I arrived on their 10th anniversary. The place was packed and I won a $25 gift certificate on the free spin wheel. This could make me a little bias but their food was delicious. I was seated immediately, handed a menu. I love there menu because it's so easy. A fair amount of food/drink options and they all look delicious. The atmosphere was electric and the 10 year house toast was a blast. Everyone in there had positive vibes and the waiters/waitresses were happy I was there. I highly recommended these guys for a wonderful evening out. Enjoy.

A large party of over 20 filmmakers from several counties have met here before Cine Gear. Maria at the reception was extremely amicable, our food server Mark handled our large party with efficiency, speed and extreme kindness. We all have adored every single dish there and my favorite dish is the classic eggs Benedict. Keep up the great service and legendary ambience as well as the delicious food. Thank you so much.

Patz is a Taluca Lake classic. It's a mid-century diner with typical dine4 fare. Their Ruben and sweet potato fries were great. I drove by the other day and saw that some parts are currently under refurbishment, so hopefully it'll look even better once that's completed.

Visited this place for a brunch. We ordered pancakes and chicken parmesan. The food arrived on our table shortly. The taste is great. Outdoor seating added a nice touch to our atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.

Their tuna melt is AMAZING!! They have Mr Pibb and the music that was playing made this 80’s KROQ girl very happy.

We got a to-go order with three adult meals and one kids meal. The order was ready when we arrived and what we were given was accurate other than missing the drink on the kids meal. The food was generally good. My issue was with the kids meal. We ordered the kids French Toast. As mentioned, it was missing the drink. That meant the only thing the only thing for $9.99 was a single piece of bread with some egg batter! (See the picture!) Not at all a value and not something I would ever recommend for anyone with kids!

Unsanitary employee: I went to use the to wash my hands before sitting down at the table to eat and saw a kitchen-worker with blue gloves exit the restroom but isn't that unsanitary? Touching the restroom door and goodness knows what else. IF he washed his hands... it would (still) be not sanitary to open the door with fresh gloves to work with food. Unhappy waitress I've been a regular for years, I'm not familiar with the waitress from (Nov 12th) but she was very unpleasant. The food came within 3 minutes. It was so fast. She plopped our food down and walked away. The bread on the sandwich was so soggy with oil. The soup was like warm. It was not worth the hefty price and service fee for tip. This place is just not the same.

Really quick service, friendly staff and great food! We're big on brunch and they get the basics right. I can't wait to come back.

This has to be the best restaurant ever for me! They have amazing food and amazing comfort food. I have stage four cancer so I go through some really weird cravings. I have been having their chicken Caesar salad for a while now once or twice a week lol it tastes so good and it never makes me sick. Hamburgers are amazing and their milkshakes as well. I really appreciate such a wonderful establishment

Great little place, good food, great service, and the pricing is friendly. We had a rather large group descend on them for a breakfast meeting and they handled this all with professionalism. Orders came out quickly, were served where they belonged, and everything tasted really good. I liked the place, good selection on the menu, something for nearly everybody. I tried their chilaquiles with chicken and was impressed, I'd get that again if you're curious. All in all a very decent little place, though parking can get a bit dicey at times.

I had lunch at Paty's Restaurant, a Toluca Lake landmark and a favorite of the local residents and rightly so. The restaurant offers indoor and patio dining with comfortable seating in immaculate dinning areas. The dining room walls are adorned with photographs of the many celebrities that dine there . As I walked into the restaurant I was immediately greeted and welcomed and the exceptional service continued throughout out my time in the restaurant. I really felt appreciated while there. As I show in the photo I ordered the fish and chips which were delicious. The fish was crispy on the outside, and moist and flaky on the inside and had a perfect accompaniment of the house made tartare sauce. Th Cole slaw was crisp and very tasty as well. To finish my meal I had a slice of their house made chocolate cream pie which was a slice of chocolate velvet goodness. If you choose dine at Paty's save room for desserts, you be glad you did.

