"When a heaping pile of juicy fried chicken arrived at my table at Pelicana Chicken, my first reaction was, 'There’s no way we’ll finish this.' And while our table of two didn’t quite wipe the tray of chicken clean, we came pretty darn close. That’s because the pieces of boneless chicken have crispy skins glazed in tangy Pelicana sauce, a compelling mixture of Korean spices like garlic, onion, and gochujang that’s so appealing, you keep coming back even after you’re full." - Eater Staff

I am giving 4 stars because the service was so good. We had a large group and the food came quickly. It's a good place to get chicken. I just prefer some other places personally. Again, service and wait times were great. We were all split on the Cheesy Snowy fries. Not my favorite but my wife and a couple of my kids liked them. The Spicy Mayo sauce was pretty good.

I went here with my twin brother on Friday 04/25. We were seated at the bar and we had a great experience here with the customer service and we had our questions answered. A very simple process here is to press the button for service, but the servers were around and checking up on us. They serve you a small bowl of popcorn as a snack. We ordered the ban ban soy crispy chicken wings half and half. Sides: Truffle fries and peli cheese ball Drink: Pitcher of Yueling beer.

Upon entering I was greeted by Jay who was great help, I chose the Smokey mayo sauce for my wings and it was spicy yet creamy. The flavor of the food was absolutely amazing! If you are looking for great tasting chicken Pelicana is the place to go. Overall great experience definitely coming back

Google
The best quality chicken in the ktown area, high review considering the number of restaurants in the area. They do only allow for one sauce flavor regardless of what size you order which id prefer to be updated but otherwise fantastic

I recently visited Pelicana Chicken and ordered the fries, cheese sticks, and the Banban chicken (split between original and honey garlic). Let me tell you—the food was out of this world! The quality was fantastic, and the flavor was explosive. Each bite was juicy and packed with incredible taste. The atmosphere really added to the experience, with good vibes and great music that made the meal even more enjoyable. The service was beyond amazing; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend Pelicana Chicken to everyone looking for delicious food, a fun atmosphere, and excellent service. I can’t wait to go back!

Google
Love pelicana! I have been here many times and they are always consistent with the quality. I think this is the one of the best Korean fried chicken around the dfw area! Chicken is always freshly cooked, crispy, and so flavorful! The pelli ball combo is to die for! Be careful though, it’s hot. Since they cook it fresh, it does take a while for it to come out, but so worth it! yummy!

Google
the best korean fried chicken ever! we always get the crispy wings with honey soy + pelicana shaken fries. the wings are always so juicy and flavorful and the fries are amazing and sweet! we've come back over five times and won't stop coming!

Having been to Pelicana in Buena Park a few times, I had very high expectations for this location to live up to the brand name. I was surely not disappointed! The staff here is actually a bit better too if I’m being honest. Really appreciated the timeliness and of course, the food is the exact same! Grateful to have the option to eat it coast to coast or right here at home!

Yelp
[3.5 - rounded up since I didnmt have in-store experience] I had Pelicana Chicken twice, but both were take out; so, I can't tell about in-store service. Also, that the chickens were consumed later at home. Taking things into consideration (in regards to take out chickens), chickens were mediocre, neither good nor impressive. Upon consuming, both sauced and classic, were getting very greasy unlike few other Korean fried chicken places. Perhaps that's due to the difference in its batter/skin of the chicken as well. Sauces were really tasty, however. I saw multiple reviews that they had way too much sauce, but I thought it could have more sauce. Pickled radishes were really tasty and crunchy as well.

Yelp
We had lunch here, it was our first time, and it wasn't busy at all. We were 1 of 2 tables when we arrived. Server was dismissive and they were out of the sauces that we decided on for our chicken wings so we compromised. Our serve did make sure we were aware it would take 15-20 minutes to make the chicken so we snacked on the complimentary popcorn and ordered cheese balls ($9) which were bland. Sweet potato fries ($7) were mid and so was the ddukbokki ($15). Just overpriced. However, we did have enough water for our whole dining experience since they left a pitcher for us.

