We finally got to try Patty Wagon on N May. It’s in an old Whataburger building. Yum!! The burgers were awesome! The meat had great flavor and the buns were super soft and fresh. Friendly service! 10 out of 10! We will be back! ♥️

Google
First time eating here. The Red Dirt burger was amazing. Perfectly toasted quality bun and the meat was perfectly seasoned. The onion rings were great as well... I recommend the Wagon sauce. Definitely going to go here . more often.

Google
I looked for the best burger in OKC, and this place came up a lot. I got the chef's special, hot streak thunder burger. Delicious doesn't do it justice. 👌 Everyone here is super friendly as well.

Decent burger. The service was great. The food was pretty good. It was definitely not the best burger in Oklahoma City contrary to a lot of popular opinion on Reddit. I would suggest giving it a try if you haven’t gone. I will probably be back, but I wouldn’t make a special trip out of my way to eat here.

When you think of a good burger without all the extra mess this is where you want to go. My husband got their taser and really liked it. I liked my regular burger but it was heavier and greasier than I would’ve preferred, but honestly it’s kinda the vibe of the place. My husband says it’s the best burger in OKC so we’ll be back

Google
This place makes a great burger!! I want to keep it a secret but the word is out on it. They have been around for many years and consistently have one of the best burgers in Oklahoma. The buns alone make it worth the drive!! I like the Oklahoman without lettuce and add mayo, so it is kind of like a theta burger. The fries are also always so good! No flimsy, oily spuds here. Again love this place just let me order my food first!!!

Google
This is hands-down, the best burger in Oklahoma City! Their sauces are spectacular, their fries are perfectly, Chris , and every time I am so glad to live close to Patty wagon! If it is fresh, and always delivered quickly with a friendly smile!

Google
Patty Wagon is one of those old-school burger joints that never disappoints. It’s tucked off May (around 30th), and from the moment you walk in, you feel like you’ve stepped back a few decades—in the best way. The vibe is modernized but still has that classic, nostalgic burger-stand feel, like a throwback to the 80s. The burgers are incredible, and their buns set them apart—soft, fresh, and just perfect. My go-to is The Western with barbecue sauce, grilled onions, and bacon… absolutely delicious. Their tater tots are a must, and if you’ve got room for dessert, don’t miss the lemon bars—they’re homemade and outstanding. The service is always top-notch: quick, friendly, and consistent. Patty Wagon keeps it simple, keeps it real, and delivers every time. Definitely one of the best burger spots in Oklahoma City.

Yelp
Service was great. Staff is super friendly. It is hard to impress me on burgers in Oklahoma because there are so many great places here, but I was quite impressed with the burgers here. They don't do Oklahoma onion burgers which I love. They are more a classic burger joint. Has the feel of those drive up burger joints from a long time ago. I have the Swiss N' Shroom burger. By far the best mushroom Swiss I've had in OKC, and possibly the best I've had. The toasted buttery buns were really good. They don't skimp on the meat either. I ordered a double patty, and honestly would have been stuffed with the single patty alone. The burger meat was cooked perfectly. It had just the right amount of crispiness at the edges while still being super juicy in the center. The fries are well seasoned and freshly cut. Like I said l, it is hard to impress me on burgers in Oklahoma because the burgers here are almost always good or the places won't survive due to the stiff competition, but this place impressed me. I am coming back and bringing my family.

Yelp
This place is amazing. It has an old drive-in feel. They have a decent sized private parking lot that is shaped like a drive in. They also have a drive through and an adequate sized dining area. The restaurant specializes in burgers. They have an assortment of signature burgers to choose from. you can get tots or fries to go with your burger. The ffries are hand-cut and looked amazing. I saw them after I had ordered tots. They also have sandwiches and chicken tenders on the menu. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. They gave off a family type vibe. They do not have table service, you have to place your order at the counter and then they wwill call your name and bring it out to you when you it is ready. I ordered a Jailhouse Blues Burger with my tots. It took about 15 minutes for my food to be brought out and it was so delicious. One of the better ones that I have ever had. It was packed with flavor and was so tatsy. It also had some size to it. I was not asking wheres the beef with this burger. This place lives up to all of its hype. They have some delicious burgers and firts class service. I am glad that I made it here and highly recommend checking this place out if you are looking for a mouth watering burger. You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Very impressed with the workers. Friendly nice looking girls working hard. Saw constant cleaning, very organized. You order at front. Menu on a very confusing chauk board or a copy on counter. Ordered Red Dirt and Jailhouse blues. Both good. Fries are really good! Not a fancy place but super clean.

