It's great that you can create your own dish..🥙🥓🥑I chose the benedict with avocado and bacon, it's amazing.. I also tried the Caesar wrap 🌯with potatoes and melted cheese.. Also outstanding is their special omelette.🍳 For dessert, I chose crepes with banana and ice cream.🥞 In the end, I left very satisfied and I recommend you make a reservation before you go.❤️🥰 I know for sure that I will visit many times❤️ I also really liked the honesty of the manager of this place, he worked and served people just like his servers. Pegasus Restaurant is a small, cozy diner that serves delicious food with authentic Great flavors and friendly service. The portions are generous, and the atmosphere feels like home. Be prepared for a bit of a wait during busy hours, and parking can be tricky to find — but the meal and experience are well worth it.

We got up late and wanted Brunch. I checked Google maps and Pegasus Brooklyn was rated high. Although it was away from our direction of travel we decided to give it a try. Boy was that the right choice! My wife ordered Sunny and Kale and I the Bananas Foster French Toast. Both were delicious. The service was prompt, friendly and accommodating. Do yourself a favor and try Pegasus Brooklyn.

Highly recommend to call in advance to be on the waitlist so you don’t have to wait. The food is delicious. I wish they gave attention to tables water and coffee. You can sit for a long while without any refills and I had to ask for water. It’s a simple thing that can make a big difference in the dining experience.

First time trying this place. Overall it was a good experience. The place is very clean. Staff could definitely be a tad more welcoming but it’s not a deal breaker. They were there and attentive. No smile, no small talk, no suggestions. I get they are a busy place but the slightest bit of friendliness goes a long way. Our drinks (lattes and orange juice) were great and we all got different omelets that were also very good. The potatoes were a favorite and the portions are big. We probably could’ve shared.

Great place for quality breakfast. Be aware that the place is a bit small so you may have to wait for a table. Worth the wait!

The perfect spot for brunch! The Benedict and chicken & waffles were spectacular. The waffles were perfectly soft & fluffy which complimented the crispy fried chicken so well. The Benedict sauce and home fries were to die for and the service was excellent too. The staff were so friendly which really adds to the overall experience. Highly recommend as it will quickly become one of your favorite places to enjoy a delicious meal. I cannot wait to come back with more friends.

Pegasus Brooklyn is truly a local gem. Every time I walk in, it feels like family — warm, welcoming, and homey in the best way. The breakfast here is absolutely premium, with dishes that make every visit feel like a special occasion. It’s a small, cozy spot, so I definitely recommend calling ahead, but it’s hands down my go-to place whenever I want to enjoy a top-notch breakfast with my family.

I would take my daughter to a prep course in this neighborhood for the past month every Sunday and I didn't know where to go for the 1.5 hours that I needed to wait for the class to end. So I walked around and came across this diner. The waitress sat me down as soon as I walked in and took my order immediately. I asked for freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. It went wonderfully well my order of eggs with kale. I have to say that the best dish that I absolutely there was the Greek Beeny which was Benedict eggs on muffins and a homemade hash brown. I loved the fresh ingredients and that it came out steamy. I no longer go all the way out there on Sundays but would like to go back at be day for brunch with my family.

Tried the Corned Beef Hash & Eggs, Bananas Foster French Toast, and an Iced Cappuccino -- and everything was absolutely on point! We had to wait about 40 minutes to be seated, and the food took a little while to arrive. This place is always full, so I definitely recommend calling ahead to check availability or ask if they can hold a table. That said, the wait was 100% worth it. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The ambiance is nice and cozy, with indoor seating only. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy a good meal. I'd absolutely recommend this place for brunch or breakfast -- just be prepared for a bit of a wait!

Best breakfast and brunch & fresh, tasty, and cozy! My husband and I have dined in and ordered delivery a few times from Pegasus. It's a small spot with seriously quality food. When the place fills up, they have booth seating which is nice and cozy. If you want to avoid the crowd, try coming after 3 or 4 pm when it's quieter. Their eggs Benedict is my go-to. I love it with a side salad and unlimited coffee refills (yes, please!). My husband swears by their burgers, and we're both big fans of the waffle fries. We've even made it a fun competition to compare burgers and fries with other local spots like Bayridge Diner and The Monk but Pegasus wins for quality every time. Heads up: If you order delivery too close to closing time, the packing can get a little messy. Sometimes fries come without ketchup or utensils, and the bread on the eggs Benedict can be a bit burnt. But I get it they're hustling to close up shop, so no stress. Plus, delivery usually comes straight from them, not a third party, which is a big plus. Tried the mimosa once & it's smaller than I expected, so probably a pass next time. No cash, just Venmo for payment. Delivery: 7/10 Dine-in: 10/10 Staff: 10/10 Food: 15/10