Came by here for dinner. I ordered the Turkey dinner with a baked potato. The server asked if I wanted chives and sour cream and I got a salad with a side of blue cheese The blue cheese tastes more like ranch. The turkey was okay. Small portions. When I got my bill I found out I got charged 50 cents for the tiny thing of chives. Lame. I hate plazas that have nickel and dime you. Server also should have said that will be extra but she didn't. Lame.

I am a diner kind of girl. Patys is total comfort zone for me. The atmosphere is friendly, relaxed and casual. Black and white photos of celebrities line the walls. Food is All American diner delight. Good old two egg breakfast and omelettes, burgers and sandwiches, meatloaf for dinner. You can't go wrong here. Servers are quick and friendly. The outdoor patio is extremely comfortable, covered and tented from wind and rain. This is a great place to eat, relax, and watch the world go by.

Originally opened in 1960 Paty's is a true classic diner and one of the best in the valley. There are a lot of other restaurants very close by so it's a real breakfast hotspot. Fans of the show Barry on HBO may recognize this location as it's featured in the show. It was extremely busy when we arrived for a Sunday brunch, but we only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table inside. Most people chose to sit outside today because it was sunny and warm. Our server was really polite and all of our food items came out super fast. Inside is pretty large with booth and counter seating or the other option will be one of the many outdoor tables. They have a large parking lot behind the restaurant or otherwise it will be one of the other many free street spots. As always I started off my meal with a coffee and I thought it was especially good and strong here. For my meal I chose the Eggs Benedict but added avocado and substituted chorizo instead of the ham. I think that combo is really great and I would definitely recommend anyone. I also ordered a Single Biscuit & Gravy on the side and it was a real delicious fluffy biscuit with authentic gravy. Overall a great breakfast, and I definitely would say Paty's is one of my favorite diners in Los Angeles. I would recommend to anyone searching for a great place to have breakfast, but I would suggest going early because it can get very crowded.

While out and about, we decided to make a pit stop before our destination. It's awesome that there's numerous dietary options to choose from. The associates are prompt, knowledgeable and they're focused on making sure that they have variations to their entrees. The scene is nice and quaint, with a traditional diner with large windows opening up into the town. With music playing all the hits from the last millennial. If there is one thing I enjoy, being able to grab a meal that's not only affordable but filling as well. Whether you're vegan, meat eater or on an air diet. I'm sure your gut will steer you in the right direction.

Best diner in NoHo. Great service. Sandwiches are the go to for me but everyone I go with has something to choose from and is always very satisfied.

My brother and I frequent Paty's quite a bit and this is because they truly make you feel at home! Today we had Mark as a server and he is so professional! He gave us extra ranch and teas to go! He is constantly on the lookout for his customers. The options for food here are endless and every meal I've had is great. I also love the atmosphere. It is always clean and such a nice place to eat.

I really wasn't a fan of patys but my husband and daughter love it so I decided to give it another shot this past weekend for breakfast. Last time I came here was before the remodel. WOW! I've been converted! The food tasted much better! My eggs were cooked perfectly and so was the bacon! It was a night and day experience in terms of food and ambiance. Our waitress was great and I'll definitely be back with my family. Whatever you guys are doing differently, keep doing it. It's working! What a 180!

