Pearl’s Oyster Bar Review - Center City - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Reading Terminal Market is a scary and overwhelming place, with so many stalls and shops that it’s hard to know where to start. So after wasting an hour walking around and waiting in too many lines, make sure to end up at Pearl’s Oyster Bar. It won’t be the place with the longest line or the most people taking pictures, but they have a counter that usually has a seat or two open and some really damn good snapper soup." - Sydney McElwee

Pearls hasn't lost a step through the years. Food is still excellent. The oysters were fresh and delicious. I felt like i was on the coast. And the crab cakes - absurdly yummy! Clean, beautiful atmosphere and the service was top-notch! Oh, and the Bloody Mary was tops! Can't wait to go again for another Bloody Mary and some oysters!

We came here last night for my husband’s birthday celebration. Service was good. Anne’s crab dip was delicious. The jambalaya was tasty and the tilapia with red beans and rice was also good. We enjoyed our dinner.

Google
The food was pretty good - loved the shrimp creole. It tasted homemade. It was busy, but the staff were busting their behinds to provide good service. The crab dip was decent, but it would've been better on toast points.

If you're looking for a quiet, intimate spot for a date night, this restaurant is a hidden gem. In an era where peaceful dining is becoming harder to find, this place offers a relaxing ambiance that’s perfect for conversation and connection. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, and they truly made us feel welcome throughout the evening. The food did not disappoint either. We started with the Pearl's Famous Crab Cake. It was tasty, with a good balance of flavors, but it didn't quite compare to the exceptional quality found at Ramsey's Kitchen. Still, it was a satisfying appetizer to start the meal. For the main course, we enjoyed our dishes, but it was the dessert that stole the show. The Bananas Foster Bread Pudding was absolutely incredible. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—it's the kind of dessert that will have you thinking about it long after the meal is over. Overall, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit, and we will certainly be returning. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a quiet dinner, this place provides a memorable experience. Highly recommend!

Google
AMAZING restaurant! Visited this place on a Tuesday and they had a great deal on oysters all day. The oysters are fresh and delicious and come out quick. There is a variety of toppings that compliment them as well. The staff members are so kind and accommodating, they definitely go above and beyond to ensure your experience is phenomenal. I do have to give special recognition to the manager Isiah. He is an extremely intelligent young man and manages the restaurant like a pro. He made sure we were satisfied. He really sets the example. He does not stray from responsibility and he is extremely welcome. Honestly we felt like we were at a restaurant in France with a maître d'. I look forward to visiting this place again. Highly recommended.

Today, I went for the peel and eat shrimp, red beans, and rice, a side salad... and washed it down with a Pearls perfect margarita (made spicy). Everything was great, perfect usual. The service was on point.

Yelp
Oh my goodness.....it has been YEARS since I have been to a Pearls location. The last one I went to was in Norman and apparently closed years ago. I also enjoy their Crabtown location in Bricktown. When our daughter and son in law suggested this for Friday night, I jumped at the chance to have my first raw oysters of the year at happy hour prices of $1.50 per oyster! Well our visit was a complete success. We shared the shrimp cocktail that were priced for happy hour as well as a dozen of the Wharf Reef oysters from Louisiana (smaller than most gulf oysters - I like them that way). They had a really nice flavor and so very fresh. The shrimp were delectable as well. Hubby and I split the halibut with sauteed veggies and the kids ordered the blackened chicken pasta and the crawfish etoufee. Let me just tell you....the crawfish etoufee portion is HUGE. It was so tasty too. I would definitely order that if we go back when it is cold out again. That and some tasty french bread? Yummo! My son in law does not eat a lot of fish and he really enjoyed the blackened chicken pasta (for those of you who have a dining partner along that prefers chicken over seafood). Our waitress, Glendi, was very sweet, kind and patient with us. I would definitely ask for her section again! I enjoyed the gulf theme decor inside and especially the George Rodrigue "Blue Dog" print above the bar. Such a nice touch. I look forward to coming back. The happy hour alone is worth the trip!

Yelp
Food is 10/10 for weekend brunch until 2pm!! The portion was huge- 2 could share a plate! The andouille gravy over cheese grits - BOMB - don't sleep on it!!! The biscuits soft and fluffy, and chicken tenders cooked just right!!! Bloody Mary bar is fun, make it just like I like at home!!!! Bartender service was exceptional and quick and friendly, thank you Taylor!!!! Lots of seating on at Saturday at 1:30pm!!!! Christmas vibes and a nice Louisiana tune playing ! Such a vibe felt like Nola for a moment and the smell too!!!! Will definitely be back!!!! Dinner is always phenomenal as well!

