DJ Pauly D brings a taste of the Jersey Shore with his new virtual subway sandwich restaurant - Eater Vegas

"DJ Pauly D rose to fame on MTV’s Jersey Shore and then became a fixture in the nightclub scene in Las Vegas. Now Pauly DelVecchio has his own line of sub sandwiches created in a ghost kitchen for delivery only. He teamed up with Robert Earl’s Virtual Dining Concepts and GrubHub on Pauly D’s Italian Subs. The virtual restaurant’s online menu offers seven sub sandwiches, including the Italian, turkey pesto, the club, Genoa salami, pork and peppers, spicy capicola, and roast beef. The subs, served on an eight-inch Amoroso roll, come with mayo, shredded iceberg lettuce, onions, mild banana peppers, Italian herbs, and a signature dressing. The menu also includes four salad options, sides including potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, and chips, and cannoli desserts, a Pauly D favorite." - Susan Stapleton

Traveled to Las Vegas to get away from the Rat Race. Last Day before leaving... Found This Place on Random Goog SeArch.. Absolutely Phnemonal Choice... We Had the Jalpeno Avocado philly steak.... Smacked!!!!!! Highly Recommened. Let me give you another nugget. Get The combo The drinks will call you

Nicholas Klein

Google
Excellent service and atmosphere. Pretty good philly cheesesteak! The Original as is with onion reminded me of beef stroganoff. But adding garlic cloves and mayo felt more like a philly. Very meaty and wet in the right kind of way. Bread left a bit to be desired but held up very well. The scoop fries are crispy balloons of magical goodness.

Google
Paulie’s is a legit Philly cheesesteak spot that brings South Street vibes to Vegas! Coming from eating at South Philly Experience in L.A. and Cheesesteak Grillie in Sacramento, I was impressed. The “Original Philly” with sliced ribeye, Cheez Whiz, and onions is juicy and flavorful —almost as good as the Amoroso’s rolls in L.A. It’s more traditional than Grillie’s creative takes but still packs a punch. Only nitpick the onions can be a bit strong, so maybe ask for “lite” if you’re sensitive. Service was awesomely friendly, and with a Philly-themed vibe. Lines get long during peak, so call ahead. A must for cheesesteak fans in Vegas!

Google
When you walk in, there’s a cool vibe with large screen TVs that have the close caption on. A must try would be the jalapeño fries, they are delicious! I also had the California style Philly Cheesesteak…chef’s kiss! Good quality food, now you’re paying for the quality, but it’s worth it! Thank you for this gem of a shop!!

Google
There is only one cook and one cashier working. One order of loaded fries took 30 minutes. Sandwiches were coming out only one at a time. And the loaded fries are supposed to come with roasted garlic, but the garlic wasn't fully cooked. I got loads of just raw garlic cloves in my fries. There was barely any onions, and pork belly was apparently just code for bacon.

Google
As someone who loves a good Ol' Philly cheesesteak, I knew I had to venture out to this spot. The place is very similar to most sandwich shops, offering a very casual and simplistic ambiance. The service was very attentive and thorough which made the experience run pretty smoothly. Since we checked out the menu ahead of time, we knew we were going to order the Whizbang and Mushroom. I tend to prefer cheez whiz steaks above all, but WOW the mushroom one was absolutely divine. The side of fries came out piping hot and also seasoned to perfection. This place does not skimp when it comes to portion size, so the value is definitely worth the try.

Google
Slow but friendly service. Understaffed maybe, but really slow considering the limited menu variety. The flavor of my whiz-bang was above average but nothing mind blowing, the portion size was generous and probably the best part as my sandwich was definitely STUFFED. I took a 25min drive to try this place, glad I did, won’t do it again.

Gerald Mullins

Google
Stopped by here while in Vegas. Great food and service. Would definitely recommend the Whiz Bang version of the original. Excellent.