We had a late breakfast one Sunday morning at Patys. It's a place that's been in Toluca Lake for as long as I can remember. Weekend mornings are usually busy so we had to wait a while to get seated. We were so hungry... We were seated at a booth inside and after a quick look through of the menu, we were set. I went with Corned Beef Hash ($15.99) which was their signature hash with corned beef, onions & potatoes. That comes with hash browns & toast. For me, it was just ok. I should have thought about it more but it was too much potatoes in one breakfast dish for me. Having corned beef hash PLUS hash browns on the side was potato overload and made me wanting a different taste/texture to my meal. The corned beef hash looked good too but it was a little bland. The menu says its mixed with spices but it was not evident. The scrambled eggs I ordered were standard. Toast, the same... Strawberry jam for me every time. The lady ordered Patys Chilaquiles ($16.99) which came with 2 eggs over medium, roasted chicken, avocado, red onions, cotija cheese, crema, tomatillo sauce all over tortilla chips. FYI, this dish is only served until 2pm... She liked it. Chilaquiles in tomatillo sauce is her go-to so she enjoyed all the elements of this one. This was plated nice and looked great. Service was fine. Our server was running around on a very busy Sunday morning. Place was jammed. Some parties taking way too long with so many people waiting to be seated where it was clear their meal was done with and paid for. That's too bad... I don't think I'd wanna wait as long as we did again but might come by for late lunch or early dinner. Parking out back or in their lot or street parking if available. Good neighborhood restaurant. Wish it was a little better.

Heard this was a staple in the area. Lots of tables and fast service. I also think it was reasonably priced. The menu was diner standard and good. Nothing about the dishes were really outlandish but it was good for a work lunch.

My friend and I went to Patys Restaurant for lunch on Saturday. We parked on a neighboring street since we were running errands in the area. At around 12:30pm, we waited only a few minutes to get seated. The restaurant was busy, but our server, Mark, was still very friendly and attentive. My friend and I got a few items to share, including the Half & Half Basket, Mushroom Burger, and Tuna Melt. The Half-Half Basket had onion rings and French fries, which was perfect since we wanted to try both sides. We liked the onion rings a bit more because the fries were kind of plain for our tastes. I also asked for small plate to put our dipping sauces, and to our surprise, Mark brought out the plate and extra sauce containers of ranch. We didn't expect that, but it was much appreciated! The Mushroom Burger was simple and the bun could've been more toasted. However, it was still tasty and there was a cheese pull! The Tuna Melt was my fave out of all of the items; it was savory and salty, and paired well with the cole slaw I chose for the side. We don't eat at diners often, but we thought Patys Restaurant was alright and worth a try. The food isn't super special, but the service was excellent and it really felt like we were in a cozy, local diner.

Great food, great ambiance and the service was awesome! Quick, delicious, and attentive. Mark is our favorite server and once again he didn't disappoint.

Came for lunch on a Saturday afternoon it was 1:30, so the lunch rush had already moved out & seating was plentiful - which it usually never is! We sat on the patio, it was a gorgeous day & we had the doggie with us! Reyna was our server, and was on top of everything, even bringing out a bowl of water for the dog! Hubby ordered the Patty's Melt with fries I had the Cobb Salad & substituted the bacon with turkey bacon. Food came out quickly, and we didn't even have to ask again for dressings, as they had already been dropped at the table. Hubby said the Patty Melt was hot & tasty & the fries were crispy. The Cobb salad was also tasty & had a full chicken breast on it. It was not a chopped salad, as most Cobb's are & it was fresh & flavorful. The only bummer was the lettuce core that was on the plate. Our drink glasses were continually filled up & we never had to ask for a refill. All in all, it was a great experience & Paty's will continue to be on our list of go-to's!

Update: A phenomenal lunch at Paty's today with the amazing and warm manager Maria-- who always greets me with a smile and positive attitude! And Shout Out to the excellent server, Mark, who embodies kindness and incredible customer service. This place keeps getting better and better with age! Ask to sit in Mark's section and say hello to the Marvelous Maria!!

My partner and I love this place. The service is great and the food is always fresh. Our favorite waiter is Mark - we've had him a few times and he's always so sweet and personable. We'll be back soon.

Absolutely a must to eat for breakfast or lunch. Food is excellent and the service was A+++! Mark was our server and took care of us, thank you Mark!!

The atmosphere and this place was nice. Great customer service food was delicious. Dessert yummy next time I'll make some room for some good dessert when I go back yes.