Yelp
Last night i enjoyed Pearls Oyster Bar in Oklahoma City. It is a long- time, and great seafood restaurant, but in a new location in more recent years. I ordered the Ultimate Crab Cake. It came with a Caesar Salad. I chose the Red Beans & Rice for the other side dish. I loved the big crab cake! It was so good, and accompanied with tasty sauce. It was an excellent choice! We had a quiet booth. Pearls has a large bar too. It was easy to have conversation. The restaurant has lots of booths as well as chair seating. The service was attentive and friendly. If you want seafood, Pearls is an excellent choice in Oklahoma City!

Yelp
I don't care for seafood but was in town and family suggested going here for apps and drinks. We asked for a table for 6-8 people we're told right away that they can't accommodate more than a table of 4. Then after going back and forth for a few minutes they said they max they could do is 6 if we waited about 20 minutes. We decided to go to the bar while we waited for a table. The bar area was pretty packed but we were serviced after a few minutes and the bartender who helped us was really nice! I wasn't really feeling the drinks on the menu so he said he could make us whatever we wanted so I asked for something fruity with rum. The drinks did take a while to come out but he made some really good drinks. Mine was a pretty blue coconut tropical drink. When the drinks were coming out the host was ready to seat us. They put us in back in a party room where there was a larger party dining. We waited about 30 minutes before a party at our table had to go ask who our wait staff was because no one had came back to our table. A waitress came and didn't seem too excited to be waiting our table of 6. We put our food and drink orders in at the same time since we had been there so long waiting. Food and drinks came out pretty slow. Most of the orders came with salads and the salads came out after the food, same with the appetizer crab dip. The drinks came out maybe 10 minutes after the food. We asked for waters as well and those came out just before the food came out. I ordered fries, a house salad and tried some of my sister's chicken sliders. The chicken sliders were good. Overall I'd probably come back for drinks at the bar. Otherwise service wasn't too great.

Yelp
I went to Pearls for my birthday this year. Wonderful oysters on the half shell. I really haven't found anything bad on the menu. I got the steak and lobster for my main course. Then my family and I shared the bread pudding and key lime pie which was delightful. Our server was so kind and very attentive to our refills and table needs. The tables were clean and well kept, it also wasn't super loud inside the restaurant but it was early in the dinner hour.

Yelp
Incredible seafood! I see why they have been rated as the top seafood in OKC several times. My wife and I made our way over for a valentines dinner and it was wonderfully reasonable on price with impeccable quality of food and service. I know it says oyster bar but they have a full seafood menu incase you're like us and don't care for oysters. We had the ultimate crab cake to start and it was fantastic! I then got the mahi mahi over rice and my wife got the redfish pontchartrain (redfish on crawfish etoufee). Both were amazing but if you go for the etoufee be sure you can handle classic Cajun spice because it brings some heat. I can't sing the praises of Pearl's enough so you can go and find out for yourself!

Yelp
We went for a late valentine's date and I couldn't have been happier. I went specifically for the étouffée. The waitress warmed me a ton that is was Really spicy. I do okay with spice. I don't do a ton, and it was tolerable. The flavor was Awesome and as long as I paced myself the spice was not overwhelming. We also got the ultimate crab cake for an appetizer. It was incredible. Got the coconut mojito, tasted just like an alcoholic snowcone. My kind of drink. Staff was awesome. Always seeing what we needed. My water was always full and I was drinking it down. Great restaurant. Great staff. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
This poor restaurant.... I think this was our last effort to give this place a chance. So unorganized and poor customer service. The host needed help and looked terrified . He told us "I don't know " when we asked for the wait time. We talked to the manager and she said "it's the holiday season sorry". There were several dirty tables that the host or manager could have helped clean. Poor service and poor management. We left and are headed to Charlestons. Good luck to this place!

Yelp
I grew up dining at Pearl's with my mom in the 90's and it was always a big deal to go there. I'm a little sad that this is their only location in the OKC metro area now but it is in a very nice area. I must be getting old because it was really dark in there and it was a little too hard to have a conversation. The service was excellent and the food was wonderful. I had the Ahi Tuna Steak with seasoned vegetables and the Ahi was cooked perfectly. It came with a side salad which was mostly lettuce and fried onions (delicious) and Honey Mustard came on the side. My favorite item that we ordered was the Hot Crab Dip - that stuff is gooooood. I can't wait to come back.
google avatar

Paul H.