Yelp
Good chicken, vibrant atmosphere, and great service! The original wings were surprisingly flavorful and had a good crunch on the fried exterior. I wasn't a huge fan of the flavor of the signature sauce, and the sauce took away from the crispiness of the chicken. Both wings however, were still very juicy. The boneless cheese flavor was my personal favorite, as the powder was extremely cheesy with the texture being just as good as the wings. There was also a full bar with TVs around the restaurant, so it would be a great place to sit down and watch a game.

Yelp
We came here when this place first opened. The chicken and fries were both good quality. The fries were sweet which was different, but still good. The hot spicy chicken was very spicy which is great because we love spice. Be careful if you're sensitive to spice! The sweet soy chicken was good as well. We tried both crispy and original, the crispy is definitely a better choice. Overall, Pelicana was good quality chicken, but nothing crazy or unique about it. The best thing about this place is that the spicy flavors are actually spicy. I don't think I would ever crave it or really want to go back, but I wouldn't mind coming back for the spicy flavors.

Yelp
FOOD Crispy Fried Wings Garlic (9) and Signature (9) Peli Shaken Fries The wings were super crispy and were evenly sauced. Even if it is crispy, the breading/covering on the outside isn't too thick which is great! The flavor was evenly distributed throughout and the meat part of the chicken was very tasty/flavorful. The garlic flavored wings have pretty strong garlic flavor with chunks of garlic but is super tasty. The signature wings are on the sweeter side of sauces but still taste pretty good. Both had a hint of spiciness which made the wings taste super yummy. Peli shaken fries were super crunchy and not too oily. It has some sweet cheese dust on top which is super tasty. Comes with ketchup as well. The sweet cheese dust with the saltiness of the fries is such a great combo. Overall just super yummy and definitely recommend! They also give popcorn while you wait which is nice filler, especially if you're hungry! On a side note what was kind of disappointing is that there wasn't an option to split up the wing flavors for the plates of either 9 or 18. Because of this, there's some sense of flavor fatigue when eating especially if it's between a smaller group of people. VIBES The place is pretty spacious and there is plenty of lighting from the window. There are higher table and lower tables as well. Pretty great and fun atmosphere for just hanging out and eating chicken. SERVICE Service is great! The waitress we had was very polite and patient. She also checked in on us often and was quick to come if we needed anything.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place out because of all the buzz surrounding its opening. This place was packed on a Friday evening. We were seated at the bar so that we wouldn't have to wait. The waiter was really curt with us. I didn't feel comfortable asking questions since he seemed like he didn't want to help us. The people at the bar were actually really kind and attentive to our needs. They constantly kept asking if we needed help. The food took a little longer than expected but I understand that it was a busy night. Our fries came out long before the chicken so they became cold and stale. The chicken was really tender and juicy. I was surprised that it wasn't dry at all. I was very impressed with the chicken. The cabbage slaw added a nice touch. Overall it was a solid experience but minus stars for the service.

Yelp
We were excited for the Honkai event, but I guess they underestimated they amount of people? We walking in on a Friday afternoon at 12:30 ish... no one greeted us or anything/no sign but there was two ladies waiting so we just stood in line. They seem a bit understaffed tbh. Finally a table opens up, the girl comes and ask us if we want to participate in the event, but then tells us they are completely out of wings so we cannot do the event. I wish they offered us other options/substitution so that we could participate a little but it's okay. We ordered off the regular menu; onion rings and cheese ball thingy for apps and then the half order of sauces chicken. The half order was definitely enough for two imo. We got the mild spicy flavor (smoked hot) but our waitress warned us it's not mild at all and really quite hot. I asked about the original flavor but she said it was sweet which I'm not the biggest fan of so I dealt with the spice. She was right it was very spicy, and hard to enjoy AND IT WAS SWEET. However the chicken was pretty crispy and crunchy. Also they brought us a wing?? Onion rings were decent, the cheese balls kinda interesting BUT they were a lot better as leftovers when I reheated them at home. In the restaurant it was kinda overly sweet. The waitress here seem nice but just stretched too thin to provide super personalized service. I definitely needed more water for the spicy food but at the end I just made do. Not bad but I would most likely not return.

