The New Atlanta Restaurant Openings You Should Know About

"This Thai spot takes over the former Redbird space in West Midtown. The menu is filled with classics like pad thai, pad see ew, and thom ka coconut." - juli horsford, jacinta howard

Paya Thai is a low-key hangout with a decent Thai menu - Review - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Despite its presence in the always-popping Westside Provisions District, Paya Thai is never packed. So the space—with its warm wood, giant orchids, and special attention to symmetrical decor—starts to feel more like a gallery than an actual restaurant. And the thinner crowds here have more to do with its tucked-away location (you can’t see it from the street) than anything about eating here. The Thai food is decent. And those who’ve had a sip of their creamy thom kha coconut soup and bites of the veggie-heavy pad woon sen are happy to keep this place as a low-key hangout or an IYKYK spot to impress a date. Food Rundown video credit: Juli Horsford Seared Scallop Though the panang curry sauce is excellent, you only get two scallops. And the scallops are rubbery and chewy—not even the salmon roe and caviar on top can save this appetizer. video credit: Juli Horsford Fried Tofu Even if you're not a big tofu fan, order this. The little tofu triangles are lightly fried, fluffy and moist on the inside, and come with a tasty peanut dipping sauce. Thom Ka Coconut The thick, creamy soup has a strong coconut flavor that works well with the mini mushrooms and chunks of chicken. It’s a solid take on a classic Thai dish. Chicken Larb Salad Ground chicken, spicy thai chili, chopped red onion, cilantro, and a massive amount of mint covered in a zesty lime vinaigrette make this a refreshing salad. It’s no showstopper, but it’s worth an order. Yellow Curry If you can’t handle spicy food, this is the curry for you. We can only describe this bowl of warm potatoes, peppers, and onions with your choice of protein (chicken works well) as extremely pleasant. video credit: Juli Horsford Crying Tiger Thin strips of steak are served on a sizzling hot plate with onions. But the steak is a little too fatty and lacks that signature spicy kick that crying tiger should have." - Juli Horsford

Atlanta Restaurant Openings October - Eater Atlanta

"The former Redbird space in Westside Provisions District in West Midtown now houses Paya Thai, opening on October 8. The restaurant comes from Alex Kinjo, who owns MF Sushi, Yakitori Kona, and Kinjo Room, and the team behind Osha Thai Sushi Galleria. The restaurant will be walk-in only for the first month, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution." - Henna Bakshi

First time trying this place, and overall it was a good experience! The ambiance is lovely and welcoming. • Papaya salad: Tasted great, but the portion was quite small. • Penang curry: Authentic and flavorful — definitely a highlight. • Spring rolls: Just okay; could’ve been better if cooked a bit longer. • Basil fried rice with shrimp: Really tasty and well-balanced. • Thai tea: Spot on! Perfect amount of ice and just the right sweetness.

The must in Atlanta !! Beautiful atmosphere, amazing food, and lovely staff! The place feels cozy and welcoming. Every dish tasted just like in Thailand.full of authentic flavor. The staff were so kind and attentive. Truly a wonderful Thai dining experience in Atlanta! I will be back for sure !!

Decent Thai restaurant with reasonable but not the most flavorful dishes. We had the green curry, grilled salmon with vegetables and panang curry sauce, and papaya salad. The salad was the best, though it was a bit overly sweet. The value proposition is not good as the portions were all smaller than it should be for the giving price. While service was provided with smiles and often, it seemed a bit overly aggressive to increase revvenue, all around. Anyway, I will likely choose to try other Thai restaurants rather than this one.

I came to US with my family after 2 weeks i missed Thai foods so much, so I decided to give this place a try! The foods here were very authentic, I genuinely recommend this place! Probably the best Thai food in Atlanta!! 🙏🏻 Also If you wanna try sour and savory Thai food, I recommend Papaya Salad! 🥗

Surprisingly, even on a Friday evening, the place had a few open tables. The setting is beautiful, though they weren’t quite able to decide on the light temperature- it kept abruptly switching from extremely bright to moody! The spring rolls were bland and seem to have been refried! The drunken noodles were tasty, but clumpy. As for the location, it is somewhat hidden. A larger directional sign outside will help.

