Bing, but all were tasty), plus picked beets & onions (best I've ever had, anywhere!) & a deli style pickle (crisp & flavorful - we ended up buying another to take home with us). We definitely plan on returning.

Edward M.

Yelp
Make sure you plan ahead because this place is always packed. It has a fun casual ambience. Our waitress was super attentive and nice. When the kitchen forgot one of our items she noticed before I said anything and had it brought out. That being said the kitchen did forget one item and left us waiting for 45 minutes. The pierogis were delicious. The appetizers were also quite good. A little American Apple Pie for dessert was the perfect closer. I am sure there is better somewhere but this food kept me eating even when I was stuffed. Cheers, Edward

Michael M.

Yelp
I honestly thought Patti's Pierogis would've been a little better... not that it was bad, but it's just little things like the food taking way too long, and the service being slow. When a place only has a few customers at the dining area a customer shouldn't have an empty cup for more than 10 mins. It's kinda ridiculous! Some of the pierogis were good, while others were too stuffed and were literally falling apart. Not sure if or when I will go back, but I will say it's definitely worth a try. I don't think the food will come out any faster but, maybe the person working that day will be more attentive and give you much better service than what I received.

Yelp
One of the highlights of living in Providence - the easy access to lots of different cuisines. It is worth the trip from Prov to Fall River to get some Polish cuisine! I wanted all the food - but know my limits. I went with 10 piergogis, a keilbasa link, a golumpki and a dill pickle. The golumpki was warm and delicious - I'd never had one before, so I didn't know what to expect. I love cabbage, and I love soft mushy delicious foods - so this was a win, and I took half home. The pickle I needed just because if a pickle is on a menu, I assume it's worth trying. AND IT WAS! It was so big and juicy. Also took half home :) The kielbasa was good - but not my favorite. Although -- I took home half of mine, and half of my friends keilbasa and cheese sandwich and the sandwich was to die for, so maybe it was just me, or my kielbasa being in the tomato sauce from the golumpki? Eating her leftover sandwich made me want to immediately go back. For the pierogis I went with 2 potato and cheese, and 2 of the cabbage pork and cheese, and then one loadedogi which was potato, bacon and cheese, and one james dean (?I think) which was potato and horseradish. I went home with two leftovers (one of each of the first two). The cabbage pork and cheese or the potato and cheese were tops. The James Dean one was meh - I could smell the horseradish and then when I took a bite I couldn't taste the horseradish... would have liked more. I also thought they used to half polish mustard years ago... but I enjoy most mustards so it wasn't an issue. Just remember being excited for it my first time out there. The service was also excellent. It's small and cozy in there. It's not even a "next time I am in the area" type place -- because it's a spot that brings you to the area.

Will F.

Yelp
We have been coming to this restaurant for years, as their selection, along with the taste and presentation of the pierogies is outstanding! I hope they keep the good job going and we will return again soon!!

Am A.

Yelp
I love Patti's!!!! Delicious pierogi, nice staff and service. It's fun!!! Go and check it out

Joseph S.

Yelp
If we ate thinking "Polish" - it has to be 5 stars as they are doing it right and are the only game within many miles. Stopped in on a Friday night - it was quite full. Always good service. We ordered the Patty's Plate that is a bargain at $29 for 2 as the dozen pierogis at $2 a pop gets you to $24. Added 2 beers. And too much to eat. Note that this comes with a dozen DIFFERENT pierogis and if you grew up on the standard (cheese and potato) some of these may throw you for a loop. So lots of different pierogis and an amazing selection of draft beerd for such a small spot. Damages with tip was about $50. Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Value 5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Noise 3/5 Decor 3/5 We did buy a few kielbasa rings and dozens of pierogis for the freezer.

Mia D.

Yelp
Great traditional polish food--- but I am pretty sure they are now closed permanently. Call before you go to make sure. Fingers crossed someone reopens as a much needed addition to the Fall River culinary scene.

Jenn H.

Yelp
Being of Polish heritage, I had to try this restaurant while on vacation. I remember seeing in on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives back in the day. It's really cute and homey inside! My mom and I each got 6 pierogis. Our favorites were the the cheeseburger, the mushroom and sauerkraut, the Italian sausage and peppers, and the traditional potato and cheese. They have lots of creative combinations to choose from. The pierogis are not exactly traditional but most were very good. The mac and cheese was the only major miss-- too dry and gummy. The platters were huge (we saw the table next to us eating them) and definitely a good choice if you are super hungry! The golabki and kielbasa both looked very authentic. We wanted a smaller lunch so we stuck to the pierogis. This is a fun place to eat after visiting the Lizzie Borden house. Small, casual, one of a kind dive restaurant with friendly service.

Kelly F.

