First-time at PCC and loving the dynamic atmosphere. Impressed by the extensive variety of unique vegetables and fruits not found in local markets. The freshness and local charm of the fruits are a standout. Already planning a return visit to PCC! 🌿

Update 11/27/2023 I had to revert this store from Four to Five Stars. Thanks to Emma, I got a pizza replacement. ======= PCC is a decent market for organic vegetables, fruits, and drinks. I usually go for their thin-crust supreme pizza. A whole pizza is like $18.00, and it feeds 3 to 4 people. There are a good amount of goods in the deli department. Some are pasta, steak, tofu, fried or baked chicken, olive, and tons of good cheese and salami. There is so much good stuff. You will not be able to walk out of this market empty-handed. I would have given the market five stars, but I had my burnt pizza in the past. I did not check until I got home.

Great selection of fresh produce. We stopped here when we got into town, just a few minutes drive from the airport. We were able to grab beer and snacks for our cabin stay. We really enjoyed the cilantro hummus and fresh made guacamole. They had a nice outdoor area that was perfect for enjoying lunch.

Sign on the door says closing at 11:00 p.m. All doors locked at 10:54. Absolutely ridiculous! Soon they're probably going to put a tip line on the receipts...

Google
Mostly organic products, good produce selection, good deli selection, nice salad bar, hot bar is expensive but good selection, customer service is hit or miss except Carol up front and MaryAnn in the bakery. Those two are awesome. There are a couple of people in the deli who are nice but a lot of times you stand there and wait for someone to notice you. At times produce is hit or miss. We've bought lemons that looked good outside but smelled off and were turning brown inside. I recently picked up two sweet onions the same day I was cooking with them. The one I cut was bad inside. I didn't bother cutting the second one, just composted both. You can return items with a receipt within 30 days that aren't up to par but for me driving back to Burien for a lemon or two onions isn't worth it. The tap kombucha in the bakery rotates flavors and is really good. The bakery also has cheese/egg/meat breakfast sandwiches on cheddar biscuits or one w/o the meat. They're pretty good size and convenient. They have Custom Pure filtered water @ .49/gal. As you can see from the photo it's filtered pretty clean and that price is a great deal. A lot of people have heard PCC is expensive. I don't think it is. You have deals there just like the other grocers in the area. And for the most part the quality is great. **This is the only thing I truly dislike about PCC-the deli will smash and pack as much into your container as is humanly possible. Even if you ask them not to if you aren't watching they will. I learned the hard way.

Google
Most of the markdown is the prices you know that they're really lame on their you know their sales are not that good and their pop is really atrocious they don't have any soda to speak of its decent I mean unless you're a ginger beer fan that stuff is I can't even talk that the best part about this place is the location it's really I could go on the freeway but it's not like I'm I'm in any big hurry there's no use to bother people on the freeway that have to get somewhere you know in yeah I'm cool with this place except for the pricing and you know some of their you know they need a couple of decent pops. Butler bakery stuff that's where the two stars came from their bakery stuff is really good.

I am a vegetarian that ran some errands in Burien and grabbed a veggie pot pie for lunch. Came home, cooked it, took a bite, and it was full of meat. I called and they told me the only thing I could do was drive the 6.5 miles back to the store for a refund. First time eating meat in almost 3 years. 😩😭😭

Nice place to shop, lots of options for hot food bar and salad bar. Vadim was helpful and friendly! Highly recommend this grocery store!

Yelp
I'm so glad they put at PCC here, especially when our West Seattle location was demolished and rebuilt. I especially love that it shares a parking lot with Trader Joes. I can pop into both for all my grocery needs. As a family with food allergies, PCC is great at stocking tons of gluten, dairy and egg free products. Yes, it's pricy. Especially next to TJ's, but they have high standards on products they stock that I love and trust. I love that the kids can "forage" for a free fruit while I shop. I haven't taken a cooking class yet, but they always offer some really neat looking classes and this location has a classroom. I've always been able to find an associate if I have a question or need help. I will say the check out area is always confusing. The flow has changed since covid and opening self checkouts, but I feel like me - and a lot of people - don't quite know where to stand. Do we all stand at the bottleneck by the self checkouts and wait for a lane to open (a lot of people do this), or can we walk up to a lane and stand in line?

