"Since it opened in 1985, Peking Gourmet is one of the oldest Korean Chinese food restaurants in Orange County. The interior resembles a typical Chinese American restaurant circa the  90s and the menu offers the typical broccoli beef, egg rolls, wonton soup, and chicken fried rice. But the best representation of the Korean Chinese fusion is found in the jajangmyeon. The fermented black bean sauce noodles served with tender bites of pork originated in Incheon, Korea, by Chinese immigrants." - Jenn Tanaka

portion was huge, dumplings were crispy on the outside and soft inside, battered shrimp was so crispy and delicious with the sauce, beef with the veggies was amazing quality, black bean noodles had fresh veggies as well, and the assorted veggie and meat plate was delicious 10/10 recommend!!

Google
We ordered 1 black bean noodles, 1 spicy seafood noodle and 1 sweet & sour pork- and left with such disappointment. The black bean noodles were nowhere close to the jjajangmyun that we have had at other restaurants and the seafood in the black bean noodles had a very fish smell to it. I had to take all of it out. The seafood noodle soup also had the same fishy taste. And I was appalled by how flavorless the soup tasted. It just tasted like water and spice- no taste of the veggies or the seafood that was in the bowl. The sweet and sour pork had a good outer layer but the meat was cut into small parts leaving you with more of the air and the fried layer. As for service- they were welcoming at first but never came to our table once the food came out.

Google
Portions and Prawns are huge. The kimchi is sweet. Mien is umami flavored with chew. Great value and flavor but bathrooms need a makeover. This is conveniently located in a strip mall next to automotive repair and maintenance shops. You can tell they are great value and taste when you see a bunch of business men and their constituents dinning with Tsingtao, Cast and Soju. Make sure you get the 3 flavor Chachiang Jiajang mien and not the regular which has no chunks of shrimp, scallops, squids, and crispy pork. We also added shrimp fried rice and fried meat dumplings. I want to come back to try the sweet and sour pork/chicken and jjambong.

Came here for some noodles on New Year's day. Noodles for longevity, right!? Overall food was pretty good, but my favorite part was the kimchi. Ordered two noodle dishes, the Jajangmyeon and the Jjamppong which are two Korean dishes I've had before, but not here. I will saw that these are two dishes that are somewhat nostalgic, since I've had them a good amount of times as a child. As with many dishes like that, there is a certain flavor I'm expecting. These two were not exactly that, but still pretty good in general. The Jajangmyeon (black bean noodle) has that really savory (slightly sweet) black bean sauce with the chewy noodles. If you have never had this dish, the dark color might scare you off, but give it a try, the flavor is not as intimidating as the overall look is. There's chopped up onions, other vegetables and small pieces of beef inside. The overall flavor was there, but I think it just needed that flavor more concentrated. The Jjamppong which is a spicy soup was comforting on a cold New Years morning. There's carrots, onions, zucchini, squid and shrimp in this one. It's not as spicy as it appears from the color and I'd actually enjoy it more if it had more spice. Along with that you get that "seafood" flavor, so if that's not your thing, be warned. I believe the noodles are the same type as in the Jajangmyeon. This is a Chinese/Korean restaurant, as opposed to solely Korean, and they only give out one banchan, the kimchi. I was actually surprised that it was so good. It's sweeter in flavor than usual and of course has the slight spice and sour pickled flavor. Got several refills of this one. It's a pretty basic designed place with lots of tables. There appeared to be many larger groups being accommodated for the holiday. Even though it was quite busy, service was quick and attentive. If you are looking for some of the best kimchi, along with the entrees, try this place out.

Google
Family style Chinese-korean establishment. Large Portions, fair prices n decent service. Good to go with 4+ people so food can be shared. Jajangmyeon=savory, caramel black bean sauce over thick, slightly chewy wheat flour noodles gives a unique taste and texture.