The atmosphere was calm but electric with an awesome electric blend of music. Our team ordered several appetizers which included coconut soup, crisp calamari, chicken kabobs, scallops. The soup was ridiculously delicious and creamy. All entrees ordered was very tasty however; the main shout out for me was the Short Ribs ..OMG. The entree was off the Richter scale. To compliment our dinner we were presented with coconut cream cake that was so light and delicious along with Thai crème brûlée. It was almost like a delicious cloud entering my mouth. Overall our team agreed the food came out in a timely manner which all were fresh, hot, overall good portions and delicious. Portions - 9/10 (appetizers (9) entrees (10) Presentation - 11/10 Ridiculously beautiful Price - 8.5 /10 Reasonable for restaurant location Taste 11/10 (almost too pretty to eat)

This was my first visit and I have to say this is the best Thai food! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, very elegant interior with subtle Thai decor that made the experience feel authentic without being overwhelming. I’ll definitely come again!!

We were at the very last night of service before Zeb Stevenson’s Redbird (sadly) closed in Feb 2023 so it was an odd coincidence to be seated at the same table we last ate at in the new Paya Thai Kitchen now occupying the same beautiful space. Having consumed my fair share of Thai food both locally & abroad, I’m going to diverge from previous reviews & say that this was a pretty average meal. Not bad by any means, just not excellent. I was expecting elevated flavors, techniques, & a bit more creativity but it’s pretty straightforward Classic Thai. While the service was excellent, the time it took for the main courses to arrive was pretty slow considering it was a Tuesday night with only a handful of other patrons & 3 people working the line in the kitchen. Overall, the impression I left with is it’s not destination-worthy (especially given they do not validate parking) but worth a revisit perhaps if I’m in the area & craving Thai.

Yelp
Parking: Westside Provisions District: $6.50 for 2-4 Hours Professional Thai Chefs from Thailand. I was so impressed, definitely a 5-Star Experience for a romantic date. We tried the Crab Curry Vermicelli, Pad Thai Wings, Chicken Larb Salad, Seafood Hot Pot, Pad Thai Noodles, Lobster Pineapple Fried Rice, Coconut Cake and Mango Sticky Rice. My personal fav: Seafood hotpot, Pad Thai Wings, Chicken Pad Thai, Lobster Pineapple Fried Rice, Coconut Cake and Sticky Mango Rice. Seriously, the best I've ever had! Proffesional Bartender: Khun Ying's Martini (purple) Mae Khwan's Cosmo (red), Dichan (Green) and Tâan Khun's Vesper (smoke). My favorite the Dichan, so tasty I want a second drink. Looking for the ultimate date night spot in Atlanta? Paya Thai Kitchen is a hidden gem serving the BEST Pad Thai and Lobster Pineapple Fried Rice--so fresh, flavorful, and packed with authentic Thai taste. The cocktails are just as impressive, with stunning presentations that make every sip feel special. Add in the romantic ambiance, and you've got the perfect spot to impress your date while enjoying truly authentic flavors that hit different.

Yelp
This is by far one of the best meals i've eaten in a really long time. I spent around $130 and I felt great about it. I've been craving Thai food so when I came across this place as I was walking to Jeni's I knew I had to come back and check them out. Well that's exactly what I did not even a week later. I brought my mom here on Memorial Day to celebrate my last day of freedom before I had to return to work the next day. We didn't have a reservation but, we still were able to be seated without any issues. At first glance I thought the restaurant was beautiful, it smelled nice, and I loved the jazz music they were playing. It really tied everything together. We started off with the Thom Ka Coconut Soup (not pictured) and the Shrimp Jeeb. For our entrees we received the Shrimp Pad See Ew and the Tofu Spicy Eggplant (not pictured). I got the Thai Tea (not pictured) to drink while my mom enjoyed some hot Jasmine Tea (not pictured). For dessert I went a little crazy and ordered every one available. I got the Thai Tea Creme Brulee. It was absolutely divine! My mom got a slice of their coconut cake which she enjoyed. I got the Mango Sticky Rice to-go. I completely devoured the sticky rice as soon as I got home. It didn't stand a chance. It was probably the best sticky rice i've ever had. I'll come back to this restaurant for the sticky rice alone. I can't wait to come back and check out other items on the menu.