Yelp
I'm not one who HAS to have organic, natural, non-GMO food so I initially wasn't drawn to PCC but went after receiving a post card with freebies to encourage a visit. I'll admit it: it worked. And I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of items they offer. From fresh-baked breads and rolls to hot food to more varieties of cheese than you can shake a stick at, if you want it PCC probably has it. Most recently I was looking for a head of frisée lettuce (a variation of endive, also referred to as curly endive) and had gone to the usual groceries. No one had it, but PCC did, and at a very reasonable price. I've enjoyed their sockeye salmon in addition to several of the cheeses that we've brought home, but was I especially appreciate is that they have a huge variety of spices IN BULK. If you need a tablespoon of something, you can likely get it there without having to pay $4 for the jar it comes in at FM or QFC. Just pay for the spice and you're money ahead. And not having to buy a full jar of something you might not use that often will help ensure your spices are fresh and full of flavor. The parking lot is a bit difficult to navigate and there's often someone at the exit selling Real Change so have a couple of dollars at hand to help out. But go! See for yourself.

Yelp
I usually come here in the morning for breakfast. Usually it's pretty good but it's hit and miss. One day it's all really good then the next time it looks like crap. No consistency in quality in whomever makes it. This morning the scrambled eggs looked like bright yellow cottage cheese and the country gravy was brown. I reluctantly got the eggs and they were pretty disgusting . Like someone beat the eggs with a hand mixer and put cheese on it . I couldn't eat it . And for how pricy things are here it was a waste of 7$. I didn't even get much and it was 7$. Also I got a cherry scone the other day and it had 1 cherry. Sucks .

Yelp
I think this PCC does the following well: 1. Tasty breakfast and hot food deli options. 2. Bakery items are tasty, both non-gluten and gluten free. 3. Variety of items throughout the store that should cater easily to the natural/organic product shopping consumers. 4. The facility is clean and products are clearly marked. Many items I have found out of stock are marked as such on the shelf. Clearly, the store is aware. 5. Outdoor and indoor seating should you just need to have a quick deli lunch/coffee. Its time is limited to I think a half hour. Where this store can significantly improve upon is its customer service because every single time, especially in the mornings, the staff are very curt and clearly unhappy. I've said "hello" and "good morning" and the usual greetings walking in and the staff just blankly or bitterly stare and don't say anything. At times, I've wondered if its racially charged to be frank. The deli staff are pleasant and that's about all I can say about that. For as expensive as PCC is, the store management and the staff need to understand that customer service is part of the job and you're not selling just products but a positive experience to show value to your customers. I have worked in retail, and I get people can be rude or you can be tired but it's not fair to take out frustrations on customers who are blatantly polite or equally treat your customers poorly. Like the store but it needs work in the customer service attitude department hard.

Yelp
I have been to a couple of other PCC locations. This one does seem smaller compared to the Issaquah, Columbia City or Edmonds locations. The store carries quality candle products, one of the few stores that carry 'clean' candles (non-paraffin, non-toxic) aside from Nordstrom (carries organic coconut wax), Target (soy wax but not all are 'clean' candles), and Whole Foods (much more pricey). Candles here range $5-$25 on average for beeswax, palm based candles priced quite decent for the smaller candles. This is also one of the stores that carries healthier alternative to the white rice flour products (brown rice noodles, brown rice paper) in their Asian food aisle.

Yelp
I have been here several times. I searched for white pepper and onion powder this time, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be there. There were quite a few shelves that were out of stock due to a small selection. The price is also higher than the supermarket. I think it's because it's organic and of good quality, as PCC say. I don't know which one you will choose, but ... I want to understand the current situation and choose. There is a private parking lot nearby for people with physical disabilities, and the floor inside the store is easy to move around. I will come back in anticipation next time.

Yelp
My favorite store that I know I know I'll be able to find something to eat as far as deli or even to prepare a meal. My most recent visit I was very pleased to see the updated sweets options having allergy friendly options. If you are looking for holiday pies or any sweets that cater to Specific dietary restrictions this is the place to look. Easy check out options too, self check out. Highly recommend, however this store is generally pricey compared to others.

Yelp
I always love coming here to get my everyday cooking needs! The grocery store is well kept and maintained. The only problem is that in comparison to the other PCCs i go to, they always seem to lack certain things that other PCCs have. Like we are heavy mushroom eaters and it seems each time we go, they either have lionsmane or they dont. At Bellevue PCC, they always have it. Plus they have much more variety of mushrooms than at the Burien one. For off things that we need at Bellevue vs Burien... this is still a nice place to shop. Healthier options with a high price.