Yelp
Second or third visit here, I forgot.. anyway, I have this thing for cheese steaks, maybe my Philadelphia heritage. I can eat them any time, any meal but my heart and waistband, I try to limit my gluttony. I've been to the Paulie's in Phila. I actually worked on south street. The steaks there are different, perhaps because of the bread and the sheer volume of steak and onions that the grill there. But anyway, emily took my order, gave me my military first responder discount. I like that Paulies only has one size sandwich, makes it easier. I ordered the cheese whiz "wit" onions. I think about an 8 inch roll, wish it was like a phila. roll and was a bet crunchier and denser. There was a good amount of meat with the onions mixed in and the cheese. Amalagamated in as well. The meat was tender with not too much fat and definitely no gristle. Last time I ate at the store this time it was take out and by the I got home my steak was still warm . A definite asset . I'll be back

Yelp
Warning: they care more about call in orders then me who had been standing there waiting. So, 1st of all: Order Ahead. 2nd of all: Bullethead sent me. 3rd of all: I did eat the food before I began writing this review & it was really good. It's worth the $16 I paid. I got the mushroom with onions. No dijonnaise, no Swiss cheese. I thought the green stuff was bell peppers but it's not it's green onions which I didn't care for. I love cheesesteaks they're my go to meal and although it was a little bit salty I would go back and that's what's most upsetting about my experience is that the service wasn't great. He tried after the fact but honestly a "could you please hold" to the phone call would have been greatly appreciated because I had already been waiting since I was looking at the menu & the other girl there was off cleaning something. The guy who eventually took my order had said he would be right with me while he finished up his side work before I even ordered. (Plus, the phone order was 3 different sandwiches and fries) so, I did have to wait quite awhile to get my food even when there was no one in front of me when I showed up. I will say they're doing something right because for a Saturday afternoon it was getting busy with people coming and going picking up their to go orders.

Yelp
I've never been a huge fan of Philly cheesesteaks, to be honest. But after trying Paulie's South Street Steaks, I'm officially a convert! I decided to try the classic Original and the Mel's Favorite, and both were absolutely incredible. The service was incredibly friendly and efficient, and the sandwiches were served piping hot and overflowing with flavor. The bread was perfectly toasted, and the meat was cooked to perfection. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the ingredients--everything tasted incredibly fresh. I can't wait to bring some of my friends here to experience this amazing spot. If you're looking for an authentic and delicious Philly cheesesteak, Paulie's South Street Steaks is the place to go!

Yelp
This place is OK. Service was nice. Place was clean . I ordered the mushroom steak sandwich very flavorful. It wasn't the most appetizing looking sandwich but the french fries let's talk about that. They were crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside. Well seasoned. I enjoyed them a lot. worth the 20 minute drive.
google avatar

Jennifer Abigail S.

Yelp
Paulie's was a 10/10. The cashier was extremely nice and informative. The restaurant is spacious and clean. The food was so good and fresh and tasty and hot. Next time in Nevada I will make it my priority to come here and try something new. Can't forget to mention the Strawberry Lemonade!! Get this when you go and you wont regret it. We also got "The Original" and "French Dip". I liked "The Original" more bur mainly because I LOVE cheese and it was cheesier. Both delicious and I would def make the drive here if you're in Vegas
google avatar

Karen J.

Yelp
If I could I would give 100 stars! Tried them tonight and the food was outstanding, service was awesome. I ordered the Original, it was huge and over stuffed with meat. The hoagie roll was so tender and suprisingly held all the meat. The meat was so tender, no grissle at all. Pure perfection! My Husband ordered the Philly Fries, holy s#!t they were huge, fresh french fries slathered with meat, cheez wiz and green onions. OMG they are a meal in of themselves and so delicious. We left very satisfied and full! We will be back again and again. If you haven't tried them yet, get there now!

Yelp
Great cheese steak! Got the Italian with lite marinara, just delicious! Am I in south Philly??? Tip/ bring hunger, they big!!! Highly recommended
google avatar

Yelp
If you're looking for a French dip, look no further. Rather than tell you about it, just take a look at my pics. Fantastic sandwich! Highly recommended.

Yelp
Check out Paulie's!!!! Yummy in my tummy! I was in the area and had this place book marked for a minute. The place is clean, upbeat and has a menu on the wall to pick from. I actually opted to go with the recommendation of the young man that was in the register. I am sooooooo glad i did. He suggested something with mushrooms it was so tasty. It had some special sauce . The other one was spicy jalapeños!!!!! The bread here is different. Not sure where it comes from but it is so good. Come check out this spot you will be glad you did!
google avatar

Krista V.

