Twas the first time visiting this farmer's market in Pearl area! There are many shops open on the street and making those streets lively and fun! Many interesting items are sold over there! I was expecting like veggies and fruits but more like handmade items, crafts, soaps, candles, leather arts etc. Besides that, there are many food courts and eateries are available on both street and inside the building! A fun place to look around! If you come here during the weekend then you have a parking spot near and $11 for the whole day which we paid for. Come check it out! Cheers 🥂

We visited on February 2, 2025. This winter Sunday morning the skies were clear and it was a crisp 70° outside. Our plan was to browse and have breakfast. When we entered, the first vendor was Puro Pork. The free sample was enough to make us want more. Cerviche Pork comes with pickled red onion and fresh guacamole. Three corn chips fried to order. The cook was friendly and shared his cooking method. It is slow smoked in a pit that I had never seen before. The entire visit was genuine and helpful. We visited others vendors and tasted some delicious treats. This was definitely a Sunday to remember.

The weekend Farmers Market offers a diverse selection of locally sourced products, ranging from artisanal soaps to gourmet foods. Parking is a flat fee of $10. While the prices reflect the premium quality of the local goods, a visit is worthwhile.

We try to come to the Farmer’s Market every other month and we always have a good time! Great food and professional vendors! I found a beautiful glass tray for my jewelry this trip. The Tamales from La Hacienda were very good!

Google
One of my favorite farmer’s markets I’ve visited. The food and drink stands all looked delicious and the art stands were so beautiful. The area it’s located in is also super pretty. I did have to pay like $28 for parking at one of the garages which was kind of a lot.

Great place to do a lot of things, events going on every weekend, different places to eat within walking distance, always a new experience!

The migas & quesadillas from Ancient Heirloom Grains were fantastic. The corn used to make them is both a healthier option & truly scrumptious. The Pullman was also a cool area within the market that was new to me. The plums & peaches I had were simply divine.

We loved it & everyone loved Milo. Very dog friendly . Will be back , we missed so much , COME EARLY!

Yelp
So much variety and fun! You can get anything from food and drinks to unique, handmade gifts and souvenirs. Lots of vendors and each are very friendly and welcoming. It gets a little loud and crowded in the morning but gets a little quieter in the afternoon!

Yelp
We checked out the Pearl Farmers market the other day and it was soo fun! This is a pretty big farmer's market with a lot of food options to choose from. We just got coffee and beignets. The coffee was ok but the beignets were delicious! A pillowy piece of fried dough covered in powered sugar. Can't go wrong with that haha. They were huge too! There were so many food options to choose from we didn't know what else to get and was already full from the beignets. But everything else did look good and I would come back again! The area itself at the Pearl is such a nice place too to walk around and shop.

Yelp
While in town, we walked over to the Pearl district and found ourselves amongst dozens of other people cheerfully walking up and down the street admiring the goods of the farmers market. There was no shortage of unique and artisan items to browse. I love how these little markets are becoming more popular and are expanding to more than just fruits and vegetables. We bought organic cleaning supplies, sourdough bread and dog treats. There was even live music setting the mood for the Saturday morning.

Jess C.

Yelp
This was really fun! They had a great variety of local vendors, and lots of them were sampling.

Nayra B.

Yelp
This Farmer's Market was huge! I went to the Pearl a couple of Saturday's ago and was impressed by all of the vendors. It was absolutely packed with people, and almost just as many dogs, snacking on food from the stalls and purchasing a whole bunch of fresh produce from local farmers and ranchers. There were a ton of things to see, musicians to stop and listen to, and samples to try. I think my favorite booths were for the beeswax candles, some of which looked to pretty to ever light, and the locally made jams that came in so many unique flavors. I know Sundays at the Market are more geared towards home goods and crafts, so I will most definitely be returning to see all of the art as it's more up my alley than food alone. I'll just have to be sure to wear more sunscreen next time!

Jaesel P.