Yelp
Love this place! I used to work in SeaTac and found myself here regularly. Lately I rarely get out here unless I'm passing through in which case I ALWAYS stop by PCC. This place has lot of variety for vegans and anyone else with food allergies. Their vegan brownies are insanely amazing and so is their vegan pizza! I'm not a vegan but I have a horrendous dairy allergy, so I am dairy free and they have it all in regard to my allergy. Lots of dairy substitutes and alternatives. The deli counter is a must see, the beet salad is so darn good. I can eat an entire container in the blink of an eye. Solid health food store! I wish they had one in Puyallup or anywhere down south. It's not terribly pricey either. It's not nearly as expensive as a Whole Foods or Metropolitan Market.

Yelp
It is a perfectly acceptable grocery store that looks like a Borg cube from the outside. Seriously, this is place sticks out looking nothing like anything nearby and it just doesn't scream inviting. Regardless inside it is a standard PCC with a notable absence of drones. It is very COVID compliant with sneeze shields, masks, and as much social distancing you can enforce in a grocery store. It has a kombucha selection and a good sized deli. Their cheese selection is astounding. I found out cashier to be extremely friendly but no one else in the store was. The lady behind the cheese counter interjected herself in a conversation my friend and I were having regarding cheese to tell us how our experiences were wrong and why. There was no purpose, no insight gained - it truly was unnecessary. But I resisted in saying anything and we just walked away without buying any cheese. My friend found what he was looking for, but I did not. We happened to be in the area, but I can't see myself returning here.

Yelp
PCC has the best pizza in Burien. Period! They also carry the amazing Whidbey pies are supper addicting.

Yelp
This PCC has some staff with serious elitist attitudes. When asking workers about different items available, they treated us in a snobby way like a sommelier at a stuffy French restaurant. I'll revisit the review after I try their in-house Taqueria. It looks ok and lady working it was quite nice. Beer selection is larger as one would expect. I wonder how busy this place will be when the PCC on California Ave reopens. == Tried a burrito from their "Taqueria". It was bad. 2-star bad. Beans were undercooked. Rice was so crunchy it seemed dehydrated. Tortilla tastes like it was whole wheat. Barbacoa was OK but had some kind of middle eastern spice to it, which was not welcome.

Yelp
Looks like 4 people standing around chatting and not working and was rude to us because we wanted to check out!!! And interrupting there powwow Got to ask the kid moping the floor for aloe Vera juice and then being yelled at ITS RIGHT THERE by another person who was too busy to help too!!! Man PCC in Burien sucks 9.18.21 8;50am

Yelp
What a nice and relaxed atmosphere where the aisles are spread out with double the aisle space, high ceilings, clean, bright natural light coming in where the seating is by the windows where you can easily have breakfast, lunch or dinner from freshly cooked soups, salads and other entrees. This is the Starbucks of grocery stores where you can come and linger a while, it's not a rat race to get in and out with your groceries. I have to say that PCC is working to provide a closer positive customer experience instead of pushing brand names and maximizing throughput in and out of the store. They worked with WABI Burien to provide a bike friendly store with bike racks by the door where you can easily bike to PCC and secure your bike while shopping at PCC and other close by stores. Great job in creating a alternative to Safeway and a complement to Trader Joes. Fantastic that PCC worked with Burien city planning and other organizations to be a great community member and role model for other businesses in Burien.

Yelp
Today is Nov 4th 2022. At around 7:00 today I was assaulted by a guy in his car, in the parking lot. The car hits me, knocks phone outa of hand, and the guy proceeds to jump out of car, and tells me use the crosswalk next time. It was at this moment he saw I still standing in the crosswalk, so he proceeds to aggressively walk towards me. This guy tried to hit me, said he would kill me, and blah blah blah blah. And now this is where PCC drops the social contract of human decency. Staff comes to his rescue and then threatens to call the police on me, the one who was hit by the car, approached by the driver, and threatened to have life taken by this guy. I'm the one who ends up with threat of police being called on me. Now here comes the fun part, let's play guess the races???

Yelp
Hey PCC ( 8/11/22 ) whatever you had out there for Tomato soup, it ain't. That's Tomato purée Your soup has been lacking of late. The other day chicken and rice soup was messed up too. No more chances am done

Yelp
Have been coming here for a few years for full-size pizza orders [huge money-saver compared to some other pizza options]. Just wanted to say Evan took our order and hooked it up with the best pizza I've had here in years. Thanks for the excellent customer service and the 11/10, pizza Evan!