I couldn't love a restaurant more than I love Patys. It's like sitting down to eat with friends. The food is made to order and delicious. Want to add something? Change something? They'll do their best to accommodate you. There's a lot of regulars and that's how you know they're consistently awesome. Everyone is so nice. George, the owner, is super presents and takes good care of the place. Maria is an amazing Manager. Mark, one of the servers, has amazing enthusiasm and just wants to keep you happy. (He's my mom's favorite server!) Melchior is the greatest busser.

Everything you want and need is here. A classic burger, lettuce, tomato, some good mustard and a big helping of perfectly cooked fries. This is my favorite place to go for a smiling waiter and a delicious meal.

Came here on a sunday, and stayed for so long, i think i left on monday?? Lol naw jk im jus sayingh yhey don't rush u! Which is rare and honestly a relief. Vibes on point. This is a great brunch spot, the bacon was thick and those hash browns were pretty alright. Came here with my girl, she got mimosas, i got soju bloody mary dunno what soju is but call me a fan! We had some drinks and some good conversation. She beought her dog which people were like awwww and we're like ya we know we know very attentive service. U should give this place a try!

I'm on my Thanksgiving week Update train and want to give Paty's a very special shoutout. We are extremely grateful for them being open on Thanksgiving Day!!!! I completely understand the logic behind giving your staff the day off and being closed on a holiday. I also understand, not only my own needs and wants but those of others who may not celebrate certain US holidays or have friends or family to spend these days with - leaving them in need of places being open as well. The years my sons birthday falls on Thanksgiving are always interesting, but I've had 22 years to figure it out. We celebrate and mix it in with the holiday then use surrounding dates to further the celebration with the elimination of the holiday. Insert Paty's - I wanted to take him out to brekke (since obvi dinner was covered ;) When I called Paty's about a week in advance they let me know they'd be open. I'm so happy they were. I made him some ferry bread in the morning before our Drumstick Dash run and we were able to enjoy a lovely birthday brekke for him at a diner of his choice. We arrived to no wait, and had a great spot outside. Service was fantastic! I always order the exact same thing, short stack of buttermilk pancakes. My favorite item on their menu. I'm a creature of habit and would never order anything but these, they are soooo damn scrumptious. Paty's is a neighborhood staple, our family has enjoyed them over the decades. Their fresh squeezed orange juice is also really good! Thank you so much Paty's for being open on Thanksgiving Day, allowing us the opportunity to enjoy a my sons birthday brekke here.

Absolutely love Paty's and everyone we ever encounter there! I have been meaning to write this review for so long and as my husband drives us there now, I was inspired to finally do it. Patys is just PERFECT. an amazing menu that's large and has something for everyone. I love how it feels so cozy in there. Like you're home with family. Everyone at Patys goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and are some of the nicest people you can meet in LA! Especially the manager Maria - what a gem! Anything I've ever ordered has been so fantastic! Their Greek salad with grilled chicken is top tier! And their pancakes are some of my fav in LA! It's just the perfect spot when you're craving a super menu with tons of options and that welcoming diner feel that feels like family. Easy parking in the back which is so nice. But if the lot is full, plenty of street parking. Always exceptionally clean. And if you are a Diet Coke drinker you will totally understand - but the crispiest fountain diet coke in the valley. We love Patys so much and love everyone there!

Service has really gone down. We use to go and staff would be friendly and smiling now they all have this mean grin and like it's a bother we are there to eat. It's pathetic and unnecessary as we can take our money somewhere else. It's a shame -

I am updating my review once again from my previous visits to Pat's restaurant. I have been going to Paty's for several years now and never really had a bad experience. Whatever I have tried so far has always been so good and fresh. Perfect ingredients and it always tastes good! I was there on 9/1/23 and requested to seat in the patio. Depending on my mood and the weather. I also like to sit inside the restaurant. Gabe, my server was very energetic, friendly knowledgeable, and brought back a lot of memories from my friends from my high school years. Back in the 80's. I just had to write this. That is exactly how he made me feel at that moment. Great job Gabe!! I ordered skirt steak chimichurri, with rice pilaf and broccoli, small dinner salad, and California chicken sandwich with fruit. Oh and Garlic bread which I should have asked before ordering. It was a bit pricy for me for only 2 regular size bread. $4.99. I could have bought a whole loaf of garlic bread for that price. They had the news on that day. TMZ was announcing/reporting all the celebrity news which I didn't care much to hear and to know. It would have been nice to play music like you guys normally do! Clean, nice service, good food. Will be back soon.

