Coffee Coffee Review - Larchmont - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Yes, Coffee Coffee has plenty of coffee, but there's also a solid food menu at this Larchmont spot—think charred peaches with burrata or milk bread slathered with labneh and strawberries. It's a cute, airy space with dangling ceiling plants and modern brown-tone furniture, plus it never gets too crowded during the day. Oh, and there's a handful of outlets, too. " - Sylvio Martins

Google
It's friendly, and there are many restaurants and dart shops around. There are also many customers in the morning. Personally, I think the coffee is better than Starbucks or Coffee Bean.

Google
Finally found the iced coffee I’ve been looking for — rich, smooth, and truly delicious. 🧊🥤 The atmosphere here is just as good, cozy and relaxing. Perfect spot to enjoy my coffee break.

Google
First of all, we love your coffee. Secondly, we appreciate yall being environmentally conscious by choosing paper straws. That said, you may need to consider getting lids that don’t destroy the straws before we can enjoy finishing the coffee. There are lids with prefab holes that might be a good option.

Google
Went in to purchase my coffee beans 🫘 and clerk offers a free small cup of coffee with my purchase and I requested the rain check card. She said “no longer offered “ ok I am ok. Then upon paying with my credit card I wait for my receipt but she says that the CC terminal “has a question for me “ : tip …yes tips options. ( that’ s not a question !!!! Is begging for money even if only buying coffee beans. Holly crap!!! Now you have to tip when buying beans only ????

I tried the hula cold brew. I find it has a very unusual taste. I don’t think I will want to order it again.

Google
Although this is a chain, unlike Starbucks, the coffee here is great. I had both Medium and Dark roasts here, the brew was precise and coffee is great! Would highly recommend this place … neighborhood has lot of other spots to stop by, and beautiful! Lot of parking spots!

Google
Asked for medium roast drip coffee. They made it from grinding fresh beans! 👌 👏 😍 👍 Peet's

The staff were friendly... The coffee was freshly brewed. The loaf that I ordered were warm and tasty.

Yelp
This Peet's Coffee is one of our favorites. The service is so great and gee are they fast. You will love them. The place is very clean and super cute inside. It does not stay open late, it closes around 7 pm so keep that in mind. They have great coffee and a great variety. They also have wonderful iced coffees and they carry other drinks as well. Their muffins and snacks are great. It never seems to be too crowded when we are there. Maybe we are just lucky. You will really like this place and the prices are super fair.

Yelp
Great coffee and great staff. The lattes are the best. Plenty of seating inside and out. Very clean bathroom.

Yelp
Just moseying along Larchmont after a lovely lunch and dropped by Peet's Coffee for treats. From start to finish it was a lovely experience, Edwin greeted us with flare and as we ordered the renowned Carmel scones. I then requested a macchiato and then the short wait for my coffee perfectly executed by Natalie. I was skeptical being Italian, but I was blown away. It was the perfect temperature, perfect balance of hot milk with a dash of creamy foam. I immediately decided it would call it a perfect Macchiato, it was a Goldilocks moment! I had to go back and thank Natalie! I will never get a macchiato anywhere but here! Grazie!

Yelp
Before heading to a meeting I stopped there and ordered Iced latte. It smells so good. Every sip was so amazing. The flavor was balanced and not so sweet. Nice location. It has inside and outside seating which very cool to meet some friends or just enjoy coffee.

Yelp
My go-to location when I'm in Los Angeles. Great coffee made well. The only downside is a scarcity of parking. There are a lot of shops along North Larchmont and there isn't enough parking for everyone, even with the new public parking lot up the street.
google avatar

Alice C.

Yelp
I came here in the early morning, so the area is very calm. The people just reading newspaper or doing their own things. I haven't been to Peet's for a long time, and just found they no longer have the bagels I want. The cashier was so nice. She introduced me what's good, for both food and drinks. Both drink and food were good. With her positive and polite attitude, my day started just right.

Yelp
Great coffee as always! Quaint place in a quaint block of Larchmont. Some seating outside and enough inside. Very friendly service! Condiment area can be cleaned up a-bit, but overall nice spot to grab a coffee and continue walking the block.