Yelp
If you're on instagram or tik tok, you've been roped into the Korean Fried Chicken loop for DFW. We've had this place on our list and luckily on a Saturday night, the wait wasn't so bad for the area at about 15 min for a party of 3. The interior is quite small and cozy so I can see the wait being much longer if we came a bit later. They were out of the Honey Soy, chicken feet, and Ddoboki which was unfortunate since honey soy is an elite flavor. They took our order right away but oddly didn't ask us for our drinks and we had to ask for water about 10 min into our meal. We ordered the cheese balls, cheese wings, and Smokey hot wings. Smokey hot had a nice sweet note, but actually had a really good kick. I'd give it 2 hot emojis instead of the one singular one they had. The wings were nice and juicy. The cheese balls were sweet but needed a sauce to it cuz it was a bit plain. My biggest complain - they cheaped us on both the wings. There should be 9 of each flavor wings as advertised, they gave us 8 on one and 8 on another. Wasn't worth it to try to complain to make it right, but cmon it's not hard to count the wings. The price is really expensive for what it is, and to be cheated on.

Yelp
Personally for some reason I didn't like this place as much as I wanted to. It looks good and they do fry the chicken well but I felt the sauces were underwhelming and bland/ flavorless? The service was great and portion size is pretty big but maybe I just got the wrong flavors. It's a good sized restaurant with a bar and it has chill relaxed vibes. Seems good to come and drink and eat with friends!

Yelp
ONE OF THE JUICIEST CHICKEN I'VE HAD IN A VERY LONG TIME! We visited Pelicana Chicken during Thanksgiving, when we didn't want to prepare any food. I met the owner as well, and he was so lovely! He went above and beyond and kept checking up on everybody. We got Peli Cheese Balls & Sweet Potato Fries to start. The cheese balls were sweeter than what I was used to, but the dough was great. We got no sauce and soy chicken and then crispy cheese chicken. The star for us was the no marinade/sauce chicken!! Fried to perfection and so juicy! Beer and soju were great pairings for it! Since we've been, it's definitely getting busier, but we'll be back go try the smoky tower and more chicken!

Lesley M.

Yelp
Pelicana Chicken serves Korean fried chicken, snacks, and drinks made to impress! The wait was LONG on a Friday night around 9PM, so be prepared to stand around for at least an hour if you go when it's busy. The ambiance was fun, which made the wait a little more bearable - lots of KPop, music videos, and cute Christmas decor. Plus, you can always walk around the shopping center and grab a boba tea or something. Once we were seated, a server quickly came to take our order. We ordered the Smokey Ice Highball Tower, which was an impressive table-sized, light up drink dispenser cooled by dry ice - the dry ice gave it its fun smokey effect! It was a combo of Soju and beer which my friends really liked. For appetizers we tried the Peli shaken fries and Peli cheese balls. The fries were very different, but I liked them. They had a sort of Parmesan cheese sprinkled over them; it tasted a little artificial, but it definitely helped to cut the heat of the spicy wings we ordered! The Peli cheese balls stole the show, though. Small balls of savory cheese wrapped in a sweet bread and fried to perfection - delicious! I would go back to Pelicana just for these cheese balls. We tried the signature fried chicken and the hot spicy. Both were very good, but both were also pretty sweet. The texture of the fried chicken was on point - a perfect amount of batter for crunchy skin but juicy chicken. Beware: the hot spicy is HOT & SPICY! I find I can handle spice pretty well and this gave me a run for my money. Overall, I would highly recommend Pelicana Chicken. Just be prepared for a meal more on the sweet side and less on the savory

Yelp
Idk man, I would like the attribute some of the shortcomings to this place being relatively new but I was disappointed. We were seated and then forgotten about for 10 minutes, until I made eye contact with a waiter and they noticed. Ordering was easy and quick but the food took an abnormal amount of time and it didn't even come out hot. Additionally, the waiter who took our order left an entire pitcher of water on our table for the entire duration of our experience and even when 3-4 different employees came by, nobody took it. The food did not come out temperature hot and we found everything to be overwhelmingly sweet, from the chicken sauce, to the fry seasoning, and cheese balls. Didn't hit the spot for me and after had to go to a different restaurant for a savory bite.