Yelp
We came on a Monday night for dinner and there was no wait. The staff was very nice and attended to us whenever we had questions or needed anything. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. All the meats were cooked very well and the dishes that had curry were super yummy. I would say the Thai tea crème brûlée was my favorite! If you come on Monday nights, they have 50% off on bottled wines so if you came with a group of friends, this is a perfect thing to order!

Yelp
We had an excellent server who was very kind and attentive. They have some interesting cocktails made with pandan leaves and red onions. Pandan leaf cocktails are getting pretty popular but not red onions! The red onion was an excellent cocktail for those of you that do not like sweet and might enjoy something that has a similar taste to a ginger cocktail (fresh ginger. Not that candy-like ginger you would get in a soda). The cocktails are definitely not strong and I doubt that even 5 or 6 would have gotten me drunk (I am not an alcoholic) but if you like to taste cocktails for fun this would be a nice experience. The food was very delicious. They make the food a comfortable level of spicy with "Thai hot" and will give you fresh bird chili on the side if you want more spice. Portion sizes are a little bit small in my opinion. Prices are comparable to other Thai places closer to the city of Atlanta versus a Thai restaurant in Jimmy Carter Blvd. Unfortunately I do not remember all of the names of everything we ordered but everything looked and tasted delicious. The mango with sticky rice comes with the butterfly pea rice that makes it blue. There is only one other Thai place that I know that does that so I am glad to have found another. The Thai tea crème brûlée was my favorite dessert as it has a strong tea taste. I would definitely come back here again.

Yelp
My mom absolutely loves this place -- and now I get why! It's a great little spot in a nice location Their desserts are so good -- honestly, even better than Jeni's in my opinion. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care.

Yelp
Paya was very good. If you are in the area visiting other local spots or shopping this seems a good place to stop, especially without a reservation (as many of the other restaurants here require one). The calamari was good, but I LOVED the fried jalapenos that came with it and wish that was its own dish! The pad kee mao was not the most flavorful but with some added chiles was pretty good. My husband had the beef with black pepper and garlic and that was super yummy! Coconut cake was also very good. Service was excellent. Including bar staff who were very friendly! I did notice that I think (not sure) that there was a whole back section of the restaurant and it seemed like they were sitting people in the front section, right up next to each other. II would rather not be right up next to other guests if there is a whole other section available. They also have a cute outdoor area so if it's nice out that would be perfect. Of note cocktails were almost 20$ (16-18 each) we got a beer each, and Sapporo were $8 if you're a beer drinker for reference. Overall 4 stars because the service was excellent! If you're in the area and in the mood for Thai, definitely worth it if you've already paid for parking

Yelp
My friend and I decided to try Paya Thai for dinner. The restaurant had an intimate, cozy ambiance, and I liked the minimal, yet classy décor. The service was excellent. Our waitress was friendly, accommodating, and attentive without being intrusive throughout our dinner. For my drink, I had the Thai Iced Tea, which was creamy and not overly sweet. For appetizers, we ordered two soups: the Tom Yum Lemongrass Soup ($10) and the Tom Kha Coconut Soup ($10). They both were delicious! The Tom Yum had a citrusy kick with just the right amount of tang, while the Tom Kha was creamy and fragrant, with a coconut undertone. For my entrée, I had the Chicken Basil Fried Rice ($22), which was unfortunately underwhelming compared to other versions I've had. The ingredients were fresh, but the dish lacked the bold flavors I expected, and despite requesting it to be spicy, it arrived with little heat. While the Basil Fried Rice didn't hit the mark, everything else was enjoyable, and I'd return to try more from their menu.