Yelp
Service was top-notch. Food was extremely tasty. Drinks were delicious. I had the Diablo pasta. It was extremely spicy but very, very good. We also had the miso salmon. The glaze was to die for.
google avatar

James W.

Yelp
An Oklahoma City standard for decades, from the standpoint of elevated Cajun seafood, Pearl's is one of OKC's true gems. If anything, the food has improved in the last 10 years. Presentation of the Eggs Luxe and Benedicts was excellent at the Champagne Brunch. We did have a couple of misses with our server. I ordered poached eggs, they sent scrambled. We told them about corn and rice allergies and the alligator bites came out on a bed of rice. But mostly the negative is completely inadequate restroom facilities for this size of a restaurant. Can't imagine the line if this place is busy.
google avatar

Yelp
Took my niece shopping and for lunch, she wanted to go to pearls for their delicious gumbo. The gumbo was full of sliced andouille sausage, shrimp, and chicken ladled around steamed rice. Very tasty. We both enjoyed our bowls of gumbo. Great atmosphere very New Orleans-ish. Fast friendly service.

Sally S.

Yelp
I ate dinner at Pearl's Oyster Bar with two friends that were born and raised in Louisiana! They absolutely loved the oysters, drinks and gumbo. So did I!! We will be back soon!! Our darling waitress was excellent!!! So sweet and helpful!!!
google avatar

Adrien S.

Yelp
Bartender was amazing! Attentive and helped us choose our drinks. Food was amazing and hot. Made it just in time for brunch!! Highly recommend Pearls!
google avatar

Yelp
Our food this morning was extremely good. We shared 3 desserts and all were wonderful my favorite key lime pie. Micah was our server and she was outstanding. They even had Diet Dr Pepper that my granddaughter likes with her crab cake Th place is elegant and was great for our celebration
google avatar

Pamela H.

Yelp
What a nice restaurant. I love cajun food and Pearls gives you that upscale feeling. Our waitress was Michelle H, she was great. My steak was tender, and my garlic mash potatoes where great. My husband got the blackened combo. The spice was spot on. His favorite side has always been the squash Rockefeller and it did not disappoint today. Parking was great, inside was warm. The only thing was the women's bathroom smelled to high heaven. Not like a code brown situation but like sewer. This must be an issue because they had a plug in going, it didn't do much good. Also the toilets seats are loose and need to be tightened up.

Yelp
We started coming here for happy hour this past year because my husband had been craving oysters. As the name implies, they take their oyster game seriously. We've had them at other places recently which just reminded us why Pearl's is so good. They have the best price in the city ($1.75/ea during hh and only $1.25 on Tuesdays) and are as fresh and large as you'll find anywhere. They also have a good selection of other happy hour specials making it a steal to grab some snacks and drinks after work. They always keep it classy and we've had great service every time. The have a great brunch menu as well! Although it's been more of a recent pattern for us to get on the Pearl's bandwagon, I know it will be one we consistently return to when we're craving seafood.

Yelp
Food: Overall Pearl's Oyster Bar has good food. Oysters are fresh and is the recommended appetizer of the place. These are regular oysters and just one type. Out of the 3 entrees (crab cake, ribeye, and salmon), the crab cake has the most value, excellent for the price. The ribeye is cooked exactly the way you order and is also a good choice. My least favorite is the salmon which is a little dry and I would not recommend getting. The squash Rockefeller is the most ordered side. It's basically stuffed yellow squash which is alright. I am not sure if it's really something that you would come back for like some fellow yelpers mentioned. Service: Need improvement in my opinion. Our server doesn't seem like she wanted to be there. Not a single smile on her face the entire time. Also, we were seated for a while before our server came and greeted us. Worse part is our food came out later than the table that came after us. Not worth the generous tip honestly. Ambiance: Nice facility. I like the abstract art display and the different fish decorations on the wall. For some reasons, the place resembles Trapper's Fishcamp and Grill based on the decorations and house salad. It looks fancier though.

Yelp
Great spot for Happy Hour and an early dinner! Wonderful menu... almost overpowering! Great place for friends or family!
google avatar

Ginger A.

Yelp
André, bartender extraordinaire (if you're sitting at the bar, find him)! Or, if you're in the restaurant proper, Emanuel, exceptional server! Worth asking to be seated in his section: Polite, Cheerful, with a dashing smile, Attentive, without hovering, Well-acquainted with the menu, Superb course timing, Relaxed, calm service, Adept, stealth table-clearing skills, and, Convivial. Ohhh, and the oysters were fat and fresh, and the pecan crusted trout was yummy.
google avatar

Phil M.