Lei T.

Yelp
I've gone here twice and it's definitely a restaurant that has pros and cons. Pros: Cabbage salad: first time I came here it was complimentary. The second time it was 2$. It's perfect for this meal. It balances out the oily quality of the rest of the food. The mayo dressing is both creamy and tart. Love. The cheese balls: I come here just for these.nso mochi and good. Perfectly crispy outside. Cons: The chicken is mid. Just nothing special about it. It doesn't have the banging onion sauce like cm chicken, or the deliciousness of BBQ. It takes forever and it's just okay

Caroline M.

Yelp
We were seated at the same table as another group due to limited space, which was understandable, but then we were forgotten about for 15 minutes. We didn't receive menus, so when our waiter finally arrived, we couldn't order right away. When the food eventually came, the tteokbokki was delicious (albeit overpriced), but the chicken was a big disappointment. While the portions were generous, they fry the whole chicken, which includes less appealing, bone-in parts beyond just wings and thighs. I may have missed a disclaimer about this, but finding a discolored piece resembling a rib was a big no from me. The sauces were tasty, but the chicken itself was unfortunately slimy on the inside. Overall, the sides were great, but the service and chicken left much to be desired.

Jonathan K.

Yelp
Came here on a random weekday for lunch and there were a couple of other tables of customers but it was mostly empty and service was fast. My wife and I got the original chicken with the hot spicy sauce and an original chicken with the signature sauce and both were pretty good. I especially like the chicken crispiness and the overall texture. Even the pieces with white meat were pretty juicy and not dry. I would definitely come again!

Angela T.

Yelp
First time trying this place out. Arrived before the dinner rush. We received complimentary cabbage snack upon sitting. Ordered some fried chicken and the peli cheese balls. The cheese balls weren't worth it to me for $9. There was a big mix up with our order which caused a headache (figuratively speaking). Ranch is an additional $1.50, soju was $14, and beer was $7. The half fried chicken w/signature sauce is $17 yet half friend boneless w/ honey soy is $18. The staff was kind and the ambiance was pretty cool.

Eunice H.

Yelp
Have you ever wanted to eat mediocre Korean fried chicken while being inundated with strobe light effects from multiple different tv screens playing K-pop music videos? Yeah, no. Staff were courteous. The chicken was mid - meat itself was tender and moist but most of the sauces had bland flavoring and the batter / fry was ok. Whoever was hyping this place up on social media did a good job making it look better than it is. We tried the fried cheese balls too and it's been a while that I've tasted something that bland. Definitely not family friendly - the music and screens were so overstimulating and not much on the menu suitable for young kids / toddlers.

Kenneth E.

Yelp
It is definitely my new favorite chicken spot place. It is nice and clean. They have a lot of TVs on for your entertainment. Try the smoky hot boneless chicken. It was pretty hot and too much chicken for me. I did like the cheeseballs. They were kind of sweet.

Vy N.

Yelp
Came in during lunch around 12-1 and wasn't too busy. Servers were attentive and helped with the menu. I ordered the smoky hot flavored chicken lunch bowl and a signature flavored half chicken. Smoky hot was my favorite because it has better flavor/spice and signature sauce was too sweet for me. Chicken was fried perfectly, crispy exterior and a really juicy interior. Overall, is good and probably pick the spicier options next time

Cat N.

Yelp
First time in and I wanted to try the fried balls. Solely came in for those actually, I ordered the variety to try them all, I much prefer the cheese ones only. It's the best one, next time I will only get cheese balls. I also ordered stir fried gizzards and it was so good! Healthier than fried and so flavorful.

Kit R.

Yelp
Gave Pelicana a try for the Honkai Star Rail event and even though it took 3 attempts to make it before they sold out, it was so worth it!! The staff is so sweet and very friendly, the food is amazing--especially those Mochi cheese balls!! The signature style isn't really that spicy, just a lil hint of heat so if you're usually cautious about spice you should actually be ok! It's so tasty! Make sure to ask for extra napkins tho, it's messy lol

Tien L.