Yelp
We dined at Paya for a 7pm Friday night dinner reservation. Ambiance: Pro - decor and design is beautiful! Con - seating layout lacks intimacy. There's a long booth style bench in the middle of the restaurant with tables aligned fairly close to one another. I could hear the conversations of the people seated on either side. Food: 4 out of 5 Branzino - first time having the dish. It was flavorful...and the fish was tender and fresh. Great option. WOW factor! Massaman Curry - tasted like the $15 version I order for pick up up the street. Good amount of cashews...needed more spices. No wow factor. Service: 3 out of 5. Con: The restaurant seems understaffed. It took a while for the hostess to greet and seat us. Ordered their version of a espresso martini with our initial drink order. The drink didn't come until we were finishing up our meal. (The waitress said the bar was short staffed) Pro: despite being busy, the waitress was very nice, provided suggestions, and didn't rush the experience. I'd come again for sure just maybe not for an intimate date night vibe.

Yelp
this place is a gem! i could eat here once a week. we sat outside and they have dividers to block the sun. the inside was gorgeous. the staff was friendly if maybe a slow. the scallop appetizer was a highlight. the crab vermicelli was to die for. the spring rolls were crisp and the coconut cake will not soon be forgotten.

Yelp
Paya Thai far exceeded my expectations from the interior decor, ambiance to plating and food/drinks. You would never guess such a beautiful restaurant lies within Westside Provisions. The server and manager were professional, attentive, and so knowledgeable in helping us pick our food and drink options. I was most intrigued by the drink menu - mostly the Vesper (has Tom Yum syrup) and Pandan Milk Tea (made with coconut milk). For the Vesper, I really didn't taste much of the Tom Yum syrup, but the texture was a bit thicker. A little disappointed but the drink itself was made well. However, I LOVED the Pandan Milk Tea! Growing up, my grandmother made a lot of sweets/pastries with pandan and this took me back to my childhood. I highly recommend for everyone to try this one! For food: A friend and I split the Hot Pot Tom Tum which came in a beautifully decorated blue & gold pot. It was perfect for a cold winter night, and tasted like it was made with such care. (Don't forget a side of rice!)We were so glad that we picked this option. The other dishes were also delicious, but I will need to come back to update what they picked. Lastly, the coconut cake was actually the star of the dinner. Our waitress let us know it is made with a Thai dessert recipe and I had to fight the urge to lick the plate. You MUST try this dessert! Safe to say, I'll be back!

Yelp
The West End was kissing a great upscale Thai place and now we finally have one! Paya just opened, so it wasn't busy at all. We opted for outdoor seating since it was beautiful outside. The service was excellent - very attentive and great suggestions from the menu. I was having trouble choosing between 3 different things - everything looked delicious. The Basil Fried rice was well seasoned and with seafood you get a great amount of seafood. Noodles on the Pad Kee Mao was some of the best I've had. The Glass Noodle Salad was refreshing and comes with a great amount of seafood as well. We also got a Thai Tea. It was the perfect balance of sweet. One piece of feedback: The overall portions of everything are on the smaller side, especially for the price. I will definitely be back to try the Bronzino!

Yelp
I love it when I discover another great Thai restaurant! Service was quick and attentive. Every dish we tried was authentic & made with care: -Calamari- tasty, paired with fried jalapeños to give it at unexpected kick for those who love spice! -Short rib -my fave! Savory dish yet also light. Paired well with mashed potatoes, which perfectly sopped up all the spices from the 6hr braised ribs. High quality meat. Well worth the price! I would order this entree again should I have (another) big appetite! -Crab fried rice -fresh, well seasoned, and made with real crab! -Thai tea-can't go wrong. Good balance to our meals without being overly sweet. Definitely worth a revisit. Next time I'm bringing a group & sitting in one of their gorgeous yet comfy booths! Paya Thai is the newest, and yet, they have come to stay! Welcome to the A!