First, thank you so much for being so kind with us, and letting us many time after bill having a good chat using the table. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The ambiance is a nice classic dinner which restaurant receives many old customers for years. One is my friend Annie. She loves there. The food is good and tasty, comfortable food, the pie was delicious! The price is reasonable and they have a good parking lot behind the restaurant. I suggest take your friend or family who is visiting the city to go there. The lace and s the history of the city.

I absolutely adore this place. It brings me so much joy to support this local gem. My routine here always includes the chorizo and eggs, paired with a delicious bran muffin and fresh orange juice. The service is consistently fast and filled with friendly faces. When we decide to dine in, our favorite spot is at the bar. The chicken soup is nothing short of delightful and a fantastic remedy for those pesky hangovers. I don't say this lightly; you can trust my words. This place is truly special. Not too loud and super clean.

This place is pretty good! It's your typical family diner. I ordered just a simple sandwich but it was good and looked fancy shmancy. brought the fam here and it was nice out so we ate outside!

If diner barstools could talk, I'd be very interested to hear the conversation they'd dish out at Paty's. A cozy neighborhood joint that's been around forever, service is fast everything is clean and that silverware is reminiscent of other diners I've been at over the years... Not fancy & it does the trick. Fresh-squeezed OJ is just as good as I can make at home & it's hypnotic to watch get squeezed thru the ZUMMO machine. Outside seating galore. Easy, free parking 'round back. I always expect to run into a writer, director or someone mildly famous in a baseball cap & dark sunglasses just grabbing a bite to eat. Great LA vibe. Very affordable w/portions that won't leave ya hungry. This morning I came for breakfast -- enjoyed their multigrain pancakes, eggs & sausage. Everything is quality. Simply delightful. (apologies that the photo is taken when I was nearly done, but I was hungry! Don't let the photo foolya, the short stack was nice & substantial, not too lite being multigrain -- Paty's has Belgian waffles & reg pancakes if you want somethin' fluffier, which I did not! Super duper happy with those pancakes.)

Great friendly service and our food came out very quickly! Tried the chilli and the club sandwich with fries. Definitely want to come back to try some breakfast items and the patty melt...maybe some pies as well. My friend said the patty melt is the best thing they've had there so looking forward to that.

I visited this restaurant in May for my birthday and have been back 2 more times. The restaurant is great! I've eaten breakfast all 3 times. The service is fast even though the restaurant is busy. Several associates help in bringing out the food and follow up with refills of coffee. The coffee is hot and the food is delicious. I want to give a shout out to Maria one of the Managers. She is upbeat and friendly and is always on the move checking on customers seeing if all is ok. I had never been to the restaurant before. I have recommended it to family and friends and they haven't been disappointed. If you are looking for a diner experience with the ambience of the 1960's you will like this place.

This place is just fantastic. Really nice staff, lots of outdoor seating, ​that community/neighborhood feel. Food's great too. Hard to imagine not giving it five stars. Was here on Thanksgiving most recently and all the managers were there, serving food themselves and being really warm, just chatting with us. Highly recommend on any day.

Super friendly staff at a cozy restaurant in the heart of Toluca Lake. Just a great area to visit with many options. The menu has a great selection for any time of the day. Lots to recommend on the menu. Nice place to have food with friends or catch up on work while eating well.

Paty's is an excellent spot in Toluca lake! Great service, great food, and reasonable prices. Be prepared to wait, but in my experience the wait wasn't bad at all! I got the 3 pancakes with eggs & bacon combo was $14.99. It's a casual spot and a great place to meet up with friends. Would recommend!