I drive up from San Diego for this, and it's so worth it every time. 2019: Peking gourmet is delicious. As good as in Korea for sure. UPDATE 2020: yup, still delicious. Also, I saw no mention of this, so I will. PEOPLE, PLEASE TRY THEIR 간짜장. IT. IS. SO. DANG. GOOD. Change your life with 간짜장, you won't regret it. 😍 UPDATE 2021 (6/2021): this place is so good that updating my review over the years is almost becoming pointless.... BUT, I realized that last year I shouted out the 간짜장 without even posting a pic! I added a few more photos to help out my fellow noodle lovers. Eat your heart out guys. Leave some for me tho. *pro tip, ALWAYS get your sauce on the side for entree orders (pork, shrimps, etc) . Dip and go as you eat. This way, you get that crunch even during the 4th quarter of your meal. #winning #yourwelcome UPDATE 2022: Yup, still Yes. UPDATE 2023 (5/13/23): Stillllll yes! I came in just half an hour before closing due to traffic driving up from San Diego. But the owner and staff still greeted me with kindness, and my food was as AMAZING as always. Thank you guys

Google
This is Chinese restaurant but owned and run by Korean family. You can find typical Chinese food as well as some popular Korean noodles. The food is very good and they offer free kimchi (free refills).

Google
Good Chinese food. We tried the shrimp fried rice and the sweet and sour chicken as main courses. Both meals were extremely delicious. When you go there, don't expect a high level of courtecy.

Yelp
I came here again for the first time in a while. The restaurant was surprisingly full on a weekend night. The last few times I visited during pre-covid times, the restaurant seemed to struggle to fill even the main dining room. Food is still great... It's actually even better than I remember. The prices are a bit high but I'd say it's worth it for the occasional treat. I still recognize the owner and staff which is a nice comforting surprise. Glad to see this place is still thriving.

Yelp
Overall would give this place a 3/5! First time trying Chachiang Mein and I thought that it was just okay. The sweet and spicy pork was pretty good so I will definitely get it again. The hostess was very nice since it was my first time coming here and she answered all of my questions. They have a good amount of tables inside and a lot of seats if you're waiting for your to go order. It's giving like a wooden rustic vibe to it. Chachiang Mein 2.5/5: I saw how hyped it was on tiktok and instagram but I personally thought it was just okay. It wasn't exactly the flavor that I was expecting and I wish there were more meat bits. They do give out a large portion so that was a plus. Sweet and Sour Pork 3/5: It came with rice but the rice wasn't that fresh. I was expecting the box to be filled with meat! The meat itself was not that crispy but it tasted pretty good when dipped into the sauce. Thankfully they put the sauce on the side so you can put as much as you please.

Yelp
I was really craving black bean noodles as well as sweet and sour pork and this place definitely made my experience worth while. String Bean 4/5 - I love stir fried string beans and this was very good. They give you a generous amount of the vegetable which I liked a lot. Sweet and Sour Pork 5/5 - For the price and quantity of the dish, this was very worth it. I liked everything about it and would get it again Hot Noodle 5/5 - I wish they gave a little more seafood but overall the broth was very rich and tasted excellent. Black Bean Noodle 4/5 - This was what I wanted but I wish there was a little more flavor to the noodles. Still good nonetheless. Overall I would come here again and for the price every dish I tried was worth it!

Yelp
Stumbled across a little hole in the wall restaurant! We went around 4pm so there was no wait at all. We ordered the black bean noodle and it thought it was okay. A bit bland and nothing special about it. Their house kimchi is really good though! So mixed together, the noodles tasted better. We also ordered the sweet and sour chicken and I appreciate how the sauce is on the side so the chicken remains crispy and not soggy.

Yelp
This place has been here for 40 years and it's no surprise why. The customer service is on point, the food is delicious and the inside is very dim and quiet and very zen like. The only complaint i have and its really not that big but big enough to knock off a star is that it is definitely dated on the inside and outside and could use a little update and some dusting.

Yelp
Delicious Korean style Chinese food! This restaurant is so straight up. No fancy-schmancy menu options. No wow factor when you walk in. Not even reservations allowed unless it is a party greater than 10. Peking Gourmet is just straight good old Korean-Chinese food I remember eating as a teenager. We came here for my husband's birthday last night. Hubbie is a very straight up guy lol. He doesn't care for fancy, or the latest food trends. What he does care for is some good food with the right portions to make him happy. And that's what Peking Gourmet did for him last night (and us!) We really enjoyed our dinner here. Their dishes were delicious! We ordered: Jja hang myun ~ had a couple bites, was so good! Mongolian beef ~ delicious! Honey walnut shrimp ~ SO good! Probably my favorite of the evening. So crispy and flavorful Egg drop soup ~ daughter ordered it, but it was so good! Definitely looking forward to coming again. It brings me back to my younger days of enjoying this type of food with my family.