Yelp
We got takeout dinner from here and the subs were packed full and delicious! I got the spicy jalapeño avocado chicken wit onions, amazing! Spouse got the original steak without onions, also amazing. Yum

Yelp
Swung by Paulie's for lunch on a Thursday around noon. It was fairly quiet inside. Got greeted as soon as we walked in and the guy at the counter was patient while we figured out what we wanted. The food did take a little longer than we expected for it to come out, but it looked like there was only two people working so no big deal. I landed on the WhizBang! and added garlic cloves and while it's not pretty, it was phenomenal! We got our food to go and it held up and stayed warm on the 15 minute drive (thanks Vegas heat). The flavor was fantastic, the portion size was spot on.

Yelp
This is the guy from Philly who is still undecided whether this is a go to place for a good Philly Cheese Steak. Love those fries with the cheese and pork belly. Now the sandwich, the bread works, the grilled onions, the White American cheese, mayo, and pickles all made the sandwich. The meat did not sit well with me as it taste like roast beef chopped up like Steak meat. I could not get past that taste of the meat, and I will say it was packed with meat and extra grilled onions just like I wanted. I could have easily given a five star rating, if the meat had the taste of Steak instead of roast beef. At any rate, me being very critical about my cheese steaks I am going to try again, because hands down the roll, cheese, onions, and other condiments with quantity of meat in the sandwiches rivals any Philly Cheese Steak even in Philly. I need to try again to see if the meat taste differently that is the disappointment. When I return I will respond again with my findings.

Yelp
Foooooodddf was soooo goood and very nice customer service and they are very helpful and friendly and they will always be my favorite place

Yelp
Paulie's is a great spot to stop for a cheese steak sandwich, and the quality is excellent. It's in a little strip mall and not much to look at, and once inside it's a simple order at the counter operation. The girl at the counter was very nice and the food came out quickly. I got a mushroom cheese steak sandwich, and it was phenomenal. Absolutely would suggest. Topped with a creamy Dijon mayo, and the flavors were fantastic. I got an order of cheese fries as well, and my main complaint is how drenched they were. Don't get me wrong, I love cheese, but after maybe 5 minutes the fries started getting soggy, so you'd have to absolutely pound these down immediately to avoid that. My only other complaint was the pricing - again, great sandwich, but for two sandwiches and a fry it was almost $50, and for a small place in the middle of nowhere, that just felt a bit extreme. But again, the sandwich was great, I'd suggest it for a quick stop or if you work in the area!

Yelp
Nice sandwich shop with a NY atmosphere.. we found this place while on lunch break and will be back

Yelp
Armed with a Restaurant.com discount coupon courtesy of aol.com perks, Diane and I dined here for the first time. The place was quite clean, and counter service was quick and friendly. I was pleased to receive a metal fork and knife to pick up scraps and be able to avoid messy cheese on my fingers. For our dinner Diane opted for the Wagyu French Dip and Cheese Bomb Tater Kegs, while I had a Steak and Mushroom Cheesesteak with onions and bell peppers added. Cheese and added ketchup inside a large and perfectly soft torpedo-shaped bun filled out my sandwich. The beef was lean and steaming when my cheesesteak arrived at our table. To try something a bit different I also ordered a small side of Wit' Whiz Fries, which were good except for exhibiting Cheese Whiz that had mostly melted away. Some beef in the French Dip was tough. Cheese Bomb Tater Kegs were cheesy and interesting. I will likely be back.

Yelp
I believe this is my third time going to PaulIe's and I finally have my opinion down packed. It actually threw me off a little bit because when you walk in you get the aroma of like onion rings but they don't actually sell onion rings. It's the mozzarella sticks, but it's very addicting. The atmosphere is very Chicago. That's the vibe I get.... -Jalopy fries, in my opinion way too many fries.... Needs more cheese sauce. The pork belly is a little too crispy and the fries need to be a little bit crispier. Love the jalapeños on it because you've got that rich cheese and you need something to cut through the cheese so that spice is needed. Love the caramelized onions also love the green onion too! (I do wish a half order was an option) -California Love, Their actually isn't too much I would change on this sandwich. It's pretty perfect the way it is. I just feel like if there's an up charge for avocado, I should be able to actually see avocado on the sandwich and you can barely see avocado on the sandwich but other than that this is a beautiful sandwich.....bravo.