Yelp
I live in RI so I called ahead to place order, and fax machine kept coming on - no answer. So we drove there. 45 minute wait for take out order. She said she wasn't sure what was wrong with phones but it was happening all am. She was very nice and took my order for 6 perogies. I returned 40 minutes later and they were sitting in the take out window. They were lukewarm and soggy. Maybe they would have been better if we dined in but these were not very good. The potato and cheese were the best but still mushy and lukewarm. I would not return.

Andrew J.

Yelp
The ambiance is really polish I guess. There is polka music playing and the staff is awesome. Feels like a family owned restaurant. That being said the pierogis were the best I've ever had.....also might be only ones I've ever had. The Mac and cheese was my favorite by far. They come out super fast so I'd order a few and then add more as you see fit. The fluff nutter is the. Best dessert I've ever had. I will go back for it alone.

Melissa I.

Yelp
I checked out this place after visiting Lizzie Borden's house. It's only about 5 minutes away. It was empty when my husband and I showed up but quickly got filled up! My husband got the 12 for $19.95 and I got the 6 for $10 pierogis. I would be here all night talking about each pierogis we tried (we tried a lot!) but for me, my favorite was the 'Bada-Boom' which is the hot Italian sausage pierogi and I also loved the 'Pizzaogi' which is a pizza flavor. My husband's favorites were the 'Wild Hoggi' which was a BBQ Sauce and Pulled Pork pierogi. We also tried the dessert pierogi. He had the Apple Cranberry and I had the Peanut Butter Cup. While they were both good, we would skip this next time. It was nothing special - at least to us. My husband is a HUGE pierogi lover and he said they were the best ones he's ever had. The service was good. The server was very informative and helpful. The place had a lot of character. I would definitely recommend if you want some good food!

Rebecca B.

Yelp
Love this little place. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner. Nice lady. She helps her staff when they need it which is great. I like that they have such an array of choices and all are very good. Never had a bad pierogi from there and I've tried them all! Definitely take a seat inside if there's room and if they've opened it back up. It's a cute place.

Jim P.

Yelp
Food delicious old-school venue Service very pleasant If you like Gumpkis and pirogies and kielbasa you'll love Patti's

Teena F.

Yelp
I went to patty's pierogis with my little bother and parents. I got a six pack for ten dollars I got a Brady and Mac and cheese a Mac bac cheese and shepherd pie one my favorite one was shepherd pie the Brady had cheese burger and bacon the rest are pretty self explainatory. The ambiance was good the was polish music and the service was great there was I bit of a wait but not to long at all if you are in Fall river Mass go here.

Yelp
Patti's Pierogies in Fall River, Massachusetts is an absolute gem when it comes to pierogies. This place offers a culinary experience that is truly unmatched. Their buffalo mac & cheese pierogies are a delightful fusion of flavors, combining the spiciness of buffalo sauce with the comforting creaminess of mac & cheese. It's a mouthwatering combination that will leave you craving for more. Another standout on their menu is the teriyaki beef pierogi. The succulent beef, marinated in a rich teriyaki sauce, is perfectly encased in a fluffy pierogi shell. Each bite is bursting with savory goodness, and the flavors blend together harmoniously. It's a unique twist on traditional pierogies that will make your taste buds dance with joy. And let's not forget the "Brady pierogi," a tribute to the legendary quarterback himself. This pierogi creation is a touchdown in terms of taste. Filled with a winning combination of flavors, it embodies the spirit of excellence that Brady is known for. It's a must-try for any fan of both pierogies and football. The quality of the pierogies at Patti's is unparalleled. The dough is perfectly tender, and the fillings are generously portioned, ensuring a satisfying bite every time. The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience. If you find yourself in Fall River, Massachusetts, make sure to visit Patti's Pierogies. You won't be disappointed. Their innovative flavors and dedication to perfection make them the go-to spot for pierogi enthusiasts. Trust me, once you try their pierogies, you'll be hooked.

Yelp
I picked up frozen pierogis, kielbasa, and stuffed cabbage on the 23rd - and was incredibly thankful they had anything available. I think pre-ordering, especially right before Christmas, is the right answer. The bar had a few people at it when I walked in, and I was able to place my to go order right there. This place is 100% worth the drive if you don't live in the area and are contemplating driving over or not. The pierogis (went traditional potato) were delicious, and cooked up nicely. The kielbasa was very flavorful. The standout was hands-dish the stuffed cabbage. These people know what they're doing! The cabbage was tightly wound/wrapped, and the rice and ground beef were flavorful and delicious. I will absolutely be back to try more of the menu/bring home and make! Thanks for making our Christmas dinner extra special this year.

Daniel E.