Yelp
Cozy, dim light ambiance with super friendly staff! LOVED the cheese balls LOL they were sweet and crunchy and the cheese pull was crazy Half/half crispy chicken (original and smoky hot flavor) - the smoky hot flavor was unique to me, it was a smoky Korean bbq that's a little bit sweet and left a tingly sensation, the spice definitely built up. The original is pretty standard, nothing too crazy, but I like that it wasn't greasy! It was pretty meaty, and juicy. Nice crunch crunch for both flavors too The Ddukbokki (spicy rice cakes) was SPICY but the flavor was p good, though I wish it was a little bit softer Stir fried gizzards was well seasoned, something my viet parents would like lol Twisted donuts were on the house! But were a bit undercooked My friend and I had a wonderful experience, I hope to come back with more people so I can order the bubbly/smoky beer tower (purely for the vibes)

Eunice Sugisawa S.

Yelp
Wow! So impressed with their crispy chicken and their Modelo tap beer! I have been a long time Korean chicken fan, and been to many other chicken places but their soy flavored wings just amazed me. I don't like to leave a detailed review due to consuming so much of my personal time, but I had to leave one for this place since I am a very happy customer and have found my favorite Korean chicken place! Love the ambiance and their menu selection as well. The place was very busy and packed, I was worried that I would never get my food, but they handled the crowd with their enough waitstaff just fine and got my food so quick after I got seated. Must try ice cold tap beer with frozen beer mug! Yum~~~

Yelp
If there is one thing that there is no short supply of in Carrollton's new Korea town area it's quality Korean friend chicken places but I'm still happy to have another option in a new strip mall that completed this year across from from the HMART shopping center. Pelicana Chicken is a Korean chain with US locations that have mostly be limited to the coastal states so I was excited to see a location open here in DFW. When I went they were doing a collaboration event with a Chinese mobile game and offering a special meal option with wings, fries, and 2 of their cheese balls for $27 that included some game related collectables. After doing some quick math it seemed like a decent way to sample more of their menu without too much of an uncharge for the promo items or having to over order for just myself so I went for it (spoilers: it was still enough for my daily food intake and likely would be better split for 2). These kind of promotions are pretty common in Asia but I thought it was pretty cool to see something like this stateside as well. The chicken was the stand out and hangs with the best options in the areas in my opinion. Very crispy and I liked their sauce. I unfortunately got a little distracted in the back and forth discussing the promo and ended up with sauce on the side vs tossed and not asked for which one I wanted. Not a super big deal and partially my fault but I was likely a little lighter on sauce than I would have liked as a result. There were a couple minor things that I'd likely attribute to this being a newer place that I think they could improve on like they didn't mention they were out of fried cheese balls and just did a substitution on my order of the chocolate ones. I had seen them unavailable on their site earlier in the day and the day and just forgot about it - The chocolate one were still delicious though! Also, it took a little bit of time for them to take my order from the bar, and I didn't get a chance to order a 2nd drink until I finished my meal. The staff was polite and apologized for that without me bringing it up and I wasn't in a hurry so it didn't really bother me though. They proactively tried to make it right which was appreciated. I'll have to go back and try the cheese balls and the smaller lunch combo in the future. I think if they can iron out some of the minor issues I listed it could be a 5 star experience and a place I'd regular for my Chimaek fix. I'd highly recommend it if you are always on the hunt for a new KFC place like I am.

Andrea V.

Yelp
It's not worth it. Just go to CM chicken or BBQ chicken instead. We ordered drinks and chicken and fries and apps and spent money here. We finished eating and asked if they could give us 4 PLASTIC forks to eat 1 slice of cake to celebrate our friend's birthday and they refused to give it to us because they don't allow outside food. The experience was ruined and I'd rather just go to a different place next time.

Anita Y.

Yelp
This is one of the best fried Korean places around def, they have so many options I really like how they just expanded their menu. I really really love their chicken the wait is never too long too.

Kitty Y.

Yelp
Great food and service! I think the cheese wings are super underrated. Their other sauces are great too. Don't forget your dessert, the cheese balls and twisted donuts are my absolute favorite.

Danh N.