Yelp
This is not your father's cheese steak. I saw Paulie's when it popped up on Yelp one day. It looked interesting, so I bookmarked it. I went there earlier in the week knowing what I was going to order--the spicy jalapeño avocado cheese steak. I also got an iced tea to go with it. I sat at one of the tables. After a short time, the gentleman who took my order brought a basket with the cheese steak. I thought I ordered fries but they didn't come and i wasn't charged. In a way, I was glad. The cheese steak is very large and very filling. Because of all the toppings--avocado (lots of it), shredded lettuce, and tomatoes--the sandwich was impossible to pick up without dropping some into the paper covering the basket. There was so much topping that it overwhelmed the beef in the sandwich. I ended up finishing the sandwich by using my fingers to pick up the pieces of avaocado and other toppings. I didn't see any plastic ware and I didn't ask. If you go here, my recommendatrion would be to bring one of the small bags you get with takeout that has a fork. Bring that with you and you'll have an easier time eating what falls from the sandwich. This is a distance from where I live so I probably won't make a return visit.

Yelp
The place should be renamed "Saline's" for the amount of salt they put in their food. Took me two days to recover from tasting salt in everything. Service was at an acceptable level. The hard metal seats and not at all comfortable, but the space is nice. All this for a high priced Philly?
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
There are times when a very simple food can completely knock an overly complicated dish out of the water. Paulie's is a great example of that. While a little on the pricier end, the original cheesesteak ($14.44) was all I could ever want at the moment. The caramelized onions were such a hit. They were so sweet, flavorful, and the perfect topping on the cheesesteak. The man taking our order was the best. I was sharing the cheesesteak with my boyfriend and he even thought to ask if we would rather have it cut and plated separately. The place is super casual and open. Definitely eat here if you have a craving for a quality cheesesteak.

Yelp
Located in the Lowe's shopping center, plenty of parking. Nice large menu on the wall, there are no prices located on the menu. Dining area has plenty of self seating 2 and 4 table tops. Majority of tables needed to be wiped down. Cashier wasn't very inviting, he also couldn't hear us ordering after ever item we placed he would say huh!? Maybe the music is too loud for him to hear. He also is wearing his pajamas today and has his sweater wrapped around his waist. I understand it's not a fine dinning establishment but it's a work place. Nothing was stalked either, there was no large lids, no napkins, no soap in the restrooms either. As for food we ordered the Mushroom Cheesesteak with steak and added whole garlic gloves which gave it a nice touch. To be honest I have no idea how much each item cost as the menu/menus don't have the prices for majority of what they serve. The Original with steak and grilled onions, the steak quality was great no gristle and flavor was delicious. I just wanted to say too that on a personal note by the meat quality, flavor and presentation I prefer this cheesesteak house over any other cheesesteak houses here in the Las Vegas area. Cheese Bomb Tater Kegs $8.27 Interesting I thought when they came out. Looks like a tater tot on steroids, nice little crunch on the exterior and cheesy soft inside. They were a tad bit salty I personally like smaller bites because I'm more about that crunchy texture but overall the idea is neat. Note: they didn't have the Bacon Cheddar Chive or the Bacon Jalapeño anymore as the cashier wasn't explaining very well what they had or didn't have. His communication was off and not professional.

D U.

Yelp
Jay S Been there twice since the 17 of Jan 2025. Would definitely be back next week. Hell I cannot even complain about the prices in today's economy. Prices are very fair. Staff is world class along with your business! thank you Don/Maris

Brittany H.

Yelp
Love it. I've been here a few times and I feel like it keeps getting better. We used to live near Paulie's (even watched them open) and now we live farther. It's very much worth the drive. I used to visit Phili every summer and this fulfills that food craving. My favorite is the Original with onion added. My husband likes adding the chopped mushrooms. My dad loves the Hot Spicy Italian. The service is always kind and friendly. I know they used to have Scoops in the same shopping center. While it was icecream, they had incredible soup there. It would be fun if this became an option one day because the clam chowder was out of the world.
google avatar

Bruce S.

