"Pearl Dive is a raw bar and seafood restaurant in Clarksville, right across the street from the famous El Arroyo sign. Finish taking your pictures of whatever witticism is displayed, then head inside for ceviches, tartares, caviar, and, of course, oysters." - Nicolai McCrary

Pearl and Fin Oyster Bar is an absolute gem! The food was out of this world—so good it made me believe calamari is an aphrodisiac! Every bite was a flavor explosion, like fireworks going off on my taste buds. And the prices? Unbelievable for the quality and experience! To top it all off, the service was impeccable. Kourtland was hands down the best—attentive, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. I’m already planning my next visit. This place is a must-try! 🙌🏾🔥 #PearlAndFin #FiveStars #FoodieApproved

Excited this place is finally open! Food has great taste and portions are a good size. Loved the octopus, lobster raviolis, and mussels. Large selection of oysters, which was nice. The drinks were good but feel like they are a little steep for not necessarily being craft cocktails. Hope they also introduce a great happy hour so it becomes a neighborhood restaurant rather than just a once in a while date night.

I went in for lunch after my workout, a couple doors down. The dining area is really pretty and pleasing to look at. They also have a patio area (it was raining so I sat inside. The staff was very attentive. Rudy and Sebastian were nice and able to answer all my questions. There have plenty of options for $20 lunches (actually a really good deal). I ended up getting a simple burger and fries- great choice! The fries were well seasoned. - i think my only issue was being told that there are only so many burgers available (i think that should change, i can understand if this is only because it is a newer restaurant) You can park in the garage attached to the building and there is actually a door from the garage into the restaurant. Cant wait to try out their happy hour

Had a wonderful experience here, brought in a party of 6 for a birthday dinner. The servers were extremely attentive and patient with us and were on top of our drinks/ water The atmosphere was clean and the chairs were extremely comfortable. The only downside I’d have to say, with the scallop plate it was paired with corn. I never had that pairing with scallops before and didn’t really mesh well with the seafood but the scallops were great!

A beautiful date night restaurant rugged away once you get off Mopac. Excellent attention to details, and the boldest Old Fashion I yet to have. Thanks for a great evening, and definitely her birthday is well celebrated. Try the grilled seafood skewers, also the Ceviche, and oysters. Most certainly their cocktails.

We had such a great evening! Went on a little best friend date and got so much food and it was all delicious. We got the ceviche, shrimp cocktail, crab Louie, French fries, and oysters. Everything was super fresh!

2.75/5 stars 🌟 We sat at the Oyster bar, the service was good, food was average only one dish stood out! We had many drinks and dishes with HH discount and on top of that our bill was $207 before tip, which is too expensive for the value in my opinion. Maritime Martini: it was really smooth. Downtown old fashioned: really good. Sea cucumber: it was good. Extra dirty martini: it was good. Oysters: we had a dozen of east coast oysters, they were fresh, but not as saliney as I like. I wish they had taste profiles descriptions. Squid ink Calamari: it was good with the sauce. Tuna tartare: super fresh & straightforward. I thought it looked lighter than expected in terms of color but good. Charred Octopus: it wasn’t charred but it was AMAZING!! It was well seasoned and cooked perfectly, including the tail, which sometimes would be chewy. Branzino: it was ok, it could’ve used some seasoning. The carrots purée was good.

Google
The experience and food quality is amazing! The service is top notch - our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and helped us pick some delicious oysters when we weren’t sure what to get. Not only are the oysters fresh, but you also get an amazing variety of various costal oysters (East, west etc), plus the names are top notch, you’ll know what I mean when you go. (Im purposely leaving it a mystery) The lobster roll actually has a HUGE portion of lobster. (Photo below as proof) They don’t hold back from stuffing that roll, and the lobster is savory and buttery. The lobster ravioli is creamy and melts in your mouth! Do not skip on the lamb and COTES DƯ RHÔNE wine!! If you love lamb, you will LOVE the lamb here. Falls off the bone, not chewy and pairs perfectly with their red wine: COTES DƯ RHÔNE and it’s served with a chimichurri sauce For recently opening this place really nails it! 10/10 recommend

Yelp
I've been twice and this place is ok. The happy hour is a good deal, especially the drinks. I would come back for that. It's just really big and always nearly empty, so that feels weird and I can't imagine they are doing well. The oysters were fresh and delicious and the fried squash flower was also delicious. I also really enjoyed the crab Louie salad, which was generously topped with really good crab. I've had the squid ink calamari twice and it's just weird that it's black, I don't think it adds to the flavor. I haven't gotten entrees either time because they seem quite over priced.