Yelp
Oh PCC (Burien)! Just take all my money why don't you! It's waaay too expensive hence the 4 stars but it's a great place to find vegan ingredients and processed vegan food that are delish! :) Ambience is great and it always looks clean and produce and products are stored in a neat and orderly manner. I love their blueberry vegan scones! The hot foods are also amazing! They make awesome vegan dishes ranging from mango curry, vegan chili, and assorted veggies etc. Children are able to eat about a cups worth of fruits and veggies for free so that's pretty cool! It's a $60 one time fee to be a PCC member, yes I caved and am now a member. Lol Parking is shared between all the stores including Trader Joe's, some restaurants, Anko etc so it's always full especially between 3-7pm. If you want a lot of packaged free, organic, non-GMO food options then I highly recommend PCC! Happy eating/shopping!

Yelp
I was at PCC Burien and brought a container to fill with olive oil. My first time doing this. I saw the sign that's said to bring containers to the cashier to be weighed and inspected. I stood in line with my empty container, handed it to the cashier and said I want to fill this with olive oil. He inspected it weighed and wrote the empty weight on the top. Then I returned to the cashier line with my purchases there was another man there who was incredibly rude and kept yelling at me saying we don't sell olive oil this way how many ounces in this jar. I told him I didn't know the weight was on it. He repeated many times we don't sell it this way how many ounces are in this jar? I asked him if he could take a guess (it was actually an empty Trader Joe ginger beer container) he said no they don't sell anything in those containers and if I didn't know how many oz were in it then he would dump the olive oil out. YES in this time of food insecurities he dumped out an entire bottle of organic olive oil. YES in this time of dwindling resources, Rising food costs, awareness of food wastefulness, he arrogantly dumped out perfectly good food. I have seen PCC do so many Politically Incorrect things things this is my last time ever in their store.

Yelp
Cute store. Clean and spacious. First time in there since always passing by. Will continue to come here. They have lots of local and organic goods.
google avatar

Yelp
It's the same PCC as the rest, except, they don't she smoothies at this location. For some reason it just feels smaller, but I'm guessing it's not. The store is clean, the staff is friendly. The best thing about this location is the ample parking. Also, as with any other PCC, the prices are ridiculous.
google avatar

Megan F.

Yelp
Please make and add more vegan items to the breakfast hot bar. There used to be Tofu breakfast burritos and I never see them anymore.... There are usually no options in the morning for breakfast except potatoes and veggies...:(
google avatar

Yelp
The produce and deli have improved significantly since this location opened so I'm updating my review.

Yelp
Wow, such a nice grocery store!! I seriously think this was my first time in a PCC... They're in the same parking lot as a Trader Joe's, which makes me sad because I LOVE Trader Joe's. PCC is lookin' all fancy and shiny so it makes me wonder how it has been hitting TJ's since their opening. We didn't need anything, we literally just went in to check it out (my boyfriend works in retail upper management so he was interested in seeing how the store looked). The store is SO nice. For those who have been to a PCC, you know it's very reminiscent of a Whole Foods - just a little bit smaller. They've got a salad bars, hot food bars, a taqueria, a pizzeria, and a small dining area to eat all of those goodies if you're looking to come here for a quick lunch or dinner before you do your shopping! All of the products here seem to be local, of high quality, and a little bit more on the expensive side. This PCC made me want to get my life together and starting eating better, but I'm not going to lie to myself - I'll keep going to my nearby Safeway. However, you should do yourselves a favor and just check this place out if you haven't had the pleasure of doing so yet!

Paula L.

Yelp
I am not high maintenance nor do I believe that all service personnel need to have a pleasant demeanor but I do expect politeness. Today, the cashier that I dealt with had neither. I believe using self checkout reduces staffing to the detriment of employment, however given the sullen treatment I received today I will use self checkout at this market! Train your staff people or lose your membership base.