It's always good food. Fresh OJ... you know it's a good place if they offer fresh squeezed OJ! My little dude loves the burgers here. They have great breakfast food too!

I've never eaten a burger using a fork and a knife before. This is a local spot and I was looking forward for a nice lunch. I ordered their mushroom burger because it sounded amazing. It looked amazing until after my first bite. The whole burger literally fell apart into pieces. I had a deconstructed burger in front of me. The fries had zero seasoning. And our server came by twice; to take our order and to give us the check. That's it. No refills or to check if everything was great. Very disappointed. I would've ordered a platter if I wanted to eat it with a fork and a knife. Not coming back here again.

I hadn't been to Patys since 2020 struck. We went back a few weeks ago and it is just as fabulous as we remembered. To start the waitresses are fantastic. Anything you need help with to get you the right thing to eat they're there to help. And that is so refreshing when there are so many people working as waitresses that are miserable, not these guys! so the food well, I used to love the grilled cheese, their salads are fabulous. Do you want cheeseburger? Will get one. The menu has something for everybody, whether your carnivore, a vegan, a pescatarian, or your lactose intolerant. They got something for you to eat. Which is wonderful. I love their breakfast foods. The coffee is divine. The prices are fantastic. I don't know why you're not on your way now.

Paty's is an old-school diner since 1960 serving up classic all American fare. This place is a popular breakfast/lunch spot in Toluca Lake with healthier variety menu options compared to other diners. Paty's has a healthy "fitness" menu for those counting their calories intake or WW points; in addition, some gluten-free/fat free choices too. I ordered the regular breakfast classics and right away noticed that it was prepared with less salt and fats (oil/butter) - yet very tasty. Overall, Paty's is still considered a greasy-spoon in my book, just with more light and healthier food options to choose from off the menu then the average diner.

Went here for breakfast/lunch with my husband. Food wasn't bad just tasted bland. Staff was accommodating and friendly and we were seated immediately upon our arrival. They had a lot of options on their menu however our server made great recommendations.

The service was great. Our waitress was kind and our food came out as ordered however, while we were there we observed a staff member saying that one of his tables called the food disappointing. That is the perfect word to describe it. The menu looks amazing and you watch all of this perfectly plated diner food pass you by but both things we ordered lacked flavor. We got the Rueben and the Firehouse 86 and they were just so boring. On top of that, I couldn't finish my sandwich because the meat was so chewy the whole sandwich would fall apart as you tried to rip the meat to get a clean bite. We won't be returning.

First time ordering here and it was pretty good. Getting closer to thanksgiving I was craving turkey. I ordered Spanish rice. Mashed potatoes with gravy and turkey! My gravy was missing from the order but other then that everything else was fine! The turkey was tender and very tasty. The rice and the potatoes were really good and full of flavor as well

For an old staple of Toluca Lake it just isn't what it used to be. Our server was really nice but everything coming out of the kitchen was lacking an ingredient, lacking in taste and just lacking in general. Such a bummer.

I've given this place a few more tries for lunch, and it's consistently reliable. The food is fresh, and recently my take out orders have been executed much better. Call to order instead of using Yelp if you can, as Chow Now prices are different than in house menu prices. The BLTA is my favorite

I have been here a few times now and decided I should write a review. Patys is a staple in Toluca lake and is beloved for its yummy food and great service. To that end, Brianna, our server, was outstanding. Attentive, sweet and knew the menu well and had excellent suggestions. The entire staff is, and always has been excellent and they clearly value every person who walks through their doors. Will definitely put this in my list of chill places to dine.

Patty's didn't just refresh the paint and interior... the menu is Great! Food is Great! Manager Maria is On It!! Best about our meal was our waiter Mark. He is the best server we have had anywhere. He is so eager to please , friendly and attentive... and an example to what all servers Should be!! Awesome!! Go to Patty's and ask to sit in Mark's section. He makes the experience! God Job Pattys!!