Yelp
Tried this restaurant a total of 3 times over the course of a month. Each time, they were completely out of boneless chicken. This has happened as early as 6pm on the weekends and on once on a weekday. I was told each time it was a "today only" occurrence where'd they'd run out of boneless chicken. Really disheartening having to wait 30-60 minutes for a table, only to be told they've run out of boneless chicken. At the very least, it'd be nice if they could notify potential diners of the available menu items before having them wait for an hour. I understand there are growing pains with any new restaurant, but it's been a month now since opening. How can a friend chicken restaurant consistently not order enough chicken? Service is mediocre at best. Our waitress was completely inaudible. One of us had to scoot within 6 inches of her to compete our order. Beyond the wait time to get a table, you should be prepared to wait an additional hour for your food to be served. Food: fries took 30 min to come out yet were quite undercooked snd soggy. Wings came out 15 afterwards. I really enjoyed the signature sauce but unfortunately lost my appetite after finding a hair tangled in one of the wings

Spencer L.

Yelp
Pelicana chicken is a popular chain in Korea for fried chicken and this is their first Texas location so it's exciting we got it here in DFW. The food itself was pretty good. I liked the peli shaken fries the most, the powdered cheese seasoning they had on them was really good. The chicken itself was decent but not as crispy as some other Korean fried chicken I have had. The inside was clean and the staff was nice, but the service was a little slow. However, it's pretty understandable since the restaurant is brand new and they had lots of take out orders. Overall the food was good and I would definitely go there with some friends but I might wait until the hype dies down a little.

Helen L.

Yelp
Their fried chicken is PHENOMENAL. I got the honey garlic and that was my favorite flavor. Their cheese/chocolate peli balls are so chewy and delicious. I went on a weekday so it wasn't as packed and the food came out quick. The workers are very nice and I liked how they give complimentary popcorn as we wait for our food. I'm definitely coming back to this place.

Tina T.

Yelp
Service is great, ambiance ok, food is meh....I like bb.q chicken better. I got their signature crispy chicken with signature sauce 9 pc for $17.....a bit overpriced imo

Rexi V.

Yelp
First off starting with the service they sat us right by the door when there were plenty of seats in the middle and away from the door. Then it took them forever to keep coming back to attend to us or even get our order. The first waitress we had didn't even know if she had certain items. We came there specifically for the fried chicken and she said they were all out but then later checked and someone had told her they had. Food came out super delayed, the chicken is what is hyped up to be I will give them that, but they definitely need more staff to help. When they tell you something is spicy trust them. All the flavors we got was good.

Victoria N.

Yelp
FOOD INSTAGRAM: @northtx.gemz **** WHAT THEY'RE KNOWN FOR: Korean fried chicken and their peli cheese balls that were actually out this day so I'm so sad we didn't get to try them THE VIBE: club vibes lol only bc the music was loud and people were loud metal chairs and tables. Clean! PRICE: i don't remember but i remember it being affordable for 5 people eating WOULD I COME BACK? Yes. **** Overall Rating: 9/10 - Great food, great portions! This franchise has came to DFW and was really popular around their grand opening. - I have only had real Korean fried chicken once from Ddong Ggo TX but I think I have a new food category to explore because I loved it. - The menu is a bit confusing to read and order from (even my friend @papreechaat agreed and she often goes to Bb.q Chicken). She said the cheese fried chicken here is better than Bb.q so I'm going to take her word for it but it was so delicious sweet and cheesy. I really liked their hot chili flavor as well. I recommend all the flavors but hot chili and cheese were my top 2. Also these were all HALF orders so be aware the portions are great! - These are THE BEST spicy Korean rice cakes I've ever had in my opinion. I would honestly go back just to have those again and ofc to try the cheese balls they ran out of. I'm obsessed! It was the perfect amount of spicy sweet. - Service was attentive and sweet. Will be back!

Maddie V.

