Pearl’s Review - West Hollywood - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"The guys behind Rock N’ Reilly’s opened Pearl’s directly next door to be the kind of fun, all-day hangout the Sunset Strip desperately needed. Mission accomplished. Home to one of the most underrated rooftop patios in the city, Pearl’s is also a weekend brunch titan. Design your ideal egg benedict or get creative with the “Mimosa Kit”: a tableside, make-your-own-mimosa situation that comes with the purchase of any champagne bottle. Outside of brunch, Pearl’s also has a happy hour that keeps the place full well into the evening." - Brant Cox

The menu is kind of set up weird. Would prefer if they put all the milk teas together. They have some unique milk tea flavors like horchata and tiramisu. Came here twice, and it was great both times. The honey boba is really good. Overall a bit on the pricey side if you get a boba drink…$7-8, but it’s a nice treat, especially if you’re in the area checking out the shops. They also have a stamp card.

Great service and quick too. Got a Matcha and Taro milk tea both with boba and REALLY good. I think this was the first time I stopped and thought about how good the boba pearls tasted. Coming here as much as I can .

My girlfriend and I were craving boba after eating at Jon & Vinny's so we decided to check this place out. If you like boba shops that honestly care about whether you enjoyed your drink, this is your place. Every time a drink goes out, they let the customer know that any adjustment can be made if they don't like it. As someone who's made drinks at a cafe, I know how annoying it can get when customers constantly ask for adjustments so I was blown away by this. As for our drink, we decided to get a mango peach green tea w/honey boba. It was our first time, so I really appreciated how the cashier walked us through what flavor combos were popular and what flavors complimented each other. The drink itself was good, but the texture of the boba was a bit tough. I'm sure they would've swapped out the topping if we asked but being a former cafe worker, my sympathy got the better of me so I held my tongue. I don't hold this against them so I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area again! They have a lot of specialty drinks that all look very good.

Pearls Finest Teas is like a hidden gem I say like, because it is in the famous Fairfax street where all Streetwear retail is located. It also doesn’t have a flashy sign so it’s very low key. Every time I’ve been staff has been so delightful, every boba rista has been knowledgeable and they just make really good drinks. I’ve tried 3 out of their not so sure how many signature drinks they have but all have been different and good ! What made one of their drinks stand out to me is their Los Angeles Dirt drink, it’s so good, salty and sweet and they do it oh so well. Parking is street parking so typical for Los Angeles. And vibes are good it’s a very in and out type of place, but you’re able to chill there. Definitely come here for your authentic boba needs and take a loyalty stamp card cause it’s there for a reason.

I got the black tea 0% sugar with sea salt foam. I thought the foam would be sweet, but it was fully salty. The tea was good and the drink was refreshing, but for the price it was just ok.

The menu is very unique. Defineitely a place i will come back to. The atmosphere is relaxing. One thing to point out is that the food menu is very minimal.

I used to love this place. I ordered a matcha rose milk tea with boba 1/4 sweetness. It is completely unpalatable and tastes like thick sludge through the straw and as sweet as an entire box of sugar was tossed in. $10 in the trash. Literally.

On my first visit, I got the frosted milk with boba and caramel pudding! It was a pretty unique flavor, which was fun. I wish there had been more caramel pudding though - felt like it disappeared quickly! Was a bit disappointed on our second visit as we had to wait 20 min for boba (guess they ran out but I feel like they should’ve been a bit more on top of supply on a weekend afternoon). Got a custom tea and mixed the taro with coconut and really liked how it turned out. Would definitely run - fingers crossed there’s no wait for boba next time!