Yelp
Sadly, I can't recommend this place anymore. I took a huge group of friends here on a Sunday for the $1 mimosa and $1 oyster deal, only to get there and find out that they weren't doing the $1 oysters that day. Not sure if it was a supply issue, but we didn't receive any kind of explanation. There was no announcement about it on their Instagram or website beforehand (because I tried to check to make sure they would still have it), so we were pretty disappointed. To make things worse, the mimosas were about 85% orange juice and came with grenadine in them, which was pretty, but also super sweet. We had a bunch but didn't feel like we were drinking alcohol at all. Other than the east coast oysters (which were $4 each), the food was generally mediocre and overpriced. My friends got the calamari, burgers, and bagel, and all said it was meh. It ended up being an expensive and relatively bad brunch. The fries were still good though! I also want to mention that we were a party of 11 and got seated at a super long and skinny table, so it was impossible to talk to the other end of the table. Keep this in mind if you have a large group. The staff was still very friendly though, and I'm sure all the issues weren't their fault. I think the restaurant has given up on the party brunch concept. There was no DJ this time, and there was only one other table in the entire restaurant while we were there. Maybe dinner is more full, but I wouldn't be surprised if this place closes permanently soon.

Yelp
(4.5 out of 5) Have you ever received a text that had you responding so fast you didn't even process what you just agreed to? Well that's exactly what happened when I got a text from a friend asking if I wanted to go to drag brunch with $1 oysters. Pearl Dive Oyster Bar hosted their inaugural drag brunch and it was such a blast with a live dj and all. The tables were spaced out accordingly and they were giving away gift cards, aperol spritz tastings and swag, and featured $1 mimosas and oysters. The mimosas were a bit watered down which you could taste so I wished they were a bit boozier. (Maybe offer $1 mimosas with the purchase of entrees so the business can guarantee sales?) Our table of four enjoyed a dozen oysters, fries, lobster ravioli, french toast, tuna tartare, and their bread plate. The lobster ravioli was delicious and amply filled with lobster but they only come in four so be prepared! Although I took advantage of the dollar oysters, I am certain to be back to try their full oyster menu and I will be back to sit at the bar. Ironically enough the plate that had us all jaw dropped was their bread plate. Now yes is it crazy to pay $15 for a bread board, maybe, maybe not. The one thing I can say though is that we were litteraly dipping those little pieces of bread heaven into that velvety herbed garlic butter. The butter was reminiscent of my foodie adventures in Europe and I was literally contemplating on order a second tray. They featured four different types of breads with seasonings and sea salt but hot damn was this everything. Everything was so well executed and you can tell they take pride in their food menu. I'll be back!

Yelp
Amaaaazing happy hour! Dollar gulf oysters and dollar off other oysters. Ordered 2.5 dozen for 2 people and other dishes too. The mussels were so good with the sauce that came with it and the shishito peppers were nice and seasoned and just enough kick. The calamari was great and crispy and not oily. The drinks were great too! I think a few dollars for a margarita which is hard to beat! Very cute interior and felt intimate and not overly crowded. Service was excellent and every dish came out hot and fast. 10/10 would come again!

Yelp
Tried this place out for the first time during their happy hour and it was awesome! $12 for a dozen oysters and $1 margaritas, plus lots of other happy hour goodies like the pizza, hush puppies, and calamari! I believe that happy hour is M-F 2-6pm, but you may need to double check. The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive, the restaurant has a great vibe, and there's lots of parking available in the parking garage behind the restaurant. Overall the deals were great and the food was awesome, we will definitely be back!

Nicole S.