Yelp
Hard to go wrong with the biggest and best coffee chain from California. Here in lively Larchmont, the Peet's staff are helpful and friendly. With enough tables, seating, good natural light coming through in the morning, it's an inviting coffee house. Many customers get blended espresso drinks, but I often test if a place can do the basics properly. So, just a cup of coffee for me at times, when not getting specialty ones. All of Peet's coffee blends do the job, though my favourite is the strong bold Major Dickason. Even the de-caffeinated at Peet's is full-bodied rich tasting piping hot goodness. Holds up and tastes fine later on. Every person has a different coffee palate, so if you have any doubts what to order, simply ask the barista which varieties they recommend, and they're sure to make one to suit your taste.

Yelp
I love peers coffee. And what better is staffs at this location. All staffs are super friendly and attentive. I never have bad coffee or experience here.

Yelp
My significant other and I come here every week for our weekly Peet's Coffee. He enjoys the Cold Brew with some milk and I adore their Golden Chai. Their hot Golden Chai Latte, brought me back to my time in Europe. It tastes exactly like one I used to order abroad. It is delicious!! I order ahead (thanks Peet's rewards) and my drink is always ready, nice and hot when I arrive! The staff is very kind and accommodating. There are also lots of places to sit indoors and just outside this location. Delicious beverages and a great experience each time. Some highlights: Very accessible location Kind staff Parking available Located in a walkable area

Yelp
The hubby loves coming here for coffee. We usually get French lattes and impossible sandwiches. It's so good. There are plenty of outdoor seating.

Yelp
This is one one my two regular Peet's locations. I've been a customer since they opened on Larchmont. My go to drink is iced espresso. Of the coffee chains, Peet's is my favorite. (No shade to the unnamed and sometimes more ubiquitous competitors.) My favorite pastries are the maple scone and chocolate pumpkin loaf. All this to say, I'm a longtime and loyal customer and today I felt like the barista Kimberly went above and beyond. She greeted me before I even saw her and when I told her I'd ordered ahead she said, oh yes, and then she called me by my name. As I put sugar in my coffee, I listened to her greet and interact with other customers and I thought, this person is REALLY good at their job. So, I wanted to share the great experience and give props to one of the MANY stellar people who represent Peet's coffee.

Yelp
Peet's Coffee was my favorite coffee. I didn't know Peet's coffee in LA because I never thought Peet's coffee in the west coast. Iced Americano is amazing and that's only what I drinking here. Great location. I went to this place after ate brunch with friends. Hold Peet's coffee and go to shopping or walking on the street.

T D.

Yelp
The medium roast coffee is my quick go to here. They have great teas as well, my favorite being the mint melange. The hot food is quite good, every now and then I'll have a crispy ham & cheese and they rotate a few other hot foods that have been tasty.
google avatar

Yelp
Genuinely friendly staff who remember the regulars' orders, always cheerful while still real. A nice place to work with a large central communal table and several smaller ones. Outdoor tables (with umbrellas) to gather and people watch.

Eunsa L.

Yelp
The best coffee ever!! When I visit last time I also tried an iced latte and scons, it was very yum

Yelp
Comfy! Love the community and bar chairs and tables! Not too busy on a Saturday afternoon. Great place for wifi junkies/laptop working cafe. Yes to fast wifi, outlets, clean restroom, safe cafe and free parking. Lots of indoor and outdoor seats. Friendly staff. Also, Peets has their own new app now! FB Halfemptywallet shared a deal -- $5off an order with 1st check in. Use the online code when signing up. Also free beverage for next time once you do a your 1st check in. Parking: Street meter $1/hr some areas, or residential free parking off 1st street (2hr, 8am-6pm, avoid Tuesday curb sweeping 12pm-3pm). Saturday afternoon, we stayed more than 2hrs and it was fine.

Yelp
Went to pick up my previous order for a 20 cup box but they had the wrong date. Well, not to worry because they were able to fill my order in less than 10 minutes.
google avatar

Hemang S.

Yelp
Our go-to coffee shop whenever we are in the Larchmont neighborhood, this Peet's is so friendly and feels like a local, boutique shop! While I enjoy supporting truly small coffee shops, whenever I'm in need for a quick, delicious, crafted coffee drink, it doesn't hurt to come here instead of Starbucks! We have the app and love getting promos and discounts as well. There's plenty of street parking on various blocks. Some are even free. Right now you can't sit inside for obvious reasons but they put their mobile order section outside so you don't even need to step in! Definitely come try it out here. We've been enjoying the holiday lattes and speciality drinks.