Yelp
Local diner like vibes. No frills just a good burger. Wagon sauce is excellent but I wish my burger had more sauce. Next time I'll have to order more. Onion ring and burgers are freshly fried. Good for a quick meal! Staff was busy but still friendly and kind! Packed house all the time!

Yelp
When it comes to burgers, I rarely give a restaurant a 5 stars. Most of the time, I find the burgers to be "too overbearing" whether it's too unbalanced, too fatty, too meaty, or having no vegetables. Patty Wagon is one of the few burger places that I feel has the most balanced burgers. I am especially referring to their Red Dirt Burger. Juicy patty, cheddar cheese, bacon, grilled onions, lettuce, and BBQ sauce are sandwiched between brioche buns. It may sound like a lot but the combination just works to create one delicious treat. Excellent burgers combined with a fast and friendly service make Patty Wagon the burger shop to beat. To me, it has no competition. It is my highest recommended place to grab a hamburger in Oklahoma, and I don't care how old the building is.

Yelp
The burgers are delicious and you can't go wrong with a side of cheesy tater tots. I like the small cafe feeling you get as well as all of their staff's quality service.

Yelp
Greated as I walked in. Checked over menu online before arriving. Settled on red dirt burger. Smiles behind the counter with the staff.! Wowed by the service right off the start! My hunger ways got ahold of my decision making and I looked at the menu board and mumbled something that made sense to the server...Bacon BBQ sauce burger with a small side of fries...coming right up sir. The service was top notch. The flavors of the burger ...life changing. The fries were piping hot ... . This place knows how to get someone's hunger taken care of. I came in hungry, I left fatter and happier. Thank you Patty Wagon for satisfying my stomach! I will return. The girls loved their food and the coloring sheets getting hung up! Smelled good in the place. Cozy seating. Bathroom was clean! My coworker got the green chili Gouda burger special. He lived in New Mexico for a time and loved the burger. Respectfully, Bryan Yukon Oklahoma

Yelp
Okay this place is very good and if you think you won't like it then you are wrong. My only "complaint" is that they are a little heavy on the salt but who isn't. Great value for price and I think a must try when in okla!

CR W.

Yelp
This restaurant is in an old Whataburger building at 36th and May. The food was okay. The burger was good, fries were homemade. We inquired about onion rings, and they were frozen. That's a no-go for me! It was adequate. Nothing really bad, just not the bestest burger I've ever had.
google avatar

Charles J.

Yelp
The burgers here are amazing!!! I've never had a bad experience and the staff is always friendly!!
google avatar

C Daniel C.

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch and it was amazing. I had the double burger with bacon and fried egg. I asked for a runny egg and that's just what I got. So good!!! I also had the onion rings which were obviously made there and not some frozen ones out of a bag. Additionally I stole a few fries from one of my friends and they were cooked to perfection. Finally, the workers were super friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. Try this place out the next time you want an old-school type burger experience and you will not leave hungry or disappointed!

Yelp
Hands down the best burger and fries in OKC. The tater tots are top notch as well. Their house sauce "Wagon Sauce" is the best burger/fry sauce in the state!! Would recommend to anyone!

Timothy G.

Yelp
Great food & service! Had the BLT and the Wagon Melt! Both on Wheat Berry bread and it was delicious! We'll be back! Love it!
google avatar

Angela W.

Yelp
I ordered the Red Dirt burger with tots & a peanut butter shake. The buns are amazing!!! Staff was super nice and the service was good. Building was a little rough around the edges but clean.
google avatar

Yelp
Great hand cut fries. Lots of homemade dipping sauces. Burger was really good. Highly recommend

Yelp
I am a huge Patty Wagon fan. I have tried pretty much all of the top burgers around the OKC metro and their burger is in the top 3 for me... it's seriously delicious! The restaurant is a small place that gets packed out quick during the lunch rush, but somehow service is still very quick. Their fries are cut fresh in-house, so if that's your thing, then come and get 'em!

Andrew C.

Yelp
The food was amazing but the service was the best part! Super sweet woman helped us at the front and was nothing but helpful and sweet. And the old building has so much character super fun dining area! Can't wait to come Back when I am in town

Demorion B.