Yelp
I had such a great dinner here and was so impressed by the food. We had: tuna tartar, east coast oysters (3 diff kinds), lobster ravioli, and seabass. The food was overall very fresh and subtly flavored to let the fish shine. The lobster ravioli was so so rich and good I could just drink that sauce up. The lobster flavor rang through, with a few meaty chunks. I like the Asian flavors on the sea bass, it was cooked right to temp. The portions are smaller but that's not surprising and I didn't leave hungry. The service was friendly and gave us several drink recommendations when asked. The atmosphere is upscale and good for a date night. I really want to check out their brunch.

Yelp
Great spot downtown on W5 the grab seafood! Hopping vibe but cozy! Made a reservation, free parking in the garage in back, oysters were fresh and they have a great variety!! There is a patio between the restaurant and the bar next door but TX Hades weather ... I side was well AC'd! Had the seafood pasta, the sauce on point! Lobster ravioli, perfection! Will definitely come back for happy hour!

Yelp
This spot is such a hidden gem that I'm hesitant to even write about it Their happy hour menu is phenomenally priced and every single thing on there is delicious! The service is top notch and the owner is such a warm human who remembers you and welcomes you back! The decor is also on brand with a marine theme and they seem to do some fun brunches and events like oyster eating competitions. Definitely a great girls catch up spot or date night!

Yelp
I'm sure it's not typical to order food to-go from this fancy, beautiful establishment... but I was tight with time and hangry for lunch on a recent Friday and ended up calling in for a salad and shrimp cocktail based on Pearl Dive's location. Yes, it was a pricey lunch, but it sure was delicious! The staff made sure to keep everything chilled for me until I came in to pick it up and that made such a huge difference. It was filling and healthy and packaged well too... I would totally return for their namesake (oysters) and to experience a meal inside based on the fabulous, friendly service + food from my brief encounter... See you next time I'm in Austin, PDOB! PS - it's conveniently located right near a BLO location, so if you plan for a happy hour or date night here, you could easily plan to get your hair done right before!

Yelp
Best happy hour in town. Dollar margaritas! Dollar gulf oysters! Sign me up! The service was impeccable and the decor was very well designed. This place is definitely in my weekly happy hour rotation now.

Yelp
I was excited to try Pearl and Fin, a stylish, swanky spot offering 25-cent Gulf oysters for National Oyster Day. The oysters were decent. Not the best I've had, but solid for the price. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. Despite being one of the few customers there for the deal, I felt overlooked compared to others who were ordering from the regular menu. My water was never refilled, the service was slow, and the bartender was rude. She'd frequently check in on the couple seated next to me, meanwhile I felt invisible to her (even though I ordered two drinks)! t's frustrating when restaurants treat guests differently based on their spend. This could have been a great chance to win new customers with such a great deal and appealing ambiance. However, the poor service has discouraged me from returning.

Yelp
Another delicious HH at Pearl Dive Oyster Bar! They offer a good HH daily from 3pm to 7pm. What a treat! We tried their wines and beer by the bottle this time $5/glass! We tried their charcuterie board from the HH menu as well. Form the regular menu, we ordered their lobster roll and clam tagliatelle- both were quite tasty and did not disappoint! Service is always friendly & impeccable from everyone. Brooke was our server tonight and she was delightful! They have a dog friendly patio. We even got to meet the owner's gorgeous dog, Alex who was wearing a gorgeous bow tie tonight. What a dapper boi! There is a covered parking lot attached to the building - same parking lot as our spa (conveniently situated for sure) and it's free parking!

Allie R.

Yelp
Everything we ordered here was exceptional. The workers were so nice and the food came quickly. We came for happy hour as they had great prices and we were so satisfied. We did not have a reservation but were able to get seated right away since we came on the earlier side. Amazing costal feel in the dining room. Definitely will be coming back again soon!

Yelp
One of the best happy hours in town!! Loved all the dishes the food and the vibe! The dollar margaritas are phenomenal and taste great! Highly recommend the moules frites and the lobster ravioli(not on the happy hour but worth it). Server had great recs and was on top of it. Put this place on your list.