Try as I might to find a place closer to our apartment that's as good or almost as good is just impossible and I'm going to give up trying. Pegasus is simply the best and today I made a new discovery. What is that, you may ask? The spinach salad with sweet bacon vinaigrette dressing. Oh my goodness. The salad was humongous and I pretty much finished every bite. This salad came with baby spinach, red onion, sweet red roasted peppers, feta and the most delicious hot sweet bacon vinaigrette that tied it all together perfectly. It was the winning combination of heat and sweet. Pegasus can do no wrong in my eyes and I will gladly travel to Bay Ridge for the terrific food, awesome staff and the wonderful vibe.

4 stars plus! Great place, good service our server was nice, food is excellent, prices are fair, it's clean and bean in the Bay Ridge neighborhood for years. They have an extensive menu and specials. You can have brunch as well and the menu should satisfy everyone. We had the Peaches and Cream French toast and also the blueberry pancakes with eggs. The French toast was made with challah bread. It's a light meal and the French toast is a little on the small side. I would have like to if the portion was a little larger.It was made well and was tasty. The blueberry pancakes were the star of the show. I am not a huge pancake person although I felt these were among the best I've had. If you come here on the weekend plan to have a wait of usually around 30 minutes. I would recommend them for breakfast or lunch and will be back.

This morning was the third or fourth time we've been to Pegasus. I made sure to take plenty of photos. When we arrived, there was a 25 minute wait for a table. The 25 minute wait turned into about 10-15 minutes. That was lovely! We sat down, were handed menus and about 60 seconds later a very tall, professional lady with a definitive 'get-'er-done'-notion approached our table and asked if we needed a few minutes. Luckily, we did our homework, studied the menu prior to arrival and knew what to order: I ordered Avocado Toast, swap the salad out for House Homefries and a cup of Tea with cream g Sucralose (yesIknowitcancausecancerbutIdon'tuseitmuch) and my man ordered the Kickass Benedict with Coffee. We had about 20 minutes to sit and chitchat before the order was up. Very reasonable amount of time. I coated my House Homefries & Basted Eggs with some Salt & Black Pepper before digging in. Everything was very good, particularly the homefries. They use a bit of green bell pepper in their Homefries, which adds a great differential in flavor. The Avocado Toast - I wish I could be as exuberant with my opinion, but I just can't. The Avocado was super "skimpy". The slice of ciabatta bread that held the Avocado Toast as a 'foundation' was pretty long, and on this bread, there were, at the most, four 1/4" slices of Avocado. ... Umm...? Regardless, the eggs were eggs, and that was that. The Kickass Benedict - from the first visit to today's visit, this has been the ONLY dish my man has ordered and he's loved it every time. Today, I tasted the hollandaise sauce (that gets spooned over the poached eggs). I can tell you that it was definitely yummy BUT! If you can't handle some heat, this is NOT the dish for you. Wooooah baby!! I *think* the entire floor of the restaurant (excluding the guests seated at the bar) is handled by only 1 waitress (the uber-professional one), with another waitress handling only top-off's of beverages, but I could be wrong. Due to the understaffing, we waited about 15 minutes for someone to notice that we were finished, and that we were ready to have our plates removed. We waited another 15-20 minutes before we could grab the attention of someone to ask for our cheque. The total for everything was definitely reasonable. Luckily, we weren't in a rush. It was just a lot of time spent on "waiting". Overall, I'd NEVER rate this restaurant as anything negative. However, I can't say this establishment is "Stellar", either. It's a beautiful restaurant that will supply an exquisite ambience during a 'better-than-average' meal, for a fair price. These are all GREAT attributes. Frankly, I look for a little more than this, in a restaurant. Although I was not disappointed, I unfortunately was not impressed.