Yelp
First time at this restaurant and thought the food was delicious. The kimchi that they served with the meal is mild and flavorful. The servers were friendly and the restaurant has a traditional Chinese decor that compliments the dishes they serve. The noodles were a bit long, so asking for scissors and small bowls to share might be a good idea. For those who don't like hot spicy, the dishes we ordered were not at all but flavorful. Just note that they are closed on Tuesdays.

Yelp
Peking Gourmet has great Korean Chinese food. I always passed by this restaurant and decided to finally give it a try. I came here for lunch and got seated right away. The food came out quickly and was really good! I got the small jjajangmyeon for $7 and it was one of the best jjajangmyeon I've had in OC. The sweet and sour pork was crispy and flavorful. Our meal came out to be $24 with tip. The interior of the restaurant is the anything fancy but I am definitely coming back again for their great food.

YS L.

Yelp
I love Korean-Chinese food and this restaurant is a staple from my childhood so I'm glad they're still around. We weren't too hungry today, so we ordered the tangsuyuk and a small order of jjajangmyun. The prices are very affordable for what you get. The tangsuyuk is crispy and the sauce is tangy and sweet. I really appreciated the portion size. The small jjajangmyun was actually pretty big (in my opinion). The waiter brought over water when he saw we were running low, and the food came out quickly. I also like the lowkey vibe of the restaurant.

Mary Ann C.

Yelp
Great dining experience. The interior is large, and clean. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable. Plenty of menu selection varying from typical Chinese menu offerings; veggies, seafood, chicken, beef, etc. Menu is very easy to read. Excellent spot for Chinese/Korean dine-in experience. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Black bean noodles were solid, nothing crazy to write home about. Mongolian beef was the best dish of the day. Service was absolutely atrocious, I work in the service industry and trust me I do not ask for much because I know how hard it can be. Hearing 4 separate times, with a huge attitude, "WAITTT PLEASE WAIT, SERVER IS COMING." wasn't the best. Keep in mind I asked about 10 minutes apart. Lol. I wasn't upset, I understand it's busy, I just said okay and kept waiting. Eventually about 45 minutes into dinner we finally got water. Don't feel the need to come back here, food was okay, but not worth the service. Please do better, life is tough, I am just a person coming to have a nice meal, no need to dump your stress and attitude at us.

Yelp
One of the better Koreanized Mandarin restaurants in the area. Big portions for lunch and everything we've tried over the years every time we are in the area did not disappoint. I believe all their noodle dishes use house made hand pulled noodles (a culinary dying art form). Extensive menu with bargain lunch specials considering quality, portion, and inflation. We love dthe black bean noodles and the Mongolian beef.

Randy T.

Yelp
Still the best Chinese:Korean restaurant in Garden Grove. We got the sweet and sour pork and noodles.

Dave C.

Yelp
Old school Chinese Korean joint with a plethora of tasty and well-priced options. Really great for groups (and sharing!!). The black bean noodle and spicy seafood noodle jjampong were both tasty and heavily seasoned. You can order these in 1/2 sizes too. We also liked the kkampong sweet and spicy shrimp as well as the Mongolian beef. I wasn't as big a fan of the fried pork tangsuyeok or the fried mandu dish we sampled. Service was super fast and all of our food appeared on the lazy Susan in no time! Just a great reliable spot for Chinese Korean food/ come hungry (and get ready for a nap afterwards haha).