Yelp
Going to the Pearls Farmers Market is one of my favorite activities to do on weekends ! You can find a variety of goodies here from fresh produce, flowers, wines, desserts, pet friendly foods etc! A friend of mine also bought a leather wallet at one stand and it's such good quality! It's a beautiful view even if you just walk by it but make sure to check out their salads from seasonal farms salads ! Some of the yummiest salads I've ever had. It's also a place for a cute date spot! For friends, family, and couples. Most of the time there is someone playing an instrument giving ambiance to the market. It's open rain or shine (except extreme severe weather right) but I've gone during raining time and it's also a fun experience if you enjoy rain. Definitely a 10/10 farmers market !

Yelp
I've heard that this is the biggest and this is the best farmer's market in San Antonio. I mean, if this is the case, it's a complete let down. This is my second visit and it wasn't any better than the first. The first time, I thought maybe I came too late and farmers packed up after selling out. No. On my more recent visit, I thought maybe because it's cold. I'm making excuses for the fact that this is not an actual farmer's market, rather a market for vendors. Which is totally cool, but misleading. First, the parking. Apparently there is a garage where you can park for free for two hours. I didn't see this. We parked in the parking lot and it was $11.30 for the day. Apparently, the first 30 minutes are free. I'm not sure how that works. I scanned and had to pay. I don't know how you get 30 minutes free since it seems like unless parking attendants are marking vehicles, no one would know if you are within 30 minutes. If anyone figures this out, I suggest running through the market to see if it's worthwhile to pay for a day's parking. Trust me, it will not take 30 minutes. You can find vendors selling breads, baked goods, dog treats, wine, jams, soaps, lotions, juices, kombucha, some meats and dairy products, lots of prepared food and food kits, and wooden products. There were maybe two farms with produce and micro greens, but very few options. I didn't find wheatgrass, which was really what I've been searching for. The major highlight was finding OroBianco peddling gelato in 39° temperatures! YES! That was worth the cost of parking. They had a lychee and lime which I had not had at either location before. It was like a taste of summer! I will add that I was happy with my purchases from SoCo Ginger Beer (an Austin business) and Over Juiced (San Antonio). The extra ginger beer is phenomenal. I bought three juices from Over Juiced, but have only tried The Kicker, which lives up to its name. There are much bigger and better markets, unfortunately, you have to make a day trip to find them. I'd opt for the market at Republic Square in Austin, the Dallas Farmer's market, or the Houston Farmers market for really fantastic produce selections.

Yelp
A big farmers market on Saturday and Sunday, they had about 40 vendors and it was a mix of everything local from organic products to restaurant food. Most of the vendors have samples for their food and a lot of the vendors have unique products. You only need about an hour or two here to check out all of the vendors and grad some food & coffee to relax in the park nearby. Friendly vendors and great location for a farmers market

Anja B.

Yelp
Great place. The atmosphere is wonderful. Pet friendly and the vendor options are plenty.

Poonam S.

Yelp
Parking: free street parking or in the parking garage next to Hotel Emma for 2 hours. Other lots, you'll have to pay for I love coming down to the Pearl on Saturday mornings! Beautiful set up with baked goods, coffee, fruits, vegetables, food etc. The vegetables from the farm are very fresh. We usually get some vegetables from Braune Farms stall such as broccoli, carrots, & especially the arugula!! Highly recommend for Saturday mornings. Come hungry!!

Sweet C.

Yelp
It was nice. My husband and I drove in from Houston and ate at one the restaurants and walked around through the shops. An outside band would've been nice and maybe face painting for the kids or something. It was Labor Day weekend. They could've done a little something to joosh it up. Just tables on turf with kids running around in the center courtyard. Not a must see if you're a tourist. More like if you live there and you want to have a day date or get the family out of the house and eat and shop. Someone was going to propose and the decorators were there ..

Alexandra M.

Yelp
Lavender candied pecans, gelato, super sweet beignets, honey, and many more amongst the fun atmosphere that is the Pearl! I love how after strolling thru what the farmer's market has to offer, you can have brunch outside, have the kids play in the ground water fountains, have a wide selection of spots for a refreshing beer or cocktail. For how busy is does become, there is plenty of parking where the first couple of hours is free and then you pay by the hour but I forgot the rates.

Kristin K.

Yelp
Super good family fun. Food is great. Always some live entertainment to find. Farmers markets!!! Fun fun

Terri N.