Such a great brunch spot! Came here with a group of friends over the long weekend. We came early in the morning and we were seated right away, but shortly after the restaurant got packed. They have bar seating and booth seating. Booth seating is kind of small, but we were a group of 5 and we were able to sit comfortably. Staff was nice and attentive. Food was delicious and we all enjoyed every bit of it. I ordered the corned beef hash with eggs which was soo good. My friends ordered huevos rancheros and the breakfast burrito, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The pancakes were amazing, which we ordered to share amongst us. The pancakes were thick, and so fluffy. The food portions were a good size and we left feeling so full. We loved our meals, and want to come back again to try more stuff.

Pegasus is a place that gets everything right. The kitchen is efficient, the atmosphere is welcoming, and you can feel the attention to detail this establishment puts into everything, down to the silverware (sturdy and feels good in your hand). This family business understands proper hospitality. The menu is not overloaded with options but still provides a solid variety of choices. They stick to what they're good at and they succeed. I ordered the Kick A** Benedict and I was skeptical, but it delivered. The texture of the bread provided a light crunch and perfect mouth feel. The hollandaise sauce was unique and differentiated itself from other Benedicts, so the dish was far from boring. The pancakes were exactly what I look for in a pancake. Perfectly golden crispy outside, soft inside. Not much more to say than they got a simple classic just right. Wait was not too long as the staff here is efficient in serving and providing service. I look forward to my next visit at this authentic, local classic.

Such an amazing place, especially for brunch. I believe it had a face lift within the past year or so, and it's adorable and cozy. Staff is amazing and attentive - I ordered the Kick A** Benedict and neglected to ask for it without the ham. Either the owner or another waitress took notice and asked if anything was wrong with it. When I explained to hear my mishap, she gave us the bill and had reduced the price! Very sweet and not needed. The good is delicious and it came out quick. The Kick A** Benedict has perfectly cooked eggs and a spicy hollandaise sauce that was to die for. My fiance had the Banana Fosters French Toast and it was absolutely delicious. The bananas were browned perfectly and it was served with vanilla ice cream. Bellini's were too good but very dangerous with how quickly you drink them. Will be back!

I usually go to Mike's Diner but wanted to change it up. The wait at Pegasus on a weekend morning wasn't too bad. We called in advance to put our name to the wait list. Those that asked for a table when they got there had to wait about 10-15 minutes is what I observed. I got the peaches and cream french toast. The flavors were nice but I was left pretty hungry after. I guess I wished there were combos or sides that came with my dish like Mike's Hungry Man Meal. My partner got the Kick Ass Benedict. It was a bit spicy but like its name, it was just a kick. My partner was also hungry after. I wouldn't come here again but the Christmas decorations and spirit/vibes were top tier. Everyone was coming in greeting each other, the bar seats was almost full as well. It was just bustling in there.

I went here for brunch at 11:30am. When I arrived, I had to give my name and phone number to the hostess. Hence, she called me when a table was available. She estimated it was going to be an hour wait. At noon, we were seated. This restaurant was quite busy. Moreover, there were three people I encountered. The waitress who took our orders. The busboy who delivered our drinks and he set up the table for us. Also, the hostess was the one who refilled my coffee cup. I ordered the Kick A** Benedict. It was different. Typically, it is served with English muffins. This dish had it with ciabatta bread instead. I wish the hollandaise sauce was spicer. The Benedict had a sprinkle of red pepper flakes. I expected "kick a**" to have a kick to it. It was quite mild. The hash brown was ok. I had to add salt and pepper to it. I would come back here to try other dishes. I want to see why this restaurant has such high ratings.

This place is hidden in Bay Ridge but offers an old school diner vibe that is super cute and cozy. The staff is super friendly and the food is well priced. 1. BANANAS FOSTER FRENCH TOAST (8/10): This was delicious. If you are feeling something sweet, I would definitely recommend this. It had really great toppings that paired well with the French toast. 2. TEX MEX BREAKFAST BURRITO (8/10): This was a solid choice. It was big and came with waffle fries. It was filling and they did not skip out on what is inside the burrito. 3.OMELETE (7/10); This tasted like a classic omelete. It was good but did not stand out that much. On the weekend there is usually a small wait but most of the time we are seated almost right away.

Excellent diner! They had a brunch menu separate and every dish sounded good!! I decided on the mesculin salad and added chicken and avocado for protein and good fat. LOL My daughter daughter wasn't feeling well so she had a bowl of the chicken noodle soup and some toast. Service was great. The menu said they only took cash or Venmo, but when the waitress saw me struggling to reset my Venmo password (since I never use it!) she told me she could accept a debit or credit card. Good tip for her! When we're in Brooklyn again we would definitely return.