Kay T.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to eat black bean noodles. Noodle texture is perfect, thick and chewy but not too hard to chew. Sauce is flavorful just right not too salty not too bland. Portion is very big, we had food to take home. Set up like the asian weddings format with round tables all over. Loved how peaceful it waa when I went on sunday morning. Love that theres tea too to eat with the meals. Scallop veggie dish had the best mushroom I ever tasted in my life I circled it. Also had jjampong , yummy but a bit spicy for me, walnut shrimp was yummy, but my fav of the dishes was the jjajamyun, and veggie scallop dish. Service was good, we didnt wait long before our food came out in fact it was much quicker that we expected we were shocked! I've been here 2 times before, and will definitely be back!

Eleanore D.

Yelp
What a find!! You can barely see this place from the street, and parking is tight but that's because the food is amazing. I'd never been to a Korean influenced Chinese restaurant before but I'm a fan. Favorite dishes from what we ordered: - Best egg flower soup I've ever had... jam packed full of goodies - fish filet hot sauce... it mildly spicy (not really) and sweet - walnut shrimp isn't the mayo covered kind but the fried shrimp taste way better than they look - tofu mushroom... excellent So good. We'll be back!

Yelp
Naturally IG reel has brought me to this place. I am a fan of ChaChiang Mien and this place apparently does it well. Food: You know the ChaChiang Mien is good when everyone orders at least one bowl at each table. At least that's what I noticed. The ChaChiang Mien is not loaded with MSG or heavy salt. It's not overly sweet like supermarket instant ones. That's not how it should taste like. The ingredients taste very natural. The flavor is not overwhelming. We also ordered the sweet and sour pork chop which is a must ! It's super crunchy and pork doesn't have strong pork taste. The sweet and sour sauce isn't over powering either. We ordered the Eggplant with Hot Garlic Sauce. It isn't spicy at but the garlic sauce pairs nicely with the eggplant. We are definitely coming back for other dishes ! Service: At the time we went, it wasn't too busy and there are constantly servants walking around. Bonus fact: some workers speak Chinese and Korean. That's pretty impressive. Ambiance: If you grew up going to traditional Chinese restaurants, this is home run for you. The interior is a little dark and old school but that doesn't translate to dirty or messy. I felt comfortable eating and I have no complaints. Overall, it was a good dinning experience!

Hailey J.

Yelp
came for sunday lunch and it was fairly busy but we were able to be seated immediately. the ambiance is like any standard korean-chinese restaurant with red decor and round tables ~Food~ sweet and sour pork: 10/10!! the best dish we had here. the pork was so tender and the breading was so crispy. sauce was delicious too spicy seafood noodle soup: 9/10 very delicious! i love the flavor and spice level. the only thing is that there is a lack of seafood- we only got a few pieces of squid and clams green bean: 9/10 green beans are always a go! these were yummy but it was a bit bland. we added more seasoning and it was perfect black bean noodles: 10/10 perfect noodles! the flavor was on point and there was plenty of meat and veggies. the noodles were also nice and chewy ~Service: super quick, ok friendliness ~Cost: $ very affordable for noodles ~Parking: limited parking at the plaza during lunch hours

Sherluna V.

Yelp
Love how homey this restaurant is! Came on a Friday evening and was seated immediately. We looked around and a lot of people ordered the black bean noodle and sweet and sour pork. Black bean noodle comes in a size small and large - large was good enough to share, although we did see some people get the large on their own. The taste was typical but for size and value ($12), it was good. Just wish they included some radish but at least it comes with kimchi. Kimchi was nice add to break up the food since the black bean noodle can get tiring to eat. The winner was definitely the sweet and sour pork. It was $17 but came with a lot. The texture is crunchy yet soft, and has a lot of air in it (if that makes sense) that made it fun to eat. Overall great value and would definitely come back. Fast service too.

Eun S.

Yelp
I've been coming here for over 20 years and remembered enjoying the food here but now I don't find it very good. I ordered black bean noodle and sweet n sour chicken. Noodles were decent but I found the chicken really gross. Not sure if they fry in old oil but I couldn't stand the aftertaste of oil or old chicken? The sauce couldn't hide that aftertaste. I also noticed they don't put black fungus in their sauce like they used. I will stick to noodle dishes from now on

Lily T.