Yelp
Here for my weekly grocery shopping and more! This is such a treat for me! I get my dose of EVERYTHING! They have the best food vendors, fruits and vegetables, coffee, popcorn and peanuts and more!

Sabrina S.

Yelp
Decided to get away for a few hours from the stresses of life and hit the Pearl. Even better was finding out that weekends are Farmer's Market Days. Lots of stands with locals selling things from lavender soaps to delicious BBQ. Strolled around and snacked on local BBQ brisket and pastrami- juicy, tasty, with a bit of fat, and dipped into a a spicy mustard. Ogled the huge cookies at another stand...we'll have to come back another weekend and arrive at an earlier time. We did hit Lick Honest Ice Creams for some dairy free dessert : ) Lots of families and people enjoying the beautiful Sunday lounging , laughing, eating , drinking , and strolling the Pearl and market. Very enjoyable, we'll have to come back! Free 2 hour parking in a lot across from the Pearl.

Yelp
I love going to Pearl! The Pearl has so many different markets... they always keep it interesting. Aside from the regular farmers market that happens on Saturdays and Sundays, they also have their Summer Night Markets, Summer Block Party, Harvest Night Market, Dia de los Muertos festival and their Holiday Night Markets (I've been to them all). Each market is well decorated to fit the season and has lovely vendors. You can buy adult beverages and food to walk around and enjoy while you shop as well. This is a great place to bring company to and a fun place to visit. I'll be at the next market for sure!

Heidi A.

Yelp
Potentially because of the cold rainy day, there was hardly any vendors there at the market when I went. And it was mostly food vendors. Not that many crafts. Maybe we will try again when it's a much nicer day out.

Ashley W.

Yelp
There is a wonderful Brazilian food stand! The chicken croquettes ($7) were delicious! Best thing we ate at this place. The outside breading features slightly larger granules (it reminds me of those Dino nuggets we ate as kids) that are SUPER crunchy. There is also an inner mochi-like layer that is more gelatinous. The inside filling is delicious! We got both sauces and added them to the other savory items we got. The cheese bread was yummy! It always surprises me how hard and dry it looks on the outside, but how chewy and flavorful it is. We also got the Bavarian creme donut. It was delicious! Not too sweet. Outside dough was fluffy and not greasy. The inside cream was lovely. Lastly, we tried the ham and cheese kolache. This kolache bread is interesting. It is not like normal donut shop kolache with their almost hot-dog style bun texture. The dough was lighter in color and had less fluffy texture but more of a crunch. It was good but not my favorite! The employees were so kind. It seems to be a family business!

Jennine K.

Yelp
Great place to spend time on a weekend! I love trying new things at all the different booths. Especially loved the curry sauerkraut from the pickle booth.

Amie N.

Yelp
The Pearls Farmers Market is probably one of my favorite things to go to here in San Antonio. The area is so beautiful and fun to walk around. There are a lot of different vendors, from food, plants, drinks, and more! It's always fun walking around to see what's being sold. There are seating areas scattered throughout and the farmers market is surrounded by other shops and restaurants. All of the vendors are super friendly and excited to talk about their products, so don't hesitate to come up and ask. There are usually a lot of dogs here and it's fun to see all of them walking around with their owners. The vibes are always super nice and when the weather is good, it is an especially amazing time. I visited when it was a little drizzly and rainy, but there was still a lot of people there! The weather didn't dampen the mood at all and I still had a great time.

Mark B.

Yelp
Nice Farmer's Market in the heart of the Pearl. Good local products from Meats & Produce locally grown to pottery, crafts and food from local eateries. Probably about 20- 30 booths or more depending on the weekend. Parking is close so you won't have to walk far. There are plenty of good restaurants and some small shops in and around the Pearl. Also, if you want you can catch a River Taxi and it will take you downtown to the Riverwalk and back. On and off privileges the entire stretch of the river.

Renee J.

Yelp
As far as markets go, this one has it all. I love the vendors that are regulars ; wine, fine crafts, produce and foods, they have it all! I love that I can enjoy the market vendors along with the restaurants and shops at the Pearl. The regular vendors all have high quality products and no matter what I buy, I am always very satisfied. The environment is casual and relaxing and it is just a fun place to hang out for a while and relax.