Yelp
One of our Oklahoma City favorites. Incredible food, and atmosphere. Parking can be a little bit of a challenge sometimes when you get there, but as long as one person can walk a few blocks no big deal. It is definitely worth the hassle.
google avatar

Brian M.

Yelp
Best bartenders at Pearls! Love when I come here and see them working the bar. Great happy hour as well.

Bryce M.

Yelp
Great food, good drinks, and solid atmosphere. Love this place! We usually make a point to visit when we're in town.

Yelp
A friend and I met there after work for happy hour. It was my first time going to Pearls Oyster Bar. We sat out on the patio. Very nice cool vibe. This restaurant seems like it's more of a mature crowd. We didn't really order a meal. We ordered off the happy hour menu. We had oysters, nachos, crabcakes, onion, rings, and a few other things. All very delicious. We had two servers. I think one was in training. But they were both very good very attentive. Service all around was really good. I will be returning to try their brunch.
google avatar

Brady H.

Yelp
Andre, he said like 3000. Haha. Great service, good music, and good food. Drinks are made very well and taste delicious!
google avatar

Natalie T.

Yelp
Loved this place! I came here from Texas and have family members from Louisiana! I like my food with plenty of flavor & spice and this place certainly delivers! I was in town for business and I was staying across the street. I went to Pearl's multiple nights for dinner so I could try out different items on the menu! Great place! The service was great and the ambiance was upbeat & fun; kind of like a MardiGras vibe.
google avatar

Larry D.

Yelp
We came from Tulsa and walked in and was told they couldn't seat us because I was wearing a Tank Top. No where on their website could we find that policy. It was embarrassing and I will never recommend this restaurant because it pretends to be upscale but at my glance it looked like a cheap and dated. Thanks for the horrible experience coming to Oklahoma City Pearl Oyster Bar!!! You are pieces of crap.
google avatar

Victoria N.

Yelp
Their extensive menu can be overwhelming, but since we came for brunch, we stuck with the brunch menu. I had their southern brunch skillet: layers of grits, eggs, bacon, andouille, and gravy. It was not what I expected. The dish was pretty heavy, and I couldn't finish it. I didn't like the andouille and potato hash; it was just like thick mashed potatoes. Our server was sweet, but it would've been nice if she had checked on us and refilled our coffee. I didn't order great this time. Still, we will probably return since my boyfriend likes Cajun food, and I enjoyed their oysters during happy hour.

The Eating Okie 1.

Yelp
Ultimate crab cakes and Anne's hot crab dip were exquisite. Went here for the first time and had spectacular service. Our server was Leslie and she was a phenomenal person. Always helping. I ordered the seafood diablo and she warned me it is the spiciest on the menu(apparently some people send it back because it is so spicy). I didn't take it as a warning I took it as a challenge. Sauce: good and not as spicy as expected but still phenomenal. Noodles: soft and absolutely perfect. Shrimp: amazing and flavorful. Scallops: I love scallops and these were the best I've had in 13+ years. Mushrooms: not to shabby, just ok. Sausage: This was the highlight of the dish. I would have eaten an entire bowl of sausage. The atmosphere was beautiful. That will conclude my review.

Yelp
The first time we visited about a year ago, everything was fabulous. Food was delectable, service was spot on and ambiance was quite enjoyable. A year later, hush puppies were overdone/burnt, condiments forgotten, no salt&pepper, and no refills. Had to ask for everything and when brought, only partial items were remembered so we had to wait for the rest of the items. Asked if we wanted beer dresses, we said "no" and we got it dressed anyway. Which we did not dare return. Ambiance was sloppy, table was tilted, tablecloth was worn in the edges. We were in a back room that seemed for large group events but nothing on the walls to make one feel like we were out on the town. The food, other than hush puppies, was tasty. The Ahi tuna was deliciously prepared complimented with steamed vegetable medley.
google avatar

Tamar H.

Yelp
What a great experience. My son and hubs and I came to celebrate the New Year. We ordered oysters on the half shell and fried calamari. I also had tilapia orleans, hubs had a ribeye and son pasta.
google avatar

Carla S.

