Best Tamales in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"A shop that focuses exclusively on tamales with both savory and sweet options, featuring slow-cooked chicken in a spicy green sauce, shredded pork in a mild red sauce, and a sweet corn with pineapple tamale; customers can order single items or larger quantities such as a half dozen, a dozen or three dozen." - Krista Diamond

Patty’s Tamales expands from Sunrise to the University District | Eater Vegas

"Serving a tightly focused tamale-only menu since late 2015, this small operation is known for to-go orders and a busy catering business for events and family occasions. It is expanding from its original location into a 1,200-square-foot space in the University Gardens retail center across Maryland Parkway from UNLV, replacing the long-shuttered El Santaneco a few steps from the post office; an opening date has not been announced. The menu lists tamales at roughly $2 each ($12 for six, $24 for a dozen) with non-spicy choices like chicken red, sweet corn and sweet corn with pineapple, and spicy varieties including chicken green, pork red, chicken in brown sauce, and cheese with peppers." - Bradley Martin

Tamales are delicious and quite large. Their prices have gone up and it was quite a shock. $50.00 for a dozen cheese Tamales. We hadn’t been there for a while and it seemed like they were more peppers in them. They had quite a kick to them.

I love love love tamales so when I ran across this place I had to try. ! I had 1/2 dozen green chicken tamales were a good size, great taste ,perfect meat to masa ratio and spicy ! Though the tamales were great the lady at the counter wasn't very friendly and refused to speak in English so we could order. I asked if I could order with someone elese but she was the only one there. Pulled out Google translate usually helps with language barriers. Glad I got to experience good tamales! I'll be back with my Google translate!

Simply the best tamales in town! I love Patty's and everyone I share their tamales with is always impressed. I live closer to the other location that sadly was damaged, but am more than happy to make the drive!

Delicious tamales! My personal favorite was Queso con Rajas (cheese with peppers.) They also have beef tamales - which we're not on the menu. Inside is a no frill, no seating store front.

I used to love it here but I will not be returning ever again. Prices keep raising here and to get this is ridiculous. $4 a tamale and no filling. No thank you. Find somewhere else.

I love coming here but I feel every time I go the green chicken gets spicier and spicier. There wasn't even a good flavor this time literally just spicy. Last time I got a really good green chicken was last year... Sad they're so expensive for inconsistency

We went there this morning and the prices have gone up, I get it, but $25 for 6 tamales?! The tamal verde was dry and without a doubt made yesterday, guess they had leftovers and decided to sell today. The masa was bland and there was barely sauce, the amount of chicken is generous but it’s almost hard to swallow without a drink because it’s dry like this desert. Out of the 4 kinds of tamales and 6 individuals one tasted fresh. I mean $4 for a single tamal and on top of that $1.75 fee for using a credit/debit is outrageous. Definitely not going back