Yelp
I came here on a Sunday night, it was pretty busy and there was a ~20 minute wait, but the wait was well worth it! The food was so delicious, the boneless chicken was very high quality and juicy. We got the Banban chicken, which is an order of half regular chicken and half sauce of your choice, which we chose the sweet Signature sauce for. The tteokbokki was among some of the best I've had in DFW, perfectly chewy and spicy. I was dipping the regular chicken in the tteokbokki sauce and it was *chefs kiss*. We also got the Peli Shaken Fries, which was topped with a slightly sweet cheesy powder that reminded me of popcorn seasoning. We also ordered yogurt soju, which they carry the brand Soonhari for. I haven't tried Soonhari soju before, and it was much better than yogurt soju I've had elsewhere. Overall, I was super happy with all of the food we ordered, it was so delicious and I'll probably dream about it until I have a chance to eat here again. The inside of the restaurant is super lively, I would definitely come back here for a celebration or night out. If I had one critique, it would be to add phone numbers to the waitlist so we could sit in our car while waiting to be called, as the front waiting area is very small and there were many groups waiting to be seated, so it was quite cramped.

Susan N.

Yelp
Happy to see another popular KFC chain come to DFW! We went on a Monday night around 9pm and the restaurant was full with a small wait time. After being sat I think our waiter forgot about us so we had to flag her down to take our order since she had already taking the order of a table that was sat after us. They just opened so the extra slow service was expected. Just don't dine here if you want a quick bite. Food took a long time to come out, but when it finally did, it made the wait more bearable. From the time we arrived at 9pm, we finally got our food at 10pm. I really wanted to try the combo cheese balls, but they ran out by then, bummer! They don't let you do 2 different sauce flavors on any large order so you have to individually order multiple small orders of chicken. We got the small order of crispy wings in the cheese flavor and a small order of crispy wings in the signature flavor. The wings were huge and came out hot. The flavors were really good as well. They both did lean on the sweeter side though so if you like more savory, pick another sauce! We also got the shaken fries which was dressed in the same cheese powder as the cheese wings and they were good too. Overall the food is worth it, but I would wait until their service improves to return again.

Yelp
Saw so many videos on Tik Tok, YouTube, Instagram, you name it and I've seen it. So I had to try it out for myself and it was a solid experience. The fried chicken was crunchy and flavorful! The hot chili sauce is spicy. Don't be fooled by the first bites after a while the chili kicks in and suddenly your sinuses are cleared and you can smell colors. Additionally, the sides were equally as yummy (the shaken fries are not shown because it was eaten and finished before a photo was taken). Service was extremely attentive despite it being very busy!

Yelp
The guy at the entrance took down my name for the waitlist but then proceeds to tell me that it's going to be a 2 hour wait and that he won't be texting me to let me know when the table is ready. I've never had a restaurant waste my time only to tell me no, we're not going to reach out to you to let you know when it's ready. This happened around 6pm during dinner time so just a warning that they will turn you down I guess. You're better off somewhere else.

Yelp
They know how to make amazingly super crispy fried chicken!!! The meat is juicy and tender. Each chicken piece is packed with bold flavors! We had the half order of garlic and the sweet chili signature flavors. The price of what we ordered was definitely worth it because they definitely did use premium chicken and ingredients! We also tried their peli cheese balls. They arrived steaming hot and the mochi like texture was amazing. The cheese was nice and stretchy. The balls were slightly sweet and savory. Delicious! The service here was great! The food also came fairly quick. I highly recommend this place for the best extra crispy Korean fried chicken!!!

Yelp
No surprise that a Friday night would be busy, but the atmosphere borders on intolerable and we waited for 50 minutes for food to arrive. Large parties seem to flock here, so expect long waitlists as people overstay post-meal to drink and yell. All of this and yet the Signature wings made up for all of it. Robust and deep with mild heat and sweetness, they were incredibly addicting. Not a dry piece, the meat eased off the bones and remained crisp under the glaze. While I may not add this to my roster of regular spots, I plan to revisit in moderation for events. Or carryout when I cave to my weak will.

Yelp
We ordered the Half portion Original Signature Chicken and the Half portion Original Smoky Hot Chicken. Y'all, the Half size is a LOT. We were 2 people thinking it would be just a few pieces of chicken so we ordered 2 Halfs but couldn't finish it all. You get a lot of food for what you pay for. Smoky Hot was actually spicy for 1 symbol! Probably because they use real chopped dried chili peppers for the flavor. We also got the Shaken Peli Fries but they are not for everyone. The seasoning is a sweet cheese powder and the fries are kinda flimsy.