Yelp
Sorry, forgot to take photos! Stopped by after church to celebrate a birthday. Chinese Korean food here never disappoints. Jajangmein: their portions are large, noodles are chewy, and flavor is delicious. Seafood noodle soup: I forgot what they called it but it's tasty and filled with octopus. Fried mandu: oily yet crispy Sweet & sour fried shrimp: tasted like "orange" chicken except it's with shrimp. We had sauce on the side to keep the shrimp crispy.

Mykim L.

Yelp
Visited South Korea recently and proud to report back that Peking Gourmet remains one of the best place for Jajangmyeon and Tangsuyuk. Their pricing is the most reasonable and service remain consistent (locals love this place for a reason). Ambiance is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Love the cabbage kimchi they always give you on the side. They are a Garden Grove staple.

Yeeun O.

Yelp
We been here in couple times. Very good foods and they know is the best cooking way for all foods we got like pictures. Our server was nice and friendly. They know how to speak both languages Korean and Chinese. Very convenient. Also I love the most was even if we order one black noodle or jjambong, they split it into two bowls to share it was very nice for me and my hubby. I felt they are actually taking care of customers. One thing personal preference, I wish they have yellow radish for black noodle instead sour cabbage. Very variety menu they have with fair prices. Restaurant looks old, but looks keep it clean. Also front lady and workers were showing very generous smiles when we left restaurant too. I would like to come back next time. I recommend this place and try fried eggplant when you go group of ppl it's superb

Anya H.

Yelp
Hidden gem for Chinese food with Korean twist. Service was great, our server was kind enough to help plate our noodles and was very attentive. SWEET & SOUR PORK (5/5): Favorite dish of the night. Classic fried pork, and you're given a bowl of thick sweet and sour sauce to pour over. It is very lightly fried, and not heavy or thick like other spots. So flavorful, and a must-try when coming here. JAJANGMYEON (5/5): Very delicious, if you haven't tried it before it's almost like sweet, thick noodles with black bean. So delicious here, and noodles had the perfect chew. BEEF FRIED RICE: You can never go wrong with fried rice, well cooked and nothing below expectation. A great complement to the pork and if you're looking for extra protein and rice. I came on a weekend night and it was not busy at all, ambience is great for a few friend(s).

Daniel C.

Yelp
We always come here and get the noodle dishes the shrimp and the meat. My favorite is the jjampong. It is a hot spicy soup based hand made noodle dish. Yes the noodles are hand made, and the broth is a smoky spicy flavorful steaming hot deliciousness that sends your tastebuds into the stratosphere as the nerve endings are stimulated out of this world.

Tom S.

Yelp
Definitely was missing depth in my jjampong and the jajangmeong was meh. If this was my first time I would not come back. The cook was definitely not the one we had from our first experience. The food was bland. The tangsuyuek was crispy and devious however. Would like to give Peking one more try.

Michael Y.

Yelp
This is our go to spot for authentic Chinese food in Orange County. Ok, the decor takes me back to the 80's and sometimes there may be nobody sitting in the restaurant but the flavors of the food here makes your overlook everything else. Definitely get the home made beef fried noodles and the beef roll. The kung pao chicken exceeds the standard. Salt and pepper spare ribs may not be on the menu but they are my favorite! Eggplant and basil with pork is super tasty. Chopped green bean with black bean sauce is very flavorful.

Nicole P.

Yelp
This has been a go to place for my family and I since I was about 5 years old.... I am 28 now! I have not been able to find jajjangmyeon that tops this place. Be sure to also try their jjampong, tangsuyuk, walnut shrimp, and chili garlic shrimp as well!

Connie C.

Yelp
Closed on May 23, 2024 for rodent infestation. Yuck. No reopening date yet. https://www.reddit.com/r/orangecounty/comments/1d0gz9a/orange_county_restaurants_shut_down_by_health/

Yelp
Korean style Chinese food is fresh and tasty at reasonable prices. Service is attentive, responsive, courteous and welcoming. We enjoy the Korean style sweet n sour pork, black bean noodles and spicy seafood noodles.

Jason S.

Yelp
Foods are decent, services are horrible. Basically all the workers are mute and only words they could say were "how many people?" And used removing empty plates as a strategy to kick customers out when they were done eating it looked.

Ben B.