Yelp
I absolutely adore visiting oyster bars, and while Clark's is a tough contender in town, Pearl Dive has secured a close second spot for me, especially after experiencing their brunch recently. What immediately caught my attention was the extensive selection of oysters from both the east and west coasts! Following the server's recommendations, I opted for a half dozen, and each one was exquisite. Moving on to other dishes, I indulged in more seafood by choosing the crab Benedict, while my friend opted for the burger and fries. Both options were incredibly tasty, and I complemented my meal with their fantastic Bloody Mary. If the food doesn't lure you in, the ambiance certainly will. The restaurant boasts a stunning nautical theme with captivating signs and lighting throughout. Additionally, they also have patio and bar seating, which allows guests to get up close and personal with the daily fresh selections. While the prices lean towards the higher side, which is typical for quality seafood, I'm eager to return soon and make the most of their happy hour deals!

Tina D.

Yelp
Came here for the oyster during happy hours only. It's $1 gulf oysters and $1 off east coast varieties oyster, so it's $3 each. The gulf coast oysters were yummy and refreshing as always. I tried several of them like blue point, beau zoleil, love shuck, duxbury, Hollywood, and sunberries. My favorites were the blue point and sunberries oysters. I think the service can be a bit better. We had a gentleman as our waiter, but he seemed easily annoyed. Other than that, I enjoyed the delicious oysters. They are also have an entrance connected to a public garage, so you get wet in the rain.

Iris R.

Yelp
Decided to try this place and we'll definitely be going back for Happy Hour. $1 Margaritas and $1 Oysters, pretty awesome deal. Really cute decor, had a nice vibe. Sat at the bar and our bartender was super nice. Ordered a strawberry margarita and coconut margarita and it was surprisingly good for the cost, and it was another $1 for an extra shot, good deal. Food was good also. Ordered squid ink calamari which was also on the happy hour menu, and shared the grilled skewers which was a pretty big portion. Will def come back and try other dishes

Yelp
Was on a networking trip and was walking along S Congress where we found Pearl. We managed to get seated right away outside with a group of 5 at 1pm on a Saturday - talk about lucky! Considering it is summertime, it is hot, but the outdoor misters and shade from the trees makes this so doable (coming from the Californian LOL). It's also super cute on the patio I ordered the broiled oysters and a side of cole slaw, as well as shared the shrimp ceviche. I was unimpressed with the ceviche - it tasted great but was such a tiny portion even as a starter. I felt like I was digging around trying to find the shrimp/fish. The broiled oysters were off the charts! It comes with a toasted crostini and I used it to dip the sauce that coated everything. Literally wanted to lick the plate haha - that good. Really enjoyed the slaw as well, it was crunchy, fresh, and not overly drowned in creamy dressing which I prefer. Our server was super helpful with her recs but wished she checked on us more. My table ordered the ahi tartar, lobster roll, french toast, and tostadas. All were super happy and satifisfied! I did have a chance to take a bite of the tres leches french toast and would also recommend if you have a sweeter craving for brunch! It is a bit on the pricer side and all heavily seafood. If you don't like seafood or have a picky eater, I would make sure to check the menu. They did have a burger at very least and some fish/chips.

Yelp
Restaurant was closed! Made rez on open table for wife's birthday and showed up; doors closed!

Yelp
It was so nice to try Pearl Dive on the day after their grand opening. It is a stunning restaurant! We were lucky enough to go during Happy Hour and sit at the cold bar. We were greeted by our amazing server Ruben who gave us the specials for HH. You can't beat a $5 glass of wine and $3 east coast oysters. Y'all these are the best oysters in town. Super fresh and shucked to order. We also had the ceviche (not pictured bc we ate it so fast) and the lobster roll. TLDR - this is the best seafood in Austin and now the only place I will visit for oysters. I gave up on them here long ago. Thanks for a great experience Ruben and for being sparkle to our Monday evening. Can't wait to return!!

