Here is another place you can say is cute inside and has a cozy feeling. It wasn't the place we intended to go, but we're glad it became it. Penny's Noodle Shop of course says what their specialty is right there. Anyone not knowing what to get should try noodles of course. The prices aren't bad for the amount that comes in the bowls or on plates.
Being the first time here, we went with the obvious choice. It was of course recommended to get something with noodles. There was a good amount to choose from though. It was hard at first. There's a lot to choose from, which is surprising because this is a small place so there's limited space. I had the Vegetarian Bowl. It's about $10 for a bowl full of vegetables and protein. This came with bean sprouts, carrots, cilantro, green onions, lettuce, lime, peanuts, red cabbage, thin rice noodles, and tofu. It had a mild spice. She had the Hot Pepper Noodle with tofu. It had quite a spice to it. There was lots more to choose from, but that had to wait for later.
Good place for Asian food. It's under the Brown Line tracks so you have the trains rumble over the place every now and then, but you'll get used to it. The place is pretty small, but there's a humongous amount of choices, including many for vegans and vegetarians.