Yelp
This place was really good. Dined there for lunch. A lot of food for $14. Started with egg drop soup. Was typical. Then got the king pao chicken. Good flavor. Came with white rice. Enough for 2. Good service. Will be back.

Adam N.

Yelp
This place is such a hidden gem! Quite literally since the restaurant is kinda hidden behind their big trees in the front of the restaurant. It was quiet on Wednesday night around 8pm. There were two other tables seated. It was first time coming here so we took a few minutes before ordering. All the foods were excellent! The black beans noodles are made to order so we were able to ask them to make it without meat (vegetarian style) for our vegetarian friend. It was delicious and the noodles were the perfect al dente texture. The sweet and sour pork was nice and light which is super surprising since this dish is deep fried but the pork were not oily at all and perfect crisp. The egg planet (eggplant) dish was our random pick but it was also delicious! The dish is coated with this nice garlicky sauce. They also served us some rice along the side for the dishes. Everything was right to our taste. The staffs were also very friendly. They let us know to mix the noodles before it harden and helped us cut up the noodles for easy bites. We shared the dishes between three people but we still had leftovers. I definitely see myself coming back because they have a good variety of dishes, decent prices and vegetarian friendly!

Jessica N.

Yelp
First time, four of us went and ordered different dishes on the lunch special menu to share & try. ( Did not have a chance to try the noodles. ) Lunch special price was reasonable, the food was good, and portions were sizable to share. Forgot to take pics before digging .

Stephanie Zuniga ..

Yelp
Food was delicious! Authentic taste, fresh, and large portions. Egg rolls were light and crispy. Walnut shrimp was so good and the shrimp was huge! The staff were very friendly. Our first time, but definitely not our last!

Grace K.

Yelp
Peking gourmet is a Korean/Chinese restaurant where you can find all your childhood classics such as jahjangmyun (black bean noodles), jahmbong (spicy seafood noodles), and tanhgsooyuhk (sweet and sour pork) This is definitely not my first (or last) visit, and they never disappoint! They have a large dining area with tables that are made for family gatherings, you know, the types of meals you have after a graduation or to celebrate a birthday the large round tables have a lazy Susan for you to fill with family style dishes and share across the table. As soon as you sit down, you are greeted with white rice, onions and black bean sauce, cabbage kimchi and hot tea. All of their items are not only tasty but, generously portioned, hence why you'll notice that their noodle dishes are offered in a smaller portion if desired. During this visit with my family, we ordered the classics named above along with the jelly fish dish (my fave!) and the need fried rice. The fried rice was so good tonight we had to take an order home to go! Since our last visit, they have stopped carrying chili oil but, still have hot sauce available. Also, there is a note on the door stating that they are closed every Tuesday. The staff was friendly and attentive as always, providing great service. If you are in the area or passing through, a definitely must try!

Bob A.

Yelp
The best jajangmyeon noodles I've had in my neck of the woods... the only thing missing was the yellow pickle radishes you see on Kdramas and at the HMart location and at the Source in Buena Park... but I like the sweet and sour pork here better than at the food court at the Source... Really enjoyed walking into a real Korean style Chinese restaurant and seeing it full of older Koreans... it was like a scene out of a Kdrama... loved the atmosphere and the whole vibe... might have to bring my own pickled radish next time I come though... that's why I only gave it four stars... 5 stars if I got my yellow radishes...hahahaha

Serena Y.

Yelp
Always my go to place when I'm craving Korean noodles. I get this and the fried sweet and sour pork. We also got the honey walnut shrimp big piece and the string beans not bad but a bit more sauce than I preferred

Jasmine Z.

Yelp
My boyfriend wanted to introduce me to Korean Chinese food, so we came here one weekday night. Doesn't look like much from the outside but once inside you can see that the restaurant is bustling with both Chinese and Korean customers. We split the jajiangmian and fried dumplings and had enough food for four meals! I don't think I'm the biggest fan of jajiangmian, but I did love the dumplings. The kimchi that they provide as a side was some of the best kimchi I've ever had, and the waiter did a great job of constantly providing us with refills. Overall, a great meal!

Kevin A.