Yelp
As soon as I set my eyes on this place I was drawn in! I had actually just followed my GPS from SeaTac, after dropping my hubby and a friend/coworker off, to go to Trader Joe's. But thought I'd go in here before I spent my budget there? Oh boyee, that might have been a mistake, not. I came out with many beverages, some never before seen, some already fond of that were on sale. See pictures added off my phone. It is too bad and at the same time a good thing I do not live near enough to this place to be a regular. What I bought; Rebbl are such high quality, good for you, nutritional, even some what filling and satifying are certainly worth their value of what is usually 4.99 each. At this time these were on sale for 3.13, such a great special! So I think I bought three? Also a beet juice drink I had never seen I got for my co-worker/friend who is a vegan, and a kombucha. So the same price we would pay for hand crafted barista drinks but are where you are when you want them, in fresh sealed non spill containers! The other item they had I had not before seen was a chip brand Hardbite Parsnip Chips. I already love the Terra Root Chips which contain a variety including Parsnip. Unfortunately, they were out of them on that day. Since then, yesterday as a matter of fact at Whole Foods Tacoma, I got some. Good stuff! I did still get my usual staples at Trader Joe's so I do not think, even being right next door, PCC takes any business from TJ's? Let's face it no one can beat TJ's style and economical, competitive prices.

Yelp
Super happy that PCC is in the area! There just aren't enough premium grocery stores in the area and this is such a welcomed addition. Very small store, so the selections can be small based on what they've considered a priority. Very good selection of ready made items (several of which are veggie friendly) also a good selection of bakery items. Throughout the store they have a great selection of vegetarian/vegan centric products, tons of dried goods of various kinds, and a pretty good selection of bagels. Produce department definitely always leaves me wanting more. The quality is usually pretty good, but it's seriously tiny and I find it impossible to make PCC a one stop shop. Cashiers aren't exactly the friendliest people, but they're not openly rude (I find several of them to be standoffish) so it's not that bad.

Yelp
Really good and healthy food ! Really glad it opened up here in Burien. Always has a great variety of soups , salads, yogurts, sandwiches & even pizza! Really clean layout inside the store and has some tables to sit outside when it's nice outside . Their yogurts are a must-have ! Recommend for everyone !

Yelp
THIS IS A DIRECT ACCOUNT OF MY EXPERIENCE AT PCC MARKET IN BURIEN, WASHINGTON. THIS HAPPENED TO ME WHILE I WAS IN THE STORE. PLEASE BEWARE IF YOU CARE ABOUT CORONAVIRUS AND NOT BEING DISCRIMINATED AGAINST FOR WEARING A MASK AND MISTREATED!! I CANNOT BELIEVE...JUST CANNOT BELIEVE...WHAT I experienced in here. NOT ONLY AM IN BRINGING IT TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, BUT I AM GOING TO BE WRITING TO ALL NEWS MEDIA OUTLETS AND WHOEVER ELSE I CAN ABOUT THIS STORE. SOOO...I walk in and I tell the young man who works there outside with the carts...who walked right in front of me...to please stand six feet away from me and I have two immune conditions and that I could die from CORONAVIRUS and he proceeds to GO IN FRONT OF ME!! So, then, I go to a Produce person who comes TOWARDS me when I tell her to stand six feet away from me when I was trying to buy a small drink and go to the bathroom b/c I was commuting and stopped there b/c I had been to three gas stations who would not let me pee and I REALLY had to go. So, when I asked the produce person why nobody was listening when I asked everyone VERY NICELY in the store to stand six feet away, she got an attitude and went to her "Manager" (name started with a "C", but sadly I forgot b/c she was so abusive) and sad I wanted to use the bathroom but I was "rude"....Umm...no, I fear for my life and did not want to be in there b/c I have not gone anywhere for two months, but I needed to pee. So, then the Manager said, passively aggressively (Seattle at its finest): "What can I help you with?" And I said I needed to go the bathroom and I asked her if she was the Store Manager and she said, very rudely with a very rude tone, "Ma'am, all you need to know is that I am the Manager for today." And I said, "But that does NOT answer my question...ARE YOU THE STORE MANAGER?" And she said, "Can you please keep your voice down, ma'am" and I said "No, b/c I was just abused and treated badly and all of your staff would not move six feet away from me when I told them nicely and patiently that I had two immune conditions, but instead, they treated me compassionately" and then she said, "Well, maybe you should not go out!!" WHHHHAAT? I said, "Well, I usually do not and haven't gone out in two months but A.) I badly needed to pee b/c I am traveling and B.) I do not need to qualify or explain anything to you." So, then she said I could not pee, so I laughed and went to the bathroom anyway. I had seen five people starting at me in that deer in the headlights, Seattle way that only these passive aggressive people can do...when I went in and when I walked out, the lady that asked me to keep my voice down (The "Manager") was yelling and showing her true colors. So I said, "Darling, you just messed with the wrong person, b/c I am a Native American activist for 30 years and I am a writer as well and I am going to be telling EVERYONE about what I am experienced here." SO FURTHERMORE...MY REVIEW IS PRETTY EPICALLY IMPORTANT B/C IT HAS TO DO WITH HOW PEOPLE LIKE ME ARE BEING TREATED WITH CORONAVIRUS. THESE PEOPLE ARE DISGUSTING. FRANKLY, ALL OF THESE EMPLOYEES NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE AND I WILL MAKE ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN IT HAPPENS.