Yelp
New restaurant taking over the old Sushi Zushi place by Mean Eyed Cat. Interior remodel that opened it up the restaurant. Dropped in on their third day of open (still in the soft phase) and I think they were still working through open, but our server was excellent. They have a cocktail menu that is a mix of classics and their own takes on drinks. Black Pearl - a take on the old fashion - good Food menu is split into cold bar items, salads, caviar, small plates and entrees. Since we were at an oyster bar we had to do a seafood tower and opted for the smaller (Pearl Platter) vs the larger (High Dive). Platter came with 12 east coast oysters (all yummy) - but I wonder why they didn't add a few west coast since they did have those. 12 each of mussels and clams, 4 large shrimp, a lobster tail, 6 crab fingers and some rolls of smoked salmon. All of it was pretty good, but the crab fingers probably could have used a little garlic butter or something. We also go the Lobster Ravioli - which was 3 large ravioli's stuffed with crab. Flavors on this dish were very light and we did a supplement of black summer truffle on this dish which was a nice add. Grilled lamb chops also came out - handheld goodness with smoked chimichurri. We wrapped up the savory portion with the Miso Glazed Seabass. There was a good miso flavor on one side, but the fish was slightly on the dry side. Wild rice was a great accompaniment but the Swiss chard had a bit too much salt (maybe?). Dessert was a chocolate shell filled with a raspberry creme/mousse? It was really good.

Lainie H.

Yelp
I attended the soft opening, and the ambiance greeted me with an open kitchen and the smell of delicious food. The service was on point, ensuring all our needs were met. The waiter was knowledgeable about the different oysters and suggested the chef to pick his favorites for us. I started with a glass of Avissi Prosecco, Italy. Very nice to see they offered a glass of Prosecco, which was a perfect price. We shared the Calamari with pickled red onion, serrano, cucumber radish, lime, squid ink, and arugula was sheared to perfection, and the Chef picked his favorite Oysters; they were terrific. I ordered the Burrata with Heirloom tomatoes, basil, lemon oil, and bangles vinegar, and the Clam Tagliarini in Onion, Garlic, Cream, and white wine with a squeeze of lemon, paired with fresh bread from Easy Tiger served with olive oil, salt and pepper for dinner. Every bite was better than the last bite! The Pearl Dive will get better as time goes on and fine-tuned.

Yelp
We went to dinner here last Saturday and were honestly pretty disappointed. We started off ordering a round of oysters, and literally waited over 20-25 mins to get...oysters....in a restaurant that barely had 10 people in it... Our actual server was fantastic and even came by multiple times to apologize for the delay. The manager then came by and honestly barely did anything to help the situation except "discount the oysters by a $1" We then got our lobster ravioli - which was tasty and filled with lobster. Then got our lamb chops that to me were severely under salted and super small so not worth the price. All in all, felt this place was super overpriced for what you get sadly. Not some place I'll be rushing back to very soon at all.

Yelp
My date and I were very disappointed in our experience here. TL;DR - We walked out after we waited an hour for a reservation for a $300+ dinner. Disappointed but hopeful it was just a bad night. I booked a reservation for Valentine's Day (2024) on OpenTable about a month in advance. The Saturday before my reservation (about 4 days before) they called to inform me that the evening would be a pre fixe menu. I was a little bit disappointed, but this is normal for a Valentine's Day and the menu they texted us looked good so we ultimately wanted to give it a try. We were running a bit late and tried to call ahead to let them know, but no one answered. I figured they were just busy, and we were within the grace period so I didn't think much of it. We arrived for our 7:30 reservation at 7:35 to find a line out the door of people who also had reservations for 7:30. There was a lot of chatter in the line but very few clear instructions given, until someone pushed their way to the front and checked in for their table ahead of the people who had been waiting. It took about 30 minutes for us to be seated. Again, we understand that it is a busy night, but there was very little organization and we weren't thrilled about the way it was handled. The hostess was very nice and tried her best, but it did not appear that she had been set up for success. We were seated at about 8. The pre fixe was supposed to come with half a dozen roses and two glasses of champagne upon being seated. The hostess gave us the roses and sat us at a table. The atmosphere was intimate, but the tables were very close together and wait staff often bumped into my chair. That was the only time we bumped into wait staff, however, as no one even looked our way for another thirty minutes. There was no champagne, no greeting, and no one who looked as though they were there to help us. That did give us the chance to see courses served to other tables, however. The portions that we saw were very small and did not seem to have that much food. To be fair, we did not see anyone get their main course, but given what we saw, we had no interest in staying to find out. Like many of the people who had been waiting for their reservation, we made the decision to leave. At about 8:30, we let our hostess know that we were sorry but we could not wait any longer when we had not even been acknowledged by the wait staff. Had we had a drink, or even a glance from someone who could take our order, we would have been more likely to stay. However, we did not feel comfortable spending over $300 (the pre fixe plus tip and drinks) for an experience that had already been frustrating. The hostess was again very nice and let us know that she wasn't sure where the waiter for our section was. She apologized and let us keep the roses. Ultimately, I know it was a busy night, but with the price of the experience and the clear lack of organization, we were very disappointed and did not feel comfortable staying. I would love to try them again in the future, but there are definitely some kinks to work out, and at that price point it will be awhile before I try and take the plunge again.