Yelp
Hidden gem for sure! Family style Korean/Chinese food tucked away in a small -drive right past it if you're going over 20 miles an hour - plaza in garden grove. It was my first time there but will definitely not be my last. The service was excellent and prompt - the wait staff was very attentive and made sure we had water available all the time. The food was clean, delicious and very filling. We ordered the following to share: -The black bean paste with onions -Kimchee -Mongolia beef (x3 orders) -orange chicken(2 orders) -black bean noodles (2 orders) - cha Chiang mein noodles. (2 orders) - sizzling rice soup (1 order) All which was delicious. We ended up eating everything but i really wish we had some left overs so we could eat some more at home haha I am definitely coming back here. It's the perfect place to go out for a meal with friends or family.

Yelp
Fast service. Nice servers and delicious food. Jjajamyeong and sweet and sour pork are very good.

Yelp
I had the sweet and sour pork, but I wouldn't recommend it. The batter was soggy and had a lot of uncooked clumps. The pork was tough and were in large cuts making it very hard to eat. The sweet and sour sauce was good tho.

Yelp
The food is not that great, the chowmein and chicken had no flavor no salt it taste like nothing. I was surprised since it had so many good reviews. Definitely do not recommend this place Panda Express way better.

Yelp
Highly highly recommend the yellow leek with pork. Portion was very large and not too greasy. We also ordered pan fried dumplings, sweet and sour pork, filet fish in hot sauce, jjajangmyun, and jamppong. Everything was delicious and we happily had leftovers to take home. This was the best Chinese/Korean restaurant I've been to in a while! Worth the 1-hour drive down to revisit.

Yelp
The best Korean/Chinese food in OC! I feel like it's hard to find a true Korean/Chinese restaurant in OC. This place is truly authentic. We have tried many dishes here because we make it a goal to try at least one new item every time we go. Their menu is big! So far, we haven't had a bad dish. Our favorites are definitely the jajangmyeon and tangsuyuk; however, everything else is pretty good. If you come for lunch, they have a great lunch special that comes with rice and soup. Sometimes they forget to give you the soup so make sure to ask for it. I also love their kimchi. My boyfriend always eats like 3 refills of it whenever we are here. The workers here are also so friendly and nice. They have mostly older workers and they are all so friendly! They give me warm vibes. If you're unfamiliar with the menu, the workers will definitely help you through it and give recommendations. This is definitely my comfort restaurant. Everyone should definitely come support this restaurant. You really can't go wrong with any dish!

Yelp
AMAZING!! Was craving jajangmyeon and sweet & sour pork. I went with my friend who order jampong and they were nice enough to split the order so that we could each try both. (We both got one bowl of each) Food was DELICIOUS. I'll for sure be going back for more- they do get busy though but the wait is worth it. Also, they give you a side of steamed white rice if you'd like. The kimchi was to die for. So good! Not too sour. My friend says they usually give raw onion and pickled radish but we weren't offered any this time. Definitely a go to for when you're having that craving.

Yelp
Ok, my last review was just ignorant af. I came in initially with a closed mind and a narrow of way of thinking of what Chinese food is. But, after coming in here more often with my family, who loves this place btw, we got to know the workers and people who run this place. Korean-Chinese food, aka Sino-Korean food. My new found love. Never did I know that this was different when it came to American Chinese food. When my friends ordered for me, I realized I was ordering the wrong thing the whole time. I was drooling over the black bean noodles. Such a interesting taste; different, but something I enjoyed. It was the noodles that got me. I'm sorry for the last review, how ignorant I was.

Yelp
Prices have incredibly increased and food portion seems to have changed a bit. Almost the same amount to a little less noodles. Had take out order from here, $400 worth and feels like they skipped out on us. Our families have been coming here for over 16 years.... but honestly it's gone down hill.

Yelp
Good place for big parties and family style eats. It's Korean/Chinese fusion restaurant but I would say most of the food is catered to Chinese style. The Korean dishes were okay here and nothing truly stands out but if I were to choose any favorite dish, I would go for the hot sour soup. The restaurant did have great service and food came out super fast so definitely appreciated with my hungry bunch of friends lol this place I would say would satisfy and older crowd. Definitely could take my parents here