Yelp
I'm excited that this PCC opened in this area as I usually go to the Trader Joe's that's in the same complex about once a week or so. I like to get the deli prepared foods and some of the drinks specialty drinks that I can't find at Trader Joe's. I find that the stores compliment each other as I can go to Trader Joe's for more of my every day items, but PCC for the specialty ones as everything else is a bit more pricey.

Dan K.

Yelp
As a regular shopper at PCC, I have to say I really like the Burien store. I have always had really positive interactions with the staff here. They are friendly and helpful. I like many of the products you carry. And they are always fresh and tasty. My two issues: 1) Removing the bulk yogurt and replacing it with cookie dough. That was ridiculous. 2) Your self check outs are terrible. I mean terrible. If I could rate them separately I would give them a negative score. Maybe if you paid someone who had some experience programming and setting them up you would have had better results. They frequently won't scan bar codes, requiring manual entry of the numbers. And their set up wasn't done in a way that is intuitively obvious. Hire someone away from Safeway or Kroger to teach you how to program and lay out your self scanner screens.

Yelp
I LOVE PCC and miss them tremendously since moving out of WA. I was pretty excited, therefore, when I had a chance to visit this (for me) new Burien location so near my beloved Mongolian Grill from my SeaTac days. It's a spacious location with a roomy produce section. Their standard soup and hot food section I recognize with its deli counter is here and they even have a pastry counter featuring goodies from Macrina and elsewhere. At 7 PM the hot section looks more like overheated so I wasn't tempted to take anything with. Plenty of healthy choices in the freezers, refrigerators and pantry aisles. I just... don't remember PCC being quite this expensive. I got a can of wine and it rang up over $7. A quart of hot soup is almost $10. Theo chocolate bars are almost $4 compared to Marlene's for $2.50. I understand that they have to pay their staff, benefits, etc but the prices are probably prohibitive to many. I'd come here if I still worked nearby, but I'd be very very picky about what I chose to take home.

Yelp
Super happy to have them open up in the neighborhood but can't understand what the deal is with the employees?? They are either wonderfully helpful and friendly (shoutout to the butcher & cheesemonger!) or terribly rude and annoyed (most everyone else working in this store). If it wasn't for the fancy milk they sell & sometimes treasured cuts of beef - I would do all my shopping at Trader Joe's next door. 2.5 stars really.

Yelp
I'm bummed about this PCC because I used to live by the one in Greenlake and it is 100 times better! On 3 separate occasions I have bought produce here and when I opened the fridge the next day it was already moldy/rotten. How could that happen in less than 24 hours? They also have a limited selection compared to all their other stores. Some of their staff are very rude and I feel like an inconvenience to them when I ask questions. One guy who was stalking the salad fridge didn't move out of the way so I could grab a salad, even after I asked if I could grab one real quick and be out of his way. Instead I had to stand and wait for him to finish and I eventually just walked away without the salad. One thing I'm glad about is they always have celery and usually fresh Ginger and Turmeric. Especially with the new celery juice fad going on it can be hard to find.

Yelp
There's so many lovely items to choose from, fresh fruits, fresh baked goods, prewrapped grab and go hot or cold breakfast goodies, we can also order pizza, a variety of fresh yogurt to choose from, lots of staple goodies, they have lovely fresh seafood section and a very nice cheese section; I especially love the hot soups offered here. And most impressive, every staff encountered appear friendly behind their masks, all very courteous. I witnessed a customer complaining and making suggestions on how to improve a certain area while the staff listened patiently, I was merely passing by that aisle to pick up my item and had no intentions of staying to listen to the one-sided conversation but at that moment I was in awe of how calm and composed the pcc staff was in that situation.