Yelp
A woman was working reg and when I came in she asked me aggressively if she could help me. Mind you all id done so far was walk in the store and look at the menu.

Yelp
10/10 first time trying patty wagon and can't wait to return. Friendly service. Great food. Awesome fries. You can call ahead to place and order or you can also order at the drive thru.

L C.

Yelp
Staff was condescending to my 12 year old because of her order, and then rude to me when I questioned it. Shame because the food has been good most visits. Not willing to put up with that.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is hoppin !! I'm here at lunch and realize I've been missing a local phenom. Got the big John burger w onion rings and unsweetened tea. Food came out fresh and fast. Tired of all the chain burgers joint come here.

Yelp
After two and a half years of living in OKC, my quest for what I define as a pretty damn good burger ended after finally getting to experience Patty Wagon's culinary artistry. Perfectly grilled bun that was lighty toasted on the outside and still soft on the inside. Fresh lettuce that still had a slight crunch. Tomato slices that were the ideal thickness and ripeness. All of these contributed to savoring every bite of sinking into a hearty, perfectly seasoned and cooked patty enveloped in melted cheese (my choice being pepper jack but there are several options). I ordered take out through their website which was easy to do. My food was ready pretty quickly - only about 10 mins! I picked it up at the drive through and had the nicest interaction with the staff. I will definitely be getting my burger fix here from now on!
google avatar

Sonia C.

Yelp
We loved their burgers! The buns were good and the way they cook their burgers was delicious. We loved their corn poppers. They have a small diner setting with one bathroom each for men and woman. When you pull in, it kind of gives you a drive in type of vibe. The service was fast but not too fast. Everything is made fresh to order. We will definitely come back and bring out of towners too!

Tina K.

Yelp
My husband and I just finished the best burgers and fries we've had in a very long time definitely worth the trip check it out service was awesome

Tony C.

Yelp
Amazing Burgers, love the Buns! stop by and say hello, Peanut butter shakes are also quite tasty
google avatar

Al P.

Yelp
Food was great and staff friendly. The patties are small, not a bad thing, just something to keep in mind when ordering. Great place to go when on a low calorie, low carb, or gluten free diet due to being prepared for lettuce wraps and knife and fork bunless.

Gabriel G.

Yelp
This place is a must go to if you love burgers! Great fast service and great employees! Feels like a family oriented and a welcoming diner with some great food! You have to try their spicy ketchup, it is so bomb! The burger was the burger I've had in the OKC area! Can't wait to go back to this hidden gem!
google avatar

Yelp
Smells like onion rings walking in- yum! Love that they offer tots as a side. Lots of add ons, including green chiles. Hand cut fries, great burgers and the Wagon sauce is great for dipping.

Yelp
Best burgers in OKC! Service is quick, food is fresh and hot, and quality is amazing.

Yelp
I didn't know it at the time, but my good friend in Texas has also visited this restaurant on the NW side of town. It's a family-owned business housed in an older style whataburger. They've changed the designs of whataburger restaurants many times since this style was last being built, if that gives you any idea how old the building is. They're known for their sweet sourdough buns, among other things. They sell shirts which advertise this fact. Their menu is pretty simple and not too far from what whataburger puts on their menus. Burgers, a few other sandwiches and shakes. Burger patties are 100% Angus beef, smashed thin, and 1/3 pound. I ordered the Big John, a specialty burger with green chili and lots of cheese, but made it a double and swapped the cheese for cheddar. I also added hand cut fries, a soft drink, and a chocolate shake. I am a sucker for burger restaurants that cut their own fries. This usually means they care about the quality of their burgers, too. The burger is very tasty, and I finish it quickly, even at 2/3 lb. The small fries are definitely small, and I finish those even before the burger. Since the shakes are made with soft serve, they aren't all that... but they're priced right. I was only able to finish half the shake. The one weird that happened was they started turning their signs on the door and window to "closed," and it was a full house at the time. I was wondering what was happening...bit it turns out their cooktop/grill had just gone out about halfway through my dining experience. They basically shut down the restaurant, and it was nearly cleared within 10 mins. Only me and 2 other tables were left finishing their meals. However, it's a tasty burger for sure, and I would be happy to return if I was ever in the area again.

Cindy L.

