Nestled in Fishtown, Pearl's On The Corner is an inviting cocktail bar serving delectable bites into the late hours, perfect for a relaxed night out.
"Pearl’s On The Corner is a perfect pit stop before or after dinner elsewhere in the neighborhood. The loud, low-lit space has plenty of space for dates and small groups, and the straightforward cocktail menu can work for pretty much everyone. The food leaves a lot to be desired—with the exception of some top notch french fries that would make Ronald McDonald jealous—so stick to bevvies here (though a dirty martini pairs perfectly with said fries). photo credit: CANDIS R. MCLEAN Food Rundown photo credit: Alison Kessler Baby Gem Caesar A heavy-on-the-anchovy caesar? No complaints here. But this salad is more than just anchovy heavy—it’s sopping in dressing. Skip it. photo credit: Alison Kessler Fried Mozzarella It’s fried cheese, so we’re not going to complain. But the breading on these bad boys is too thick, and takes away from the flavor of the mozz. photo credit: Alison Kessler Meatballs These are more Sloppy Joe than meatballs. The sauce it’s served in has a nice sweet tang, but the meat itself is mushy and unpleasant to eat. photo credit: Alison Kessler French Fries Crispy, golden, delicious. Pony up the three bucks for the cooper sharp sauce on the side." - Alison B. Kessler
"Pearl’s On The Corner is a cocktail bar in Fishtown with a kitchen that stays open until 1am. When it comes to the drinks, expect a lot of bourbon and whiskey cocktails, over 20 beer options, and a few $7 wines by the glass. Pair them with a scallop crudo, shrimp cocktail, or anything else from the seafood-heavy food lineup. " - candis mclean, alison kessler
