"Serving a tightly focused tamale-only menu since late 2015, this small operation is known for to-go orders and a busy catering business for events and family occasions. It is expanding from its original location into a 1,200-square-foot space in the University Gardens retail center across Maryland Parkway from UNLV, replacing the long-shuttered El Santaneco a few steps from the post office; an opening date has not been announced.