Yelp
Nothing better. Chicken teriyaki, pierogies, phenomenal sweet sausage or spicy sausage, pierogies phenomenal and then of course you have your regular old standby.

Michael B.

Yelp
Food and service was fantastic. Wish they were closer.Big selection . Will have to return to try more.

Niki M.

Yelp
Best pierogis ever! Cozy and the staff is amazing! Authentic food that is fresh and hand made!

Tarah E.

Yelp
Authentic polish fare - cool selection of pierogi flavors. I really enjoyed them 10/10 and had a fun experience trying 12 different flavors with my boyfriend. Inside is pretty outdated and not so welcoming, with the bar being smacked dab infront of the entry way. Was a turn off having to stand their and wait for the bartender to stop gossiping with some locals to take my to go order but the owner appeared shortly after and checked in on me. Such a nice soft energy about her, totally redeemed the moment. We will definitely be back to try more flavors and other menu items! Thanks Patti!

Juli C.

Yelp
It was like stepping into my Babcia's kitchen when we first stopped by in January! The old traditions along with the unusual pierogis make for options for everyone!

Jason O.

Yelp
Awesome place, great Pierogis and kielbasa! Featured in Diners, Drive ins, and Dives.

Michael P.

Yelp
Delicious Polish Fare. Great flavors, perfect portions. Friendly staff and comfortable surroundings

Brian P.

Yelp
Good food but the recipe was stolen from another Polish family. Sophie Hebda Rzasa shared the recipe with Patti's family and their family stole the recipe from Sophie Hebda Rzasa so credit should go to to the Hebda and Rzasas for the original recipes.

Deborah P.

Yelp
The best pierogis anywhere! Family owned and everything is homemade and fresh! don't just go for the usual ones...look at their extensive menu of all kinds of pierogis. Also if you don't know what a pierogi is then you MUST try them!!!

Bsaints 5.

Yelp
Hubby and I went to lunch at Patties Pierogis today because we wanted to try them again before they retired. They were delicious! Still going strong. You better try them again before they are gone!

Joshua R.

Yelp
Great. People from all over the country come here and for good reason. Definitely worth the trip to the dismal city of Fall River.

Nick M.

Yelp
The only Polish game in town and they do a good job representing the basics. They have some added flair to the menu to help the regulars break up the monotony. I didn't get a chance to experience anything but the basic's but those were done just right. The portions were big and all items stuffed and oversized. Absolute solid recommendation for anyone that hasn't stopped by yet. Easy laid back atmosphere and the bartender is such a sweetheart, she made my otherwise lonely dinner a smiling pleasure.

Matthew L.

Yelp
The food is five stars but the A/C was not five stars on the day we visited so I've dropped my rating to four stars. I went with friends and it was our first time at Patti's. The staff was very friendly and made a few recommendations which we took. We had a sampler plate, a few extra and the cabbage rolls. Everything we delicious and we ended up taking leftovers home. I'm from the South so I was only familiar with frozen boxed peroggies. I'm looking forward to visit my friends again and stopping by here for more.

Sadie M.

Yelp
Amazing food and service! They made me feel at home and were very accommodating and accepting. Great place!

Kyle F.

Yelp
Heard tons about this place and decided to give it a try a while back. Nothing was -bad- but not great. After the experience i decided to make some at home instead and my first time ever making pierogis was a better experience for significantly less money.

Melissa V.

Yelp
We finally tried Patti's Pierogis!!! It has been on our list of places to try in Fall River for a few years and I wished we would have tried it sooner. I read the reviews on this place a long time ago and it wasn't what I was expecting at all!!! This is a very nice little restaurant. Nicely decorated, clean, full bar, pleasant atmosphere and Polish music playing. When you walk in the front door the bar is right in front of you and to the right is the dining room. We were greeted immediately and asked whether we were getting takeout or dining in (it seems they do a large takeout business). We seated ourselves and were quickly waited on. We ordered an array of Polish food and enjoyed everything. We even had the pleasure of meeting Patti when she came out to our table and introduced herself. Very nice meal and reasonably priced!

Phil T.

Yelp
Great place to get your fix of Polish. Potato and cheese are to die for. Meat are my second choice.

Araceli S.

Yelp
It reminded me of Chicago! Yes very authentic Polish Pierogis. Definitely recommend this place

Bob S.

Yelp
Food is interesting and well prepared. Not expecting haute cuisine, but it would be nice if you could get a pierogi here in less time than it takes to get a soufflé at a hoity-toity restaurant. Been there on four separate occasions over the last five years, and every single time, the service has been progressively slower, and the staff slightly less pleasing than before. They aren't actually overtly rude to you here, but it's impossible to ignore the impression that the staff couldn't be less interested in your existence, let alone the quality of your experience. The hours are short, (they usually close around 8pm), and if you sit at the bar, good luck getting anyone's attention after 7:30, when the staff enters full breakdown mode. Entering the restaurant for any purpose other than picking up a takeout order after 7pm will earn you a disgruntled sigh from the staff, who are clearly more eager to leave than you will be when it's over.