April C.

Yelp
My husband and I are all about visiting new spots, this one caught my eye due to decor and where it was located. We went the first week it opened so the service was extremely slow we waited quite awhile to get our appetizers and we make it a point to go hungry so we can get a full experience. The manger did apologize we will definitely be back as even though the wait was quite a bit the staff was friendly and apologetic. The cocktails see delicious, we had the oyster which again were great and the steak frites. I think once they work out some kinks this place will be pretty popular, it's a great place for happy hours for sure!

Yelp
Meh. Came in for happy hour via an instagram post and just ended up ordering from the regular menu because none of the advertised happy hour items or prices or was actually legit. Seemed like a bait and switch - we came in for the advertised $1 margaritas & $10 steak for 4-6 pm, but it wasn't on the menu. We got 4 drinks - margaritas, the mussels, lobster ravioli, crudo, and branzino. Food was just meh. Way too overpriced for the quality/flavor Service was decent. Music was ridiculously loud. My boyfriend and I were sitting across from each other and had trouble hearing what the other person was saying. I think whoever maintains the speaker/music system has a hearing problem because it's way too loud to comfortably enjoy.

Nicolette M.

Yelp
I recently visited Oyster bar and overall, it was just alright. The food was alright, but the service left a lot to be desired. The staff seemed unsure about the menu and weren't aware of what was available. It was also off-putting to overhear them having side conversations about the two customers sitting at the bar. I've heard good things about this place, but based on my experience, I don't think I'd go back.

Carrie W.

Yelp
My daughter and I went here for lunch . The bartender was awesome. We shared some oysters and fish and chips. I had a Bloody Mary that was really good and she had a aperol spritz. The vibe is fab inside and out

Yelp
Food was insanely good. The atmosphere was such a vibe. The manager Mike, was fantastic, and took such great care of our large group. Will be back soon.

Yelp
I'm an oyster lover and been wanting to check out Pearl Dive Oyster Bar for a while. Finally got to check out their lovely happy hour. We sat at the Oyster Bar. I like to sit there and watch them shuck all the oysters. Which they were going quick! It was about 4:30 when I arrived and the restaurant filled up quickly after. We ordered a dozen gulf oysters, $1 margaritas, moules frites and squid ink calamari. Our waiter was nice and attentive. He did come back to say that they were already out of gulf Coast oysters and they brought us a variety of east coast oysters. I do wish though we were explained which each type of oyster was. So I could note which ones I liked best. Even better we were still charged $1 per oyster. Everything was delicious. The portions were large and I liked they paired each plate with sourdough bread. Between the two of us we were stuffed. Can't wait to come back for some more oysters and try the main menu!

Yelp
I am a bit disappointed with my dish. Ordered the mahi mahi fish tacos and the fish didn't taste too fresh and therefore the scent was too pungent for me. Fries were decent, nothing special. This place is a little pricey for the quality. I came here starving but couldn't even finish two tacos. The waitress that took over after the first one was nice. Very beautifully decorated on the inside. There is free parking in the back garage.

Yelp
Food was amazing and Sarah's service was exceptional. The FRESH oysters, mussels, wedge salad, blini's then the chocolate cake were so good. Very happy gals when we left.

Yelp
I'm so excited to give a 5+ star review for Pearl&Fin aka Pearl Dive. We have 12+ visits here and always love the food and staff. Ceviche is unique and awesome, it is always what we get, next is calamari. The scallops are incredible as well as a halibut that comes out so tasty. The ambience is upscale and inviting. Parking is so easy, free and plentiful ! Great place and highly recommended!

Yelp
Thanks for closing your restaurant on my wife's bday with zero notice. Zero stars. And I had a reservation. What a joke. Had to scramble in the rain to find a place to eat.