Yelp
I went to Paya for dinner to catch up with a friend. I was blown away by how gorgeous this restaurant is! The decor is just stunning. The food is great, too, although be prepared for a higher price point. I had the pad see eu with beef and I loved it. My dining companion had the chicken khao soi and said it was wonderful. We ended our meal with Thai tea creme brulee--yum! I will definitely return for the food, but need to call out the fact that you have to pay for parking at this shopping center now and the restaurant doesn't provide a validation, which I absolutely hate. Y'all should take care of parking for your clients!

Charles W.

Yelp
Excellent Thai food and service. Very authentic as if you were in Thailand. Will be my go to whenever I visit Atlanta

Yelp
So let's be honest, any restaurant coming behind RedBird had some BIG shoes to fill. Well I can say without a shadow of a doubt Paya Thai is definitely a restaurant that is taking shape to the Howell Mill area! I walk in and the ambiance is great, music is absolutely a vibe, and the staff is so welcoming. I start off with the fried calamari and it was fresh and filling. My next meal is the vegetable Curry with Jasmine Rice. It was absolutely phenomenal. The curry was creamy, sweet, and the tender. It was so good, im considering driving back tonight for dinner. And I'm dead serious! lol Welcome Paya Thai to the Howell Mill area and here's to an exciting 2025 for you!

Yelp
I was so excited to try this Thai restaurant that just opened in the West Midtown area. I absolutely love Thai food. First impressions - very pleasant hosts, beautiful fragrance throughout the restaurant, very nice decor and Thai art on the walls. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The food I would give 6.5/10, here's why... the cocktail selection seemed limited to me. I wouldn't say this would be a great place to sit and have drinks and apps at the bar. Not much of a wine selection either. The sauce that came with the calamari was really good. I also enjoyed that the calamari was crispy and not soggy. The crab fried rice was bland - we did ask for sweet chili sauce, which helped. The pannang curry was ok - the sauce was flavored well. The chicken was white meat and a bit dry in my opinion. The veggies in the dish were super crispy. We will go back and try other menu items!

Yelp
Perhaps the best Thai restaurant in Intown Atlanta. Pad see u, pad Thai, green curry and spring rolls were all very, very good. Very nice atmosphere too, especially the outdoor seating and we enjoyed the attentive service as well. Prices are slightly above average for Thai in Atlanta but very good value considering the quality food and elegant, comfortable atmosphere.

Yelp
-The natural light that seeps through the bottles in the window, carefully placed in their array, paired with the warmth of color scheme, and a softly under lit bar has you wishing to stay seated a little while longer. Paya Thai succeeds in cultivating an environment that has all the right finishing touches. -The hospitality, love and attention our host and server, Ploy, provided us was exceptional! She made our dining experience so personal by her kind smile and willingness to converse! Every time she stopped by our table, it wasn't due to routine but the pure desire to ensure our happiness! Her positive presence and smile is contagious, only aiding in the many reasons to return! -The food that was selected began with the refreshing and crunchy Shrimp basil rolls that were like perfectly portioned salads without the mess! The Tom Kha Hotpot came in such a beautiful ornate dish, presenting a creamy, hot, soup that made us forget of the frigid winter air that awaited outside for us. But the coconut cake was simply the most crucial, and unforgettable dish as it was as light as a wispy summer cloud. Every spoonful yielded itself to melting onto your tongue, with a solid touch of fruit to bring us back to Earth. The Thai tea to take home with us is the signature beverage that should be made standard with every visit, it keeps the Thai experience going even once you leave. This will hopefully become your go to Thai place as it has most certainly become for me!

Yelp
Food was delicious, service was good and the ambiance was great. Massaman needs more sauce though.

Yelp
We went here on a whim with no expectations and were so excited to have found such a great spot! Food and ambiance were top notch. Our group got the Chicken Kao Soi, Green Curry, Chicken Satay, Basil Fried Rice, Pad See Ew and Tom Kha Coconut. We also ordered Thai Tea's. Out of those things, the only thing I wouldn't order again is the Chicken Satay. Everything else was lick-the-plate-clean delicious. Thai Tea's were PERFECTLY balanced, I was addicted. And we were all trying to get the last bits of the soup. The only thing to be mindful of is that portions are pretty small I look forward to another visit soon!!