This was my first time at this cozy, family friendly little diner. The food was great and service was awesome, I met my kids and grandkids and they were so accommodating. Great place.

I love eating here! Food is always so good, from Bfast to a nice yummy salad and many more delicious dishes. Everything is always fresh and the staff is always nice and attentive.

Holy moly. This is my kinda brunch place! Not "trendy", but also well-maintained and clean. Friendly servers. Food is ridiculous. Had their strawberry shortcake pancakes and peaches and cream French toast. Both so ridiculously good - rich, filling, great portions. This place is definitely for people that think of brunch not as a "drink all you can on a weekend afternoon" but as a place to get a big ole plate of breakfast food. No credit cards accepted here; only cash or Venmo.

Quirky, but fun. Expensive, yet somewhat affordable. Eclectic, but not far out. Intimate, yet family focused. Fast, but with some elegance. Tasty, yet needs a bit more off the top. Cute staff, but only one server. Right near the subway, yet it never runs when you need it. Safe area, but near some run down spots. Near the bridge, yet so far away. Cash only, but there are signs that warn you. You will leave happy, yet somewhat forlorn to leave.

The huevos rancheros are good but my Orange juice taste is not good.. more water (ice) than orange

I usually hate Diner food so i never go. My boyfriend wants Diner food so I checked reviews for places near me. We came here and immediately I loved the interior design. It's so cute. This place has become the exception for me and will literally now be one of my favorite places to eat. The service is wonderful and the food was fresh and delicious. I can't stop thinking about it.

I got the kick ass Benedict. It was so good. I wish it was a little bit spicier, but it was still good.

We happily came here for coffee after being so rudely ignored at another neighborhood spot (Caffe Cafe). We were seated right away at the counter (it felt nice and spacious) and we were served almost immediately, too. If we didn't have a lunch party to attend, we would have ordered food, too. We will be back soon for a full meal, as I see they have a plant-based burger on the menu and I always appreciate a vegan option.

Very good food. Solid breakfast and lunch neighborhood spot. Place is clean and service is clean prompt and friendly. My only complaint is the French fries. They have an odd bread coating. They are terrible. If you love French fries, don't order these.

Came by on a Friday morning around 1115am and place was quite busy. Didnt have to wait long to be seated at the bar but there was a wait for the tables. They had dividers between tables and between seats on the bar so it felt pretty social distancy. Sitting at the bar isn't the most comfortable for my height but it's not bad. Peaches and cream French toast- delicious! Love how everything complements well with each other. The whole thing wasn't too sweet either. Kick a$$ benedict- also delicious. The ham that they use is quite thick so that was nice. The ciabatta bread was also a good substitute as it did not get soggy easily. Mint lemonade- its decent for a lemonade but I kinda felt like not minty enough Overall, I had a good delicious brunch

I like this place but not enough to earn a 4. This theme looks like its a diner but also have a pegasus statue which makes me think of Greece which is cool. Their menu designs are also pretty and artistic. The service is good they seat you pretty fast and take care of your needs as well. We ordered the french toast, avocado toast, and a regular plate of egg and sausage. I enjoyed the toast it was nice and fluffy and I love the peaches on top. The avocado toast was also a nice brunch meal.

Not only is the service very attentive the tall waitress goes beyond all expectations which is a rare thing of this new world.the food is so good,this time I took my sister & she loved it as well.im glad her first experience was we ordered their Lemon Soup,it was great!!she ordered a Greek wrap & I ordered the Philly cheesesteak wrap& boneless buffalo wings(so good I forgot a pic !!

Super cute small diner. Boyfriend and I got BEC (good) and fresh oj(great) for a quick breakfast. Had a cup of coffee while I waited and honestly for diner coffee it was a good cup of coffee, best I've ever had from a diner. Service was amazing everyone was nice and helpful.

This is definitely one of the best brunch places I've had in bay ridge for sure. Way better than cebu! Usually for egg Benedict's I don't enjoy the hollandaise sauce too much but this spicy spin on it really did it for me. My friend also got a fresh squeezed orange juice not pictured but highly rated. My friend also said her ice caramel latte was subpar. Besides that the food was great & fresh. The eggs were made perfect. Also be sure to bring cash here or have Venmo, they don't accept card. The waitress was super sweet and friendly and the place was decked out in pegasuses (naturally) which was sick.