Yelp
I really like this place. Service is always great..Food is flavorful..Bar is sexy..Atmosphere feels a little more special without being stuffy. Plus they have one of my favorite happy hours in town. Their freshly shucked oysters are so fresh and delicious with all the fixins included. And their $1 each Tuesday special cannot be beat. Some of menu items I love here: their amazing and big, house-made mozzarella sticks.. Shoestring onion rings dipped in a yummy remoulade type dip.. And their blackened chicken slider is crazy good and smothered in cheese. All of those are discounted at happy hour. (The slider burger was just okay, overcooked, and the only one I probably wouldn't reorder). Prices are kind of high for their regular menu seafood entrees, and selection could be better with a few low to mid level options. But I'm usually too happily distracted slurping up oysters to notice much.

Yelp
Had a great Brunch at Pearls! Eggs were cooked perfectly on our Benedict's. Loved having a TV at our booth to watch Baker win (Boomer!)

Yelp
This is my first time back in a few months. Every time it's the same thing... The food is great and the service and/or experience is either subpar or terrible. We came to eat on Mother's Day and when we get brought our drinks The waitress brings them in Styrofoam cups. Not exactly sure why because she never gave us an explanation and I don't feel like I have to ask for an explanation because something very out of the ordinary or uncommon. I would assume you should explain yourself as to why we are getting served our drinks in Styrofoam cups. No other tables had Styrofoam cups except for one table and they also had glass cups so we were still a little confused... We just assumed maybe they ran out of glasses. Which should never happen coming from a person who has worked in the restaurant industry. Our waitress was very nice. However, she just seemed very stressed out and always rushed. We had a couple orders messed up due to the food being cooked either too long or undercooked. I have said this before... The management has got to be better because the service is terrible. It is almost like the servers have not been taught the proper way to serve people or what to say to a table. My advice would be to bring in outside management and have them shadow the restaurant for a few weeks, and then have them train the service in some capacity

Ryan B.

Yelp
Visiting my family from NYC, was turned down service at the door for wearing a sweater vest. I understand a dress code but as I looked around I was confused as to why a bunch of overweight, unkempt hillbillies were seated and served wearing leggings and stained sweatshirts yet I was turned away for wearing a $500 Tom ford vest. Needless to say the host and manager looked as unkempt and unprofessional as the people eating. Not sure why a restaraunt that's inside looks like a glorified bass pro shop has a dress code anyways, and the customs they do allow in absolutely kill whatever "atmosphere" they try to create. Definitely needs a new team that understands aesthetics a bit more
google avatar

Sheena R.

Yelp
My absolute favorite go to restaurant rather a gathering or a solo date. The food is never a miss and service is always top tier.
google avatar

Toby R.

Yelp
Good food and drink as always. Weight staff could be wearing cleaner uniforms, bathrooms were absolutely filthy at 7 PM on a Wednesday, I think you get what you get with management. Unfortunate such a nice place but management seems to be slacking.
google avatar

Sibyl O.

Yelp
Tuesday is THE DAY for oysters! Ummmm. Side bowl of rice & beans, it can't be beat believe you me!
google avatar

Hannah M.

Yelp
We got takeout recently and i am sold on this place! I hadn't been in probably a decade but we were in the area and seafood sounded good. I ordered the salmon tacos and wow were they full of salmon! Definitely worth the money for the serving you got and quality of food. Even the packaging was great. My husband got a salad and they put the chicken in a separate container so the lettuce wouldn't get soggy. It's the little things that restaurants do like this that really makes you appreciate them even more. Their online ordering system is a breeze and love the fact that the pickup area is in the back door away so you don't have to walk through the entire restaurant just to get your food.
google avatar

Cyndi W.

Yelp
Always good food and really good service. The drinks are strong and the food is so amazing. They have a noisy area and a quiet area so whatever it is, you're looking for you're gonna find a couple of other stores like the crab shack which I really love.
google avatar

David R.

Yelp
Be careful if you order online. I ordered online and missed the "when do you want it ready" and noticed when I got the acknowledgement of the order I notice it was going to be ready in 15 minutes. There was no preview of the order before I submitted the order. I wanted it ready in an hour. I called immediately and was put on hold TWICE, then told it was already being prepared. I commented that it was going to be cold or overcooked by the time I could get there to pick it up and was told "too bad"!
google avatar

Shelly W.

Yelp
Excellent happy hour. The ultimate crab cake was delicious. They fried oysters and shrimp were perfect. Being from south Louisiana I'm very picky and skeptical of seafood in land locked states. I was impressed with all that we tried. Our sever was great as well. Nice dining experience.
google avatar

Whitney A.