Amanda M.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for a good farmer's market and this one did not disappoint. In case you're new, the building allows free parking for the first 2 hours in the parking garage. Everywhere else is paid parking. They have several vendors here. I want to say 80% of them on a Sunday, sell food and snacks. The other 20% sell goods. I pretty much purchased food from every vendor. It was alllllll amazing. Decently priced too. And there are so many people that swing through. Everyone brings their animals... I say animals because apparently it's not just dogs... but goats too! I'm hoping to stop by on a Saturday to see what they offer. I'm used to picking up flowers when I'm at the farmer's market but I didn't see any vendors for that on the Sundays that I've been.

Melissa G.

Yelp
One of THE BEST Farmers Market to come to when in or visiting San Antonio. First off it is located within the streets (no cars allowed up and down near the shops) within the historic Pearl district / area. There are plenty of local and nearby the SA area vendors that sell everything from herbs and plants to homemade scratch bagels and breads. You will also find great food, fantastic art, and super unique gifts. Parking near the Pearl is $8 to be within walking distance to the shops and vendors. Free parking or cheap parking (meters) can be found in the streets up and down around the Premium parking areas. Depending on what time you arrive you may have to drive around to find a good spot. The earlier you get down the better with parking spots. This is another great spot to bring the kids to play in the huge green grassy area and FREE splash pad they have in the center of the Pearl. There are restrooms near by for you to change your kiddos (or yourself) so that you can cool off and enjoy the summer breeze under a nice umbrella at a table with seats around the grassy area. This is a picture perfect spot for the family to chill out, relax, have some beer or cold lemonade, and check out all the historic buildings that surround you. Saturday and Sundays are the Farmer Market days so be sure to come down early, hang out late, and enjoy the sunny side of San Antonio.

Yelp
Honestly a little nerve-wrecking during the COVID crisis. Lines and crowds. Some people don't wear masks nor maintain 6 feet apart. With that said, come at your own risk. I know it's outdoors and there's this gray area about being outdoors and wearing a mask. If you're gonna be within 6 ft of a person - wear a mask. With that said, please come prepared because it has been hard to maintain distance during the farmer's market. Lots of options to shop and try local flavors. Great way to spend a Saturday or Sunday morning walking around and people watch.

Edmarie L.

Yelp
My favorite way to spend a Saturday. I love all the vendors and always find something new and interesting to try.

Isabel C.

Yelp
Wanted to try a beignet which reminds us of New Orleans market Cafe Du Monde. I'am at Saturday's Pearl farmers market. Where I found the delicious Beignets with different fillings.

Fernanda F.

Yelp
Pearl's Farmers Market is one of my favorite things to do on a Saturday or Sunday morning. You can find all sorts of products from fresh veggies, organic eggs, cheeses, salsas, bread and even doggie treats. Another cool thing about the market is that you can come here and grab a cup of coffee and breakfast while walking around the different vendors. I always like to stop by the CIA (Culinary Institute of America) to see what they are cooking and support the students; today they had chicken and brisket tacos. At the market you can also find beer and wine near the Bottling Department or at Southerleigh. During the summer, the kiddos can play in the water fountain and take a break from the sun. This place is also super dog friendly, but I would suggest to get here early because it can get too hot for the puppies. Come and do some shopping while supporting local businesses!

Dee C.

Yelp
Not like the markets back home, but a really good selection of wares, goods & entertainment. Beautiful setting. Great location. Plenty of parking. Quite a few food vendors of you're going with the family, all are sure to find something they'll like to eat. Then, sit down in a chair, or on the turf & enjoy the sights & sounds of the Pearl Distict. Afterwards, take a walk along the beautiful Riverwalk, or head into the Emma Koehler Hotel. Its gorgeous. If you have time, check out their beer selections. If you don't see the vendor you're looking for, ask - the other vendors are helpful, and not rude when inquiring. Honestly, this area is one of my favorite areas of San Antonio now. It's been cleaned up nicely.

Toni S.