Yelp
Service is usually a hit or miss when I go to specific locations, but this one was pretty good. The barista was kind when I first came and greeted me right away. I was craving a hot chocolate on this cold day and decided to stroll in. Loved the service and the inclusivity I saw in their treats. It was soo cute to see, usually most call it a ginger bread man, but they labeled it as a Gingerbread person. I absolutely love that. The treat was good and the hot chocolate was cool. Nothing too special about the taste, but super comforting when its chilly out.

Yelp
Peet's on Larchmont is my first stop on my morning walk every day; there are some very good coffee choices on the boulevard, but Peet's takes the prize. Usually I'll order their Dark Roast with a splash of half n half, the perfect elixir to end an intermittent fast. The staff is always super-friendly and go out of their way to say hello. And I am thrilled that they put two water bowls out for the many dogs like mine who pass by. Even as I write this early before sunrise, I'm counting the minutes until the friendly staff opens their doors and I can head over for my Cup 'o Joe. A+

Brandon J.

Yelp
Came in around 10 a.m. today to get a Havana Cappuccino and the Barista attempted to catch an attitude because we asked him to remake the cappuccinos because they tasted like straight coffee with coffee-mate creamer. After two failed remakes and dealing with the server's unnecessary attitude, we just left. Please train your staff on how to make drinks better. There should be no reason customers are met with attitude because your servers can't make drinks properly.
google avatar

Alexia S.

Yelp
Every time I come in here the staff is very nice and my drinks are always consistent which Is very hard to get at other coffee shop chains for the most part. They have plenty of seating and a unisex bathroom. If you don't pay attention you might miss it as you're driving by since it is pretty hidden. Worth it though, this is the closest one to me and they have the best coffee beans.
google avatar

Bill T.

Yelp
My neighborhood's best coffee, crew, service, and environment to start my every day. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks Peets on the Blvd!

Sarah D.

Yelp
Every time I visit Los Angeles, the Larchmont location is my go-to Peets. I haven't seen a single employee that is not friendly. They make me want happily to leave tips.
google avatar

Nadine N.

Yelp
Super friendly service ! You can get freshly grounded beans as well. Personable staff. Make good recommendations too!
google avatar

Steve R.

Yelp
Nice little shop that we stopped in the other night. It was nice and clean with a friendly staff. They had a nice selection of both hot and iced drinks on the menu. There were also sweet and savory items in their display case if you want something to go with your beverage

Yelp
I wanted to be able to give this Peets location a 5 stars... after all it's in Larchmont and I would think would have good standards. It's a lovely little strip of the city yet I sadly have to give it 1 stars. I witnessed a male staffer play with a dog, wipe the dogs nose with his bare hands, and hurry back into the barista station, pick up someone's pastry (thank goodness it was at least in a bag) without washing his hands, and then go to the sink and do a rush job of washing his hands then back to coffee making. I WILL NEVER be returning here. If cleanliness wasn't placed as even more of a priority during our last crisis, I don't know what will make it a priority for some. And if someone is still struggling with hand washing and knowing the priority before handling someone's food or drink, it is NOT their practice and I will NOT be back. And that smell in the restroom horrid. Get it together Peets, someone may be continuing to go there for coffee, yet it will not be me. Raise your standards, not your prices for drinks that are less than good. Practice makes better drinks and customer experience if you care about that. SMH and moved on already.

Yelp
I love Peet's! The coffee is far more superior than the other chains. However, at this location I never get my iced latte made the way it's supposed to. At Peet's they normally add foam to my iced latte and I love it because it gives it that frothiness to my drink! Every single time I have been to this location, there is never any foam. I make sure to tell the person taking my order to please make sure there is foam and their reply is always "yes, we add foam." Every time I pick up my drink, there isn't any foam. I don't like to make a big deal about it because I love their coffee. Past few visits, I asked for extra foam (because then they'll know I asked for foam)... but still, just espresso and milk. I don't want to be a Karen on a nice Saturday morning so I just grab my drink and go. It's kind of annoying because I go out of my way to stop by on my way to work - pay for metered parking, paying and tip.