Yelp
We're not in Philly, but I'm so thankful that we have a place that can throw down a mean cheese steak right here in Vegas. Amazing menu, friendly staff with great service and plenty of tables so you're not scrambling for a seat. Paulie's is right down the street from us so we plan to eat here often!
google avatar

Steven W.

Yelp
got the wizbang. simply too salty. the meat quality and bread was good but it was a sodium bomb. i'd come back if they dialed back the salt or at least allowed me to control it.
google avatar

Rick B.

Yelp
Excellent Philly Cheese Rib Eye Steak sandwiches. The best in Las Vegas. A little pricey but we'll worth it.
google avatar

Yelp
My taste buds were crying for a cheesesteak which is rare. I only ever get a taste for one every three to four years. When I looked on Yelp this spot kept coming up. The pics looked good and reviews were good. Now I was not in the area at all. I drove from Henderson to this location only to be disappointed and dissatisfied. The flavor was ok. I felt the bread was gummy. I finished 3/4 of one half the other 1/4 of the same half was just bread. I just purchased a sandwich, no drink or fries. A little pricey in my opinion just the sandwich with an up charge for peppers was $12.87. Needless to say I will not be back.

Pamela H.

Yelp
First time here and had the Original. Fantastic. The meat was tender and lean, with cheese, onion and peppers in every bite. Bread is super soft and not too filling. Service was friendly. Will be back for sure!!
google avatar

Tia M.

Yelp
Food was a 7 out of 10 sandwiches, hot fries fresh food however, the staff not so much the guy at the register was not very friendly nor was he helpful or welcoming at the end of the transaction while my hand was out to get my change he place my change on the countertop when the food was done he bought the food out to the table, and what seemed like, threw the food onto the table. To the point where i had to ask him was he ok...
google avatar

Kathy S.

Yelp
The food was made to order super fresh. They also have a keto dish for us who don't eat bread and it was amazing. They had tomato and lettuce and the cheese was perfect on it! I also ordered a kids meal and it was big enough for someone who has a small appetiteand a small drink also super delicious. The service was great. The cashier recommended the kids meal and the ambience was quiet and comfortable. It felt very clean inside.

Yelp
Food was so delicious. Very hard to find a good Philly in Vegas. This is one of the best I've hadwe will be back

Yelp
Paulie's South Street Steaks is a casual Steak Sandwich and Hoagie restaurant. They have two locations in Las Vegas. I went to the West Craig Rd location. I had to come here because I am originally from the Philadelphia Area and I've actually been to South Street a bunch of times. I received a well packed sandwich with lots of meat. It was prepared nicely and really did have very GOOD caramelized onions with tons of flavor. The sandwich was good but didn't take me back to Philadelphia. The biggest difference between an actual Philly Cheesesteak and this one really is the bread. Paulie's gets credit for using a locally made bread but it is very different than an actual roll that they use in Philadelphia. The other difference is in Philadelphia they always offer cherry peppers (hot & sweet). Service was efficient and friendly. The restaurant seemed clean and well kept. The food is good. It just differs from what I've had from Philadelphia.
google avatar

Syrus L.

Yelp
Took me awhile to make it here. I believe they close 3p. Me being on the East side. Unfortunately, for my 1st rendezvous the steak was SUPER salty. I ate it there without mention. Figured the chef had an off moment. However, I believe the greeter/cashier name was Carlos. Pleasant fella. I will be back for another fair chance at this steak.

Naz A.

Yelp
Great food. I have eaten here 3 times now and it always amazes me on the large portions. So bring a friend.
google avatar

Shuk A.

Yelp
Was looking to try something different and something new found Paulie's. It was pretty good from service to food they did a great job. Let's start with finding it first it is a little hard to see driving in, couldn't see the sign it wasn't lit on the main sign outside at night. Inside looks great lots of room to eat there and great interior decorations. Larger Digital menu and big menu too see your options. 3 large screen TVs on one side If you wanted to watch sports or something. So service great crew there very attentive and friendly. You got a good team there they are efficient even on a weekend. Went over the menu with me, recommended some things because it was my first time there. Now to the I got Philly mushroom steak it was pretty good. Meat was good fresh, great mushrooms and cheese. The bacon and cheese tater jumbo tots were really good. I would say sandwich size was decent. Pricing is average about 14 bucks for the sandwich or so but you know what for good ingredients and fresh food it's worth it. It's a little out of my way but might be back here again!!
google avatar

Darius K.