Yelp
The entire experience. The food was top notch and the service, wow! The ambiance and lighting was so warm and inviting. Also got to to meet the owner , he is so incredibly warm and welcoming. Bring your entire family here. Well worth it! Will be back!

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic food and drinks. Design of restaurant is impeccable which only adds to the great ambiance. Service is excellent, fast, and kind. Will be coming back.

Yelp
The food is great The service is great The ambiance is beautiful No complaints You have to pay for parking Depending on your entree you can choose the level of spicy
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Great food and service here! I understand how some complain a little about portion size. If you split an appetizer and get your own entree you should be satisfied. Food has great flavor and quality and you can get a side of chilli powder if it's not spicy enough. Also the drinks were very tasty. My one critique is that the chicken was a bit dry on the kaoh soi We will definitely be back

Shanice W.

Yelp
I ordered the salmon panang but was accidentally given chicken. I didn't realize until after I'd eaten it, and I don't eat chicken, so I was pretty disappointed, especially considering the bowl was $23. When I brought it up, the owner offered to accommodate me, which I appreciated. I initially accepted a Thai tea, then asked about dessert and said I'd actually prefer the Thai crème brûlée. He went to the back, then came out to say it couldn't be taken to go because of how it's made. I asked what my options were, and when I finally chose the coconut cake, I was told I had to choose between that or the tea. I didn't feel like I was being unreasonable, I was just accepting the help that was offered. But instead of feeling cared for as a customer, I felt like I was being subtly punished for speaking up. The wildest part? The coconut cake was bomb. And the Thai tea would've paired with it perfectly. But the whole interaction turned what could've been a lovely moment into an awkward one. The food was okay, and the staff was polite, but the hospitality? Not so much. If you're going to offer to make something right, don't do it begrudgingly.
google avatar

Dixie E.

Yelp
An absolute gem of a restaurant! It's beautifully decorated, nice music and the staff is very welcoming. Ploy took excellent care of me! I ordered shrimp in a blanket and the papaya salad. Both were delicious! Will be back!
google avatar

Mike H.

Yelp
Pad thai was great! Took a little while to come out but the nice atmosphere made the wait seem short. Mixed drinks were pretty good too and exotic. Nice staff as well.
google avatar

Lauren S.

Yelp
Great new Thai spot in the old Redbird spot. Friendly staff. Basil rolls were fresh and full of basil (maybe a bit too much) & sauce was flavorful. Soup was light and creamy - I'll go for a bit spicier next time. Crab rice had chunks of crab! We also got the king mushroom skewers and the sauce that came with it gave the rice a nice kick.

J G.

Yelp
Shrimp dumplings were hand crafted and amazing! Fried spring rolls SAME..!! Had the woon sen for my entree, spicy and perfect. Ask for Smiley as your personal Thai Guide..!! Super knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

Sarah B.

Yelp
This was our first time here. We had a terrible experience. First off, even though the restaurant was empty they sat us at a narrow table right next to another couple. We had to ask to move because it was like we were having a double date. No space or privacy at all. Why would they seat us there? I'm not sure. I ordered the Pad Thai, and what I got was only about a quarter of a plate of food, and the noodles were soggy, tofu overcooked, not to mention it wasn't even warm. It was just disappointing overall. The papaya salad was way too spicy--borderline inedible. Also a tiny portion. Definitely not coming back. They were nice enough to comp part of our meal, but would not recommend this place to anyone looking for decent Thai food.
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
Service was excellent. Ambience was very nice, music may have been slightly over-volumed, but no big deal. Good beer and drink selection. Food was excellent. Very authentic taste and presentation. Would definitely recommend and come back! Great lunch.
google avatar

Alyssa S.

Yelp
Very cozy and classy ambiance, restaurant is on the smaller side so I felt well taken care of by my waiter. Best Massaman Curry I've had and I would go back for it. I got the Cosmo off the cocktail menu and it was great!

Rusty Z.