Yelp
Just left Pearl Farmers Market and we enjoyed it. It is a Farmers Market for those with gourmet taste. I love the restaurants with indoor and outdoor dining are right there with all of the Farmers Market delectables. We didn't purchase anything but we will be back.

Dennis S.

Yelp
The Pearl Farmers Market has been part of my weekend plans since it began with a couple stalls in the breezeway of the Good Foods building. Now it's a sprawling market filled with fresh produce, meats, food, and music in the spacious lawn area. Love the Pearl and love the farmers market, plus it's dog friendly !

Deb P.

Yelp
Very authentic, festive atmosphere. Great places to shop and eat. Mi Terra is a very popular place to eat.

Josiah G.

Yelp
Normally a 5 star place. However, stopped yesterday and rolled out quick. They crammed most vendors in one area still. Even though the had plenty of open space to stretch everyone out. Masks weren't being enforced for some folks. Moose Out

Ian S.

Yelp
Great spot for a variety of local foods and snacks. Lines can be a little long but worth it. Pet friendly and seating is available but limited. Parking is free and restrooms on-site. Not much for fresh or locally grown produce. Prepared foods mostly.

Sj G.

Yelp
I've been before when we first move. Today I came alone and took pics as it's fiesta time here. I picked up a cute fiesta top for my dog. I admired some pottery items for the patio and picked up some more items for the patio. Support small businesses is something I love to do.

Dixie B.

Yelp
If you're visiting San Antonio, you MUST visit The Pearl on a Saturday or Sunday morning. There are little tent stands all over, and you can get everything from boiled peanuts (Okay, Okay. I'm a Carolina girl, NOT a Texan; boiled peanuts are Everything.) to grass-fed beef to vegetables to homemade soaps. There are also full service restaurants and an indoor area with several food booths at The Pearl, so your choices are almost endless. If you are gluten-intolerant, there is a tent for gluten-free crepes, Crepelandia, so indulge your untamed and unfulfilled desires for crepes. Maybe you have children. Kids love coming here in warm weather (which is most of the time) and playing in the water fountains, or playing on the artificial grass courts. Dogs are here in droves, too, so go ahead and bring Rover. People love to come here for photo sessions, so you may see everything from a magazine shoot to selfies going on. It's all good! Pull out your phone, your camera or your Go Pro. Finally, there is often a musician playing some cool music near the water fountains. And, don't miss the guy playing the didgeridoo.

Paul D.

Yelp
Upon arriving at the Pearl Brewery I noticed a large crowd and limited parking. As it turned out a farmers market was going on. The streets with the brewery were closed of to vehicles in exchange for canopies selling a variety of products. There was fresh fruit, eggs, coffee, and drinks to residents and guests to enjoy. It was setup very nice leaving the green space free for kids to play on and an entertainer playing music. This market is traditional where will it find the tacky Mexican souvenirs sold here. It just a great place to gather and hangout with your kids and/or pets.

Michelle W.

Yelp
I love this place! We found street parking without any issues and we were happy since we were not sure the parking lots charged or not. I am really digging the ambiance here and I love that the historic Brewhouse is in the background. The Culinary Institute of America is also here. The landscape here is beautiful(xeriscaping). They have a splash pad running even when it was drizzling when we went. They meant it when they said the Farmers Market was rain or shine. I want to come back here to try the restaurants in the area along with the food from the booths. I was full from breakfast so I just browsed the vendors and the cool area this place is at. They have live music here too. Who doesn't like that?

Mason A.

Yelp
So many good local food, drink, and handmade things to be found at the booths here at The Pearl! My favorite stops are the Artisan Empanadas and the What's Brewing Coffee tents as I take a late morning stroll here on the weekends. Now, it is especially busy during the Christmas time. There are circles drawn out to sit in with your party. Most people bring their pets here, as well. Some people do not handle their dogs the best, so be careful. We actually had our dog get chased down by a dog who got off leash and pursued us. Not the best experience, but just be forewarned and if you want to avoid crowds come by early especially before 11am.

Madison W.

Yelp
fantastic farmer's market. cute stalls with vendors selling sourdough bread to soap to oatmeal to produce. Great restaurants, cafes and bars circle the inside area which has cute bistro tables and chairs.