Yelp
Excellent location for relaxing with a coffee and your best friend for some good people-watching in Larchmont Village. Peet's has great quality coffe and excellent service. Happy to find another Peet's and would come back in a heartbeat if I'm in the area
google avatar

Jon M.

Yelp
This Peets is very well located in the center of the upscale Larchmont st. in Hancock Park(historic wealthy LA neighborhood). It was a hot day and I appreciated the excellent AC. The coffee was rich tasting and strong. Staff was also very good but didn't know bean origins when I asked. I enjoyed the relaxed sociable atmosphere unlike the one on 3rd and fairfax which is really busy with alot of vagrants hassling people. The interior is nice but not large enough for the crowd at peak times. People do comfortably sit outside on benches.
google avatar

Bladimir A.

Yelp
My favorite coffee shop in Los Angeles; everyone is friendly and attentive. Anything I order they always make it right! I love Peet's Coffee

Jenny K.

Yelp
Me and my friend just went to this place few min ago. It was my first time to try their coffee and it was successful. My favorite thing here is customer service. Hal is the nicest person and I'd like to see him in this cafe again!
google avatar

Ari B.

Yelp
We just love this place. Consistently great drinks and the staff is really the best. Have been using the app for to go order and they have kept up the quality. Sometimes you want to go where you feel like they appreciate you and remember your order's idiosyncrasies. This is the place for me. Also, the drip coffee is strong and delicious. Loving the Major Dickasen's blend.
google avatar

Teresa W.

Yelp
This is a great Peet's! The staff is what shines here. They are always so helpful and pleasant. The people watching is aces. I love that they "recycle" by letting you bring in your (pound) coffee bags to refill. Every little bit helps. There is a Peet's app that always has specials, so I rarely (ever?) pay full price for a pound. You also receive a free cup of coffee when you purchase a pound. Every time I've been there buying a bag of coffee, the staff happily brews whatever coffee I'd like for my free cup. In this day, nice customer service really goes a long way! They have a choice of 4-5 organic types as well (can't remember the exact number). They also give me my cup in my tumbler to further help reduce unnecessary waste. Also the place is clean and neat. Go Peet's!
google avatar

Andrew S.

Yelp
Great Peet's location. This was my first time here. I had my usual large iced coffee, nothing complicated. It can get pretty busy on a weekends. Every table/seat inside and outside were taken. I sat on the bench to the side of Peet's, as it was such a nice day to be outside. The Baristas are friendly and poured my drink as soon as it was ordered, which is always good. I've had to wait at some locations for them to simply pour the coffee into the cup. Downside to this place is that it only has ONE bathroom. I had to wait for what felt like forever. Parking on the street can be difficult to secure. Larchmont is a fairly busy area.
google avatar

Sally M.

Yelp
I've been meaning to update this review. Peet's coffee customer service and the manager at the Larchmont locations has been very professional and courteous in addressing the below issues that I encountered from my previous experience at the Larchmont Peet's coffee location. Customer service agent Moneisha sent me a personalized hand written card with coupons for free drinks on the house. Also, the Larchmont Peet's coffee manager sent me a personalized e-mail addressing the problems - Thank you. A little customer service can go a long way in a company's success. Two thumbs up to Peet's coffee for understanding customer's concerns and addressing them right away.
google avatar

Becca T.

Yelp
The cold brew and the iced mocha latte are my go to. Very flavorful and rich coffee. I've bought couple of their whole bean coffees at the market and they're just as good. Great service and staff. Also a great location on Larchmont Blvd.
google avatar

Brett F.

Yelp
Rude person took my order - I simply asked what a vanilla latte was, she looked at me like I was an idiot and sarcastically replied that there's vanilla syrup in it. Whatev, rude. But my Vanilla Soy Latte was great, so +1 star.
google avatar

Terrance Y.

Yelp
Every Sunday morning this place is jammed back with a diverse crowd (elderly reading their newspaper, women chatting about their week, young jogger with his dog on a leash, and families). The service is always really friendly and if you already had a palate for Peet's (over Starbucks or Coffee Bean), then you know how thankful you are that this location is so conveniently located on Larchmont. Parking is not always easy but you can always park a little farther into the neighborhood and walk over. The baristas are always so friendly and patient when you're stuck in front of the counter trying to decide what to consume.
google avatar

Olivia T.