Yelp
I'm a frequent visitor to Pearls because of their quick service and delicious food. During my recent visit, I tried the seafood skillet and highly recommend it. I usually start with the side salad; the crispy onions on top are a nice touch. The blackened chicken pasta is also a tasty option. Give it a shot!
google avatar

Tonika K.

Yelp
Super torn with this review. I've been making it a point to review my old faithfuls and this is one of them. You can catch me at Pearls for brunch (the Bloody Mary bar is #2 in the city on my list of best Bloody Mary bars) or dinner at least 2-3 times a month. Almost always our service is top notch. The house salad and crab dip are my absolute favorite along with the 1942 Perfect Margarita's. Today however our service was bad. The restaurant was not packed and I was seated promptly and the server initially came quickly. Once we placed our order, she disappeared. I'm not sure if she needed to cover another area but we did not see her again for more drink orders/refills and we waited 30+ minutes to tab out. I know restaurants are struggling with help right now so I will chalk this up to maybe they were short servers. I still recommend this restaurant. Some of the best red beans and rice I've had in OKC. I've never had a super long wait, they can accommodate big parties (I had a birthday party here and my undergrad graduation dinner) and the brunch bar is great. I will make it a point to update this review when I go again. This is an OKC stable and I recommend it.
google avatar

W Y.

Yelp
I've gone twice and have sat in the bar area each time. The $5 specialty drinks were good, and not watered down. We had oysters both times, they were delicious. I like the ambience of the building and the service was excellent both times. I'd go back next time I visit OKC.

Steve Z.

Yelp
Best Cajun and creole food in OKC. I've been to New Orleans many times. The food there is - of course - exceptional. Pearl's gets closer to MOLA quality than any other place in the metro OKC area. If you have found better, post it!

Yelp
I'll start by saying... nice atmosphere, lighting and seemed well cleaned. Restrooms were clean with both towels and soap as expected. So 5 stars there. My wife and I arrived early- around 5PM on a Wednesday. Not very busy at this time. We sat at the bar and was promptly greeted by the bartender. The menus, glasses of water and first round of drinks came up very quick. Great! Since we were there during Happy Hour we thought we'd try a selection from the Happy Hour menu. After our first cocktail we ordered a side Cesar salad to share. The plate was cold and the Romaine was fresh. Dressing was tangy and very tasty. The only downside to the salad was the croutons were obviously from a box and the parmesan cheese was similar to Kraft sprinkle cheese. Not bad... but it literally only takes minutes each week to make croutons from day-old bread that every restaurant has. Fresh grated cheese is equally simple and cost effective. Makes a difference in quality of salads! For dinner we had several apps. Smoked salt edamame was cooked perfectly. Could have had a little more smoked salt per my taste. Still good. Thin-O's onion rings. Huge plate. Cooked to a very crispy well done. I thought they were great - my wife thought they were a little heavily breaded. I ate nearly the whole plate by myself. We had a cup of gumbo, and a side of red beans and rice which had a bit of sausage on top. Both were great! We also had the fried cheese logs. They were also huge - and a bit spicy. But again great. Lastly, for an Entree we had the large crab cake. It was nearly all crab meat as advertised. This thing was huge. Think of a very large filet mignon, or 2 cans of tuna stacked on top of each other. Let me say this... it was good. But it wasn't great. Personally I like a little something in the cakes (celery or other goodies?). And it could have been seared much crispier given it was like 2+ inches thick. Still good... but given all the other food, we didn't finish the $20 crab cake. Service wise - the bartender was super nice and attentive. My comment here is 2-part. First, when he made my wife's mixed drinks (I was drinking draft beer), he would put the ingredients in the shaker cup with the ice and walk away to do something else. Come back 2-3 mins later and slightly shake the drink and poor it. Not to mention that the drinks were fairly under poured with alcohol. If this had happened once I wouldn't even mention it. But this happened for every mixed drink the bartender made while we were sitting there. Maybe this is a Happy Hour thing? But I've never seen that in all my years. Second... when we paid our bill and left, all of the plates, salad plate, 3 beer glasses, and a couple martini glasses were still sitting in front of us. He cleared away almost nothing in the nearly 2 hours we were there. And it wasn't that busy. These 2 last points are the reason for my 3-star rating. We will try the sister restaurants and hope for 5-stars across the board.

Just appetizers and drinks with a friend on the porch was very nice. Service with a new server went well, appetizers were tasty and very much picture worthy as you can see. I would like to try the brunch menu on Sunday sometime soon.