Yelp
Picked 3 items of bakery goods and wrote the item number on the side of the brown bag. Brought it to the checkout to pay and the cashier rummaging multiple times into my bag of pastries with her gloves that's been worn to handle currencies and handling groceries items. I have made it a point that I've wrote the item number on the side of the bag and touching my pastries is unnecessary. Said, "don't worry I wear gloves" and I said," that's what I'm worried about." This shows that their customer service and professionalism are way overrated and far below from the quality standards that PCC holds.

Yelp
So glad self check was added. Now we can avoid the cashier who barks at us for putting my groceries on the belt too soon ("let me finish with this customer first!" but she doesn't say anything to the person behind us who does the same thing). Then she mumbles to her bagger about customers. Sorry to bother you, ma'am. I love the people at the cheese counter, though. They're so great.

Yelp
Really nice and clean grocery store in King county. Many organic and gluten free options at reasonable prices. The workers were friendly as well.

Yelp
Decent grocery store with all the basics/health foods. The store is clean and organized, so that was a plus. I came in with just a few things on my list to buy - some juices, fruit, and snacks - and found everything I needed. I actually stumbled upon this store on my way to Trader Joe's and was able to get some decently fresh fruit from produce. I didn't have any problems with the staff, but I did come early in the morning when there weren't too many people in the store yet.

Yelp
I am absolutely thrilled to live near the newest PCC location! I fell in love with PCC markets for their ready to eat salads, vegetables, and proteins. You can stop in on your way to work to build your dream lunch for $10 and look forward to your nutritious meal all morning long. Try their Moroccan Yams with a grilled whole chicken breasts if you're looking for a quick and nutritious lunch. Aside from their prepared food counter, they do an incredible job of supporting local businesses. They've got milk and produce from local farms. I actually discover a new vegetable every time I come in, and I'm a total foodie! Last time it was a broccolini-kale hybrid and the time before was purple kohlrabi. Lots of exciting ingredients! PCC is also a wonderful resource for vegetarians and vegans. Looking for veggie burgers? They've got 6+ options that aren't just compressed soy protein. Looking for a yogurt alternative? Choose between soy, coconut, almond, etc. Another department that really shines at PCC is their cheese department. Dozens of types from all over the world. They even carry fresh goat milk feta in brine! If you're looking for things to serve with your cheese, they have an olive bar that blew me away. We're talking grilled or dry-cured olives. An incredible selection! My very favorite thing about PCC Markets is that they provide seating if you want to each a meal there. Many locations even offer outdoor and indoor seating so you don't have to worry about the weather. This location has outdoor seating in the front of the store near the entrance. PCC is basically a whole food restaurant!

Yelp
I wandered into this establishment for the first time expecting an abundance of variety for our group at lunch and that's exactly what I found. The pork adobado quesadilla was recommended to me by the taqueria staffer and despite being slightly undersized, the meal left me wanting more. The quesadilla only cost $6, which was appropriate given the minuscule amount of pork that accompanied the mountain of cheese and rice. I paired this with a pretzel roll - surprisingly moist given that it was just sitting out - and a boxed water. All in all, I was pleased with PCC and would recommend it if you're eating with a group that wants to be semi-healthy. Food for one, food for all.

Yelp
I love the market all around! But, the taqueria bar needs some serious improvement! That is my reason for three stars. The employee had an attitude towards her other colleague when asked to help us and then totally made a disastrous burrito for us. Didn't even look up at us once. Would you want to pay $7.99 for the burrito in my picture?

Yelp
I did have the surgery on my nose on February 16th. Still not going back to this store! When you teach your checkers to lie you are not a good manager. I spend all my money at Fred Meyer now! The one stop shop! Saving a ton ton ton of money too!

Yelp
I know the recipes are all supposed to be the same, but the Burien PCC deli items taste better than any of the other locations. Went to the new West Seattle PCC recently and I prefer the layout at the Burien location; parking lot is much bigger too! Love the fresh organic produce, healthy options, compostable packaging!

Yelp
I don't do a ton of shopping in person during the pandemic, and when I do I make it quick. The past two times i've went into this PCC, I left feeling super annoyed. The cashiers are always in a crappy mood, which sucks to deal with as a customer paying such high prices. I understand what it's like to be an essential worker, because I also have never gotten the option to quarantine. So I get that it's not ideal to be working at the height of a pandemic, if that's what they're so aggravated about.. Whatever, I guess I'll just go elsewhere.