Yelp
Might've been a mistake on my order that day or a transition period as their subs did change a little but I ordered from them yesterday and wow probably the best Philly I've ever had, and they got these potato wedges with pork belly that are fucking retarded. Whoever thought of that deserves a fucking award. Huge portion and ridiculously Fire!!!
google avatar

Mattie C.

Yelp
We tried this spot for lunch and we were so glad that we did! We split the mushroom sandwich and the wiz fries and oh boy they were delicious! Definitely plenty of food and reasonably priced! The staff was so attentive, especially the girl taking orders at the counter, wish I caught her name to mention! We will definitely be back again soon!!
google avatar

Nancy B.

Yelp
Wow. Where to begin. Huge. Like disturbingly large sandwich. So. Much. Meat. And cheese and onion and mushrooms and delicious nasty amazing soft bread. This is not a sandwich, it is a life choice. Get you one. Also, people who work there are very cool and fun. Not an every week kind of thing, but if you need a cheesesteak, here's where to go.

Kirby Bunnell ..

Yelp
Sorry to everyone who loves it..... for me, an east coaster, it was quite meh. ‍ someone had mentioned the thin and quickly soggy bread, yeah totally agree! I asked for hots. They stared at me. Just don't say south street in your name- then the expectation would be lower and more achievable. There was no birch beer, no tastycake..... nothing like home. Giving the 3 stars for decent steak and kind staff.
google avatar

Beverly N.

Yelp
Best Subs Ever!!!! All Ingredients are really fresh! Great Prices in a great part of town.

Eric D.

Yelp
It was very very good! I'll come back again. The food was very yummy and finished it all. I recommend eating there instead of taking it home because cold doesn't get 5 stars but warm absolutely does.
google avatar

Stacy S.

Yelp
Won't return. The food was not fresh and our order was not correct and we had to return one sandwich. Over the phone they made us feel like we lied about our sandwich. When I showed up they realized they messed up. I'm good no thanks.

Alexis S.

Yelp
Excellent quality cheesesteaks. Good and focused menu. Very tasty. Friendly staff. Quick service.

Joe R.

Yelp
I came back here like a dummy. Unless you are putting a rubeye on it and calling it premium, then it's just baseline meat. $20 bucks for a sandwich, shame on your. Can't still blame inflation. Places like this should be in cali..... never again will I be getting ripped off from this place. If you like baseline sandwiches you can get from Albertsons for $20 then this is the place for you.
google avatar

Abby M.

Yelp
Food and service amazing!!! Hot and spicy Italian grinder, everything very fresh, bread so soft. Jalopy fries, fries were cut into little potato cups to capture all of the goodness. Staff, so nice restaurant very clean!
google avatar

Isabella D.

Yelp
So happy my husband found this place! He said customer service was 10/10 and he got a classic steak with peppers and onions. He was only able to finish 1/2 and brought the left overs home for me to try. I also agree it's 10/10 and that's hours later. Definitely will be back!

Lauryn M.

Yelp
Listen...Paulie, Those kids you got in there on W. Craig Rd. are representing you with honor and pride. I was craving a decent cheese steak and got exactly what I wanted. Quick at that. I'm sure they're not getting paid much of nothing so if you can slide em a few extra bucks under the table because they really do deserve it. And those fries are damn good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Michael E.

Yelp
Wife and I shared a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and the Philly Fries. Plenty for 2 people. Can't wait to go back. Definitely worth visiting.
google avatar

Chad H.

Yelp
I'll start with one word, AMAZING! The food and service here are top shelf. The place is clean with a relaxed vibe. It was our first trip to Paulie's and Francisco took time to tell us a bit about their menu and make suggestions. I had the Spicy Jalapeño Avocado and my wife had the Original. We share an order of Scoop Fries. ALL WERE DELICIOUS! As I said it was our first trip to Paulie's but it will it will not be our last!!
