"Yannick Alléno's place among the pantheon of great French chefs is assured, and the Four Seasons in Mayfair was the chosen venue for his first foray into the UK’s dining scene. It’s a smart, spacious dining room, with lots of natural light and a focus on comfort – the large open kitchen, which is led by Chef Benjamin Ferra Y Castell, is skirted by a luxurious counter for those wanting a close-up view. The food is underscored by classic French recipes, but influences can range from Italy to North Africa to Japan. Ingredients are naturally from the luxury side of the ledger and set menus are the best way to go." - Michelin Inspector

Pavyllon - Review - Mayfair - London - The Infatuation

"Pavyllon feels like an accessory for people who are more concerned with being seen eating here, rather than actually eating here. But that’s par for the course for a fine dining restaurant inside Mayfair’s Four Seasons Hotel. There’s the awkward squat-shuffle dance as seats are tucked in. And small baskets made of cheese are presented with the air of a rare gift. Despite the crowd being try-hard, the food is not. Plates of modern European dishes come out with the choreographed precision of a beauty pageant parade, and look as good as they taste. photo credit: Pavyllon photo credit: Pavyllon There are some eye-roll inducing moments—“would you like me to explain the prawn cocktail to you?”—and lots of  ‘takes’ on things, but these are tasty rather than tortured. A highlight is the stroganoff, with fragrant rice soaking up the sauce from a fillet of beef so soft it can be nudged apart with a spoon, and a scattering of match-thin, crispy potatoes on top. Getting a seat at the counter is the best way to experience Pavyllon. You’ll be sitting with people schmoozing clients and putting champagne on the company card, but it overlooks the pristine kitchen which feels buzzy compared with the dining room. Although nothing can stop Pavyllon from feeling like it’s somewhere you go for the kudos of snagging a table, rather than the delicious dishes themselves." - Sinéad Cranna

A Perfect Lunch at Pavyllon London Had an absolutely perfect lunch experience at Pavyllon London. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable - warm, attentive and genuinely thoughtful without being overbearing. Every member of the team made us feel completely looked after. The food was outstanding - beautifully presented, full of flavour, and perfectly balanced. Each course was refined yet comforting, showcasing incredible technique and top-quality ingredients. The atmosphere was elegant but relaxed, making it the perfect setting for a leisurely lunch. It's rare to find a place that gets everything right - food, service, and ambience - but Pavyllon London truly delivered on all fronts. Can't wait to return!

Absolutely brilliant food. Very well worth a Michelin star. The staff super attentive and lovely! Food had a great level of depth, with amazing flavour. I definitely recommend sitting at the counter. Some places had very awkward and small cramped counter seating. Pavyllon’s counter seating is spacious, comfortable and a great overall experience! Dining room is beautiful!! Will be returning!

My experience at Pavyllon was truly exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The cocktails were expertly crafted, setting the tone for an evening of culinary delights. The starters were a work of art, each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The mains were cooked to perfection, with each bite a symphony of taste and texture. And the chocolate souffle for dessert was simply heavenly. But what truly stood out to me was the impeccable service provided by Rob and the rest of the wait staff. Rob's attention to detail and his warm personality made our dining experience even more memorable. He took the time to explain each dish and made sure that we were comfortable and satisfied throughout the evening. Overall, I cannot recommend Pavyllon enough. From the delicious food to the top-notch service, this Michelin rated restaurant truly exceeded all of my expectations. It is a must-visit for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in London.

There’s only a few places that live up to the fancy videos you see online and boy these guys did not disappoint. We tried the Turkish Eggs, Croast and Japanese Orange Pancake. I also enjoyed the coffee, it was smooth and complimented the dishes!

Every single dish was a piece of art – beautifully plated, perfectly balanced, and full of flavour. From the delicate textures to the creative presentations, everything felt meticulously crafted. Special thanks to sommelier Ricardo, who made the wine pairing truly memorable. His knowledge, warmth, and attentiveness elevated the entire evening. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere elegant yet welcoming, and the attention to detail – flawless. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates refined, modern French cuisine in the heart of London. We’ll definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stopped in for lunch at Pavyllon London and had an amazing time at the chefs counter! Chef Benjamin took time to explain dishes to us which really made the experience. The food was outstanding and I would like to go back for dinner service. Some of the servers weren't the warmest would be my only critique. The restaurant wasn't overly concerned with a dress code which was nice. Overall a great experience!

First I would like to say that the staff is flawless, I've been a chef for 35 years and the entirety of the front end staff was on point. I'm sorry I don't know her name, I should have asked her her name just for this review but she was from Guatemala so that probably narrows it down a bit. But she was amazing, she was helpful and nice and knowledgeable about the menue items and was always there for us and other customers, im sorry I notice these things its a force of habit I watch kitchen staff and management, runners, and expeditors and hosts lol. Anyway everyone was great. The funny thing was when the chef showed up, everyone got louder and more regimented which was fun but unnecessary because they were already very professional. Now onto the food, the food was delightful each place a masterpiece perfectly executed and perfectly seasoned, the coquillette was creamy with deep layered flavors with the rich fatty bone marrow finished with Oscietra caviar was so amazing, the steamed comte cheese souffle was a rich fluffy cloud of magic. The crispy sweetbreads and the lake district pork chop were both a triumph of complex flavors our only problem with the dinner was that we were so stuffed that we couldn't eat anymore because we also had caviar to start with, im not saying we didn't eat desert but we waddled out to our taxi and layed in our hotel room in euphoric delight. So basically, amazing experience amazing staff amazing dinner and met the chef as well, but again our wonderful server was the best part and that is so important for the first experience when coming to a restaurant because the host and server set the tone for the experience and she most certainly did. Well done everyone at Pavyllon!

An excellent lunch at Michelin starred Pavyllon London. Chef Yannick Alleno has 15 stars including a three star restaurant in Paris. Great, innovative food, friendly and informative service and it was nice to see the buzzy dining room reasonably full despite the tube strike. £55 for 3 courses (two side dishes, canapés, bread, petit fours included; we added a cheese course) is an absolute steal for cooking of this high standard. Worth a look for a ‘treat’ lunch. We will most definitely be back very soon, it was that impressive.