Yelp
Overall a solid restaurant. They are now called 'Pearl & Fin Oyster Bar'. Legal issue with the restaurant by the Pearl Dive name in DC. - Parking, especially for the west end of Austin was fantastic (on a Saturday night anyway). Compared to other restaurants on the west end of Austin, parking here was excellent! - Server was enthusiastic. Lacked knowledge on the menu. - Good selection of cocktails, beer & wine. Reasonably priced. - Oyster selection was great. Wide range and selection and several were excellent! - You've seen the comments on the lobster roll. - Overall decent menu. We would definitely go again.

Yelp
We have been waiting an hour for our drinks.... My friends and I were so excited to try this place out. We ordered a glass of champagne, an Aperol Sprits and an Aviation (not a super common cocktail but a classic) took the server around 20 minutes to tell me they couldn't make an aviation... so I ordered a cosmo, then another 20 to say that they were out of Aperol... we are still waiting... Oh and the glass of champagne didn't seem to be filled up all the way... but who knows their standard pour... We just got the check... final thoughts: Food was great, I felt bad for the server because we were obviously upset... and it wasn't her fault, but she could have communicated better. In the end it's on the bartender to manage the wopping 4 tables in the restaurant. They were kind enough to comp our drinks though. May give it another try. (Hire a new bartender or have more then one)

Yelp
The service was outstanding, and the food was amazing. 10/10 recommend. Mike, the owner, was a great example of how you treat customers when they come through the doors. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Our group definitely felt spoiled!

Yelp
Wwowowow!!! 5 stars for food, ambiance, and service here. Came in for their HH as a Birthday dinner and nothing was disappointing. Oysters, shrimp cocktail, Branzino, Charred Octopus, Lobster Roll, Tuna Tartare, and lamb chops were all a hit. They make an excellent martini, and had a great wine list. Our server (I believe his name was Chaz or Chad) was awesome and attentive. This is located in the old sushi zushi spot in the strip mall right next to Mean Eyed Cat. Free parking in the garage behind it. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
The service there was good. The people greet you very nicely on the way in and take you to your table. No I don't know if it was because it was their soft opening that things were just kind of a mess. A lot of our food did take a really long time and our bill at the end was kind of a hot mess as well. Our drinks would also take a really long time to arrive and then we were getting wrong drinks or just some of them we're getting forgot to be brought to us. The place is super cute and Instagram worthy and date night worthy or fun time with the girls kind of worthy. As for the food I have to say I was not fully impressed. The oysters I got were good, but I was kind of turned off that they were not as cold as they should be they felt a little warm. The muscles that we ordered and chorizo were so good, but I will say for the price there is barely any muscles and a couple of them came fully shut, which you're not supposed to eat. We also got the octopus, it was OK. It was a little chewy. The french fries were typical no big deal. We also got the lobster pasta which was nice. I have to say the sauce so it was good. I can't say that I love the calamari. It just had a great taste to it. We also got the Barato which was nice and refreshing that's not really a hard dish to mess up. My friend got the clams in linguine and she said that it was tasty and OK. My other friend ordered the scallops and she said that it was not worth the price, but they were not that well done. We also had the ceviche and it was nothing special to it. Lastly, my friend ordered the fish and she did say that that one was delicious for her. So overall the taste of the food does have to be worked on and especially the temperature of the oysters, or freshness of them.

Yelp
I really wanted to enjoy this new restaurant but the service just wasn't there for me. My first hint that things might not be great was the fact there was only 3 tables on a Saturday night. Server told me multiple times that WC oysters were $1, of course after I ordered them he said they weren't and he had his days confused. Then my friend and I both ordered clam chowder, 10 min after ordering he informs us that they are out. For being so dead how are you not aware, or informed of these things?! To end, my friend asks for an espresso. It finally comes, splashing all over the cup only to discover that it's barely lukewarm. How does that even happen?! He even said that he'd have to turn the machine back on, a disappointing way to end the meal. Food were did have, lobster roll and ceviche, was good. I'll try again but won't have my hopes up too high.