Yelp
Came for the basil rolls, stayed for the Penang salmon. Amazing! All of it. Service was impeccable. Ambiance and patio wonderful. But the salmon was delightful. I'm very picky. I don't even know how they achieved a perfect crispy outside and tender inside. Vegetables were crisp and fresh and the sauce was perfection. Best Thai I've had in many years.

Nicole B.

Yelp
Lovely experience dining here! The food is beautifully plated and so delicious. The cocktails are beautiful and delicious as well! Lauren, our server made the experience much more awesome. She's very attentive and has a great attitude. Recognize this server she's phenomenal! Aside from the great food, drinks and atmosphere I'll be going back here just to have her as my server again.
google avatar

Kyndra M.

Yelp
I had a great experience. The service was very attentive from the moment I walked in. I ordered the veggie spring rolls as an appetizer. They were pretty good but I will likely try a different small plate next time. For my entree I had the beef panang curry which was delicious, especially the curry sauce.
google avatar

Brad G.

Yelp
This was our first time trying Paya and we were very happy with the experience. The highlight was the salmon panang which was amazing. Great service too. We will be coming back again for sure.

Michelle M.

Yelp
Second trip to Paya Thai - everything was delicious and our server Ploy took great care of us! We'll be back.

Joseph L.

Yelp
Celebrated a birthday here, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the calamari, seared scallops, Tom Ka Coconut Soup, crab fried rice, and the brisket chef special--all of which were bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared. The service was top-notch, with our server being attentive and friendly throughout the evening. Julien, the host, went above and beyond to make the night special, surprising us with a complimentary birthday treat that added the perfect touch. It was a memorable celebration, and I can't wait to return for another amazing dining experience!

David G.

Yelp
A new Thai restaurant for us after shopping at IKEA on a Saturday afternoon. Our friendly hostess was Ploy originally from Bangkok who very politely guided us thru the menu. The number of food selections were not overwhelming as we have experienced in some other Thai restaurants. The two food items we chose and shown in the accompanying photos were delicious. There is something on the menu for everyone here. The decor was great and with the mandatory pictures of elephants in Thailand. The restaurant's location was not the easiest to find on a first-time trip to this new "food collective" (my term) of varying upscale restaurants (not a food hall as some may be known). Sawadee krap

Yelp
Had a wonderful time dining at Paya. The staff were friendly, and speedy. The cocktails were tasty and the food was to die for (11/10, would go again). For an app we got the veggie spring roles (2 roles, cut in half) that was delightful. For the entree we got the basil fried rice with chicken and the pad Thai. The basil fried rice was marked as spicy, but even as someone who grew up in the Midwest could still handle and loved!

Yelp
Great location! The ambiance was really good and so was the food. The spring rolls were good and my meal was good as well. I can't give it 4.5 stars, that's what it deserves.

Yelp
The food was fine, but for the cost it was not enough. The service was not great, it was not packed in the restaurant either. For reference we had Thom Kha hot pot, Summer Rolls, and Kra Prow Basil.

Yelp
Amazing food, staff, and beautiful decor!! The coconut soup is phenomenal and the glass noodles with veggies doesn't get much better. 4th visit since it opened!

Yelp
Outstanding experience! Truth be told, we were heading to other restaurants in the area but they had long waits. We ended up at the bar at Paya and will make this our destination spot moving forward on the Westside! Incredible drinks and food, friendly service and fun atmosphere.

Yelp
Big fan. I originally heard about this place from Osha Thai, who had recommended that I try it out. The dining experience was great and so was the service. The menu is chef curated so you can expect a lot of thought went into the menu, and the drinks are on point too. Definitely worth a try.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my dinner. I ordered the Branzino Fish and it was delicious! The ambiance was very tasty. Lauren was my server and was very nice. Hoping they get their liquor license soon I will be back.

Yelp
So I found this lovely place online while looking for a date night restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! Everything was fresh and perfect portions for one person. The cocktails were excellent as well. Not too strong and paired nicely with the menu. We went on a Wednesday night and it was not packed so we were able to have a nice corner to ourselves. If you like Thai food, this is a place to add to your rotation!