Yelp
It's a very good burger place. The fries are a little greasy, but tasty. The chili in the Frito pie is awesome, but makes a mess in a to go order. I highly recommend the Frito Pie if you are eating at the restaurant or somewhere nearby, but don't recommend it generally for takeaway. When we were there, the restaurant had a cleaning supplies scent, so that's why I knocked it down one star. But I would visit again and give it another shot.
google avatar

Teaira J.

Yelp
Perfect! Everything about my burger was perfect! Keep your eye out for this little burger joint. They are doing it right. Even the buns, which are either made in house or bought locally are perfect. My burger wasn't dripping with grease, just filled with flavor.
google avatar

Yelp
Fresh ingredients, great service, yacht Rock on the loudspeakers, a favorite spot for the local blue collar lunch crowd.
google avatar

Yelp
Outstanding service. Tasty burgers. Clean and comfortable dining space. Great ranch for dipping. Overall a solid meal!
google avatar

Terry B.

Yelp
Holy smokes if you have not tried these burgers this is a must try! Might be the best hidden gem in Oklahoma City. I ordered the Jailhouse Blues Burger. Totally blown away! They are not shy with the Blue Cheese! Ther buns held up nicely until I finished. My wife ordered the Red Dirt Burger! Again another winner. Our sides were onion rings & hand cut fries, were good! The gentleman taking our order was pleasant and answered all of our questions. This was a former What a Burger but don't judge from the outside - the magic is on the inside! The inside was clean and tables were quickly cleared for the next customer's!
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
Food is always great and made fresh to order every time I come and the staff are always friendly. Best burgers in the city by far!
google avatar

Terri C.

Yelp
What an awesome hamburger I had several to choose from. I had a regular hamburger, but I had green chilies and onion. The hamburger was delicious. Almost it was like homemade hamburger can't go wrong with the food. There was crowded area. The tables were really crowded. There is a line around lunchtime so be prepared to wait
google avatar

Amber V.

Yelp
The food is great, the restaurant appears to be an old whataburger and is very dated. The prices are steeeep, and everything is ala cart. I feel for the price, the restaurant should look nicer. The service was very friendly! I'm not sure I'll return though simply because the price doesn't match the environment. Hubby had the red dirt burger, I had the mushroom and Swiss but substituted cheddar, two kids chicken tender meals, and hubby had fries and I had onion rings. The food was good, but after tip the total was over $57, so although the food tasted good (onion rings were thicker than I prefer), I'm not paying $57 for some fast food burgers, sorry.
google avatar

Blake F.

Yelp
There's certainly a lot of competition in OKC, but I'm pretty sure this is THE best burger and fry combo you can get. The buns are heavenly. I can't stop eating the fries (or dipping them in the homemade sauces).
google avatar

Kristina F.

Yelp
Great burgers and the shakes were super thick, we will be back. Not a lot of seating, but you can take it to go.
google avatar

Randy H.

Yelp
This place is damn good food for the price you pay the place that's next-door to them is subpar and I just not my favorite but Patty wagon yes ma'am thank you ma'am. And the people that work here are amazing. This is only my second visit but absolutely delicious food
google avatar

Jaedi W.

Yelp
This place has some of the best burgers in Oklahoma City hands-down. They are all handmade and fresh. Super fresh ingredients you would never know it by the exterior. It looks like it's closed when you're driving in, but don't let that fool you don't miss this one.

Gary M.

Yelp
This is hands down the best burger! IMO. The meat is tasty and they grill the buns, on the outside! One of the most important things is, the food quality and service is consistent.

Eli G.

Yelp
The food was good but the service was great! Will definitely be back. We came on a whim and were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and delicious food (especially the house sauces)
google avatar

Michael D.

Yelp
The burgers are on point every time we have visited over the last 5 or 6 years. Small seating area but usually not much wait for a table. Old time burger joint appeal. Definitely a good value for the price.
google avatar

Tamar P.

Yelp
The place was busy. Alot of fellow hardworking Oklahomans. The staff was very kind and helpful. I was a little stunnd by the price of the burger. To add fries and a drink was extra and I paid more than I wanted. Needless to say the burger and fries were delish but the price was so disappointing.

Matthew B.

Yelp
Best burger in okc. All made fresh to order and sauces are made from scratch. Friendly staff and a charming atmosphere.