Christina C.

Yelp
Good food,a bit overpriced. Service was ok,not very busy but still took a while for the order to come out. Small, cozy dining room with old newspaper articles and photos on the walls.

Christine T.

Yelp
I have a polish friend, and she said it was good, so I had to check. I was not disappointed: the food is really tasty, and the staff was extremely nice.

Allie R.

Yelp
Family Owen. The only polish food around the area. Always had fresh cabbage and shepherd pie!

Christine S.

Yelp
This place is a small but very welcoming. You can sit a the bar, tall tables or in the dining room. Lots of paraphernalia to look and and conversation starters. The menu is full of delicious homemade items with a huge assortment of pierogi choices, including dessert pierogis. Try a few or try a dozen. You can't go wrong with dine-in or take-out. We did both! Our take-out was fresh and delicious the next day. We cooked them up exactly as they instructed.

Benjamin P.

Yelp
My wife and I ate here with my family the other day for lunch. Walking in, restaurant was a bit dreary and dated, so would be great to brighten up the space a bit. I got a polish beer which was a nice hoppy dark beer. We split the pierogi platter (12 pierogis, a small kielbasa, and two golumbkis) with a side of sautéed onions and sour cream which was not included with the order. Side order of onions were burned and the sour cream was served as a single use prepackaged container. For an extra charge, not worthwhile getting anything else since they didn't improve the dish. The golumbkis (rice and meat wrapped in cabbage with tomato sauce) were good, but could've used a bit more sauce than was given. Pierogis were the star, but of the ones we got, some were hits (potato pierogi and Portuguese pierogi) and others were complete misses (cabbage pierogi and the spinach pierogi). Would be great if you could customize the platter in the Patti's platter option. Overall decent experience and unique as there are no other polish restaurants in the south shore like this, but not sure we'd return.

Michelle D.

Yelp
Great food, great value, great service. The food here is delicious. Especially the Golabki and the Kielbasa. The cook really goes above and beyond in what she does in the kitchen and it shows in her food. The staff in the front of the house is attentive and friendly and care about their patrons. While we were there the waitress running the front end was very helpful to several take out patrons, while she also helped us and someone at the bar and at no time did she make any of us feel like we were being left unattended. She was wonderful! I can see why they have been there for 13 years, attention to detail, good food, caring about your patrons and just overall good service. Thank You Patty for making it a wonderful dining experience. It was also a pleasure talking with you. Michelle & Jason :)

Whitney R.

Yelp
It's a place to try at least once for the interesting pierogis. Nothing to write home about

Brittany B.

Yelp
Such mixed emotions when I write this review!! I had been wanting to come here for ages, have read the reviews and saw the place featured on shows like DDD and Phantom Gourmet. The overall staff was nice, especially our waitress. My husband and I ordered 12 pierogis (6 different kinds). Our waitress offered us some bread and butter - it was one of the best rye breads I've ever had!!!! Seriously delicious. I loved the menu options for the pierogis but I feel like execution was lacking. Not only were they not HOT when the plate was delivered to our table but some weren't even warm. Also some of the fillings seemed canned or heavily processed... not something that was homemade in the kitchen. Also, while the presentation was nice, there was NO labeling on which pierogi was which. Russian roulette pierogis anyone?? The dessert pierogis were good - peanut butter cup and apple cinnamon. Even though the Apple filling was just canned pie filling, they were at least hot and yummy! Overall, it was an OK experience. Some good things, some OK things, but overall not quite up to the 5-star reviews I've read. Might have been an off day; will need to give them another try down the road.

Linda A.

Yelp
Deeeeelicious. I love the variety of pierogis, especially the chourico pizza one. How awesome! They have a cozy feel going, with a dining room that feels like your grandma's living room, to diner style counter seating. The service was relatively nice, but one person tried to give me grief about asking for a to-go cup for the rest of my soda. Are you kidding me? Other than that, a local staple that I would love to visit again!

Jennifer H.

Yelp
There is no dine in option at this time. Get there early if you want all the options they run out fast. The pulled pork pierogi and the bacon Mac and cheese were very flavorful. I loved the spice of the chourico and potato. I also tried two traditional potato pierogis which were delicious. I also got the French meat pie which is a great vehicle to bring that flavor. They well make them ready to eat or the will boil them so you can cook them later. They get cold quick so unless your going to eat them in the car , I would get them to cool later at your home. Can't wait to go back when you can eat inside.