Yelp
Peet's is will always be the BEST coffee chain and Starbucks can suck it. But this location in particular has my heart. The service, mood, and energy is ALWAYS ON POINT. My order is annoying and remotely difficult and the loving baristas here, all of them, are always so patient and friendly. I work down the street at Vernetti and love coming in here. I feel like this street really has a very special warmth and magic to it that is hard pressed to find in LA. But when I come to Peet's I feel like I always see people that seem like locals, like this is their spot and no matter how many trendy or other corporate spots come in, that they will be Peet's people. I love that. I work brunch shifts super early in the morning and sometimes right before we open I try to get my co-worker to go down the block to get coffee with me. We always go to Peet's first and they ALWAYS have the longest lines in the morning of all the coffee spots. That proves it. They're the best on the block. Go here.
google avatar

Veronica C.

Yelp
I didn't order any coffee here when my friends wanted to come here for coffee. It was way too late for me to have that much caffeine. The coffee was just ok then one of my friends is very picky how her coffee taste saying her green tea latte wasn't very good. Maybe try the mayan mocha when it smelled and looked good. The parking here in Larchmont Street may be a little difficult during busy hours. There is only metered parking or else you need to find parking on the side streets watching for signs that you can't park. If you want to explore this area you will do a lot of walking too.
google avatar

Connie S.

Yelp
I love this Peet's. Coffee is great and customer service is always spectacular! If I ever have any issues with my drink, the baristas are always willing to make it right (with no attitude)! It's also fun to people watch and walk around larchmont with a cup of coffee in your hand.
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
I decided to pick up my coffee beans here after a farmers market trip. The staff wasn't as friendly as I expected like other Peet's locations. With a complimentary cup of small coffee with my half pound Garuda Blend purchase, I chose an iced coffee, which was refreshing on a hot day. For some reason, the total was $9 instead of $8.50 as listed on the menu, which I didn't realize until after I paid. I was not offered a receipt like other coffee spots. I didn't have time to clarify the $0.50 difference with a line forming quickly with one cashier. Although it's bigger than the one on 3rd and Fairfax, I'll stick to that location for better service.
google avatar

Annette M.

Yelp
This Peet's is the best in LA. It's my favorite location! Love the flavor of Peet's coffee beans and looking forward to being able to go back to this location once it is safe to do so. You better believe I'll be the first person in line!
google avatar

Jeannie K.

Yelp
I've been loving Peet's ever since I discovered it first during my undergrad years in Berkeley, where it originated from. Their coffees and lattes are so smooth and much more preferred than Starbucks. For me, any Peet's anywhere is worth going to, and I always make a stop whenever I have the opportunity. As for this location, it is a friendly, cozy place with some outside seating where you can spot people from different walks of life and their beautiful dogs. I highly recommend coming here for the most excellent cup of velvety latte!
google avatar

Sarah H.

Yelp
The BEST Peets in the whole world!!!best most friendly staff I've ever witnessed. Always smiling and so welcoming. I drive miles just for them! One thing Peets.... bring back the coconut creamer!!!!!!!! Please. It brings so much joy to so many around here. Come on! This is one thing that needddssss to stay! Please. Thank you! Loyal customer, Sarah

Gina W.

Yelp
I have been coming to this Peet's for years and the service is always on point. Orders are made correctly and the very cordial staff remembers you. They can be a little slow at times especially if you don't go early but I attribute this to the crowd. I have noticed that a few Peet's have closed recently like the one in Bev Hills and the one on 3rd and Fairfax. I sure hope that the chain isn't in jeopardy and that this Peet's sticks around. Lots of competitors on this block but this Peet's does seem to maintain a steady stream of customers. I also see the same people sitting outside when I go on the weekends so hopefully this loyal patronage will ensure that this Peet's will be here for years to come. Peet's coffee is superior to Starbucks IMO and I would hate for them to disappear.

Yelp
my favorite spot in larchmont good coffee good companions specially all the selections of coffee beans...I love it so much

Yelp
This is a nice cozy one. Service is friendly and fast. They had a bunch of seasonal options (pumpkin lattes, etc). I got the chai tea latte, which was really good! When I was there, they also had this tray of pumpkin bread and their fall coffee blend, which were both absolutely delicious. They have about a dozen tables inside and some limited outdoor seating. I love this area because it's full of cute little shops and restaurants. This is not the only coffee shop in the area, but it's one of the better ones.