Game here for a late brunch today and we were sat within 5 minutes(since they don't take reservations). There was no parking around here, it took about 15 min to find a spot that ended up being only 2 blocks away. We got a short stack of pancakes to share for the table: HIGHLY recommend, they were so so yummy. Also got the breakfast burrito which was delicious and filling, it's served with home fries but I would substitute these out, they weren't very appealing and tasted bland. Other people got the eggs Benedict, and a bacon cheese omelette. Our waiter was so nice and all our food came so quickly. It also was well priced we all paid less then $20! Would return:)

Came here with my dad one morning. I love a good diner! It had an old diner feel. My dad got the western omelette and I got the breakfast tacos that came with waffle fries. We enjoyed our meals, they were filling. I liked my creative breakfast taco dish! My breakfast tacos were $15. The menus on Yelp and Google don't seem to be updated from what I can see. The service was good, there weren't many people there so early in the morning. I recommend Pegasus for a nice diner breakfast!

Old school dinner with a creative twist on classics in a well executed menu! Hidden gem! Happened to be in the neighborhood and dropped by. I'd consider going out of my way to return for the Avo pesto smash benedict with prosciutto, the hashbrowns and whole wheat blueberry pancakes. The benedict well composed; the layers of flavor just work! The hashbrowns, thin/crisp and extremely flavorful. The pancakes had a slight crisp but were airy, fluffy and still filling. My dining companion had the chicken quinoa wrap; it looked incredibly fresh and by all accounts tasted incredible. Our server and frankly all the staff sweet, attentive enough and cultivate the rare neighborhood vibe with their regulars.

There's something so special about the food here. The quality and consistency is incredible. Their brunch is a Bay Ridge staple. My favorites are the eggs Benedict with toasted crunchy, yet chewy, ciabatta bread and the juevos rancheros served on a crunchy tostada. Every single bite stays crunchy, I don't know how they do that. And the banana foster French toast has a slight crisp on the outside in EVERY BITE. Even with syrup soaking in! I truly love everything about this place, including the staff. And I always feel satisfied but never sluggish even if I order two dishes. I'm guessing that means they use ingredients that aren't crap. One thing to note is it is CASH only, but there is an ATM in the back :).

Good brunch that everyone goes to. Long wait because it's a very popular place for brunch. Service was okay Cash only. No dairy-free options, which is upsetting because it's bay ridge and basically every place has dairy-free options. Omelettes were good and cooked well. They arrived to the table very fast.

Great diner on 3rd avenue in Bay Ridge. I usually get one of their omelettes when I go, which comes with a side of home fries and buttered toast- all very good. They used to have a long wait time on the weekends but since covid it's pretty easy to find a table. Top notch breakfast & lunch spot . Always a line but moves quickly. Great food and excellent service. Can not really accommodate large parties as the booths are either for 4 or 2 people. Fresh squeezed orange juice or lemonade a must ! So may wonderful choices , reasonable prices . Worth the trip and the wait

Pegasus is a hidden gem in Bayridge. Have been in business since last 30 years. Avo Pesto Smash is a MUST TRY!!! English muffins topped with basted eggs. Served with pesto sauce. One of the best pesto sauce I have ever tried. Extremely flavorful. I guess I should have asked for their secret ingredient. Great staff! Would definitely visit this place again.

One of my fav diners here in Bayridge. The pancakes are fluffy and delish. Portions are perfect. Weekends it can get busy but worth the wait IMO.

One of the best breakfasts that you can find in the area. If you come during peak brunch time, there will likely be a wait since it's popular. There must be something about their grill, because their eggs are always cooked perfectly, the bacon perfectly crispy, and the home fries perfectly fried. Their home fries are actually seasoned well, also. The coffee does the job. But their fresh squeezed orange juice is soo delicious! The waitstaff is always friendly and quick to take your order. Eating breakfast/brunch here never disappoints! Must try in the area for a good and hearty breakfast. Cash only and they now accept Venmo also.

Both were super delicious especially the eggs Benedict. Different from a traditional one, it had layers of English muffin, thick slice of bacon, eggs, topped with cheese.