Yelp
I made a yelp account just for this review. I want to let the world know how terrible this place was. We saw the 25 cent oyster deal that they were having from 2pm-6pm and grabbed a 5:30pm reservation. The moment we walked in, we saw what looked like an angry mob waiting by the hostess stand. It was immediately apparent that we weren't going to be seated any time soon. I wish I was kidding when I say that we waited 35 mins to be seated. I still regret not saving our time and just leaving the restaurant altogether. Slowly, people that had been waiting just for some sort of acknowledgement from the staff, began to leave. They were severely understaffed and I understand how hectic things can get - but maybe try to at least acknowledge the guests that have been waiting for 30+ mins. Finally, a frantic looking server sat us down at a table. At this point, we're just trying to get seated, get our 25 cent oysters, and get out. It was without surprise that it took an extra 20 mins just for us to get water. Once we got our water, we ordered oysters - they had set a limit to one dozen for the table. They were also going to be served in half dozen increments. Seeing that it took us over an hour to get seated and talk to a server, things weren't looking up for us. Sure enough, another 20 minutes passes until our oysters are served. Finally, we are getting what we came for. This very brief moment of happiness passed when we were told that they ran out of oysters and we weren't able to get a full dozen; the cherry on top. I'm the type to go to a restaurant, get my food, and leave quickly. I never look to speak to a manager. In this case, I wish I had the opportunity to do so. However, he didn't even look in our direction or acknowledge the disaster that his restaurant was going through. Not even a simple "thanks for stopping by and hanging in there". Crickets. Offering a deal like this is guaranteed to offer mayhem. I understand that. What I don't understand is how you're not prepared for it once you push this deal out. Credit to the servers for doing their best under the circumstances. All in, we spent over an hour and half of our time for 9 oysters. We left defeated.

Yelp
No review based on the food because apparently the times they have listed on their site is inaccurate. I traveled for work and wanted to treat myself to a nice restaurant after a long shift. Saw great reviews about this place and decided to Uber there. Website stated they closed at 11pm. When I got there it was slightly almost 10 o'clock. Sadly approached the door to notice that it was empty. Had to wait around for my next Uber. I was highly HIGHLY disappointed. ( Also called twice before arrival and received no answer) highly recommend changing your hours if you're not actually going to be open!

Yelp
I've been in the food industry all of my life. More specifically waiting tables. That being said, my wife and I came in today for the national oyster day as they were selling 25c oysters. We arrive around 4:30. The restaurant wasn't too busy at all. But we quickly realized that they must be understaffed. Almost every employee seemed flustered and in the weeds. It took 25 min for our raw oysters to come to the table. During that time we weren't checked on once. During that 25 minutes they kept seating more and more tables. And none of those tables were tended too in any sort of timely matter. As a business owner. If you are understaffed. PUT PEOPLE ON A WAIT. Instead they continued to provide terrible service to everyone. Especially at a restaurant like this where you will probably be racking up a solid tab you should be giving the service people are paying for. I understand being understaffed. But there are ways you can go about that and keep a steady flow. After our oysters arrived (our waitress wasn't the one to bring them) we finished them after about 15 min and our waitress STILL hadn't checked on us since the beginning. I had to literally approach her and ask for our check so we could get out of there. So many other good spots in Austin for Oysters. Don't waste your time here! Also. What looked like the owner ( he was the only person wearing more casual clothes) literally was bussing a table and was using his bare hand to wipe down the condensation marks from the old glasses. If these are the things this restaurant does in plain site of the guest. Only God knows what happens in the kitchen where the customers can't see.

Yelp
This place had an amazing happy hour $1 margaritas and $1 oysters. This was an amazing deal and I actually found a pearl in my oyster here!

Yelp
Truly so good! We went on a Saturday night and had phenomenal service. Food was amazing! Absolutely loved

Yelp
Positives: The oysters were really fresh and tasty. The restaurant itself is really nice inside and our server was very attentive and did a great job. Also, the drinks we ordered were tasty. Not so positive: Pretty much everything else. We ordered crab claws, lobster roll and calamari. Portion sizes were way too small for all of the dishes. Also, the lobster roll was obviously made with previously frozen lobster (not what I was expecting when it costs $40). The calamari tasted overdone and not very pleasant. Overall, the food was lacking. It's a shame because it's a great location.