Alex Dickey D.

Yelp
So many shops with everything that you will need in a nuclear war, the best crapes you will ever try for sure, really good kombucha, etc SO MANY THINGS TO FIND HERE

Brandon A.

Yelp
There are many farmers markets around San Antonio on the weekend, but The Pearl Farmers market is the biggest so far. Just like any market, they have vendors that sell anything from fresh produce, pastries, beer to food and more. I personally like the plant vendor stands, especially the succulents. One food stand I recommend trying is called "Mings Things". It is Asian cuisine that sells steamed pork buns that are delicious. What makes this market more unique to its competitors is also the location. It is located in the Pearl Brewery area and is beautiful to walk around with the family. They have farmers markets at the Pearl every Saturday and Sunday. Be sure to come early so you can find a good parking spot since this place gets packed quick.

Donna B.

Yelp
Much like many large city farmers markets I have been to. This Saturday morning event is a bustling place taking up all the Pearl District. You'll need to wander up and down the side streets as well at the main square. This makes it a perfect venue- not crowded as the vendors are spread out over a decent sized area. And so many unique vendors- not just all the local farmers with fresh produce, but local butcher, gluten free bakery, soaps, doggie treats and so much more. Come early and take your time checking the area out, and if you're not too full from samples, grab a lunch bite in one of the nearby fabulous restaurants. I highly recommend walking in from the Riverwalk since parking was at a premium.

Monica O.

Yelp
Heard about Pearl Farmers Market from SA Yelper Curt and Megan and knew I had to go check it out. Arrived a little after 11 on a Saturday morning and this place was poppin! Local farmers and vendors from all over. From fresh beef, poultry, pork, eggs, veggies, to hand crafted items, and herbal remedies, if you are looking for it, I am sure you will find it! Parking could be a pain, but just be patience and you will find a spot. One of the booths was a mushroom grower, and he had some good looking mushrooms, even found some good looking oyster mushrooms and became sad because I had no way of keeping them fresh to get home and experiment with. This is the farmers market experience I have been seeking and am extremely jealous the people of San Antonio get to enjoy it every weekend. If you are in the area for the weekend, go check out the farmers market!

Michael R.

Yelp
Tons of stuff to see! Dog friendly which was nice! Tons of food vendors, a tad over priced but it's fine!

Jay J.

Yelp
This is truly one of San Antonio's gems! Weekends are good because of the market and plenty of fresh food that are farm to market. Even more special is the choice of restaurants that you can enjoy while you are perusing around and spending time at the Pearl. Also, the Pearl is a alcohol friendly place on weekends so feel free to stop at some of the locations around that offer beer and wine sales to go.

Cameron C.

Yelp
Not sure how to write a review about a farmers market so this review will focus on the atmosphere. I was there last night on a run along the river. You can walk clear back to the hotel and restaurant zone in down town from the pearl which is a nice safe walk. This is an incredible place with a great urban vibe. It's all redone and gentrified and super upscale. Haven't tried the restaurants but they look super expensive. The food court has lots of good options for $12 though. It's a great place to take photos and just relax with a group or play frisbee on the turf. It's just a bummer that many of the shops and boutiques close so early. The night life there is nice and it would be nice if the stores opened a bit later. But as far as beauty goes, you won't find anything better anywhere in Texas at least. A photographers dream. I'll post several photos I took last night. Also, this used to be an industrial brewery from before the prohibition period and then It was Pabst blue ribbon until that went under. So they've done a great job with the restoration which brings up the whole area.

Gabi M.

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of Farmers Markets and this one is no exception... Pearl Farmers Market is the place to be on Saturday mornings, or at least it was when I headed over in early May... I love that you can walk here via the Riverwalk, but depending on what you purchase, you may need a ride home! This place offers an awesome selection of everything from fresh produce to coffee, pastries, and food you can enjoy on the spot. There's local music, local crafts, and tons of great people watching. In addition to the outdoor vendors, there are local storefronts including high end boutiques, the famous Bakery Lorraine, and so much more. As others have mentioned Pearl Farmers Market is dog and kid-friendly! I'd be a regular if I lived in San Antonio for sure. Enjoy!