Yelp
Ordered pick up here and was told 20mins. Came on time and was told 10 more mins. That's fine. 10 mins pass and no update. I go to the front and they tell me 3 more mins. They clearly forgot my order at this point, but tell me 10 more minutes. 12 minutes later, a random server (staff seemed sweet though) comes to apologize instead of the manager. After an hour, my food is ready and they give me 2 cans of coke as compensation lol. I'd rather get a formal apology or an explanation from the manager than 2 cokes (borderline disrespectful to offer in my opinion). I give the 2 cokes back and leave. Come home and find my chicken with slight blood or hemoglobin(?) with rubbery texture (prob rushed the cook to hurry the order). Also, peek the overly sauced soggy chicken. Would not recommend

Yelp
The location is brand new, clean and cute. The staff greets you as you walk in the door. The wings I got were super delicious and the cheese balls were like something I have never tasted! If your going alone I don't recommend you getting the 18 piece as it's a lot of food and expensive!(all the pictures plus a beer $57 before tax) I would go back but during happy hour when I can bundle what I had for less.

Yelp
After a few videos on social finally made it here for lunch. So, I went on a Tuesday for lunch trying to avoid the crowd and was successful. A few iconic items were out. Which is the reason I'm giving it 4stars. Portions are great & the food was very tasty. Mozzarella sticks were my favorite, they are battered different and are super crispy.

Yelp
I think this is the closest thing to actual Korean style chicken you'll find in Seoul. Flavor wise, the yangyeom was spot on . There are some negative reviews comparing it to bbq, but they are both good in their own ways! I thought the service was good and our waitress was attentive.

Yelp
I'm trying to give this place more grace since it just opened, but the chicken was just okay. Batter was crispy, but the chicken itself had no flavor, and the sauces were too salty for my liking. Their tteokboki had a good spice, but the rice cake needed to be cooked or boiled more. The cheese balls were not crispy, and I didn't get a good cheese pull upon eating it. Surprisingly, the choco and caramel balls were pretty good. I don't know if I see myself coming back, but I would like to give this place a second chance after they get their bearings down.

Yelp
I tried this place the other day and was pretty disappointed. We ordered the original fried chicken in two different flavors (forgot prob whatever was most popular). The chicken was almost wet/soggy with a really weird bite to it. It's hard to describe but it was unpleasant. The sauce was way too sweet and didn't go well with it. The chicken also seemed low quality... The doughnuts were delicious though. I'm willing to give this place one more try since the crispy option was sold out last time. They need to level up for sure though. Service was decent so overall 3/5 and a 4/10 for the chicken. I hope it's better next time so I can change this review.

Yelp
I had been anticipating this place since I saw them out the sign up! I finally got the chance to try it out last night with a friend. We ordered the Peli Cheese Ball, Shaken Fries, and Ban Ban with Crispy chicken and Soy Garlic boneless chicken. The chicken pieces were HUGE. The crispy chicken was good but definitely needed a dipping sauce to supplement the taste. The soy garlic chicken was flavorful and slightly spicy. The shaken fries were my favorite part of the meal! The cheese powder they used was soooo good. The Peli cheese balls were okay. The texture was similar to a mochi with cheese inside. I was expecting the cheese to be stringing, however, it was underwhelming when I bit into it. Their service was great! Our server was very knowledgeable and constantly checked on us to refill our water and asked if we needed anything! I am a huge fan of BBQ Chicken, but Pelicana has become my new favorite. Will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
One of the better Korean fried chicken place I've been to. The batter is actually crispy even though it is a wet sauce. The signature crispy wings is a subtle sweet and spicy sauce (my fav) we also tried garlic and hot chili which were also good. Service is good but wait time can be a little crazy sometimes, we waited over an hour on a Saturday night.

Yelp
My family and I came here to try it. We went to the one in Buena Park, CA. The service was wonderful and accommodating. The food tasted fresh and good. We would come again. The atmosphere was festive with K-pop music playing and the bar showing the MNF game.
